The Storm #4

Finding Storm

Rate this book
The son of an icon.

He was a legend. Rock royalty.

A man I never met.

But I’m measured against him in every aspect of my life.

The only time I feel like me … the real me … is when I’m onstage with my band. But the more we grow in popularity, the more people compare me to him.

I’m not him. And I never will be. If only everyone could figure that out for themselves.

I need a break from it all.

Then, a confrontation has me jumping in my car, putting LA in my rearview mirror. And a stupid mistake ends up with my car on the side of the road. And straight into the path of a girl who is the exact opposite of everyone else in my life.

She’s like everything I used to know.

And she has no clue who I am.

Even if she did, I don’t think she’d care.

She thinks I’m cavalier.

I think she’s intriguing. And hot. Let’s not forget hot.

I’m stuck in this town overnight while my car is being fixed. But I’m thinking I’m gonna stick around a bit longer.

I’m Storm Slater, lead guitarist in Slater Raze and the only child of the late, great Jonny Creed. But, here, right now … I’m nobody. Just a regular guy.

I’m liking it a whole lot.

And I’m liking her even more.

WRITING UPDATE:

I grab the only gas nozzle on this pump, and stick it in the gas cap. It’s a tight fit. I have to give it a good shove to get it in.
Basically like when I’m fucking a woman with my big dick.
Child that I am, I chuckle to myself.

It felt great to be back into TMS world. Storm Slater is a character I’ve been curious about ever since he was introduced in the earlier books. He’s the only child of Jonny Creed and now he’s all grown up and the lead guitarist of his own band, Slater Raze.

Storm is in a popular band, has a great family and friends, but he’s bored with his life. Something is just… off. When he’s doing an interview and gets some shocking news, he takes off. He ends up driving his car across state lines and ends up in Arizona. Where his car promptly breaks down leaving him stranded.

Stevie Cavalli helps run her family’s B&B and occasionally helps out with her dad and brother’s auto shop. When they get a call for a tow, she is asked to help and goes. She sees Storm and sparks fly between them. Stevie adores 80’s music and has no clue who Storm is. She just knows he’s good looking and drives a nice car. Storm is relieved to meet someone who doesn’t know him and treats him like a normal guy. These two really hit it off.

While Storm’s car is getting fixed, he stays at the B&B. He and Stevie connect in a way he's never connected with anyone. She feels it too. Sooner or later Storm will have to get back to his life and face everything going on in LA, but for now, he’s happy to be where Stevie is.
I don’t think I’ll ever get close enough to Stevie. I want to be inside of her in every way that matters. Inside of her the way she’s inside me. She’s under my skin. It’s crazy. I’ve never felt the way I do with her or about her ever before.

My favorite thing about this book was Stevie. She was the most fun heroine I’ve read in the longest time. I got a kick out of her. I loved her relationship with her family, how she treated Storm before and after knowing who he was, and how she was genuinely and unabashedly herself. At the start I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about this book, but then Stevie showed up and from there, it was perfect. I loved Storm, too. He had a broody/damaged vibe early on, but Stevie lighted him up and was exactly the girl he needed.

This was such a sweet and romantic book. It was also fun, sexy, and made me laugh more than once. I love Samantha Towle’s writing and I can't get enough of these boys! I hope we get more books from this new band, because I definitely want to know more about Storm’s friends!

*****FIVE STARS*****
{ARC Generously Provided by Author}

My hands are in her hair. Then, down to her back. Going lower, grasping her thighs as I urge her to wrap her legs around me so I can her even closer. Even though I don’t think I’ll ever get close enough to Stevie. I want to be inside of her in every way that matters. Inside of her the way she’s inside me. She’s under my skin.

To say I was over the moon excited when I heard Samantha Towle was writing another installment in ”The Storm” series is an understatement. Jake and Tru will always have a special place in my heart, and now another couple in the series has won my affections as well. I hope that readers are going to adore Storm and Stevie almost as much as I do!! Their story gave me all the feels! I’ve still got those butterflies as I replay their story in my head!!

Storm Slater is the long-lost son of the late Jonny Creed—guitarist of TMS. He’s the lead guitarist in his band, Slater Raze. Always living in the shadow of his deceased famous father. When the story starts, Storm is everything you’d expect a self-indulgent bad boy rock & roll God to be. I was not finding him to be the least bit appealing, but then he’s dealt a heartbreaking blow when a long-kept secret is revealed. Feeling lost and betrayed, he gets in his car and drives without a destination in mind, just to get away from the people who hurt him the most. His car ends up breaking down in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. It is in this beautiful vacation town that he meets the utterly beguiling and vivacious Stevie Cavalli. Her father owns the local auto repair shop and she co-runs the family B&B with her gran. From the moment she enters the story I was smitten. This twenty-four-year-old girl who has an adorable obsession with 80s music and movies and abhors littering had instantly become one of my top favorite heroines created by Samantha Towle.

Stevie casts an instant spell over Storm. Since she only listens to 80s music, she has no idea who Storm is. She is a breath of fresh air to him. He’s loving the freedom he feels whenever he’s with Stevie. This love bubble that they find themselves in has an impending expiration date. Los Angeles is Storm’s home and he has obligations to his band and record label. Lake Havasu is where Stevie’s family lives and there’s no way she can leave. Will Storm be able to let go of the one woman who has brought him more happiness than he’s ever experienced in his entire life?

Here are my overall ratings:

Hero: 4.5
Heroine: 5++++
Plot: 5
Angst: 4
Steam: 5
Chemistry Between Hero & Heroine: 5+++++

”FINDING STORM” releases on September 6th! Samantha Towle fans will not be disappointed! I’m so happy the author has breathed new life into one of my most cherished series!!

Finding-Storm-gif
24-year-old Storm is the son of Johnny Creed, the legendary guitarist from the "Mighty Storm", but he is also a talented guitarist and a member of his own rock band. 🎸
Although he never got to know his father, who was killed in a terrible tragedy, Johnny's shadow haunts him - because everyone constantly compares them. 😱
As a famous rock star, his life supposed to be amazing, but he feels like something is missing.
He has only one true love...

📚 "My girl.
My one and only.
She is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
I knew it the second I saw her that I had to have her.
It was love at first sight.
My gorgeous, sexy-as-sin Maserati GranTurismo Sport." 📚

In an interview from hell, Storm discovers a secret related to his father's death, one that everyone he trusted knew and hid from him. Angry as hell, he gets in his car and doesn't stop until it breaks down in a town in Arizona. 💙
Storm was surprised to find that the tow driver that comes to help him is a blonde hair, witty mouth woman, that says everything she thinks, only listens to 80s music... and has no idea who he is. 💃

📚 "Seriously, God, at least you've given me a heads-up that I was coming to tow a car that belongs to Thor and Captain Marvel's love child." 📚

Born and raised in Arizona, Stevie runs a B&B with her grandma and helps her mechanic brother and father. She's also the most awesome female character I have ever read about - and I want a best friend just like her!!! 🎉
Not only does she has a huge heart and great taste in music - she's insanely funny! Their conversations made me laugh so hard that I couldn't drink or eat during the reading, because I was afraid I would suffocate to death! 😂😂😂

Stevie is different from the girls in LA... She's intriguing, funny and genuine. Thanks to her, Storm finds himself having fun - and he's not ready to give that up, so he decides to stay... But what happens when Stevie finds out who he really is...? And what will happen when Storm returns to his real life? 😱

📚 “When I started driving that day, I thought I was running away from all the stuff I deal with,” he says quietly to me. “Turns out, I knew jack shit. I was driving straight to you, Stevie." 📚

First, if you love 80s music, this book is the BOMB!!! The first thing I did after I finished it, was to download it's awesome playlist. 💃🎵🎉

The name of the book fits perfectly- It's a story about self-seeking, friendship, family and love. ❤
I liked that although it's an Insta-Love, the romance and intimacy developed slowly and reliably and unlike Jake and Tom's "bed boy" vibes, Storm turned out to be a refreshing surprise - he was gentle and sensitive. 😍

What I didn't like was the multiple descriptions. While it didn't bother me too much, it made the plot slower. for example: "Finishing in the shower, I turn it off and wrap a towel around my waist. I brush my teeth. When done, I dry off, leaving the towel in the bathroom." - Dude, who cares where you leave your towel...? 😂
Also, I was left with an open question about after the infuriating discovery- what happend with that journalist...?

Even so, this book was exactly what I needed!!! Storm and Stevie were the perfect couple! The plot was romantic, witty and funny about a hot rock star that doesn't fall into the cliches that fit the usual tatted rock band member, but a lost man who is looking for a purpose- and the woman who conquer his heart. 😍❤

So if you want to fall in love, I highly recommend this book!!! 💙

5 “Happy” Stars

This story was perfect. The right mix of sass, laughs, sweetness and The Mighty Storm. I can’t lie, I was down right giddy when I heard this author was going back into TMS land. The Storm series is one of my all time favorite series. Jake and Tru Wethers, Tom Carter, Denny Dale and their cameos made my heart sing. But this story is about Storm Slater, the late Jonny Creed’s son, the best ever guitar player of The Mighty Storm, who died way too young.

Storm is adorable, sexy, and close to being burnt out at 24 yrs of age. His band, Slater Raze, is on top of the charts and his band mates(Raze, Cash and Levi) are like brothers to him. But when Storm learns news that was kept from him, Storm just needs to drive and clear his head and his anger. What he didn’t realize is that it was going to lead him to Stevie Cavalli. She is sweetly naive with a dose of sass. She has no idea who Storm is and treats him like he’s a nobody. Except that he’s a sexy, good looking, rockstar, nice nobody. And Storm and Stevie begin a friendship that eventually leads to more. I will say that Stevie’s family and best friend Penny were a fun addition to this story. I hope that Penny will be getting a book soon with a certain lead singer of Slater Raze.

So......Storm and Stevie are pure bliss and their banter is absolutely perfect. The author nails their relationship in my opinion. Stevie is a great heroine who keeps Storm on his toes. The give and take between them is seamless. Their courtship is fast but when you meet the right person, the heart just knows.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story and it kept a smile and a smirk on my face during the whole read. It was nostalgic seeing old characters of The Storm Series and it was also exciting getting to know the next generation of rockers. A sweet, delicious, wonderful, read.

We all remember Storm. He's the adopted son of Jake and Tru Wethers. The biological son of Jake's dead band mate Jonny.

He's all grown up now. Well, he's 24. But he feels like a 50 year old burned-out rocker.

His band is huge. They have fans. Groupies. All the alcohol and drugs they could ever want. But he doesn't want that all anymore. He just wants to make music. And he doesn't want to be reminded of his über-amazing dad all the time. He never even met the guy! Why can't people stop comparing him to Jonny?! And it gets even worse when he finds out what really happened the night Jonny died.

Storm needs to get out of LA!

Enter Stevie. She lives a happy and quiet life working with her gran at their B&B in Lake Havasu, Arizona. She doesn't know who Storm is - and he LOVES that.

But Storm can't hide away in Arizona forever - he needs to get back home eventually ....

What will happen with Storm & Stevie?
Will there be a HEA?
READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT! ☺

ROCK STAR ROMANCE!!
EEEEP!

I'm such a huge rock star romance groupie!

description

And this was very rock starish at the beginning. We see how Storm doesn't love that life anymore. He hates the whole drugs and groupies stuff. And I didn't really love him in the beginning. He was a bit immature for the first 15/20% of the book. He goes about his rock star life. Constantly complaining how hard and boring it all is. How he hates everything. Especially how everyone only cares about him because of his dad and I really hated how he sounded so spoiled! Even the writing in the beginning was a bit different/unlikeable. Short sentences, only describing things, like bam bam bam....

But once that thing with the journalist happens, and he drives out of LA it got so much better. Suddenly he was so adorable! And once he met Stevie it was all just so sweet and cute and funny.

So much easier for the poor rich kid. Stevie only cares about 80's music. She never heard of him or his dad. It's so adorable to see how he loves that. He never had that in the last decade.

I really adored those Arizona moments.

But of course he can't stay there forever. He needs to get back in the studio with his guys. They have an album to record. He can't let his best friends down.

Will Stevie come with him? Her whole life is in that cute town. She's not an LA girl.

I loved the book. It was so adorably sweet and funny! Stevie is just hilarious! She's soo perfect for Storm. And her grandma is the best grandma ever!!! LOL!

For a rock star romance ... I missed the sexiness a bit. It's a bit too slow between Stevie and Storm - or maybe the beginning of the book took too long. He should've been in Arizona sooner.

I sometimes had the feeling that whole chapters and scenes were cut by the editor. There are a few little holes in the story here and there. It should've been a bit longer. I needed more of so many things and moments....

Another tiny little thing. The cover. It's a hot rocker guy - but it's not a 24 year old Storm. It's more of a 39 year old whoever.☺

BUT - I still really loved reading the book!!

FINDING STORM was an adorable & funny & heartbreaking rock-star-hides-in-a-small-town romance. Run to your nearest amazon for your own Storm - this one is MINE!!! ☺

...also ...we OBVIOUSLY now need books about the other guys in Storm's band too!

I think my poor phone got a std from reading about this waste of book-human space.
Disgusting POS. 🤮🤢🤮🤢
I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets a groupie pregnant just like his father did. He was the result of that.
Waste of book-human space does not only drink, he does drugs and fucks groupies sometimes even in threesomes, he had sex not only once but twice in the same night and not with the same woman. And to top it off, one of his band mates recorded him fucking the two women and is passing the “sex tape” between all the band mates through group text messages.

Now excuse me while I go bleach, Lysol and disinfect my poor phone. I’ll be doing this while Im wearing protective gloves.

The book is safe apart from the threesome and the twosome he had in the first chapter. But the fact that she lets him fuck her without any protection after knowing him for a couple of days worries me that this woman is reckless with her sex life. She doesn’t know if he caught something from these two women. Sure he used condoms because he saw the wrappers laying on the floor but he was drunk who’s the say that he forgot to put one on and he doesn’t remember that he did?
And the stupid woman is all happy and her heart flutters because she’s the first woman he goes without using a condom.
God how stupid do authors think we women are in RL? And then after “making” love because he did not fucked her ladies and gentlemen he leaves her like a ONS without saying good bye and he goes back to LA.

From one of his ONS in the first chapter.

“I’ve heard things about you … good things. My friend Mel said you have a magical tongue.” That does make me laugh. So, I’ve banged her friend. Not surprising. I’ve screwed a lot of women.”

“I snuck out on Stevie just like I used to with all those girls I’d screwed and not wanted to have the morning-after conversation with. I treated her exactly like I had those girls.”

The man was just stupid. I guess all that booze, drugs and ONS mess with the little bit of brain cells he had if he had any. Because his friends were the ones who gave him advice on how to get his girl. The man was rich and he couldn’t commute to LA, it was only 4 freaking hours by car, 1 hour on a plane. He said that it was impossible for him to be with the heroine because she didn’t want to follow his ass home.

Safety:
Walking STD whore.
Almost nun heroine. 1 boyfriend. And he cheated on her. Figures! We can’t have heroines with a good love life because that would make them losers.
He encounters one of his ONS who he had forgotten her name. One of the too many girls he had slept with. She called him an asshole but that’s about it from OW drama. This was before he met his sweetheart. The woman who would change his world. The first woman he would make “love” to.
And let’s not forget the threesome and twosome in the first chapter.

Miss Towle is my go to author. So far I do like her books. I never read the other books in this series. Finding Storm actually can be read as stand alone. It is a very sassy book.

There is a lot of cute, sassy, non stop banter between Storm and Stevie. With a nod to 80's music, I am sold. Not that I am an expert in music. Usually Miss Towle is more angst and drama kind of writer. I guess this is her takes on rom com.

The drama is minimal. But again it is pack with so much goofy and dorkiness. I enjoy this book very much.

The Mighty Storm was one of the first contemporary romance series that I read and I was hooked from the get-go. Obviously that made Finding Storm an auto-read for me.

And I LOVED being back in the world...even though Jake and the guys were in the story, they didn't dominate it. Oh no, that was all Storm. He really is something else.

Something was brought to the fore front and Storm is having to deal with everything that entailed. He goes for a drive and doesn't stop until he gets to Arizona. That's where he meets Stevie and she's nothing like he's ever seen.

Stevie was a breath of fresh air. I loved how honest she was and her love of the eighties was hilarious. Most importantly, it was great that she had no clue who Storm was and when she found it, it didn't change her opinion of him one bit.

I quite enjoyed their romance...it was sweet and interesting but more importantly was how they managed to work things out. My only issue is that I wanted more angst. (as usual)

The story is set up for possible future romances - which all sound really good. I'd especially like one for Stevie's brother.

Stevie is just brilliant !!!

Free Image Hosting at FunkyIMG.com

I luvd this book !! It was sooo good. I've been dying for this book since it was announced. I'd do anything to get more from this series. Even a ring but it Jake and Tru and I'm happy. But I have to say even if this book didn't have them in it it would still be amazing. Storm and Stevie are just brilliant characters. They are so different but fit perfectly together.

Free Image Hosting at FunkyIMG.com

Storm where do I start this guy just breaks my breaks my heart. Living in the shoes of your dad the legendary Jonny Creed is hard but trying to live up to a guy you have never met is even harder never mind that he is your dad. Storm lives this life every day. Being compared to one of the most talented bass players ever isn't easy. Everyday him playing with his band Slater Raze he get compared to Jonny Creed. I'm a way he gets used to it but when he finds out a secret that has been kept from him. Storm has had enough he never thought the people close to him would hurt him the business is already taking loads out of him and he's only young. But he won't turn out like Jonny Storm will do whatever it takes to not be compared to his dad.

Free Image Hosting at FunkyIMG.com

Stevie she is just amazing I luv her luv for 80s music and her crazy sense of humour. The way she treats Storm is brilliant it doesn't matter who he is she just treats him the same. I really liked the banter they had between each other it was so funny at times. Storm is very sexy with the lickable abs but that didn't matter to Stevie or that he was famous he was just a normal well rich guy. Stevie is the normal girl that Storm would go for But there chemistry was smoking from the very start. They didn't meet under normal circumstances but still there first meet was just brilliant and Stvie just made it better with her nutty questions and come backs. Storm need a woman to keep him in his toes and she was that woman. Storm needed someone like her to ground him she would take his crap she didn't want his fame or money. She just wanted the guy she has come to know.

Free Image Hosting at FunkyIMG.com

I really can't recommend this book enough I really enjoy it. I'm a big fan of this author and series so I knew I didn't have to worry about the book there alway great. It was just waiting for it that killed me. But it really was worth the wait and the teasing. Storm and Stevie are perfect characters to add to this series. Like I said there so different but I luvd seeing the change in Storm. He was so cocky and sure if himself but there was this lil part of him that he doubted. Was his good enough did he have what it took. Even thought he had the best people around him it took meeting Stevie that give him the confidences. I really do luv them together there so hot together the sexual tension was crazy from there first met it was great to see them getting to together. I really hope this isn't the end of this I would books from the other characters. Pen Stevies bestie is great and so are the other members from Slater Raze they are great characters I need more from them. They are crazy and so funny I would luv more. Plus Raze had a moment in the book that I would like to know more about so fingers crossed there is more.

4 FINDING HOME CROWNS

I’m not sure what I was really expecting with Finding Storm, but it certainly wasn’t the sweet romance I got. Is that bad? Not at all. Storm and Stevie are endearingly sweet and so is their story.

For lovers of the series, we know Storm (and if you don’t know the series, no worries, the author gives the background info you need). The conflicts and issues he faces aren’t surprising for his background or the rockstar romance trope. I did like him, and I was invested enough in him to want to see him get his HEA.

Stevie was the breath of fresh air. I liked her whole personality, how she was with Storm and her family. She really brought the book to life.

The two of them together had it all, the physical and the emotional chemistry, and so I was really satisfied with that part of the story. I just wish the story would have held a bit more of the unexpected when it comes the storyline.

I did live for the moments with TMS, and I’m fully invested in the Storm’s band mates. So much so, that I wouldn’t mind seeing what shenanigans they get up to.

Lovers of the series will devour Finding Storm, and newbies will find a sweet and enjoyable rockstar romance. Definitely worth a read for each group.

If you are a fan of The Mighty Storm series you are gonna love this! This story is all about Storm, the son of Jonny Creed, adopted son of Jake & Tru.

‘Your children will follow in the footsteps that you leave for them.’ - this could not be more true for Storm Slater. He has pretty much mirrored his father’s career. Lead guitarist in a successful rock band and all the perks that come with it - sex, booze and drugs. Lately though, Storm has been feeling disheartened. The rock and roll lifestyle is just not doing it for him anymore and he feels a bit trapped.

After a revealing encounter with a journalist has him spinning out and questioning everything and everyone he has trusted in his close family circle, Storm literally gets into his car and simply drives off into the sunset leaving LA in the rear window. Well he gets as far as Arizona before his beloved Maserati decides to spit the dummy on him. This is how he meets Stevie.

Stevie is a small town girl, working with her Gran at their family owned B&B and occasionally helping out her brother at his garage - towing people who have broken down. She loves 80’s music, hanging out with her best friend and that’s about all there is to do at Lake Havasu. When she reluctantly agrees to rescue yet another stranded driver she had no idea who she was about to meet.

Storm is very keen to keep as anonymous as possible and is pleasantly surprised that the girl rescuing him has absolutely no idea who he is. After lecturing him about the environmental effects of used smoke butts he decides that he likes this girl. It has been so long since he met someone who wasn’t fawning over him because of his fame and what they could get out of him for themselves. Stevie is like no girl he has ever met before, she has this confidence about her and isn’t afraid to speak her mind around him which is so refreshing and unexpected.

‘Some women think that men want the fantasy when all we really want is reality. An honest to God real woman. And Stevie is reality. She’s quirky. She’s fun. She’s a breath of fresh fucking air.’

Stevie thought either it was a mirage or her mind was playing tricks on her when she first laid eyes on Nick. Could this gorgeous, tattooed, ab-ridden man really be standing in the main street of her town? Seriously, how hot can one person be?! There is only one thing about him she isn’t really fond of and that is his taste in music. Doesn’t anyone have respect for the hits of the 80’s the ultimate decade of music anymore?

‘Like if his hotness were a temperature right now, we’d be in the upper kelvins. Dude is sun hot. I have honestly never in all my life seen a guy who looks like him before. Of course I’ve seen hot guys before. But this guy, he’s on a whole other level, all his own.’

As soon as Storm (Nick) walks through the front door of the B&B he leaves all his baggage at the front door. He has such a strong feeling of being home, which is a surreal seeing as he has never been there before. Spending time with Stevie is something he wasn’t looking for but everything he needed. He hasn’t felt this free and happy for such a long time. His life in LA may be in turmoil but in this sleepy town he is simply Nick. Maybe you have to get lost to find yourself...

Things are heating up between Nick and Stevie. Their easy friendship quickly turns into lustful fun between the bedsheets, in the car, on a boat… you get the idea. Nick feels like this is the girl he has been waiting for his whole life. He is also aware that the bubble will eventually pop. When his real life comes knocking on the door will he walk through it and will Stevie go with him?

‘I don’t know when this happened or how it happened. All I do know is that I want more from her. I want all of her. I don’t want just one night with Stevie. I want all her nights.’

I could not put this book down, it was low angst and filled with so many heart warming, sweet moments. I am hoping this is just the beginning of future stories about Slater Raze.

‘Where have you been all my life?’ The words are out before I can stop them.’

‘Right here,’ she says softly, her eyes lifting back to mine. ‘I’ve been right here.’

ARC received for an honest review

Before I started reading Finding Storm, I asked myself "do I really need more in the TMS world? Weren't the boys stories enough?"

Nope, they weren't. I didn't know I needed Storm's (remember him, Jake and Tru adopted him when his dad/Jake's band mate died) story until I was reading it.

For a rock star book, this really is a slow burn of a story. Our boy is feeling jaded by the life style, and whilst you expect him to be all wham bam thank you ma'am with the groupies, he isn't.

He was a bit childish the first probably 20% of the book (I mean, yeah, he is only 24), but as his story moved along, I could feel the growth in his character. I loved that he didn't just expect everyone and everything to happen at the snap of a finger.

His girl is just fabulous. I love her and her 80's music loving heart. I love that she doesn't go for any of his rockstar BS. I love the love she has for her family. Gah, she is just the best!

I loved seeing Jake and Tru and their family, Denny and Tom and all The Mighty Storm crew again.

I wanted more of this story. So much more.

4-⭐️

"In the shortest of times, you’ve come to mean more to me than anyone ever has before."*sighs*

When Sam started leaving posts with "A STORM IS COMING" I was like holy freaking shit. I honestly thought in the beginning it was another Jake & Tru story. But I knew we'd had their amazing story so it couldnt be about them. I thought about two more people it could be about and when she finally told us who the story would be about I was like yessss "STORM!!"

OH MY WORD!!!! I know this gets said about all the books I read from Sam but it tops them all.

Storm & Stevie's book was so amazing. I freaking love the both of them so much! I've always loved Jake & Tru but Storm & Stevie have taken them off the #1 spot. I know I never thought I'd say those words but I have and I dont have any regrets. Not a single one lol.

Storm was just perfection with a capital P. He's 24 years old and is in a very successful band called Slater Raze. But he starts to feel like something is missing in his life. After an interview goes very horribly wrong and a secret is unvailed he's so angry with the people he loves and cares about the most he just has to get away from everything.

Which leads him to Arizona..

Stevie is just the freaking best. I want to be her when I grow up. She made me laugh with the things she comes out with. She's also 24 years old and works at a B&B that her Gran owns and lives there with her Dad, Brother and Gran. She loves her 80's music(well that era of music was cheesy but amazing lol) and she isnt affraid to tell people she loves it.

The day is like every other day then she gets a call off her brother asking if she can help him out by going to tow a car because he's really busy and when she gets to the broken down car. Well Stevie & Storm's story starts...

Just trust me on this one ok.. It's such an amazing story.

I laughed alot, snorted at one part to which I nearly chocked because it was so funny. I then cried happy and sad tears.

Oh Stevie's Gran and the mention of Whipped Cream.. hahaha oh how I laughed.

Well done Sam on another amazing book xx

3.75 80’s Music Stars

I was super curious about how Storm, grew up, and evolved after the last book. In this series, I liked his character and how he was searching for something real. He sure found it in Stevie, she was refreshing, and as real as they come.

I’d like to see the other guys in Storm’s band “Slater Raze,” get books too.

The door flies open, banging against the plasterboard wall.
“Motherfuckers!”
It’s Cash.
“What the fuck are you two pussies doing in here? Braiding each other’s hair?”
I flip him off, and he just laughs.
“Greenroom. Now. There’s pussy waiting to be signed.”
That raises my brow. “Signed?”
“Sorry.” Cash grins. “I meant, fucked.”

I spot a tall dude leaning up against the hood, faced away from me.
Flicking on my blinker, I pull the tow truck up in front of the Maserati.
Turning off the engine, I open the door, jump out of the truck, and head over to the guy.
Lifting his ass off the hood, he straightens up, and—
Well.
Oh.
Wow.
He’s tall. A lot taller than me. I come in at an average five feet four. This guy must be six-two, six-three at least. About the same height as Dad and Beck.
And he’s hot.
Super hot.
Like if his hotness were a temperature right now, we’d be in the upper kelvins.
Dude is sun hot.
I have honestly never in all my life seen a guy who looks like him before.
Of course I’ve seen hot guys before.
But this guy, he’s on a whole other level, all his own.

Basically, if hotness had a smell, his would be Chanel No. 5.
Mine would be store-bought body spray. The dollar-store kind.

My ex was the only guy I’ve ever been with. We’d been together since high school. Hell, I thought I was going to marry the guy. And look how that turned out.
I’m a shitty judge of character when it comes to men.
And I’m really not interested in having my heart broken again, thank you very much.
Once was enough for me.
I’m as single as a Pringle. This girl definitely does not need to mingle.

I have the urge to smoke. My fingers twitch around the pack in my pocket. But I don’t want to piss her off.
Although pissing her off does sound quite entertaining.
“You mind if I smoke?” I ask.
“I don’t mind. But the months of life you’ll take off my lungs will. And the fish that your cigarette butt will kill does too. He minds a lot. But by all means, smoke.”
I grin.
Is it weird that I get off on her chiding me?
I have issues. I know.
“How do you know it’d be a he?”
“Who?”
“The fish. It could be a she,” I tease.
“Even worse then because she might be pregnant with fish babies, and you’d murder all those innocent babies too. How do you sleep at night?”

SERIE THE STORM vol. 4

No mi dispiace non ci sto.

Poprio no.

Pure fucking magic!

Every time Samantha Towle writes a new book I feel pure freaking joy and excited anticipation. I know before I even read the synopsis that her story will be written flawlessly and executed beautifully. I know I will laugh out loud, cry and fall in love. And Finding Storm was no exception.

I loved every single word of this book and I didn’t want it to end ❤️

Stevie is a fucking riot, she’s so damn fun and sweet and just a beautiful person. Her family just made the book even more amazing.
And Storm melted my heart more and more with every page!

Seeing Jake, Tru and the gang was amazing 😍

I don’t have a single bad word to say. Honestly. As I said above, pure magic ❤️

“I was driving straight toward you, Stevie. And even if I never see you again after today, I’ll never regret it. Never. You’re the best fucking thing that’s ever happened to me.”

***

“Come on!” I bang my palm on the steering wheel. “You got this. I wanna hear you sing!”
And sing he does. And he’s really fucking good.’

***

‘I’m laughing so hard. My eyes are watering from it. “Okay, here it is … I hear you’re looking for a stud. Well, I’ve got the S-T-D, and all I need is you.”
“Fucking hell,” I choke out.’ 😂😂

***

“I fucking love you, Stevie. Like the crazy kind of love. The love that people like me write songs about.”

Wow! It's raining stars lately! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
It was a fun book. The hero was great, but the heroine stole the show.
She was the funiest, strongest, sweetest, realest person I have read in a book in a really long time.
I hope there are going to be books for all the band!

Play Boy (The Storm Series Vol. 5)<br />by Samantha Towle

LOVED this couple! Especially loved Stevie. She is one of the BEST female characters I have read in a very long time. I just couldn’t understand why it took them so long to figure out the solution that was staring them in the face. :)

3.5 stelle!
