What can I say other than...wow
I was really surprised by this short story. It was dark and twisted I loved it and I really need more... what happens next?!?
The main character Scarlett goes through a traumatic event and this is her story of how it effects her and how she chooses to deal with it. It is a dark twisty tale of love, loss and revenge.
I am not a great fan of cliff hangers and tend to wait until a series is complete before I read it, but this quick read was just enough to drag me into the story and get invested enough to need to know more.
A couple of shocking twists that made me shout and shake my kindle at the shock of it.
Bring on the next book!!

Holy cow!! (or should I say chicken since this author seems to like chickens)? Julian Napier is the king of dark and twisted. The twists and turns in this short book were just unbelievable and I found myself so immersed into the story that I lost all sense of my surroundings. By the time I got to the end of the book my heart was racing and my mind was totally blown. I have to admit I was slightly mad at having to wait for more, but hopefully Julian Napier shows some mercy and doesn't make us wait too long for more!!

This is Julian Napier at his best. It's a fairly short story but is dark and twisted and full of unanswered questions!!. The cliffhanger ending definitely makes you want more and hopefully the next book will provide the answers . Scarlett's story is heartbreaking . She needs revenge and I must say I was surprised at how she goes about it. This is a great story!!

Holy cow this is one intense read. What happens to Scarlet is horrible. I understand her need for what she does, its very intense.The ending left me wondering what is coming next. I can't wait to read more.

Finally she has the opportunity to seek sweet revenge on one of her attackers.
This is a short, but incredible story of terror, torture, and revenge.

This is on the darker side but it was fantastic. There we're twisted that I didn't see coming and I love that. It had the usual Julian style cliffhanger, so be warned. I can't wait to see where he takes Scarlet.

Short story of revenge and justice. There is definitely some collateral damage. This is a dark one with a not real happy ending.

Well that was one hell of an introduction to this new to me author. This book was my kind of dark and twisted. It left me with more questions then answers with that cliffhanger but in the beat way. I can't wait to find out if this story gets more deliciously twisted in the next book. Bravo on a story worth every one of the 5 stars I gave it.

Well what a story!!! This is a great dark and twisted short story that will leave guessing at every turn. You will learn about scarlett and her heartbreaking story and her need for closure and what she thinks that closure will look like to her.
This is a cliffhanger but i guarantee you will be itching for more and all the unanswered questions im hoping to be answered in the next book.
Julian Naiper is a talented story teller and you will see him at his best with this book.
If you enjoy the thrill of chasing the end of the book then this is for you.
