2.5 at best.
Unfortunately this book had some contradictions from the get go. Straight off the bat Maggie states she is a 'love em and leave them' kinda girl then all of a sudden starts on about how she can't find a good man. Then from there the whole thing just seems rushed. There isn't much flow to the story and I found Mick nothing like the Hot Alpha Cop he is supposed to be. He comes across as awkward and unsure of himself at the start and doesn't get much better.
There are some funny moments that had me giggling but not sure I could recommend to anyone.

This is the third book in this series. Mick is a sexy alpha cop, who has his eye on curvy Maggie. Maggie has trust issues, and when she is in danger, Mick is determined to protect her. This is a good story which is humorous and a steamy read. I look forward to reading more from this author, and recommend for all.

Good Title
Mick got his curvy girl, finally. The characters are original and likable. Let me start with Maggie, she is independent, personable, guarded, and a loyal friend. She had few friends but she holds them fear and close. Maggie also had a difficult childhood until her grandmother was in her life. For more on this you must read the book😉! She has a good head on her shoulders which is shown by her owning a salon. Mick is a police officer who knows what he wants in a woman but not always how to get it. He is determined, presevering and an all around good guy. All of the characters had significant rolls in throughout the story. My only complaint is there were some clumsy transitions between events that I had to read to get back into the story because the flow was interrupted. A must read.

Maggie... lord of tacos she annoyed the crap out of me.. she was the type of girl who felt like date someone and leave them high and dry.. but complains she can't find the right guy. Like girl make up your fking mind!! Ill be honest i did skim some chapters cuz i couldn't handle her. As for hottie cop Mick.. he was just there for me.. he wasn't a ott alpha he was just unsure of things not really dominant just a let down.. heck his partner called her a fat chick and he didn't even defend her... yeah he just met ber but man defend her!! Ugh i just couldnt connect with these characters..
No ow/om drama, sorta tiny drama, no cheating, sexy time, secondary chara, no virgins.

Oh my oh my. Police officer, please arrest me! I have been such a bad bad girl !!!
I think that's exactly this book was all about. A curvy walking temptation sexy as sin h met honest determinant alpha af H, who happened to be police man; a police man with moral and gentleman material. Honest? Checked! Sexy and hot af? Checked and frickin checked! Gentleman? The dude was a solid gentleman!! Steamy and sexy? Oh Lord, where do I start.
This was a good short read. Would recommend to read for those whose looking independent women with a bit spark of instalust story and honest-to-God alpha H. The only thing that I didnt like was how adamant the h on saying that she's not falling (and resisting in the same time) while I thought it was time she should raise the white flag.

I received an ARC and I'm freely reviewing.
I've never read this author before and the premise sounded good. I thought I'd give the book a shot. So, there were times where I was a bit confused or just thrown off by the writing. But there were times where I found myself smiling or chuckling over the story.
We meet Mick and Maggie. The first time you meet Mick, something happens and you think oh you are a jerk. But he redeems himself and you can't help but picture a big teddy bear. Maggie is a woman who protects herself and has a hard time trusting/believing in others. Overall, this is a good book that will leave you with a smile.

This book was slow to start for me. I took a while to get through the first chapter. I did put it down a couple times, then powered through the second chapter. What can I say, bonus points for being set not just in my city but in my neighborhood. I enjoyed this book, full of hot chemistry that keeps you turning the pages! Finally a hot cop who falls for the curvy girl!! This author is new to me I did enjoy this book.

Really enjoyed this story it’s well written with a lot going on great characters I laughed out lots couple of times especially the grapefruit part loved her friends will read their stories even though they were out before this one lots of steam in this story. Mick and Maggie’s story was a sweet and easy read. Maggie claims she isn’t interested in a relationship but Mick is determined for her to admit that she’s his girl. I liked their chemistry. Maggie tried to fight her feelings for Mick but he’s just as stubborn. This was a cute story with a little drama. I recommend!

I loved the characters in this one. A large curvy woman who is feisty and knows exactly what she wants. A hot police officer who wants her for keeps. But will their stubbornness get in the way? Gripping from beginning to end with a little shocking twist to keep you interested. Great storyline with amazing characters who have amazing sexy chemistry. Loved this one .

First time reading a book from this Author.
I liked the story of Mick and Maggie , yes there was real chemistry between them but Maggie’s character just annoyed me so much. She was so negative all the time I felt like slapping her . Mick was hot. I liked him a lot
Overall not bad a storyline and execution just fell a little flat for me.

this was a really great book! he is a cop and meets a cute curvy woman that he has to have. she doesnt take crap from anyone even him. there is danger lurking around the corner and he wants to save the day. read to find out what happens.

I binged on this novella and read it in a couple of hours.
Alpha cop meets a not so damsel in distress and the lust o meter hits the roof.
It's a good book to read if you fancy a bit of light entertainment with a twist.

What a wonderful story. I really liked Mick and Maggie and their story. Such good characters. I loved how far Mick went to get what he wanted and loved what all Maggie put him through to get there.
