HEATHER MARIE ADKINS writes too much but still too little. She also has too many cats, not enough tequila, and a torrid love affair with procrastination.
With a penchant for the paranormal, Heather spends her days fueled by coffee, Ancient Aliens, and true crime podcasts. She resides in an unfortunately-not-haunted Queen Anne in southern Indiana with a sarcastic husband who is entirely too dependent on puns.
When she’s not plotting her next book or herding felines, she's researching the spookier aspects of history for her podcast, Historically Weird. Find out more about her at heathermarieadkins.com.
As a huge Greenwood, MacKinnon, Grey, and Johns fan I knew I would have get my hands on this set as soon as I knew they were in it. I was not disappointed as each offers their own fantastic installment that will leave you wanting more. The addition of the other authors provided me with a great introduction to their work and I always figure if I do not like their writing style I can always skip their part (I did not need to with this one). A great collection for fans of the genre. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
Zachriel left Angel World when he became addicted to the human world. A house of witches adopted him into their fold. The Commander has been sent to retrieve Zachriel to bring him back to face the consequences of his choices. At the house, the witches just saved him from capture and think to teach him a lesson. Belowground, he discovers a vampire…one of the fallen angels! Now, he has to make a dreadful choice…save her or the witches? Which will it be? Plus, he discovers some dreadful secrets that will help him make his final choice. This is a deep novella that shows the darkness of the characters…and the light of one! The ending has you pondering what happens to Zachriel after he makes his choice! It is a good fast read that introduces you to Rosemary John’s world of vampires and angels! I received this book as an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.
This is a great collection of stories by different paranormal authors. Rosemary Johns book is Vampire Secret. This is a short story that is the start of the Vampire series. There are twist and turns in the story but I really enjoy her characters interaction with each other. If you enjoy this story there are 5 more in this series.

5 stars. Loved each story in this book. Vampire secret by Rosemary A Johns is one of my favorites. She hit it out of the park. Each author had me hooked. A must read.
This was a great book of stories. Full of action and a page turner all the way through! Rosemary A Johns story of Vampire Secret was an awesome start to her award winning Rebel Angels Series!! I absolutely love her writing style. She always had such great story lines and off the charts epic characters. This story was just awesome and gave me a look into the beginning of her Rebel Angels Series! She is an amazing author!! I highly recommend this book!!
I received an ARC of Beyond the Loch by Laura Greenwood and Skye MacKinnon in exchange for an honest review. I thought the idea of visiting Nessie in her youth and explaining the foundation of Macey's involvement in the Wardens was a great idea. It was an interesting and fun read!
Review for Beyond the Loch by Laura Greenwood and Skye Mackinnon
Beyond the Loch is the prequel to the Seven Wardens series, which follows a young Nessie on her adventure to discover herself and unknowingly love. I highly recommend reading Beyond the Loch. This is a perfect addition to the Seven Wardens series, and gives some additional insight to the events that occur in Macey’s story.
Admittedly, somewhat better than the last collection given these were more like novellas rather than shorts or intros without enough depth to really entice you to read the series. However, some of the stories were not my cup of tea. There were a couple that I enjoyed and will give the next book a try, but only a couple.
I highly recommend the set. I read and enjoyed each story. Some are by authors I am familiar with and others were new finds. The stories are well written and introduce you to some interesting series.
This collection of books and novellas had some really good stories and some mediocre stories. All of the characters were strong and good but sometimes the story ended just as you figured out the plot. On the most part this is a worthwhile read.
There was only one book skipped because it was just a horrible beginning. All the books I did love were so fun to read I want to read the next in line of the stories. Just not the story of the Atlantians. That one started off so bad I went past it.
A great way to introduced potential fans to authors. I found some that I will now start to follow and was reintroduced to some that I read years ago. Only found one tale that was not to my liking.
