Don’t miss out on the exciting conclusion to the Camos and Cupcakes series from USA Today bestselling author Melissa Schroeder.
Hey, there. Fritz O’Bryan at your service, the only remaining single guy in the Camos and Cupcakes shop. My friends call me a player, and I try to live up to their expectations. I mean, the women of San Antonio are relying on me to save them from boredom.
That is until I find myself practically homeless thanks to my jerk of a cat. The last person I expect to save me is world class chef Savannah Martinez. With the temperament of a Hell’s Kitchen reject, she’s the kind of woman I usually avoid. Still, beggars can’t be choosers, so I take her up on her offer.
The thing is it doesn't take long to discover that prickly woman is kind of sweet. She shows me time and again that she does have a softer side, one that I definitely want to get to know. And when her world implodes, I’m more than happy to be the soft place for her to fall.
Losing my heart to her was never in my plans. Now that it’s happened, I have to convince her that I not only know how to play the game, but I know how to win her heart.
Warning: This book includes more cupcakes (of course), a trip to the altar for Ginger Jesus and his Sunshine, more time with EJ’s Gran, a bachelorette party, drunken reveals, and a turn on the dance floor that leaves the hero…floored. This seduction is slow and easy and…well, let’s not get into that too much. This might be the last of the Camos and Cupcakes guys, but it isn’t the last trip into their world, so don’t cry, just be happy. Oh, did I mention...CUPCAKES?!
Like many this was my favorite book in the camos and cupcakes trilogy. The story was well written and the jokes were non stop. It was such a joy to see how all our previous characters grow and watch this duo fall in love.
They are the most unlikely duo in the bunch but you get to see their true colors in this book. It was such a joy to read I also listened in audio. I have grown to love this authors writing style and I can’t wait to check out the Duo that is set in this same world.

4.5 stars Fitz and Savannah now of each other, they're friends are engaged after all but they've never interacted really. Sort of slow-paced as is not fiery romance from the start but it's a story that's gonna draw you in.

Now this is one story that actually made me yearn! I want a life like that even with the heartache. To have friends that supportive is worth its weight in gold. What an amazing series!

“Yeah. They don’t see you for the wonderful, caring person you are. I have a feeling Tito and your grandmother had more to do with that than your mother.”
My rating range of this story... If significant, why? 4 - 5 Stars
Main Character Ratings... H = 8/10 h = 8/10
Narrator Rating(s) M = 6/10 F = 7/10 If below 5/10,why?

The back story... The H, a lifetime good guy and ladies man aka a very nice manwhore, gets evicted from his apartment after taking in his grandmother's cat. A friend in common has a house and allows him and the cat to stay with her since she is rarely there due to work. They both like each other but won't act on any attraction... Ummm!
The Romance... Because of his reputation, the H makes a great effort to treat the h with respect and not as an object. They really get to know each other and that connection builds solid chemistry.
The drama explosion... The H gets upset about a family situation and lightly overreacts. The h also overreacts. Did it feel Real, OK or contrived? Real Was it OTT? No Separation involved? Minimal Was it resolved properly or rushed? Properly
Final Notes... I thoroughly enjoyed this story from start to finish, even with the heavy angst and internal monologs. The story had a grit to it that many don't have which is refreshing. The mother was a wee bit over the top but the rest of the story makes up for it. It also shows that you don't always know what someone thinks of you, especially if you avoid talking to them.
Wow. I have been waiting on the story about Fritz and Savannah. I suspected from the first book in this series that they would get together, but after reading the story about EJ and Harry, I was certain of it. I am so glad that I was right. Of course I am ready for a story for Syd and a story for Travis and I would like a story about Austin and I could probably go on and on, so I will just make myself stop right here. So. Savannah and Fritz.... she is so tough, so strong and so independent but she rips your heart out when you really think about her and get to know her. I love the other two stories but I think Savannah has been my favorite. Fritz is just perfect. You know, he is the perfect big brother that translates into the perfect hero. From pretty boy man-whore to lovesick softy. I think I knew from the beginning of the stories that he would turn out to be my favorite and to say that Savannah and Fritz fit together and are just perfect is just so much of an understatement. I love their chemistry which is just off the charts. I love their banter and their interaction and their ebb and flow. I love that the drama was so small and did not linger and fester. I love the Camos and Cupcakes world. I love Mr. and Ms. B and I love that Fritz has such a perfect family, mom and dad and the sisters. I would like to get a book about Avery and Liv, oh my world a story about Liv would really be amazing. I love Grannie Pam. I love EJ's grandma. This is just really an absolutely amazingly perfect book. The writing is superb as usual. The underlying storyline is believable, real and has meaning.

I've been excited to see how Melissa was going to finish the Camos & Cupcakes series, specifically how she was going to get ladies man Fritz & over-worked sarcastic Savannah (who happens to still have her V Card) together. Oh she found a way and it was better then I ever could have expected!
This romantic comedy had some supporting characters that kept me laughing the whole time, General McLovin is the grumpy cat who steals the show and only likes the ladies. Then you have some older ladies that call it like they see it, Grannie Pam and EJ's Gram. Older woman who've lost their brain/mouth filter tend to say whatever they are thinking....leads to come great times!
You really learn all lot about who Fritz and Savannah really are in this book, they aren't who you think they are based on previous books in the series...they will surprise you and you'll be left cheering for their HEA.
I'm so glad I found this rom-com series from Melissa this year, it's been a fun reminder that romance with a comedic twist is great when life is heavy/getting you down!
I look forward to her spin-off series based on some of the supporting characters from these books, I bet they'll also be a perfect blend of funny and sweet!
Holy moly Fritz is possibly the most beautiful man that I have ever read about. The authors description of him is breathtaking. I love a man with dimples. He presents himself to the world like a man whore but he’s really a good guy who loves his family and friends hard. Ooh Savannah made me so mad most of the time. Such passive aggressive behavior with her ungrateful family. No wonder Savannah is a emotional and social mess because she has the family from hell. Good gracious, her parents are despicable. I’m glad that things worked out between Savannah and her brothers in the end. Fritz’s family is amazingly which is the opposite of the monsters who raised Savannah. It was great to have all of the characters from the previous book. By the way I ate cats but I thoroughly enjoyed General McLovin. He’s gangsta and knows how to play the manipulation game. I’m sad that this is the last book in the series. I like Mellisa writing style because it’s very reader interactive. Until next time y’all happy reading. 5 star review Scrumptious (Camos and Cupcakes #3) by Melissa Schroeder
The third and final book in the Camo and Cupcakes series, Scrumptious is Fritz O’Bryan and Savannah Martinez story and it was a great way to finish the series off. Fritz is known as the player of the group so when he finds himself developing serious feelings for a woman he is blindsided. When Savannah offers help to Fritz when he is in need of a place to stay he is initially shocked. Fritz is surprised to learn that there is more to the renowned chef than meets the eyes and much to his shock, he wants to get to know her better. The chemistry between Fritz and Savannah is intense and again there was a great deal of witty banter. EJ’s grandmother, Grannie Pam was a hoot and had me laughing out loud on numerous occasions. The relationship that Savannah has with her family is not ideal and I loved how Fritz stepped up for her. Totally swoon worthy. Again the friendships between these characters really made for entertaining reading and I could easily see them all as friends.
A lovely end to the Cupcakes and Camos series. These two- Fritz and Savannah have known each other while not really knowing each other for quite sometime only by reputation mainly. They have had no meaningful interactions, Fritz is a man whore and Savannah is a overworked and no nonsense chef. Savannah offers Fritz a place to stay when he is evicted from his apartment over the keeping of his grannie Pam's cat. Savannah soon realises that she has a crush on Fritz but his reputation makes her want to steer clear. With the wedding of their joint friends Ed and Allison coming up, they find that they are being paired together and trouble in the family is just up ahead. Is Fritz going to join his brothers in arms and settle down too or continue his bachelor ways? Or will Fritz and Savannah tango in the sheets and survive the fall out, if they do?

I have been enjoying the Camos and Cupcakes series and Scrumptious is a great addition to it. Fritz and Savannah's story is a wonderful read. Savannah hides a side if herself from everyone and when Fritz gets a look at it he is lost. He longs to prove to Savannah that he is more than just a playboy. These two are a great couple. Savannah is a strong and able woman that holds her own. Fritz is a good man who is ready to be her rock and do whatever Savannah needs him to do to prove his worth to her. I enjoyed the slow build of their relationship and the love that shines through in all that they do. Not only do we get a fun and entertaining couple but many of the supporting characters make an impression. Trust is earned and love is fought for in this book. I loved seeing the friendships that have developed and strengthened through this series of books. The author weaves a nice romance with strong characters and emotions.
Flitz and Savannah seems the unlikely pairing...... but surprise, surprise, their story was so sweet. Savannah comes across as the badass grumpy chef, but is a big softie inside. She works herself too much, but it's her family that drains her. Secrets are going to rock her world and she will come to realise that everything that she had held dear and taught was important seems insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Flitz was such a surprise. I really enjoyed getting to know him and a man that can dance and especially dance the hot Latin dancing is after my own heart. He really understands woman(most of the time) and Savannah really needed some one like that in her life. His love for his family especially his Grannie Pam is so heartwarming. Great end to the series. Loved all three soldiers.

I loved Fritz and Savannah. They had great chemistry and seemed to enjoy each other from the very beginning. Even before they indulged in the steamy part of the relationship.
Savannah was so tough. Her relationship with her family was a constant, unyielding battle. I couldn't help but admire her strength and at the same time, understand that strange sense of loyalty she felt. I disliked her parents, and felt her brother's were not much better. They did manage to redeem themselves, slightly.
Fritz was awesome. Everyone should have a Fritz in their life. He was sweet, understanding, supportive, loyal, and sexy. Family was really important to him.
They had their own family of the heart with their best friends. A great final book to Camos and Cupcakes. I was so happy to get no only an HEA, but an epilogue too.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book received from the author via Booksprout.
I knew Fritz’s story would be a humdinger, but this is so much more! Fritz and Savannah shouldn’t fit. He’s a player and she’s a harda** virgin, but when they begin to see beneath the surface, the sparks begin, and their budding friendship becomes so much more! This is a wonderful story full of passion and family drama. What doesn’t seem as if it should work becomes an unqualified success. Fritz and Savannah’s tale will draw you in quickly and hold on tight until the end. It’s easy to get totally engrossed and forget everything else as you become immersed in your reading. The characters have become like friends and each storyline weaves a delightful tale that will leave you hoping there’s more to come.
Savannah and Fritz were such a joy to read! Where Fritz knows who and how he is, and his place in the world, Savannah knows her place, but can’t figure out how she ended up in this place. Fritz is well loved in his family, and they are all close, even though distance separates them. Savannah’s family is all near, but they are more business associates, not close for everyday life, or any part of life, at all. When the feisty feline named McLovin makes these two roommates, their lives are exposed to the other. And the comparisons of their lives expose the cracks in Savannah’s, and the things she had been accepting as normal, suddenly seem wrong. Then the attraction between them starts to bubble up. This is a slow discovery, no fiery blaze, though there is plenty of heat. These two compliment each other perfectly, and watching them discover that, was wonderful!
I absolutely devoured this book! It was so fun to get Savanah and Fritz as the main characters. Being told the story by them from the dual points of view was just awesome, absolutely hilarious, and exactly what I have come to expect from this series. I cannot believe all the twists and turns crammed into this book, but I enjoyed every scrumptious minute I spent reading it. I am going to miss this group of friends, but I am so glad the author is writing more about other people we have come to know through the series.

This is the third book in this great fun series and I think it is actually my favourite out of all of them
Savannah is the main chef at her families business but she is burning herself out and needs to take a break Meanwhile Fritz who is all ladies man after all he knows woman he has three sisters is evicted from his home Savannah offers him a room and the close proximity leads to sparks between them When family secrets come out Savannah's life comes crashing down but with the help of Fitz and her friends she will become the woman she is meant to be. Hopefully we will get the stories of Fitz's sisters next
You know it’s gonna be good if you are lol in the beginning of the book. It’s sweet! It’s funny! It’s a feel good! It’s sad! There’s loyalty! Love of family and sacrifices are automatic. What a stand up group these guys and their ladies are. Going to miss this group of friends :( Oh, and don’t forget some steamy stuff! Just wanted to see if you were paying attention.... the characters are so well developed with significant backgrounds. Have to say that the grandmas are a hoot!! Did I love this book? Yeah, I did!! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book
This is the 3rd and final book in the Camos and Cupcakes series. Thank you Ms. Schroeder for taking your time with Fritz and Savannah’s story. At 329 pages I got to savor the moment a little bit longer. The chemistry between Fritz and Savannah was electric! Add in the family secret and drama made for a spectacular conclusion to this book. Fritz and Savannah truly deserved their HEA. Both grannies and General McLovin made me laugh out loud. Sweet story and fitting ending to a Scrumptious series!
I received this ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.
Savannah, the toughest and hardest working of the Camo bunch. She's got a work ethic like nobody else but something is driving her. There's a bit of family business drama along with her friend's wedding that keeps her on overdrive. Fritz, the one night stand King, needs her help. His Grannie Pam and her cat steal the scene every time, and the laughs are just perfect timing. The friendly texting among friends shows the strong bonds and love they share. This was the perfect ending for the series, but a spin-off is in the works! I received an early copy, review was voluntary.
I loved this book and series. The characters need to overcome personal flaws/issues and do so with the help of their close friends.
Savannah is head chef at her family's restaurant and manages the chefs of their 16 restaurants. She is a workaholic with a hard exterior and soft center. Fritz is a co-owner of Camos & Cupcakes and has a reputation as a manwhore. Fritz gets evicted and Savannah lets him move into her house with his cat. As they spend more time together their attraction to each other grows. Savannah and her mother have a disagreement and she gets fired and learns some devastating news about her parents. Neither Savannah nor Fritz have much experiencing with committed relationships but they manage to fumble through and get their HEA.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Fritz and Savannah are perfect together! The final segment of the Camos and Cupcakes series had my emotions all over the place from anger at Savannah’s family to tears over Fritz’s care of his Grannie Pam to love over Fritz and Savannah’s hard earned story. Fritz was the manwhore until he gets to know Savannah more when she rents him a spare room in her house. Savannah is a workaholic at her family’s restaurant business who seems to always gets the short end of the stick with extra work days, until she says no to a change in her work schedule to attend her friend’s wedding. Will Fritz and Savannah be able to figure out how to have a relationship amongst their meddling friends and family? You have to read to find out and won’t want to put the book down!
As the third and last book of the Camo and Cupcakes series I was sad to see it end but was not in the least disappointed with the story. Savannah has such a strong personality but has a soft side she doesnt let many see. Fritz is definitely a playboy but the chemistry between these two definitely heat up the kitchen. A strong storyline with emotional hurdles and opening up to someone letting down walls and really seeing someone for who they are. Loved the meaning behind the story and the story itself. Although I think the cat got the short end of the stick, it was definitely the humor relief needed at times. Very intense and wonderful. I hope to see more about Fritzs sisters maybe.

Wow, what a way to end the Camos and Cupcake series, honestly, it was fantastic. As Savannah and Fritz's romance blew me away. As they were such outstanding characters and together they worked perfectly. Furthermore, the tempo of their romance from friends to roommates to soul mates was spot on.
Not to mention, there are some wonderful secondary characters in this tale. As well as some really fantastic familial relationships and some not so wonderful ones. And so, it was utterly enthralling to read. As well as sweet, tender, and genuinely heartwarming. And I would definitely recommend it to others. As it really was a such wonderful story.
**I was kindly provided with an ARC via Booksprout in exchange for an honest review**
I do rate this author highly and I’ve just loved this little series. Characters are all so likeable, charismatic and yet down to Earth. Savannah is just a great character and yet has had a real tough time with family. Fritz is an all round nice guy who has played the field. The mother and father didn’t get what they should but maybe if Austin gets his story all will get sorted. Highly recommend.
Definitely going to love all 3 books, just like I do!!
Ms Melissa Schroeder has a nuance to her writing that I can’t help but be 100% invested from the first page to the last! Sexy, steamy, romance and drama which was just fantastic and amazing. Makes you want to go back and read all 3 stories one after the other on a cozy winter night! Definitely going to love all 3 books, just like I do. Happy reading!!
I have been avidly following this sexy, delicious series and this last book was the knockout. Fritz, the no relationship lover of all women, falls for Savannah, the supposed “mean girl” of their group of friends. Who’d have thunk it? I totally adored this book. Fritz sees a side of Savannah he never expected and what follows is just soooo, well, swoon worthy! I loved the internal dialogues of the main characters and the the whole family vibe, both good and bad had me both laughing and steaming in indignation. What a great story! Cannot wait for more from the “Camo and Cupcakes” extended family!
