Beyond the Reflection

Rate this book
Holly has always been told that guys wouldn’t go for fat girls like her. Well, I guess the joke’s on them. Holly Davenport has finally landed a date with gorgeous EMT Blake Anderson. Not only that, but it also seems as if Mark is looking to become more than just her personal trainer as well. How is it, that the girl who believed no guy would ever look at her as more than a friend, now has two gorgeous guys vying for her attention? Filled with self-doubt, Holly can’t help but think that this is all too good to be true, especially when Blake’s seemingly perfect ex-girlfriend decides that she wants him back. It’s time for Holly to make a choice, she can either fall back into her old self-defeating ways, or she can learn to embrace happiness and discover that real beauty lies beyond her reflection.

SIMPLY AMAZING!!

If I could give this book 10 stars, I would do it in a heartbeat!! This is book two in the True Beauty series and I’m waiting on pins and needles to read the last book! Michelle is an excellent writer and has a way of drawing you into the storyline as if it were your own life. This book had me turning pages so quickly that before I knew it the book was done. I love how Hollie is faced with insecurities in her appearance, but those around her are quick to point out her beauty despite the monologue running through her head. I, for one, can relate on so many levels and this series is a great way to start changing the monologue in my own head. Do NOT read this book before you read the first one, though you would only be a little lost because Michelle is great at backstories, but as with any series, you wouldn’t appreciate the storyline as much.
