I was really anxious to read Benny’s story in the Club Crimson series. All the books are really good but this one was very sweet and tender. I loved how they’d loved each other forever and how protective he was of her.

A Bear's past
This story was excellent I just couldn't put it down. Benny 's story and characters were great. Kudos for the author's handling of the heroes romance and final sexual surrender. Recommend highly to our readers.😉😊

Everyone who has even the slightest knowledge of, or spent more than five minutes in Club Crimson knows that Harley is Benny’s mate. They also know that for some unknown, crazy reason Benny refuses to act on that fact. It hasn’t escaped anyone’s notice that Harley loves Benny just as deeply as he loves her – so what is keeping him away from his mate? His animal, his bear who isn’t like any other bear any of his friends or most shifters have ever seen. And in order to protect the woman he loves, Benny will keep the friend zone firmly in place and deny them what they want – each other.
BENNY is intense, steamy and answers a lot of questions I’ve had about Harley and Benny’s relationship. They’ve known each other much longer than anyone knew, and that past has a lot to do with their present and the future. Yet, to say more about that aspect of their story would give away spoilers so we move on.
There is more danger to both Harley and Benny than his bear. A mysterious stranger offers something almost too good to be true. And when desperation takes over Benny’s logic what this creature is truly up to will become apparent.
I understood both sides. Harley’s frustration at her love being pushed aside at every turn. And Benny’s reluctance to tell Harley his true feelings for her. Watching them slowly battle what is keeping Benny from Harley is an emotional journey.
I enjoyed BENNY and would recommend this story and the rest of the series to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader.

Benny is the third book in Terry Bolryder’s Club Crimson series.
Finally, Benny and Harley’s story is here! Glimpses of their interactions and chemistry in the previous Club Crimson books have left me waiting on the edge of my seat anxiously wanting more. I was not disappointed. This paranormal story was filled with fantastic characters, suspense, a love story that’s been years in the making and a well deserved happily ever after.
Benny and Harley have known each other for years and are co-owners of Club Crimson, a place where shifters, paranormals and humans interact. They both feel deeply for each other, but events from Benny’s past and his fear of hurting Harley, keep him from giving into his strong feelings. Despite everything, Benny finally makes his move and they embark on the beginning of their new relationship. However, everything isn’t as it seems, and Benny must learn to trust and accept his past, before his decisions destroy the love of his life. Will Benny and Harley finally get their own HEA? Read it and find out!
This was another great book by Terry Bolryder. I am looking forward to reading Felix’s story, he deserves his own HEA. I wonder, will it be part of the Club Crimson series or the start of a new series? Will his story be part of a couple (MF) or as a triad (MMF)? Can’t wait to find out!

This is a good addition to the Club Crimson shifter series. It is my favorite of the series so far, mostly because I liked Benny so much. It gets 3.5 stars from me, rounded up to 4 stars.
Benny and Harley were both likable. Benny was a sweetheart, and I loved how he would do anything for Harley, but I wanted him to realize sooner that his bear would never hurt Harley. I also wanted Harley to push Benny toward more than friendship a little sooner and a little harder.
My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.
3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.
4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one.
5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.

Good but a little unsettling, too
I think this is a very good book. I liked the storyline. Having seen both Benny and Harley in the previous Club Crimson books, I really wanted to see them work it out. But the tone of this book was more intense, uncertain and unsettling than I expected. There were not as many funny spots in this story. The fast pace moves the character oriented storyline along with a few steamy scenes and one action scene. I loved getting the glimpses into both their pasts. The character development was great, and all the characters are vivid and well-drawn.
You do want to read these in order. This is a spin-off of her Dragon series, but you don't have to read them before this series. If you want to, you can read the Double Dragons box set and Tiger Protectors box set, but they have a menage theme, so you don't have to read them. If you skip those 2 series, then start with the Awakened Dragons box set, then Rent-a-Dragon box set, Date-a-Dragon box set, Awakened Sea Dragons box set, Dragon Guards of Drakkaris series, Nightmare Dragons series, and then this one. There are a few references to things and people from these other series, but not enough to have to read them first. As you can tell, I have read a LOT of Terry Bolryder books! Try them and see for yourself! Enjoy!

Benny is the happy, friendly co-owner of Club Crimson. It's a place for humans and shifters to meet and play even though the humans are unaware they are with shifters. Benny has a dark secret he doesn't share. It takes great control to live with this secret. That darkness is what keeps him from pursuing the love of his life, Harley.
Harley has been his friend, protector and much more since they were kids. They aren't kids anymore. She doesn't want to be treated like a friend. She wants him to be a man--her man. She knows he's a shifter. What more can he be keeping from her?
The owners and crew are more than co-workers. Shifters with special talents they use to help other shifters and certainly their own. One offers to try to help Benny with his dark secret so he can be with his love--the secret he knows from his previous work.
Will Benny try to have the life he wants and he knows Harley wants as well? Or will his fear continue to keep her from him? Will he take too much of a chance and end it all?

Iniquus operative Gator Rochambeau’s unsettled by untimely psychic visions of a shadowy unrecognizable woman on his last two assignments, Gator manipulates entrepreneur William Davidson to become a trusted employee and identify his shadowy compatriots. Christen thinks Gator is an appealing, helpful bodyguard, unaware he’s part of her team. Gator recognizes her as his shadowy woman.
As they gather information but disagree on who the scheme’s mastermind, Gator’s visions of life with Christen unspool leaving him uncomfortably despondent while Christen’s confused by Gator’s puzzlingly distant behavior as she too has an idea of their future. Deciding the scheme would work better with Christen out of the picture, plans are put in place to remove her.

Benny is half owner of Club Crimson. Harley is also part owner of Club Crimson. Benny knows and has known for a very long time that Harley is his mate. Benny feels he is a danger to her because of his animal, even though his friends continually tell him otherwise. Harley has loved Benny for many years, but he always wants to keep her in the friend zone. All of Harley's friends are getting paired up, she wants that too.
I have read the other books in this series too. As much as I like the characters of Benny and Harley, I must say that this one is not my favorite. I do like the addition of Donovan, that was a nice twist and a throwback to a prior series. The story started to drag for me about half way through, just before Van showed up. The constant back and forth with Benny and Harley felt repetitive for a few chapters. I'll still be looking for book 4 and hoping it's about Fifi!

Benny's battle with his bear has been going on almost his entire life. As we discovered in Bear Canyon what happens when a first shift is caused by a traumatic experience, Benny's life has been all about being calm and in control. Harley grew up with Benny and can't understand why he pushes her away.
Sweet story about two people in love that just need a push in the right direction. But Benny will go to extreme lengths to protect those he loves from his "monster" within. A little mystery with a new character (hopefully leading to another Double Dragon series - I miss the modern dragons). Still have my fingers crossed that Fifi gets his story - which should be very interesting as he seems to be an equal opportunity lover.
Even though I read this series in order, I don't feel that it's necessary to read them in order (there are other series that really should be read in order - New York Dragons, Bear Canyon, Awakened/Gemstone Dragons).

Third book in this wonderful series and finally we learn the secret of Benny
We have met Benny and Harley in this first two books Max and Lock (you do need to read these two books first) and there have been hints about Benny but now we finally learn what kind of shifter he is and let me tell you its a doozy (that's all I'm going to say don't want to spoil it) You have to feel for Harley she has loved Benny though the entire series she keeps putting herself out therefor him and he never takes her up on it even though you know that he loves her and now you find out why. He may want her and not be willing to act on it but she sure isn't going to sit by while one of his friends hits on her (jealous anyone) Once again we get a hint at the next book Felix(Fifi) her we come but will his partner be a male or female We will have to wait to see.

Benny and Harley have known each other since they were nine years old. When Harley finally embraces being blunt with Benny, she’s devastated when he rejects her and can’t understand why they can’t be together. Benny is running from his past and who he is. When Fifi offers him help, he takes it with both hands hoping that this will be what finally allows him to be with the woman he wants more than his next breath😍

This is the third book in the Club Crimson series. This is Benny and Harley's story. What is the reason Benny cannot commit to Harley? Is he just to shy or is there a deeper reason?
We now find out the background between Harley and Benny. It is a very interesting story with twists and turns. A mystery, attempted murder and exactly what kind of bear he is.
Harley has finally gotten up the courage to approach Benny about her true feelings. He has given her conflicting signals. Will she give up on Benny or continue to go on as they are right now?
Come find out the exciting ending of this great story by Ms. Bolryder. This book 3 is as interesting as the first two. I really enjoyed this story and the mystery of Benny.

She was his world but something kept him from committing to her and making her his mate. Things from the past come back and other men come into play. He either step up or loose the woman he loves from forever.

Very Enjoyable Read
I enjoyed each book from this series. However, my curiosity was thoroughly peaked by Benny's mate being called a "Dragon Heart." I am looking forward to this continued story line.
I also want more of the story line on Max and the tragedy surrounding his exile and the tragedy surrounding his family.
Each story line from these series of books were unique and it became more understanding of the friendship and loyalty of these friends and allies. Each main character were initially such demeaning jerks. However, as their story lines evolved so did my loyalty and understanding towards them.

Fun read
In no ok 3 of the Club Crimson series, we finally see gentle giant Benny come together with his best friend Harley. Benny wants to protect her from his dire bear and secrets from the past. A purple dragon makes an appearance. Although I liked this story, I didn’t love it. Benny and Harley always seem to have the same conversation, where she pours out her love and he tells her he can’t be with her for his own reasons and won’t explain. It was a bit too much of a drama for my tastes, but I was already invested in these two characters and wanted to see the resolution.

Great story. We finally find out why Benny is keeping himself from Harley. They have been friends since they were children and Harley is ready for more, but Benny is holding back. He is afraid the monster inside him will hurt Harley and he would rather die than have that happen. Can Fifi found a way to get rid of his dire bear? Will Harley continue to wait for him? Who is the mysterious man who has been following him and Harley and what does he want?

Great story
So glad to finally read Benny and Harley’s story. They are perfect together but had to get past their issues to get there.
Now of course we need more Fifi and what about the bad guys? Is there more dragon stories, is the oracle aware, does this lead back to the others or somewhere different?
Terry Bolryder writes wonderful stories with characters you love who always get their happy ever after and the worlds they live in are so exciting. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

A fantastic story!

However, they're both secretly, or not so secretly, crushing on the other, but Benny's hiding a huge secret that he refuses to allow Harley to know. Will that secret end up breaking them apart, or will the truth finally set them both free to get their HEA? It's certainly a story that you won't want to miss!

Benny struggles with what he is and his past. Harley knows that no matter what, Benny would never hurt her. Someone is after them both. Will Harley get the love she has always wanted? Will Benny realize he isn't the monster he is?
I was so excited to get this book and it didn't disappoint. I loved how Harley was steady and determined to prove her point of view on Benny. I didn't blame Benny for struggling, but loved seeing him slowly realize and give in to what he wanted and needed. Great read!

Childhood friends that care for each other but Benny carries a big secret that he fears will make Harley walk away from him. He is a bear shifter with a difference. A big difference. He has only shifted once and death, blood and carnage was the result. Harley is a human and she has had enough of been friend zoned by Benny and takes matters in her own hands to change their relationship without realizing nothing will be the same again. Packed with action, betrayal heart warming moments and red hot romance. Highly recommended

Good book
Another good read in this series, Benny co owner of club crimson has some deep secrets that make him keep himself away from the love of his life Harley. He turns to drastic measures to rid himself of his troubled bear and risks his life in doing it Harley is his saviour. These two go through some difficult times but get through their troubles to be together. They have been friends from childhood and have loved each other from the start. It's a lovely romance with strong characters a good read.

Slow start but ended with a bang
This one started out very slowly for me. Partly because I am old enough that I associate a bear named Benny with another bear named Ben. Yes, they do share traits, one of them being misunderstood. Consequently, the first two-thirds of this book was rather predictable for me. It wasn't until the real challenge happened that it got interesting. And wow! What a challenge! I was very glad I stuck it out until the end of the story. But, even then, no surprises - just a wonderful happy-ever-after.

I wasn't sure what to expect with Benny's book. The reader has known that Benny already knew who his mate is and that the attraction between Benny and Harley is thick enough to cut with an axe. What we didn't know was why he was avoiding a relationship with her like the plague. The story was a great read, Terry Bolryder definitely didn't disappoint.

I loved this book! I've been looking forward to finding out Benny's back story and it is a heart tugger.!
Benny is a bear shifter and he and Harley have been best friends for Nearly two decades. They both feel the pull to the other, it's just that Benny holds back!

Really good.
This was one of those books where I must have been on the same wavelength as the story, i somehow knew what was going to happen each time a new thing came up.
Don’t take that wrong, it was equally as good as the previous two and i enjoyed every word of it.
Benny and Harley from Club Crimson finally act on their mutual attraction. But Benny has a few problems to work out along the way.

Benny and Harley forever
It was a really nice story. Too bad Benny never shared his story for all those years. Turns out his bear isn't so dire after all. He will always protect his mate. His bear knows what she is and means to them. Also good to know that all of his friends met his bear as well and he knows they are part of his crew to protect. Not too sure about Van and what his deal is. I'm wondering if Fifi will get a book now.

Captivating Book
Another great book just as great as the previous ones and holds your attention from beginning to end! This story was more intense because it lets you know why he is so scared to get to close to, Harley, with plenty of action, drama, good friends, passion, and steamy hot romance with awesome characters? Hopefully there will be more book coming and definitely a must buy.
