as a sports fan this was a dream come true.one of my favorite books i hope there is a second edtion.these are my top 5 sporting events i've seen live in person or on tv.
1.1994 world cup usa upsets colombia 1st round
2.1980 winter olympics usa beats soviet union medal round
3.1982 world cup semi final west germany beats france in pk's after exciting 3-3 tie
4.1981 afc div plyoff chargers beat dolphins 41-38 in (ot)
5.1982 nhl divisional semi final game 3 kings come from 5 down to upset oilers 6-5 in (ot)
