I want my readers to escape their realities and embark on a journey of self-exploration and love when they delve into my books. I have loved reading fiction, thrillers, and romance for years. Although my original (and still) writing interest was YA and self-help books, I received a surprise text one Valentine's Day, and wrote the very first chapter of a romance novel that day. And I became forever inspired to write contemporary and new adult romance - with a twist.

This book is the saddest and probably the happiest of the entire series…this book actually had me tear up a bit…but, I already was guess what was going on..li just didn’t know all of the particulars…this book reveals some truths.
This book had me ready to crash out and flip a table. Thankfully things were resolved in a way I could live with. These folks took me on a crazy ride but I was on the edge of my seat and so engaged. I thoroughly enjoyed this series.
This trilogy started out so wrong but ended so right. After all the secrets were revealed, everything made sense. Could there be a story on Aaron and Tisha?
Bakari and Kameron have a unique love story that many will not agree with. I must admit I scrolled past this series many times thinking I would never read about a brother in love with his sister in law. However the way this author develops this love story, it’s impossible not to root for Bakari and Kam. Wonderful read, make sure you have lots of free time when you pick this book up.
Saying I loved this book is an understatement. This book has all the feels! Love, heartbreak, you name it. I was so happy with the ending I cried. I 100% recommend this trilogy!
Wait a minute! I’ve read a lot of the reviews for this series and I agree that Ms. Love did an amazing job with such a delicate topic. However, no matter how gray the area became, sleeping with your brother’s wife is a no-no. Aaron did not deserve that. He truly loved Kameron and was devastated. He’s the real hero of the book because he put aside his feelings to be there for Kammie. So although the book is very well written, I just couldn’t get past the betrayal to actually root for Kammie and Bakari’s love. No one wins in situations like this. Their love will always be tainted to me.
This series took my emotions through the ringer. Yet, it was so beautifully written and touched on the most taboo of feelings. I love that Ms. Love wasn't scared to tackle the controversial topic of truly forbidden romances. Kari, Kam, Aaron, and their respective families were endearing and yet I wanted to curse all of them out a time or two. This is one of my favorite series to date.
Bakari, Aaron and Kameron had me on edge all three books wanting to know how it was going to end. Tiye Love wrote an amazing story about family, secrets, love and lies. I highly recommend this series. You will not be disappointed.
I enjoyed this trilogy but NOT this family. They were horrible toward each other and had the audacity to still say I love you. To sleep with your brother’s wife, to sleep with your husband’s brother, to mock your brother’s depression/suicide attempt, to hide a whole a** child from your wife? My mouth was on the floor the entire time. They made love an insult. Made it have no meaning. If my family loved me the way the Youngbloods loved each other, I would be in jail. There’s no way you can violate me like that. If I was Bakari, I would have turned Aaron every which way but loose. If I was Aaron, Bakari would have been punched through a wall, and they still would be trying to get him out.
These people had an excuse and reason for everything. With Bakari, he acted like he was better than the family when he was really a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He was just as shiesty and problematic as Aaron, only smarter. Just own it and say you did that sh*t because you wanted to and could, not b/c you thought Aaron didn’t love Kam, and you thought he wouldn’t be hurt. Be f*cking for real with those lame excuses🙄. Same for Kam too, trying to play the damsel in distress, acting like she wasn’t enjoying being in between brothers and didn’t know who she wanted. Like girl, you knew exactly who you wanted ten years ago, grow a backbone. Aaron…the ULTIMATE villain. He was a coward through and through, a loser to add on, and I can’t say how foolish he was enough.
This family really was something else. They were all villians! Nobody was the hero in this saga. No trust, no loyalty, no honesty, no respect. How can Aaron and Bakari even say they love each other at that point. "Brother" is just a title with them. That’s not real and genuine love, that’s tolerance and resentment. They were unhinged and made me question what is love.
The finale to the Forbbiden Trilogy didn't disappoint! I mean book 2 wasn't hitting it with me, but book 3 surely picked back up. Kam and Bakari left off on a low but the drama kept coming as they couldn't stay away from each other. What's surprising is though Aaron was cast somewhat as a villain for his past transgressions, he was made redeemable and actually became a character that I liked more than when I first encountered him.
The unexpected unfortunate turn of events had my mind reeling! I could not believe what had happened!! Kam's emotions were on point and I could feel her pain. The turnabout scene was a shocker and had me itching to know how it would be explained. The author did do a really good job of adding suspense here and I felt her explanation was plausible. The conclusion was satisfying and I felt it ended really well.
I'll be sure to try something else by this author.
Aww he couldn’t resist her. I thought is was a wrap the way Kari acted when Kam to his apt and just before the elevator closed he swooped in. A little cold at first but finally broke down.
I was shocked the way Aaron wished her luck when she told him her true feelings for Kati. I felt so bad for him. I loved how he put his own feelings aside and was a true friend to her during her pregnancy. I didn’t expect that from Aaron. My random thoughts as I read book 3....
Damn kandy mother was a bitch. I hate when women or men take out their anger for infidelity on the innocent child. I wonder if kandy knew what the real deal was.
Wow Kari’s return was interesting and believable.
Trisha and Aaron would be too weird
TMI mrs. C tmi. I agree
This third installment brought so much healing, growth and acceptance. I really enjoyed this series
These characters were so irritating. I really don't like how Kam tries to make it seem like her marriage was so horrible and that Aaron was such a bad husband and it would take for him to look at her crazy like 'so we didn't have good times' you were married for 10 years and your issue was that you didn't have a voice....in which you didn't communicate. Even Mrs.c finding out I felt was unrealistic like what mom responds like that , but was the exact opposite once it hit the fan. I think it was realistic for Aaron to make the change towards the end because sometimes it takes something drastic to happen foe you to see you. In the end Kam and Kari were still wrong and there is absolutely no excuse and Mrs.C would have absolutely been justified to NEVER speak to her again.
Can I just say, I'm glad I gave Tiye Love a chance. That always even though I dislike cliffhangers that I the opportunity to read the Forbidden trilogy in one day. The story of Kameron, Aaron and Baraki isn't as black and white as I wanted it to get. Love definitely has layers as well as betrayal. Family and upbringing definitely has a part in the way we view love. I think this last edition of the Forbidden trilogy was the most emotional. It had me all in my feelings and provided me the empathy and compassion I needed to really look beyond the taboo relationship that is was Bakari and Karmone. I often wonder how certain things come to be and what makes one stay or leave. This story provided in insight into how love can or is not enough.
Forbidden Hearts is a masterclass in what happens when everyone follows their feelings instead of the truth. From page one, this story had my emotions on edge. I was almost in tears while also wanting to yell at every character for their choices.
Bakari and Kameron clearly have something real, but the Universe complicates everything by tying them together through Aaron. Kameron is caught between two brothers, Bakari thinks she chose Aaron and shuts down, and Aaron suddenly wants to fight for a marriage he barely showed up to.
When the secrets finally spill and tragedy hits, everyone is forced to face the truth they avoided for far too long. I was stressed, emotional, and completely invested.
The culmination of this story that started out as just plain wrong....ended up with secrets revealed, no topic left unaddressed, and a satisfying outlook for all parties involved. Who would have thought that a subject matter such as the one tackled in Forbidden, could yield such results? As I said in my review of book 1, I was hesitant to take on this series due to the taboo topic, and relatively new and unknown status of the author. But if this series is a preview of what more we can expect from Tiye Love, I'm definitely here for it! A really well written series from an author that appears to be just getting started! New Fan Alert!!!
Every book is this series has been like a roller coaster ride. And let me just say I HATE ROLLER COSTERS,yet 😂😂😂I could never put any of them down. Chapter eight and nine of this book almost took me out. I put the book down and swore I wasn’t going to read another page . Well that lasted all of fifteen minutes and I’m glad I finished the book things happened that I really wasn’t expecting including receiving clarity on Kamrons relationship with her mother. I’m going to need a minute ( more like a day😂😂) before I read book 5 emotionally this was a lot. Yet it was worth it ❤️
WHAT🫣⁉️…OKAY, Ms. Love you’ve taken this “forbidden” trilogy to another dimension‼️I’m absolutely speechless 😶 ‼️Ms. Love you pivot, like a baptist usher on first Sunday 🤣😂‼️Thereafter, “Forbidden Hearts (Forbidden Trilogy - Book 4) was a interesting, emotionally compelling & complex story, but a good read. Be aware though, family you can’t live with them nor can you survive without them! Aaron, Bakari, Kameron, Mr. Patterson, Mr. & Mrs. Youngblood & friends have proven this mantra to be accurate. …oh, either liquid and or intense mental therapy is imminent for me!
What can you say about true love!??? This conclusion was fantastic because again you felt every emotion that Kam, Bakari and Aaron felt. With the help of her family and friends and especially Aaron, Kam found the will to live for her baby and herself. In her heart she felt that Bakari was still and alive and that is a testament to soul mates. They were meant for each other and nothing could keep them apart. Fantastic just fantastic!!!
I devoured this series in 24 hours. I didn’t see how the story could be resolved in such a way that I would not end up hating anybody, but I have to give props to the author, because she totally managed it. The characters in this book experienced a great deal of personal growth and maturity, which carried over into their romantic and familial relationships. I really enjoyed the series and Tiye Love is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors.
This is the dumbest book that I’ve ever read. Y’all know damn well none of this story is very realistic. These are moments in time that I will regretfully never get back! Kam was as weak as wet toilet paper. I won’t waste my time on the brothers. The entire series was full of people that had no loyalty whatsoever . It did have a happy ending though!! Will never read her books again.
This series is so wrong, and yet, I couldn’t stop reading. From the very first pages, I knew the story was crossing lines it probably shouldn’t, but that’s exactly what made it impossible to put down. The forbidden love at the heart of the series is intense, uncomfortable, and completely consuming.
It’s not a series for everyone, and it definitely challenges moral boundaries, but if you enjoy messy romance this delivers forbidden love at its finest.
What a beautiful story, when you're in love,it's so frightening.Bakari I felt sorry for he was in turmoil, rollercoaster. And Aaron how he felt about his brother taking his wife This is what happens when you think love is just a fazed But I loved the up and down of this story,it was so fascinating.
I read the entire trilogy in one day and they were amazing! I enjoyed every page of every book in this series! These books came highly recommended and suggested by a good friend and I'm glad I listened go her! Book 3 gave me closure and understanding and I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to read more books by this author!
This series will take you on an emotional exploration of pondering the meaning of true love, self worth, and sacrifice for those we love. Such an amazing journey. The author's style of writing draws you in and you can't help but get engulfed in the tidal wave of human emotions and experiences. Great Job 😊
I enjoyed reading Forbidden Hearts! I couldn't put my kindle down! This trilogy was just fantastic! I enjoyed the storyline and the chemistry between Kameron and Bakari! So happy with the ending! It shows that true love will find a way! Fantastic book!
Aaron, Kam Bakari irked me so badly. But I had to keep reading all three books to see what would happen next. I don't particularly like storylines like this, but it was a good read. The twist and turns will keep you invested.
Life and death never give up. Kam was lost with out kari and if mean losing her life and baby. She love and she love hard. Arron was still I In love with her. But she stay faith to her love. 💘 this am these book
This entire series kept my nerves so bad and that's a good thing. Can you imagine being in a situation like this🤦 The emotions and personalities of these characters shined through to take the reader on the rollercoaster with every dip and turn.....Moon
Those books were magnificent. Suspense, keep you on your toes. I truly can say I have not read a book like that since I read “Nervous” by Zane. I definitely can’t wait to read more by this author. Thank you
