I feel like there’s a Undeniable 3 coming. I enjoyed the book and actually couldn’t put it down. I started it this afternoon and was done by night fall. Great read and lots of ups and downs. I recommend to any book club.
This book was even better than the first one (Spoilers)
Undeniable 2 was even better than the first one. I enjoyed reading Amara and Driq's life as a couple. They had a lot of ups and downs, but they got through them and ended up getting engaged. I really believe that Driq wants to be the man Amara wants and needs. He's done everything he could to make her happy and change his ways, despite the mishaps here and there. However, to learn that Amara doesn't really want the same things he wants is mind blowing. I'm glad that Deja's scheme didn't work and I'm also glad that Driq didn't do something he'd regret out of pride and anger. I hope there's a part 3 because I'm interested in seeing how this story ends. I definitely recommend this book to anyone that likes romance stories. I'm sure you'll love it! Raymond Francis has a way of reeling you into his stories and getting you emotionally invested in the character's lives.
Hmmm 🤔, same ghetto different type of ratchetness🙄‼️I expected more from Driq’s character 🤷🏾♀️‼️And I appreciated the redefined, mature, responsible & legitimate man & or citizen he transitioned into for his love for Amara. However, he was raised by the hood & a former kingpin. Why did he function like a 🙀🥴🤦🏾♀️😤 in the old neighborhood ⁉️Nonetheless, “Undeniable 2” (3.75 ⭐️’s) was still an entertaining read. Unfortunately, the characters especially Driq as well as the storyline was inconsistent & lacked the character continuity from book 1🤔🤷🏾♀️. …Two steps forward but four steps backwards, ratchet retentive🤭‼️
I liked this book, though I wished Amara could have been taught a bigger lesson. Amara judges the people in her life as if she was better than them. Amara’s position as an activist , leaves me to think of some of the leaders in these inner cities. They want you to listen to them at election time , vote for them all while they are looking down on and thinking they are better than the people they are asking to vote for them. Tangela thought Amara was her friend, but friends don’t think like Amara did about Tangela
The urban fiction had a lot to deal with in the story. Deja is going to meet karma if I have to write that part myself. Overall, a decent tale about a street dude falling for his bougie best friend. The story still feels incomplete based on the characters comments at the end of the story this time.
Once again Driq shows Amara just who isn't as a man in her life. Amara is a very selfish person that only tends to think about her own happiness and not that of those she claims to love. Deja just needs Tangela or somebody to put them hands on her!
