A Boss Stole My Heart 2

Rate this book
Life for Journey Anderson took an unexpected turn for the worst when she gets caught in the middle of a shootout, putting her life in danger.
No one saw it coming, especially not Darnel, who is left in a state of shock when he comes across Journey’s lifeless body lying on the floor in a pool of her own blood; after doing what he thought was just another ordinary hit for him.
Now, with her fighting for her life, the only thing on Darnel’s mind is seeking revenge.
Harlem “Steel” Cooper is on a brink of destruction once an unannounced visit from his ex-longtime girlfriend Asia leaves him speechless once she reveals that he is in fact the father of her child.
Harlem is in denial and refuses to allow Asia to come back into his life and disturb his happiness with Journey. He decides to keep the little information to himself until he is for certain that he is in fact the father of Asia’s daughter.
With Frisco and Breonna’s relationship now in shambles due to her over protective brother Turco metaling, Frisco is having second thoughts on if dealing with Breonna is such a good idea.
Breonna on the other hand feels as though Frisco might just be the one for her, but it’s hard for her to express her true feelings when he just suddenly decides to break things off with her. The two embark on a cat and mouse game with each other in hopes that one will cave and throw in the towel. What happens when things go a little too far? Will they be able to fix their strained relationship, or will they just call it quits?
The chaos continues, and secrets are revealed as the crew try to find their way in part two of this installment. Find out if broken relationships are mended and see just how real things can get when it comes to playing with matters of the heart.

ANOTHER MUST READ

Picked up right where the last installment left off with drama and more drama. Right from the beginning held my attention and wouldn't let me go...a page-turner. It was so much going on that kept me wondering what's happening next. Okay so Kevin is really Murder, now the plot really thickens. This series is getting better and better and I love it. I need for Steel to calm down and think, he's running off emotions and everything is right in front of him. He has Journey all wrong and he's not trying to reason with her. That dang Asia is really up to no good and that doctor going down with her. Still enjoying the storyline and these characters and it very well written. It flowed really well at a steady pace. Still loving the character development and how descriptive the story is. Just like I'm part of the story. Also, I need Frisco and Breonna to get it together. I need the next installment ASAP. Another job well done Alicia Danielle.

Why drag this out

I started book one cause book two was out. However, I see the author took over 6 months to drop it. This is just an ok series. Just too much. I mean Journey was going to school in book one and it hasn’t been mentioned again. Like how much can an 18 year old endure or be clues to? Why didn’t Frisk just tell Bre it was his sister? I think it was her brother who hit her car. Anyway, hope this author get book three out sooner.

Good Read

Journey just couldn't catch a break with people making her look like she wasn't loyal to Harlem. If he would just listen to her for a change, he may actually know that she's not out to hurt him! His brother and Chantel are the people who want him hurt! Waiting for part three to see if Journey was shot!

Great book

Wow what an ending?? So now it makes sense Kevin is murder Harlem brother what are the odds that Journey was messing with brothers. I’m mad that Harlem think she had something to do with his house getting broken into. And look his own brother hired Darnel to take Harlem out that’s crazy . What does Chantel have to do with Murder. Can’t wait for part 3

That's it??? Waited what seemed like for ever to read this and this is it? I can do without the next one because this was barely hanging on a thread as far as the story line is concerned. 7/10/2019 14:19
