The suspense continues in book 3! The actual, diabolical, worldwide plans are revealed, and as always, non-stop action ensues. At the same time, the readers questions are all answered. The heroine, Mia, continues front and center, risking it all. You simply have to read the first two books in the series to enjoy this awesome wrap-up! Jessie Cal has an incredible ability to create and, then, unravel a very complex set of relationships and circumstances.

With the disappointment from book two a the forefront of my mind I went into this book unsure of what I would find. Happy to report that this one truly redeemed the author from the repetitive yawn I found book 2 to be. With everything coming to a head there are plenty of surprises for the rag tag team. Relationships will be healed. Love will be ignited. Memories will be restored and taken over and over and there will be plenty of action in the meantime. This author does propel her characters into problems and has mega twist to get them through. completely enjoyed this author's style and I will most definitely read more. This isn't a standalone series however for me books one and three were off the chain.

Catalyst: Romance Suspense
(Disarray Series - Book 3)
by Jessie Cal

Catalyst is a sensational story; which takes the readers on a wild rollercoaster ride of unexpected circumstances, and tumultuous mishaps. An action packed, page turner that will keep the readers heart pounding, and pulse racing; while reading about the misfortunes and struggles of the characters. The readers get drawn into this storyline and the whirl of emotions so deeply that everything else ceases to exist. Catalyst is filled with drama, suspense, action, romance, and comedy; keeping the readers laughing and crying and deeply immersed in this mesmerizing storyline and thrilling plot.

The characters are authentic, and so realistic that the readers cannot help but to be able to relate to them and feel what they are going through. With scenes that are so brilliantly detailed it is easy to picture each situation, and the characters play off one another so well. Well done!

Author Jessie Cal had a wonderful writing talent and the ability to really bring this story together beautifully with amazing detail, and character that are realistic. Catalyst is the 3rd book of the Disarray series; but it can be read as a standalone; but the readers will want to go back and read the other two books; Anamnesis (prequel: bonus novel, book 2) and Disarray is book 1 of the series. Ms. Cal has a wonderful way of entwining both, mystery, and suspense mixed with a lot more in the pages of Catalyst. It is somewhat addicting.

A remarkable job Ms. Jessie Cal, thank you for sharing this story with us. I could not put it down, and I look forward to what Ms. Cal will bring to her readers. I will be reading more from this author’s work!! I was blessed with a copy to read and enjoy. I am wanting to help this author get her work in to the hands of more readers; therefore, I want to write a review and give both a 4.5-star rating.

Wow... just wow. I am speechless. This series is simply amazing! I couldn't put it down until the very last page. It was just...perfection! Jessie somehow has managed to keep throwing plot twists even at this point, even when you think all secrets have been revealed, you're thrown into another brilliant whirlwind of discovery. The surprise in this book brought my broken-heart to life in ways I can't even describe! That being said... This book is very different than the first two. It has a lot more action, it's fast-paced, and there's a bit more violence because, of course, she's no longer running for her life, she's charging against her enemies as it should be! But as she does it, she realizes her enemies have the upper-hand once again. They've taken the mind of someone she loves, and now it's up to her to save everyone she cares about.

Talk about a strong female character. This is it. She has grown so much from the timid girl who remembered nothing. This is the best version of her, and it was the best character development I have read in a long time. It had me cheering for her until the very end. Oh, God. The End! It was brilliant! Shocking would be an understatement. I was at the edge of my seat, waiting to see what would happen. Then BOOM! another twist, and a happy ending. I absolutely LOVED this series, and how everything was wrapped in a happy bow made it even more enjoyable.

If you enjoy a clean action-packed, fast-paced, and LOTS of romance... grab the whole disarray series. You will not regret.

ONE EXPLOSIVE TREAT!!!
Wow! Talk about one page flipping wild rollercoaster ride. You get it all with this little guy. A whirlwind of mishaps, unexpected circumstances and surprises propel your swirling emotions into play. One action packed, hard hitting, pulse racing, heart pounding bombshell that catapults this bad boy blazing to life flawlessly. Twixt and twined and put through the wringer as we follow the trials, tribulations and struggles. You get drawn into this world so deep everything else ceases to exist. All the drama, danger and suspense keep you riveted on a razors edge. When push comes to shove, all bets are off. Jessie really brings this baby together beautifully with an gripping storyline and thrilling plot. The characters are authentic, believable and so realistic with such depth and individuality it's easy to relate. The scenes are so graphically detailed it's easy to picture each scenario as they play off one another perfectly. Remarkable job Jessie, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.

INCREDIBLE!!
All through the book the only thing that was running in my head was what the hell?! The plot was exceptional. And the twists and revelations this book had along the way was just highly amazing. Although there were certain parts that were unpleasant but I am glad that the catalyst trial finally ended. The whole concept, though thrilling, was creeping me out. And I loved the way finally how all the characters ended up together; the series made sure that we felt that all the characters deserved much more than what they already had.
This series was simply beautiful 😍

PHENOMENAL!!! Jessie Cal deserves high praises for coming up with such a unique storyline that will make you question everything around you. It had me hooked from the very first page, and it was so action-packed, I could not put it down. I read it through the night because just when I thought I had found a place to pause, something would happen that would make me want to keep reading. It was none stop action and so many surprises. AND WHAT A MIND-BLOWING SURPRISE IS IN STORE!!! The twist and turns in this book will blow you out of this planet! And you will find yourself holding your breath until the very last page. I wish I could rate this book so much higher than just 5 stars. It was truly the best romantic suspense series I've read this year, and I look forward to reading more from this author.

She thought having answers would be better but there is so much more than she expected. I did read books 1 and 2 before this one and I think it really made the story. There were multiple levels of intrigue and mystery. I think you’ll have a better understanding of the story and way more enjoyment. Highly recommend these but do read them in order.

Wow! Great Series, glad I took a chance on this new author.

Received the first book free for signing up for the Newsletter, after reading it, I immediately bought the next two books. The second book had a lot repeat from the first, still was glad for a little more back story. This third book had me twisting and turning in every way, about the time I could hardly keep my eyes open and was ready to head to bed, something would happen and sleep was the last thing on my mind. Needless to say, I couldn't put it down, now I need to get some sleep.

Everything in Mia’s life has been a lie. Her memories were stolen and replaced with false memories. But she is getting her life back. With the help of her friends she is working to overturn the Order, but friends turn out to be foe and some of her enemies turn out to be friends. There are lots of twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seats. There are also tender moments and there is a HEA for most of the characters.

Who can you trust? This is the first book I've read in this series and I am going back now to read the others. Lots of twists and turns, mystery, suspense, and romance. Well-developed characters and descriptive scenes make this book a delight to read. Is it bad that I would like to learn to be a pickpocket now? After all, this story shows that you never know when it could come in handy!

I voluntarily read and reviewed a free copy.

This book made me feel so many different emotions, it’s hard to comprehend how immersed I was.
Feelings of love, confusion, anger, loss/grief, fear, even hatred. I can’t even describe it all. Great story!
Still have tears in my eyes...

This was an excellent ending to the Disarray trilogy. The characters were all really well- developed and I really cared what happened to them. It was rather heart-breaking, for Shawn to be resurrected and then killed, but the few moments she got were sweet.
The ending was great and happy.
I really enjoyed it.

WOW!! I did not see any of this coming when I started reading this, but I LOVED IT! Absolutely phenomenal! And my broken heart was quickly healed with the nice surprise! Action-packed, fast pace, lots of romance, and family sacrifices. Mia has truly become the strongest character in this story and it was amazing to see her growth in the series. I will definitely be reading more from this author.

This story held my interest from the beginnig (book 1). But, more than the others, Catalyst has everything you need to keep you truning pages... Characters are strong and well developed and give life to an intreaguing story with a lot of "coup of theatres". I really loved it.

Must-read romantic suspense…Jessie is a bona fide suspense superstar. And her books may be peppered with enough twists and turns to give you whiplash, but the simmering romance she builds makes for such a compelling, well-rounded story. Loved it. Highly recommend.

A mission to take down the Order—the leaders of the Catalyst trial.

Catalyst continues Mia’s story. The last we heard of her (and I’m having to go back to my review of Disarray for a rehash) she was battling the loss of memory and the struggle to remember. In the last few pages, Mia’s memory is suddenly restored.

Catalyst doesn’t quite pick up where that story left off, which is why it took me a while to get reacquainted with it. In this story, Mia is in hiding and the soldiers are still out there. There were some characters that I couldn’t quite remember, which made following the story a little harder. When I first started reading this, several questions came to mind. What was the Catalyst trial? What was their mission? I still didn’t get the whole soldier angle. And what does any of this have to do with Mia and her memory? Does Mia even have her memories back? Of course, I’m just assuming because that’s where the first book left off. And what has happened since then? For me, there were holes in this thing right from the beginning. I think I would’ve preferred a brief recap of Mia’s memory restoration and have the story pick up from there. That would’ve made it easier on me.

Once again, this is another lovely and well-written work by Jessie Cal; however, I just didn’t feel that same connection I had in the first book.

A fantastic romantic mystery filled with extraordinary surprises!

Book 2 - Memories Restored (AKA Book 3 - Catalyst): In addition to the great mystery, Mia’s story continues with more revelations about family, friends, and romantic relationships. So many twists and turns, drama and danger, love and emotions explode in this book.

It is so hard to leave a review for a really great story without sharing any spoilers. First, I want to say that I respect an author that has a developed vocabulary and does not litter the book with foul and abusive language. Jessie Cal is a new author to me that I added to my favorite author’s list.

So, let me share what I liked about this book in general terms: a suspenseful and thrilling story, an abundance of mysterious romantic connections, a clean drama filled with intriguing and unexpected surprises, a book that is hard to put down-even to sleep.

I really liked this romantic suspense series of three books, but Book 2 was definitely my favourite. I found Book 3 somewhat repetitive and I guess that is why the new name 'Memories Recalled' was chosen for this book on the rewrite and new cover. I think I would rather to have read this book, which is now listed as a Prequel, first. There were parts of it that I found confusing. This author can write though and I have a feeling that I will be thinking about her characters and the Catalyst machine for some time.

Well done, Jessie Cal!

There is some repetition of events mentioned earlier in the series, but the scenes are expanded on and oh man, the feels. Yes. So good.
