Vengeance is the second book in this series and is running high on tension. After Remy is captured, she is held against her will by her "father" and his guards for years. In this part of her life, she mainly sees two of her mates, Maddie and Silas, as they are still pawns in Patrick's game as well. The clock is starting to run out as Patrick is learning the moves being made and is trying to benefit himself and get rid of Remy by making a deal. There is no love lost between Patrick and Remy, and that is proven when she regains more memories and sends her off with Blake, when the unthinkable happens. He crosses a line he thinks will unite them forever, but he couldn't be more wrong as he seals his fate in her eyes.

Nooo!!!!!

I can’t believe that ending. I’m in tears AND it’s a cliffhanger? Come on! Book 3 cannot come quick enough. Welp, as you know, book 1 left off with an uncertain future for Remy as she sacrificed herself for Hunter’s safety. Vengeance picks up where that left off and details Remy’s imprisonment. We finally get to meet Remy’s 5th mate and I gotta say, she has quite the Harem. We get to see a little more badassery from our favorite assassin, but while this one was packed with a lot, Remy really was more of a prisoner so you don’t get to see her kicka$$ abilities as much; it’s more plotting and scheming behind the scenes stuff. Then that last 15%... oh my gosh. That’s the fireworks. I mean here I am, about to put the book down for the night and got to sleep (it is midnight after all) and that finale hits and I’m like nope, I’ve GOT to stay for this ending. It is well worth it. You won’t regret reading this one through the night.

So I’ve met the new queen of cliffhangers and I’m addicted.

This book will run you through every emotion; rage, betrayal, heartbreak, passion, joy, etc. CY does a masterful job of building a complex world with fully fleshed out characters - it's easy to lose yourself in Remy's shoes and feel like you are right there with her. By the time you reach the last page you will feel like you've run a marathon - it's that good! There are plenty of dark moments in this continuation of Shadow's journey, so be sure to read the trigger warnings prior to purchasing. I cannot wait to see how Shadow gets her justice in book 3. With everything that happened to her in book 2, I can only imagine how inventive she will get in her punishments. Especially for the Senator's son.

I can not express enough how much I LOVED this book, this series, their characters, just absolutely everything! I could not put this book down and I am so ready for Justice to be out that franticly searched Amazon and Goodreads hoping I had somehow missed it. I am not normally a paranormal/supernatural book fan but hits series is slowly turning me. Shadow is amazing and I love the CY does shy away from the touchy topics of her upbringing. While someone of the thing Remy has been through are hard to swallow, getting to learn about them allows the reader to have a full and complete understanding is how she ended up the person that she is. I will be impatiently waiting the next chapter in Shadow and her mates journey!

Dying for more

Holy shiz, not very eloquent I know but that's the set of words that come to mind after reading this book. I'm honestly overwhelmed by the amount of emotions this book evoked, this story had some masterfully crafted,
but very dark twist and turns and I'm still on edge because of it (This is a good thing). Poor Remy was most certainly put through the ringer in this one and in a way so was I. My poor heart took a battering during this read, and I don't know what to else to say except I need to read more. I absolutely positively need to read more. I love Remy and her mates and I applaud CY Jones for making it impossible for me to put this book down. This story is so very well crafted and I honestly can't wait for the next book.

This book seems to drag out.

The typos and grammatical errors aren’t nearly as often throughout this book, but still noticeable and it takes away from the story.

Having two years pass in captivity doesn’t make any sense. O’Donnell is one man. Either of her mates that work for him could have killed him easily and then Remy’s father’s Agency could have easily torn down the syndicate.

I think this book was overly drawn out with too much unnecessary filler and without enough important information that truly answers our questions.

Remy was also made out to be this fearless badâśś, but she didn’t seem all that scary like she was made out to be. I left this book with far more questions than when I started it.

I am completely in love with this series! CY Jones has done an amazing job with this boo.
O'Donnell has Kidnapped Remy and her mates are trying to get her back. There are many challenges to face and new characters to meet. These characters are so well developed with well rounded backstories. I love each character as they all provide something different to the story. I really don't think I have a favourite as they have all captured my attention.
This is a amazing story and well worth a read. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next one!

C Y Jones has done it YET again!!! This book, as part two of the Out For Blood Series, has new challenges for Remy the MC to face. It introduces new characters for you to love (or hate). These characters are built to true C Y Jones standards. They are fully rounded, beautifully crafted and described and you will live their stories in your imagination. C Y continues to amaze me with her continuations of previous books. They follow on from each other, but are individual and incredibly powerful stories. Do yourself and your imagination a massive favour and get into some Vengeance for yourself.

Lots of unanswered questions

First, I just want to warn other readers about a few potentially triggering scenes. Remy is raped in this book. The details were a bit too much for me so I mostly skipped that scene.

Remy is in captivity for the entire book. I wasn't a fan. It all felt like a waiting game. Why didn't the guys make a move on O'Donnell's assets during the 2 years he had her? Also, why did he put her in a coma? What purpose did that serve? I have lots more questions that I hope will be answered in the next book.

Much better than the first

☆☆☆☆
This is book two the series. This one was much better than the first in regards to editing. There are still some places where a word is missing, misplacement of words in the sentence and wrong word used such as "he/him" instead of "she/her".
The plot thickens and you learn more about the villians, the main villian, each of the main and supporting characters backgrounds and such. There is also heart touching moments.
I look forward to the next installment.

OMG! Wow what a fantastic read. I finished this book within two days..... Remy is trying to sort out all the stuff with her mates as well as missing her brother Rowen. This starts fantastically from book 1.... We learn alot more about Rowen in this book and what needs to be done..... Remy hasn't quite got her Vengeance but she is well on her way. Can't wait to read what happens in book 3. Fantastic

I love this book and I will freely admit one spoiler and that is that I did cry while reading this book, but it's because you can relate to the characters so easily and when they hurt you feel that pain or the love between the characters. My favorite character is still maddie but I'm really starting to fall for silas as well but all of the characters are amazing. This book is very smooth and easy to read even as it goes from remis POV to one of her guys POV. I highly recommend this book.

Wow - there are a lot of triggers and dark parts to this story, so heed the trigger warnings. O’Donnell has Shadow captive, and her guys are trying to find and free her. Shadow endures a lot, but she is fierce and keeps on fighting as much as she is able. The ending is heartbreaking as Shadow has soem difficult choices to make. I can’t wait to see how the relationships continue to develop and change, and what Shadow will decide to do.

This book is going to rip your heart out and smash it into a million pieces but it's going to do it in a way that makes you ache for more. As I sit here crying, trying to wrap my head around everything, I realize that CY Jones has wrapped me up and made me beg for more. Remy needs her HEA, if any character ever deserved it it's her. There is a lot of triggering materiel in this book so please take caution before reading it and try to keep your heart out if you even can.

Wow, that’s all I’ve got to say. This book engrossed me so much I didn’t want it to end. The build of characters is amazing to me, with so many of them not one felt weak. I am so impressed by CY Jones imagination that it’s crazy to me she’s a newer author. You guys will not regret reading this story one bit.

This series/ story

Has been a roller coaster of emotions. Poor Remy has been through way too much . I can’t believe she’s still so strong, Determined, and fighting back . I can’t wait to see the downfall of all those douche bags that brought any type of pain into her life . I hope she makes the right decision even though it’s probably the hardest thing she’ll ever have to do .

Gut-wrenching

Remy is back and she is not backing down...even when she is in places in a corner devoid of hope. Vengeance is gut-wrenching, rage inducing and will honestly bring you to your knees. The different levels of betrayals and traumas induced on will make you want to punch a wall.

Keeps getting better and better

Remy is amazing, clever, smart and her story pulls you in. The bad guys are really evil and Remy has to decide where her destiny will take the world. This book had some great cheer out loud moments and some sad parts that made me want to cry. Really recommend this series

The second book in the out for blood series broke me. I was disappointed for about 5 seconds with the time line difference from the first book and then quickly forgot about it as I was sucked into the story. So many unexpected turns in Remy's story. Justice better be served because my heart cracked when I finished this book. I need my happy ever after for Remy.

Another great story! Love Remy!! Cy jones knocked it out of the park! She has build an amazing world with remy and omgeee the twists it's not for the faint of heart! There is a bit of violence that may be a trigger for some people. It is well written and handle with respect. I'm excited for the cross over with her Lost heir series she is for sure one of my all time fav new authors!

She did it again!

Again trigger warning on the sexual assault but with that said WOW. As always very well written and such a strong main character, when everything is against her from the beginning she stays strong. Getting her memories back broke me, her fight is what kept me reading and waiting for her to win!! I can't wait to start book 3!
