Dan and Jill Kimball are married dominants, sharing a submissive named Lori, in a happy relationship, but wanting a male to submit. While not actively looking, Jimmy approaches Jill, interested in submitting. After a series of discussions, Jill directs Jimmy to speak with Dan, who feels a similar click with him, and, at lunch, Lori feels it too.

Great changes come into a wide variety of lives as matters rapidly evolve and whole avenues of surprises, not all of them happy ones, are in store, to include one enormous secret Jimmy keeps until it all blows up. Will this unraveling bind them tighter together, or scatter them to the four winds as they set sail on these exciting evolutions in their lives?

'Lucas X. Black is a lifelong dominant living in southern Texas, where he is engaged as a full-time writer. He is formerly a paramedic of many long years’ experience, and often incorporates that knowledge base into his writing. Away from home, he enjoys spicy and exotic foods, loves to fish, and loves going to the movies. In his home, behind the closed doors of his dungeon, he is a sadist and humorist, in love with eliciting a range of sensation and reaction from his oh, so willing victims …' to 'I have been a writer for a number of years, finally branching out into publishing. I grew up in Texas, where much of what I write happens. I've been a R/L dom for almost a quarter century now. I've always liked writing, entering new vistas my mind affords. Life makes us the men and women we are, and I often (changing names to protect not so much the innocent but the delightfully sinful) dip into my life's experiences for the fiction I will be providing you. I loved Dan and Jill Kimball. But I think I loved Lori and Jimmy even more. All of the supporting characters had their own role to play in forming their extended family. A reader can easily get a feel for the intensity of the relationship between Master/Mistress and slave, and the kinship each slave feels toward each of their ‘brothers’ or ‘sisters’ slaves. I loved that the characters are just like you and me, and even one character for whom a poly relationship wasn’t quite a good fit.

Lucas Black is one of my go-to authors. I’m pretty sure I’ve got just about every book he’s written. Lucas has the knack of drawing the reader into the story. There have been a few of his books that have pulled on my emotions, and this one is no exception. You, as a reader, invest so much into the characters as you turn each page and get to know more and more about them, that when something happens to them, you feel like it’s happening to you or one of your own family members.

Be ready for your heart to break. By the time you finish Honor, you’ll feel like you’ve been put through the ringer and come out the other end a bedraggled mess.

In all the books that I have read, I have learned that a good book has to have certain qualities to it to make it that way. Honor by Lucas X. Black far exceeded all of those. This book was an emotional roller coaster. Every character in this book was written with such detail that it feels as if I lived there in the town and knew them all for years. I laughed, I cried, and I wanted to toss my kindle but in the end, this book left me with a book hangover. Just a nice reminder have tissues handy you will need them.
Lucas X. Black is a legendary wordsmith in my opinion. His writing flows smoothly and in no time at all you're hooked, the next thing you know is that you have been up all night reading as you turn that last page wishing there was more. I highly recommend this book and others written by Lucas X. Black.

It started out simple with Dan and Jill being dominants and sharing Lori their submissive, Jill is contacted by Jimmy, he wants to submit to them, be owned by them.
They all feel the same about Jimmy and decide to go ahead with what he wanted.
What they have works for everyone, Jimmy makes it clear he wants to be owned and enslaved, so much that if Dan, Jill or Lori weren’t happy he would walk away leaving them his wealth.
Without spoilers what follows is you take each step with the characters through the story of Love, meeting others with similar lifestyles, increasing their family and learn about honor. With punishment, heartache and love, they only grow closer as a family.
The characters draw you into their world and a book you won’t be able to put down.

Become easily attached to the Kimball Tribe and their friends. The writer makes you fall in love with these realistic characters. Journey with Jimmy on his path to becoming the man he desires to be. Watch Dan & Jill grow into the Masters they were meant to be. Live through their eyes, laugh and cry with them. Learn these proclivities are not just for the rich or the young. The writing flows well and keeps your attention. I promise you this book leaves no stone unturned. It will brand you for life in honor of service and mastery. Love is an amazing thing no matter the form.
