Fantastic series, and I just discovered on bookapy.com that the author has published a practically rewritten and fully edited series, expanding each piece into a full book. What was a very good story had now become a great book. Everything is better, from dialog, to the personalities of the family of John Cook, and all those little typos and comma over usage have been fixed! Delightful and warm, positive and uplifting, and with a lot of heart. A wonderful series just got ten times better.
This series is divided into 8 or 9 parts, all very good. John Cook is omniscient, he can remember future events, even the ones he might have made. An interesting idea, dealt with in an intriguing way. Minimal sex in the series, which spans from age 9 to sixties. As John navigates recent history, even his subtle changes lead to large shifts globally. Be warned, there's one part that is so perfectly written, that most readers cry. That would be the part called 'Days that count'.
