Best Friend Baby Daddy

Rate this book
Mixing business and pleasure is always a mistake.
Except with Everest, it’s nothing but pleasure.
Which is why I know our business arrangement is about two things:
Getting what he wants.
And getting me pregnant.

Everest Bloom is my best friend.
Rugged, gorgeous, cocky, and perfect.
He’s my total opposite in every possible way.
And he knows I’ll do anything for him.
Including getting married.

At first, it’s just about business.
Everest needs my help taking over his family’s company.
I know it’s a mistake.
I’ve loved him since the first moment we met.
But I can’t say no.
Every second together is agony and ecstasy.
Especially our first kiss up on that altar.

Things are good at first.
We’re only sleeping together every single night.
It feels incredible, right up until he gets me pregnant.
Now I have to choose:
My baby or my friendship.
Everest is perfect, but I’m afraid he’ll bolt.
Sooner or later, I’m going to have to tell him the truth.

Best Friend Baby Daddy is a steamy over-the-top secret baby best friend romance! If you love a good rugged alpha mountain man that always gets what he wants, this story is for you. This standalone is safe with no cheating and a guaranteed happily ever after.

Note: All my Baby Daddies NEED to make a baby! Even if they don't know it yet! If you love snarling alpha men and insta-love, these standalone stories are for you.

Amy and Ever

Amy and Ever have been best friends since they were kids. Amy has loved him forever. One day he asks her for a favor. She can't believe what he wants from her. This was a hot very sexy dirty book.

Quick Take: This was a cute and fast read about best friends faking a relationship. Nothing helps prove the bonds of a friendship than asking them to become your fake wife. I enjoyed Ever and Amy’s friendship, which made me root for their actual relationship. They definitely had chemistry down to the T. It includes a HEA so no complaints here.

I adored this story. I am getting a little bored let's say with the friends falling in love with each other stories. However, BB brought this story to life by having these friends not have this perfect friendship. There is a weird dynamic to them but it kind of works. Ever and Amy has many reasons not to work, but due to reasons beyond their control, they have to get married and stay together for at least a year. Even though Amy is okay with what is going on and set on helping Ever on whatever he needs, Ever has many issues that need to be taken care of and disappears for a while.

BB brings health issues and abuse to the forefront of this book and has these characters deal with things before they find their love. That is what I loved about this book more than anything.

This book has to be a satire. I hate writing bad reviews. So I won't. I will let the book tell you.

What drives me crazy about this book. I quit counting after the 20th time.
--I’m so angry I can barely breathe. I’m sinking into a deep black pit, pregnant and alone and married to my best friend and so terrified I can barely move a muscle.
--But that’s not how it happened. I got pregnant by accident by the worst person I’ve ever met, who happens to be my husband and also my best friend.
--We’re married and we f**k but we’re supposedly just friends and the relationship isn’t real.
--Pregnant. Fu***ng hell. I got my best friend pregnant. My fake wife. The love of my fu***ng life.
--I know that I’m wallowing, but I guess I don’t care. I’m pregnant by my best friend and we’re also technically married, although that’s a lie, and eventually our lies are going to catch up with us, and…

Then there is this. I went the rehab because " But I’ve been partying and drinking and doing coke my whole f**king life and I need to prove to myself that I won’t just keep being a stupid a**hole.” He went to rehab for ONE week? Poof he is cured? Seriously?

Another thing. She is a physics teacher. School starts at 8. Yet she says this..... “No, she called me.” I pause for a second. “At seven in the morning.” He chuckles. “She’s probably been awake for hours waiting to call. Seven is plenty late in her mind.” I sigh. “I’d better get used to that.”
Get used to it?"

Ever says this...." I need to keep showing up, prove that I’m a serious candidate"....I believe showing up for work is a requirement. Is he dense?

Read the book or don't. I think this was written for a comedy relief

Did not finish.I read 73% to give it a chance. It's actually a short story considering that I read that much in so little time. I did not like the characters at all. Supposedly, they are best friends, but she didn't know he had a cocaine issue and he left her for 3 weeks with no word right after they married to go to rehab and then buy and remodel a house for them. Then she doesn't tell him she's pregnant.(Still hasnt told him at 73%). They really don't seem to be like best friends or even friends at all. More like acquaintances that got married because he had to in order to get an inheritance. Crude language during sex scenes. Seems to be more about sex than actual story.

Forever and always

I really enjoyed reading this story and loved the best friends to lovers theme.
Who knew doing your best friend a favour would completely change your life and give you a perfect HEA.
These two were absolutely perfect for each other and they gave the other exactly what they needed.
It also helped that it's hot as hell and sizzled my kindle.
You really need to buy/borrow this book asap.

I started out really liking this book. I love the friendship between them but then it just took a turn for the bad for me. I found that the smut scenes were not very well written and I didn't care for the back and forth between the two. I liked that there was some substance other than just love and romance, i.e. his dad being ill and the two brothers pinning for the company. I am hoping that the next book in this series gives me a little bit more. Thankfully this was a quick and easy read.

The MCs are supposed to be best friends, yet we see no signs of that friendship. The sex isn't steamy at all - just spanking, hair pulling and rough pounding. The characters are undeveloped. This book did not come anywhere near the potential shown in the summary.

Best friends finally hooking up...

3.5 bumping to 4 stars. If you like a quick read, friends to lovers, and of course a dirty talking baby daddy this one might just hit the spot.

Ever and Amy have secretly been in love with each other. But neither has ever said anything and now Ever has asked her to marry him to help him gain control of his family business.

Ever and Amy grew up together and are best friends, when he needs a favor to help him keep the family business, Amy agrees to marry him. When it becomes more than fake, Amy ends up pregnant. What will happen when Ever learns the truth. Fast-paced steamy read with plenty of drama. Great read and such a great connection between Ever and Amy. I liked it.

Not for me

If you’re looking for a book where the lead characters have sex every 15-20 pages, this is the book for you. However, if you’re looking for an actual story, then not so much.
There is sort of a plot. Everett is a total douchecanoe who drinks, takes drugs, screws around, and disappears for weeks at a time. His brother is married, has kids, and works at the family company every day. He’s also a scum bag, but the father thinks that he has family values because he doesn’t know he sleeps around, takes drugs, etc. When their father has a stroke and is at death’s door, he names the brother as CEO even though Everett is the oldest. Suddenly Everett decides this isn’t fair and hatches a plan to marry his best friend Amy to prove to dad that he’s an upstanding guy.
I wouldn’t recommend this book and I doubt if I’ll read more from this author.

I have just one advice before you read this book: Don't read it .

Still not convinced..... Reasons for aforementioned advice are below🤓

I don't how this book got that many good reviews, it was just Blah!🥱

1. They said it is best friend to lovers novel:- 🙄yeah we don't get to see the friendship aspect other than her agreeing to marry him and even that seems like due to her one sided love for him. So if you are searching friendship you won't get it.

2. They said He was alpha hero:- Really He was not..... If anything he was lazy ass person. I mean he wanted to be CEO of the company that his father owned but he didn't even bother to do his homework..... He didn't even know who was what in the company, I get that his brother was setting obstacles in his path but knowing who was who was just a simple information he could have just googled it. What was he expecting just because he was older they would be waiting for him with flowers and garlands. I mean he didn't even bother to go to do his job there why wouldn't they favor his brother who was putting in some work and showing up.

3. The Hero was just plain stupid.... Just one thing he had going was he was good looking and rich ( that doesn't make him a alpha hero)

4. Female lead seemed tolerable for a while but then she got pregnant and seemed surprised by pregnancy....why? I mean they didn't use any protection or even though about using protection. She was a physics teacher so should be intelligent enough to understand that after having unprotected sex you get a baby. What was she expecting to get a Ginnie out of it!?

5. If you are here for smut and story doesn't bother you that much then let me tell you reading intimate scenes felt like reading worse cliché porn you have ever seen put into words. 🤮

This is one awesome steamy friends to lovers story about Ever and Amy. These two have been friends since grade school. Amy getting an all paid education at the private school and Ever coming from a extremely wealthy family takes a liking to her on the first day, becoming best friends! Ever is one confident jerk, thinks of himself, loves woman and does whatever he wants but also comes back to spend time with Amy. One day Ever finds out his dad’s health is extremely bad and in order for Ever to get the top position in the biggest outdoor adventure company he knows he needs to change his ways or his younger brother, Whit will get it. Once you meet Whit you know he does not deserve it at all. Ever comes up with a plan to marry Amy for a while and get the job and take care of her after, Amy can not believe the offer and tells him no way about the money and once he talks her into marrying him she knows he needs her help. It’s refreshing to see who BB shows us that each Ever and Amy have feelings for one another and each have their hang ups about telling the other, very mature. They marry quickly and get a promise from his father he can get the company but he has to stayed marry for a year with no cheating and must work everyday and stay with Amy. These two have a journey that has its ups and downs and a road to finding exactly what they need along with some very interesting twist from everyone around them. i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of best friends Ever and Amy. Ever learns his father plans to give control of his company to his younger brother because he is married and has a family, over Ever, who is a playboy. Ever always thought he would get the company and after his father has a stroke, he asks Amy to marry him as a way to show his father he is responsible. Amy agrees to the fake marriage because she knows how much the company means to Ever, and how much of a jerk his brother is. They get married and the have too much to drink on their wedding night, leading to them sleeping together. Afterwards, Ever disappears for three weeks. Amy is furious, until Ever returns and explains. They set out to convince the board of the company to back Ever and they grow even closer. Amy realized she was pregnant and she wanted to tell Ever, but she thought he would leave her. Amy always loved Ever, but didn't think she was his type, and unknown to her, Ever loves her, but thought she was too good for him. I really enjoyed this book. I loved how dominate Ever was with Amy and how he loved her, even if he didn't realize it. Amy supported Ever and wanted the best for him from the beginning. Good one.

Not a really secret baby,

but close enough. I don’t think not telling your fake husband that you’re pregnant in the first two months of pregnancy really counts as a secret baby. The first trimester anything can happen and when it’s an unexpected first pregnancy, you are grappling with some major thoughts and changes and personal decisions, that it’s completely understandable to keep it to yourself for those early weeks until your ready to share with the baby daddy regardless of whatever your relationship status is. So again, NOT really a secret baby.

Still it was a nice enough story. A little shallow in terms of depth of characters. The MMC was very frivolous in his friendship with the FMC. He picked her up and put her down when it was convenient. While the FMC was simply grateful for what she got. Both characters were written as intelligent people so this behavior doesn’t track. A lot of things weren’t discussed and the relationship came about to to infrequent s e x. I liked the story but I felt it dragged on a few points and therefore was mildly lacking in true emotional connection.

Not a bad story by any means. It was well written. Could have been longer if more depth had been thrown in. Still, a decent story. Enjoy.

Love in the field of power war

I received this book as a ARC from the author and loved it, hence voluntarily reviewing it. The story is simple, Amy and Everest are best friends from their middle school for almost 16 years now. Everest's father wants to give away the power to his younger son, who poses as a family man though he is someone else behind the family. Everest comes with a proposition to Amy, more like reaches her out to help him becoming his wife. Both loved each other always but in a fear of losing the other, they never expressed their telling to each other. But has a married couple, they explore their carnal dreams about each other. This makes the life (and the book) very hot and results in Amy getting pregnant. But the following events makes her hesitant to reveal about it to him. How Everest handles the truth and how he manages to gain power over the company is the story.
It's a smooth love story with siblings power game, not much of villainism, just the situations and secret threats the leading pair's relationship and they easily come over it. I loved it and recommend to all 18+ readers.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a volutnary and honest review.

In this book we meet Amy and Everest "Ever" Bloom. Ever is made to have his family outdoor company but because he doesn't portray the correct image his father is going to give it to his brother. Ever has a plan though marry his best friend what could go wrong right. She knows his family they all love her and it could give him the leg up he needs to get the company he has dreamed of running all his life. Amy has had a crush on her best friend for years now. So when he proposes this deal shes pretty sure she won't make it out of this with her heart in tackt by the end but for him she would do anything. Can these two find their HEA or will the fact that they started on a lie destroy any chance they ever had?

This is another amazing book by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I loved this book. Amy and Everett are amazing together. They are deliciously steamy, sexy AF and explosive. Little did these besties know that each of them harbor deep feelings for the other and when Ever needs help keeping his place in his father’s company he turns to Amy who he’s always counted on. Amy will go that extra mile for Ever because she loves him even though he doesn’t deserve it, he’s a jerk, he runs, he drinks and sleeps around, no one woman will ever get him to change his ways. Well, never say never is all I’ve got to say. When their ruse begins, lines are drawn in the sand and shouldn’t be crossed as their friendship is very important to them, but one-night together changes everything and neither of them know what to do. Their story is fun, the banter is great, and you can’t help but root for Ever to be a better man. Will Ever fight his brother for his position in the company and will he fight for the only woman he’s really ever loved? No spoilers from me, loved this book, it’s a must read.

#FriendsToLovers #MoC #SurprisePregnancy #Novella
Continuing what seems to be a trend this month, this was my first book by this author. I picked up this book in 2020. I was looking for an unread book I purchased that year and this one jumped out. It was a perfect evening read. Written in first person from an alternating dual POV, it is a standalone that ends with a HEA.
I love the marriage of convenience and surprise pregnancy tropes. When you add in friends to lovers, I know I have to read it. Unfortunately, this one got buried on my kindle for a while. Amy is a high school physics teacher. She and Ever have been good friends since middle school. Though his proposal was not all that grand she accepted. Lines are quickly crossed with long term consequences. It was a spicy read that just felt a little too short. I would have liked more character development shown on the page. Ever makes some huge changes and Amy seemed overly accepting of the changes that rapidly occur in her life. It was fast and fun.

Ever and Amy are best friends and have been for years. When he needs help she is the one he turns to. This time its for help getting the family company and he needs her to marry him. Amy thinks he is joking until he doesn't laugh and when he explains why he needs her help she agrees. However neither of them expect their attraction to become an issue until they couldn't keep their hands off of each other. Ever gets some help within the company to take his brother out of control but things between him and Amy start getting awkward. What will he do once he learns that they are having a baby? Will they be able to make their relationship work?

This is a great story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This was a great best friends story. Amy and Ever are so perfect for each other. They have been best friends since their Freshman year of high school. They both have strong feelings for each other, but have kept their feelings to themselves. When Ever needs a big favor Amy can’t say no, even before finding out what he needs. In order for Ever and not his brother become CEO of the family business, Ever needs to show he is family oriented. He needs Amy to marry him and prove he isn’t the screw up and playboy his father and brother think he is. It helps that his family loves Amy already and they know everything about each other. It makes this fake marriage more believable. These two have undeniably hot chemistry. They try to keep their feelings out of it, but that just doesn’t seem to take. This is a great best friends to lovers story. I loved all the characters, except his ______ of a brother.

What could go wrong whenyoumarryyour best friend just for the sake of him inheriting his family's company? I mean it snot like it will start tofeelrea, right? Oh, it does. That's fine, it's not like youllgetpregnant, right? Oh....

Yup, this story is about what happens when two best friends get married as a ruse, get physical and then get pregnant. But she's afraid to tell him, what if he runs? But, what if he doesn't?

The characters of Amy and Ever are fun.... theytruly dig each other in and out of bed. They need to communicate better though. Their story entertains and satisfies though.

Everest and Amy have been friends since childhood. He comes from a wealthy family that owns an outdoor equipment business, and as part of an effort to inherit the leadership of the business, he needs a wife, and asks Amy. The marriage comes long before love – and how they move through the different stages, including the coming of a baby, make for an interesting and fast paced story. Both characters are strong – especially Amy – and are interesting to read about. The story of their developing love for each other is filled with a lot of energetic sex and some interesting family interactions involving the two of them and other family members.
