Exactor- noun, \ig- zak-ter\ Mercenaries. Contractors hired by the Jasian Enclave, but hold no such religious or political affiliations to it. Wetwork, theft, espionage, and sabotage. You use an Exactor. Political extractions, humanitarian missions, exorcisms... You use an Exactor.

They are a collection of eclectic personalities with such diversley unique skill sets that the Church has no choice but to utilize them. Exactors are morally gray areas. They allow the Jasian Enclave the leverage necessary to use that which it publicly abstains from. Should an Exactor be seen, or caught, the Church can and will deny any such affiliation. The Exactor will be left to their own fate, or worse, if they are caught, will become the next target...

Within these pages, are two novellas, and two short stories, from two different authors, that tell tales in direct relation to Exactors and their role in the theocratic sovereignty known as the Jasian Enclave. Be not fooled by their name, for the Enclave is anything but small, and they wield the power to topple nations...

We are the Exactors.
