While I felt that Panning got me a little lost in his grammar explanations sometimes, I was glad to have the chance to slow down and appreciate God's grace in contrast with the unrighteousness of all people. A good companion as I read through Romans.
Not as in depth as the commentary by Kuske, but wonderful for bringing out the intent of the book - reminding us it is by grace we are saved. I especially like the commentary on our sanctified life and how works are a result of faith and not necessary for salvation, but will be present in a believers life.
