The fate of the pack depends on my ability to make an impossible choice: Victor or Sebastian.
Transforming before the harvest moon was once my biggest concern, but if the Family has their way, none of us will survive that long. Fighting back means resolving the war within, but with my memories intact, I'm no closer to choosing between the twins than I was.
Domination... Deceit... Decadence. They're all just part of life at the Lodge. Life as the hybrid Prince.
Time is running out, and my divided soul is the only thing standing between the pack I love and the cosmic battle that's coming to an end, once and for all.
This is the third book in the Kingdom of Night series and the final installment of Remus, Sebastian and Victor's story. It cannot be read as a standalone. See inside cover for content warnings.
Joel Abernathy, also writing as L.C. Davis, is a trans author of MM romance. He enjoys writing dark and emotional romance about men loving men in all genres.
Well, Okay. Honestly I feel like I read this at least twice because I had to re-read so many passages to try and make sense of this book. That so much of it focuses on Arthur telling his side of the story from the beginning didn't help. Having yet another layer of indecipherable lore was torturous. There were so many things that made no sense and/or contradicted earlier time lines, events and/or information that I ended up just giving up trying to make it make sense. Very rarely some kinky sex, some cringy sex or some inappropriate sex was thrown in. Secrets, secrets, secrets everywhere. In the end it was incomprehensible as a whole package.
So, I think the best I can say is that this was an epic story that appeared to be told with earnest ambition that seems to have gone off the rails . Finally, after all those hours, the incredibly short payoff ending was a huge let down.
I have to say I was looking forward to the conclusion but it seemed I had more questions than answers really. 🤔 It seemed like a big build up for nothing. Maybe it was just me but during this read I seemed to have gotten lost and confused with all the Gods disagreeing and undermining each other and the ghosts/dead souls using people as vessels. It was just too much for me to keep track of 😱!!! One reviewer had written that they were disappointed by the amount of Arthurs point of view but I have to say I was happy just to get away from the Remus, Sebastian and Victor's 3 way relationship/drama!!!!!! Arthur did disappoint me in the end but finally we got some closure of who was to be the alpha to run the pack. 🤗
This book is religion heavy. Religion-wise within the context of the story. There is no "god" per-se but gods and goddesses of a sort. The previous two books have certainly alluded heavily to the hunters and religion playing an aspect into all of their lives, but this book takes it one step further.
I honestly don't like religion heavy type books so this one was a little too much for me in that regard. The lore felt convoluted and was hard to follow at times. It's stated that the wolves, the hunters, and the vampires all have their own versions of the same story, but we don't really have any vampires in this series. At least no main characters besides our hybrid Remus, and his mother Sarah. This story is still mostly werewolves and the undead - the hunters.
For a list of trigger warnings, these are listed at the beginning of the book. Although, for I would say that the comment that no contact is made between the twins isn't entirely true, there's just no sex between them. They do touch and at one point there is a making out scene (even if it is just solely done for manipulation and not in the context of a sex scene).
The first two books were told from just Remus's point of view. In this one though, we get Arthur's POV. And he does have a lot of screen time. At first I was annoyed because I absolutely despise the last books in a series suddenly gaining another POV, but I did warm up to Arthur. Eventually. And mostly because he's been put through hell and I felt bad for him.
A thing to note is that even though he's one of the characters with a POV now alongside Remus, Arthur and Remus are not suddenly love interests. Remus is still very much in love with Victor and Sebastian and Arthur is in love with his not-cousin hunter Prentice.
As much as I love a good heaven and hell storyline, it did feel weird how it was thrown in here and overcomplicated everything. I thought it was interesting but not at all where I would have expected the series to go from what the series started with. The plot just takes very extreme twists that made it feel like I was reading a different series entirely.
Something interesting to note is Remus's full wolf form. It states that his wolf form is neither male or female and I'm not sure what that means? Sure, I understand that he doesn't exhibit either physically, but he doesn't identify as nonbinary or trans as a human so I am kind of confused then about his wolf form since that's a part of Remus.
I was doing okay with not feeling sad at any point, even if I felt bad for some of the characters. That epilogue though. I bawled by eyes out. It felt bittersweet but EVERYTHING HURTS. It just really didn't hit me until the epilogue what really happened and I just kind of lost it and couldn't stop crying. I was a sobbing mess.
Victor and Sebastian. They just keep going around in circles trying to make Remus choose just one of them as a mate, even when they know it's tearing Remus apart. There's a whole lot self-sacrificing in this story and from all sides. I was frustrated with how long it took them to work things out with the three of them. This is a M/M/M romance, but whew, the slow-burn was moving at a snail's pace.
So. The series overall.
There are unresolved questions. And I have a lot.
I think this series could have a spin-off. We're left not knowing what happens to Arthur at the end of this book, and I do find that very frustrating. But only because with a lot of authors, they'd have a comment at the end of the book that a spin-off is on the way or something, but there's been nothing I could find about Arthur getting his own story.
And the whole thing is complicated. Do I want a spin-off with Arthur? He's very much in love with Prentice still and even though Prentice isn't quite the, erm, possessed soul he has been this entire series, it doesn't really excuse all the stuff he HAS done up to this point, so I don't know. It just comes off as a very manipulative and abusive relationship right now and I would find that a tough book to read.
The fact that Arthur's father died by mysterious means kind of makes me suspect Prentice killed him off, but that's just me speculating.
Clarence and Hunter? That could be really interesting. Even a short or something from their POV after both of their secrets are revealed. To the reader, we knew Hunter is trans almost from the start, but Clarence didn't know for the longest time. Then, we find out something huge about Clarence when he's been kind of forgettable in the series up until this point and I just want to know more about him and his job, thanks.
What happened to Brendan? I loved him in Liminality, but he pulled a vanishing act in this book. We barely saw him at all and I miss his carefree banter with Remus. We barely saw him (or Maverick) this book. He was much more of a background character in this one and I'm sad about that.
Foster is kind of an enigma this entire series. He worships the Moon and Her teachings and was upset about Hunter taking such an important place in the religion, even though he had less of an interest in it. He appeared as a plot device to move different character's stories along, but we don't really know what happens to him at the end.
Jason? We don't know him. If you forget who he is, don't worry. I think Remus did too.
Clara's the one constant woman in a book with all men, and we do see a lot of her in this book, and is a good secondary character.
Sarah? She vanished for most of this and I'm still surprised Remus developed such an attachment to her. Saban? I'm surprised Remus even remembered who he was. Because I barely remember him from the first book and even then, I wouldn't have thought he made that much of on an impression on Remus. At least, not enough for Remus to ask for what he did.
I love Ulric. He's the alpha and loves his sons dearly. "Sons" being a loose term because that would make the Remus/Victor/Sebastian relationship stranger than it already is. I just love Ulric so much.
We met Val and Billy and Alex in the last book, and their story was left unresolved. We have absolutely no idea where Billy is and he's even mentioned in the epilogue with no one being able to contact him. Alex is literally in a weird place right now but I guess whatever Val and Alex has going on works for them. If only Billy will come back now and they can work everything out.
Ultimately, I think the series tried to do more than it should have. With such long books in this trilogy, there are still a lot of unanswered questions and felt very confusing at times considering the fact that I thought we were getting a fun shifter M/M/M romance. It just got too convoluted at the end and felt like the story tried to shove too many pieces together. Loved the first book, but I didn't really enjoy books two and three as much as I wanted to.
I didn’t like Equilibrium as much as the first two books in this trilogy, mostly because I wasn’t a fan of the turn the series took to having Gods and spirits so heavily involved in the story. There was a lot going on in this book with the gods that it made me miss the first two books when we were mostly focusing on Remus, the twins, and the pack. I also felt like the other members of the pack kinda got forgotten by the end of this book, especially Branden and Maverick who I was hoping to see more of.
I did really enjoy Arthurs POV, his story was a nice change of pace. Though I found it odd how he just disappeared at the end of the book. I wish he had a proper ending.
And of course I loved everything that had to do with Remus with Sebastian and Victor. I wasn’t sure if their relationship would go the route it did, but I’m happy that it went there (as unconventional as it is lol) because it’s the best way for the three of them to be happy.
Even though I wasn’t a huge fan of the route this series went in this book, I still really enjoyed the series as a whole. I’m definitely going to be reading more by Joel Abernathy in the future!

"Love is the one thing you can't kill, but life tears it apart so easily."
Equilibrium is the conclusion to Joel Abernathy's Kingdom of Night trilogy. This can absolutely not be read as a standalone, you must read the first two books before this one or you will have no idea what is happening.
"How do you choose between two people who can only fully love half of you."
This final book brings us as many questions as the first did but thankfully they all get answered in the end. It seemed like one revelation after another was discovered and things got a bit convoluted. On the bright side we finally get the moment we have all been waiting for, an actual MMM intimate scene between Remus, Sebastian and Victor and it made my heart very happy.
"For the first time in my life, safe in the arms of the men I loved more than anything except each other, I felt whole."
This book also brings us the POV of Remus' friend Author, who has been a side character since the beginning. With his POV we are given a whole other story that stands up against the love triangle of Remus, Victor and Sebastian. It took me a while to understand the point of his POV because up to this point I had no attachment to him. The more we discovered what he went through and how he felt the more I cared for him. I am slightly disappointed that his fate in the end was left unknown.
"When you love someone, death is an illusion because they never stop being real to you."
In the end Equilibrium ended more or less how I assumed it would but I hadn't anticipated the ways that conclusion was reached. It is a satisfying ending to another enjoyable series by Joel Abernathy.
This series is, in a word...complex, to put it mildly
The first book, I was into for like 80% then Sebastian was made out to be the bad guy and Victor the martyr saint and I wasn't feeling it (team Sebastian all the way). Remus becomes this unlikeable asshole who feels nothing, blahblahblah. Suffice it to say I wasn't going into book 2 a very thrilled reader. In fact, I can honestly say I didn't read 50% of it (we're talking skipping chapters here) because I simply did not care. There were too many people involved! About a million different supernatural beings, each with their back story that is just sooo important to the plot, and such convoluted prophecies and "destinies" and celestial beings, my eyes crossed.
I was happy that the twins were getting along in book 3, but I've never really been into the whole "sharing a partner with your sibling" thing, so I was secretly rooting for Sebastian and Remus, and for Victor to end up with Clara or something (who disappears for most of book 3, for some reason). There was also skimming in book 3, but I was more patient since there was an end in sight.
I can only assume Arthur's story is coming, and I'm honestly looking forward to that. Did I enjoy this series? It's a toss-up. There are some interesting aspects to it, despite the billion different things you have to keep up with. IMO the side characters should have had more center stage in the books, just to break the emotional Remus, emo Victor and enraged Sebastian monotony, like they did in book 3 with Arthur. Just, please Joel, for the love of all that is good in the world, don't break his story up into 3 500-page books. I just don't think I have it in me to read a trilogy with the same MCs.
Rating = 3.5 I think for some this trilogy will be amazing for others unpalatable. For me, Iit was somewhere in between. There were aspects I loved, others I loathed, and still more I didn't understand (or understand the purpose) even by the end. But, I appreciated the author's effort in making this a true journey. I would highly recommend; anyone reading reviews before purchasing - to read a lot of them to decide if this series is for you. I decided to round up to 4 stars, because it was definitely an above average m/m book, even if large parts were a little muddled or perplexing for me.
Blurb = (Scale 1-5) 3
My Genre Scale = (Scale 1-5) 5 Odds if not your genre = (Scale 1-5) 2
Development of: = (Scale 1-5) *World = 4 mostly good but some crucial info felt too vague *Plot = 3.5 *Characters (scratch below the surface?) = 4
What stood out = Lots of shock value, the flawed m/c's
Mood Type / Appeal to those looking for = A Dark and twisty fantasy Warnings = Graphic scenes of body marring, cruelty,
Series Notes = The 3rd and final at least four these m/c's *Reading on? N/A *Reading back to back? Yes *Can be easily read without the previous? Absolutely not
Other Rating Notes = (SubPlots & HEA) It did end with a HFN for the m/c's, but I do worry about their self destructive tendencies. There were a few editing snags along the way that really threw me out of the book. But considering the breadth and scope, it wasn't too bad. I wish more loose ends were tied up for multiple minor characters, but maybe there are or will be more books from this world featuring these characters.
************** Below are my explanations or thoughts on reviewing! *************** 1.Obviously no review can take into account all the various personal pet peeves of readers. But, I do try to take into account the common ones often bemoaned by other reviewers 2. If used in this review, the term Brain candy is not necessarily negative. It has its uses and at times it is my preference when I just want to pass some time; so it does not carry a negative connotation for me - unless I'm expecting the next great novel. (What falls under brain candy? The book is meant for pure entertainment to pass time. It may be formulaic, from an author published quickly like monthly, things escalate fast, and are often solved easily etc.. Publishing industries version of pop music. Beach type reads etc... ). 3. Blurb rating purpose: Like many readers, I do not like to think I'm reading one kind of story; just to end up with another type. But...I also don't think a book should be docked stars for being as stated. If I don't like stories about "_________", and I choose to read one. I shouldn't give it 2 stars based JUST on my preferences. Unless... it wasn't clear in the blurb. 4. Other Factors that effect my perspective when reviewing: Since 2009, I have exclusively read m/m. My 1st was in 2007. I am a Kindle diehard, and I never do audio for m/m. I read at least 100+ books a year - with an average length of 220± pages; but the total number of books is usually much higher. My Goodreads lifetime rating (at the start of 2020) was a 3.72 average for 1390 books. Which considering, you should be better at picking out books the more you read, I feel is a accurate average. I have over 700 reviews within the m/m genre here on Goodreads.
This book wraps up the main storyline of our three MCs while adding in more plotlines for future installments. As with each of the previous books, we learn more secrets and deceptions about the MCs as well as several side characters.
This story has so many facets that I don't know where to begin. The world is being manipulated by selfish and greedy Gods. The moon, Selene, is forcing Remus to make a decision so that she won't have to, while promising him a way out that she doesn't fully understand.
The Patriarch, or the Sun's representative, is the leader of the hunters. Arthur is brought back into this book as a leading secondary character, as he is a Hunter that has yet to ascend. This plotline plays a major role in the development of this story as well.
Then there is Gaia, the goddess of earth and death. She is the reason Selene is being forced to choose between her children; to restore balance. And of course, Thanatos, the deity of the aether. Even though his part in the book is short, his influence over the series is powerful.
Plots are made, they fail, new plans are put into place, but it seems that tragedy is in store for one or all of our MCs if something isn't done. But, my wish was granted, a bit more kink is thrown into the mix, and a final decision is made. I am SO Happy with the outcome of the mating! It's what I have been rooting for all along. And although sacrifices had to be made, lives lost, and beliefs devastated, our MCs get their HEA/HFN ending.
I look forward to seeing more from this world soon.
Happy reading!
* I received an ARC of this book and I am leaving my honest review. *
I always find finishing one of Joel's books so bittersweet. The stories take you on such fantastical journeys. The emotions you experience along with the characters leave you quite invested and for readers like me, even after the book closes thoughts linger on those experiences.
I honestly thought when I began this journey with Pendulum, that this would be like so many other shifter series I've read and enjoyed. I must say that now, my standards have changed and because of this series, the bar by which I judge a good shifter series has been raised.
The complexity of the characters is so multidimensional that you think you have one figured out until another layer unravels. I loved Remus, Seb, & Vik so much! They frustrated me, made me laugh, cry, swoon, sigh, worry, stay up late reading, wake early to read more. They gave me all the feels and I took them gladly.💕
While we had so many questions answered for us in the third book, there are still others that need answering. I thought this was the final book, and while it may be for the main cast of this trilogy, Joel kinda left the story open-ended (not to be confused with a cliffy) for maybe more books OR perhaps a spin-off? Hopefully??? 👼

I read a complimentary (FREE) Advanced Reader Copy of this book & am voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review. 💋
This was the best of the lot. I went into this having read Exhale, Flesh and Shift and I was expecting something darker and more along those lines. This however gets Place 2 at the top of the bottom of series I've disliked this year (the first being Hazard and Somerset by Gregory Ashe (I did so not enjoy that series)).
Pros: - MMM ending - a little bit more character development here
Cons: - So much Arthur perspective AND THEN NOTHING - no real BDSM scenes between the three of them and from two books of "no me, no him, no me, no him" all of sudden like literally all of the sudden: "oh the three of us together are great no?" Expected the hints of them having done stuff in the past to somehow be realised here but as I said complete sudden 180 - the resolution of matters was solved in the cheapest way possible: they're all just reincarnations and everything just works out BECAUSE
Yeah I should have stuck with my gut during Book 1 and let it be. Some moments were nice and I mean it wasn't terrible because I did finish the series BUT the best fantasy love triangle series I've read is one of the fantasy Romances I loved the most (Clockwork Series by Cassandra Clare MFM). That series was great and did everything this didn't so I think I'm mainly annoyed cause it could have been great and wasn't.
Rant over :)
NSFW infos: - MMM twincest scenes with spitroasting and dropped hints to future DP.

*I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one elses*
This is the third book in the Kingdom of Night Series and is not a standalone. This is a brilliant yet addictive series and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
Remus’s soul is torn apart trying to pick between his two soulmates. Sebastian and Victor complete Remus but will fate be on his side and give him his HEA?
Remus, Seb and Victor face many challenges and obstacles. Each willing to give up everything for those they love the most but will it be enough? Tough choices need to be made yet the question remains whether three souls destined to be together can change their destiny.
Arthur was a sweet soul: trapped and suffocating, amongst the hunter family he never belonged with. His love and longing for Prentice was heartbreaking. Prentice went too far when he started torturing Arthur - the tiny spark of hope in Arthur’s heart extinguished, leaving behind only determination to make things right.
There were parts that left me feeling numb and others that left me in tears. The ending was beautiful but bittersweet knowing that Arthur’s journey hasn’t ended yet and the uncertainty of what things lie ahead for him.
Sadly this is the conclusion & final book in the series “Kingdom of Night” trilogy & I was completely enthralled by this dark & devious MMM vampire/shifter trilogy romance, it certainly caught my attention & kept it throughout the series. It has a well-paced story-line & plot filled with unexpected occurrences & events. The characters are well-developed & unique with complex personalities & they react with believable confusion & realistic emotional feelings to the situations they find themselves in. There is: devious gods/goddesses, hunters, wolf shifters, vampires, a hybrid vampire/wolf shifter, fated mates, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, action, emotional turmoil, secrets, mystery, manipulations, deception, danger, threats, enemies, violence, torture, betrayal, conflict, misunderstandings, doubts, challenges, obstacles, confrontations, complications, memories, anguish, choices, decisions, happiness, mates, some steam & a satisfying conclusion. I would recommend this series “Kingdom of Night” which consists of “Liminality – book 1, Pendulum – book 2, Equilibruim – book 3” to people who enjoy reading this genre. I sincerely doubt that you would be disappointed in this series.
I can’t say I saw it all coming in the end, but I did predict half of it. Honestly it was the only way things would work out if it were to be a happily ever after.
“In that moment, I wasn’t two halves of a torn soul or the mismatched product of a vampire and a werewolf. For the first time in my life, safe in the arms of the men I loved more than anything except each other, I felt whole.”
I absolutely loved Sebastian, Victor and Remus, but Arthur and Hunter really got a great little piece in this one.
In the end there were a lot of secrets, lies and love all around that it made for an interesting and thought-out story.
Remus is still torn between the two men and with a war quickly approaching its hard for him to think of anything other than save everyone he loves.
“He was a tortured soul who longed for the peace and tranquility the moon provided, at least in his eyes.”
I would have liked to see what happened with Arthur and Prentice, as I was a little disappointed there wasn’t closure… in the way I wanted it.
This series has quickly become one of my favorites. As the third installment for "Kingdom of Night", Remus continues to be torn between his love for both Victor and Sebastian. Who should he choose as his mate? How will his decision impact his personal relationship, his pack, his friendships? And what do ancient myths and legends, gods and goddesses and dreams have to do with any of it?
The story intrigued me from the start because the author was able to build not only a complex world and backdrop to the more immediate story line. But he was also able to garner my interest in all the main characters even when I disliked where the story seemed to go. I rooted even for those who made it almost impossible to find anything redeeming about them.
This is not a stand-alone, so I would not recommend reading it without reading Pendulum and Liminality first.
This will for sure be on my "to be re-read" pile and I look forward to the next installment.
I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Fortunately this book is the best of the series, since they finally get their HEA. Arthur's pov provided a nice break. I loved Arthur's perspective. His story is very interesting. I was so glad this book focused more on the 'saving the world' plot than the drama of the love triangle (gag). Don't get me wrong it turned out very satisfying but it was too much work getting there. The sex scenes and BDSM were much better, especially since there finally was a complete BDSM scene. Even though I'm still a little squicked about the twins being psychology abusive toward Remus. They are actually maturing and improving on that front so that helped. The fact that they were able to acknowledge their mistakes (whcih is really too mild of a word for what they do to each other), and take responsibility for their actions helped. Plus they did try to make amends so that's a few points in their favor.
All in all the series was worth reading even if the relationships are so disfunctional that it was hard to stomach at times. I still recommend this series.
The third book of the series brings us a closer look at Arthur and everything he went through before he ended up with Victor. Though his story ends open and I can only assume we will see more of him.
This book had so much going on it was difficult at times to follow all the twists and turns and immortal being. It came to a point where it got exasperating to read. As there were almost too much plot to wrap your head around.
I learned to care about Arthur during this and his unhealthy relationship or obsession with Prentice. I had a bit of difficulties following the timings compared to the last book.
What did this book for me was the moments we get with Sebastian, Victor and Remus together. They are lovely and passionate. And I don't think I've laughed so much as when Remus plays video games. I wish there had been more with them because finally it was less struggle and more moments of bliss.
I am not satisfied. For the final book in the trilogy, I expected more. Sure the MCs got their HEA but it left so many things unanswered (probably setting up the side characters for future spin offs in this universe but idk).
Also, I’m sorry but I’m confused with the way Sebastian and Victor’s relationship develops — I know Victor now has one of Remus’s souls but they’re still brothers by blood so why were they kissing??? Is it not incestuous??? and being in a polyamorous relationship together???
This book might’ve been the end of the series but it left so many things unanswered… First off, who was Brendan’s secret boyfriend? Why was he never mentioned? What happened to him and Maverick if they were destined to be together??? Also where did Sarah disappear to after she had the fight with Remus — its like her character just got written off? FINALLY Where is Arthur??? They buried him and he just disappeared???? I NEED answers.
Most of this last book was slow and boring, unfortunately. But towards the end, it became everything my heart secretly hoped for.
“I felt something. It was fear. It was then I realized that the thing you wanted most could easily turn into your worst nightmare under the right circumstances.”
“Putting someone through hell is nothing compared to giving them a glimpse of heaven only to send them back to Earth, knowing they’ll never experience it again.”
Love.
Sacrifice.
Pain.
Suffice it to say I’m not disappointed in how things went.
“Whether my mind had been broken after two hours or two years, it was gone and it was never coming back. I felt it. I knew it. And there wasn’t enough of me left to care. The lights that made up everything shut off and plunged me into nothingness.”
Equilibrium completed the story of Victor, Sebastian and Remus. And it definitely does not disappoint this reader of the series. Interesting, exciting, provoking, captivating, brilliant...these are words I would use to describe this book.
Throughout the series, we have seen the characters evolve... mature and grow into their true selves along their journey. Sebastian, Victor and Remus have extreme chemistry together and I enjoyed their interactions. They are well developed characters with a well written story. Twisted but brilliant characters that I couldn't help but root for and love by the finale. Their story definitely has a satisfying resolution.
I received an advanced reader's copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
This was an excellent end to Remus', Sebastian's, and Victor's story. I don't want to give spoilers, but I found it to be a satisfying ending, although there were some sad moments. All in all, I really liked this series, the plot hooked me in and I couldn't stop reading even though I had finals that I probably should have been studying for. There are a lot of unexpected twists and turns. The characters are all interesting, and even though they're frustrating at times (especially Victor), it makes sense with their motivations/character traits. I'm really looking forward to the other character's books--especially Arthur's (who might be my favorite character in this series). Note: I received a free ARC of this book, and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
I admit I'm a bit dazed right now. Absolutely flabbergasted by this book. I didn't expect anything of what happened in it. Definitely horrified by poor Arthur's story and taken aback by how the author chose to resolve the Sebastian, Victor and Remus conundrum...I surely didn't see that ending coming. Right from the beginning, Equilibrium felt like getting on a rollercoaster with my eyes blindfolded, astounded and dizzy from its highs and lows, twists and turns. I'm off the ride now and I still can't put my thoughts in order. One thing I now for sure is that I'm sorry this breathtaking series is over. I highly recommend it.

I received this book by the author and This is my honest opinion. Oh my word! This was an exhilarating final instalment of the relationship between remus and the two brothers Victor and Sebastian. I literally couldn't put this book down and mowed on right through it, it was definitely a page turner and I'm so happy and glad on how it ended💙💚💜 This series was full of twists and turns with an intricate plot and great characters. My heart broke for some and cheered on others. We discovered all the secrets and some I was just not expecting. Well imagined and just a great story. Loved, loved, loved
To darn much. This book actually ended on a decent note especially considering the fact that this isn't the final book to this series. Well, it is for this couple but next up is my favorite twisted love birds. That being said :Spoiler: ..... .. ... ... ... .. ..
Vic and Seb kissing is probably the only reason I like this book. Yes, related and all that jazz but theu had way more chemistry between them then with Remus. I was waited for the moment someone would come out and start jumping the other. I can only hope that we get a nice little scene for in the next series for those fans of taboo.
Dear author, I am not good at writhing reviews, sorry. But I wanna say that I really like the stories you create. Sometimes they are too complicated and even illogical, but still you have really good imagination and I think if one day you will find a dedicated editor you can even make a living via writing. Also your fetishes, so to say, are close to me, e.x. non-gratuitous violence and supernatural fleur. But speaking about this book and setting aside main characters, I really liked Arthur story, especially love part. And I feel really sad that he didn’t get his ending. I am not saying about HEA, but he and Prentice need their own story, their own closure. That kind of passion doesn’t just vanish in a thin air. Please, consider a sequel. Thank you very mush for all your work and I wish you all the best.

This third book is completely different from the first book and I think that's a good thing! The first book was very romance triangle heavy and this third book was very lore heavy. I wish the lore and gods were more present in the trilogy from the very beginning instead of all being shoehorned in at the end. Also, I really came to like Arthur and his story but I wasn't prepared for a third of the book to be from his POV. Definitely planning to read his spin off though!
Summary: We start off getting Arthur's POV and then there's lots of confusing and not well explained plans on who Remus should choose, how to kill the patriarch and self-sacrifice.
Way too long. Stupid gods use humans as pawns and play things plot. Another character gets multiple chapters of the book told from his perspective when his actual book is next in the series. The twins are childish and the main character is annoying and too goody two shoes to live. Skipped 3/4 of this book and still feel like I read too much. I will not be reading the rest of this series, even though I’m curious about Maverick’s story, because I just can’t take the writing.
