Shuichi Shigeno (Japanese author profile: しげの秀一) is a manga artist, best known for the manga series Initial D. Shigeno has also created Bari Bari Densetsu, Dopkan, and Tunnel Nuketara Sky Blue ("First Love in Summer") all prior to the manga that would make him famous in 1995. In 1985, he received the Kodansha Manga Award in shōnen for Bari Bari Densetsu.
Less racing and more Natalie trying to get with Tak and panty shots. It was predictable and desperate. She got in his way every step, getting a job with them so he could watch her get chatted up with every old guy that got gas and then gate crashed his home. I'm waiting for the blow up with the glasses girl. Ends with an ex boyfriend cliffy. Don't really want to read the next one.

This volume was fun. Dynamic, a lot of romantic drama and some fun winter driving! Got a lil too manga-fied with the suggestive elements but otherwise was true to initial D form!
Garbage volume, the worst of the series so far. The way the older men get all creepy towards Natalie, Natalie being attracted to Tak’s dad even though the fact she liked older people was the reason Tak left her. The potential rape stuff too? Why???
