Loved this!

You had me at carnival, Rob. This is the second book I’ve read from this author. Being a total sucker for county fairs, I felt like I was walking the midway, watching through the authors eyes as the chaos ensued. A thrilling read and looking forward to delving into more in the future. Wow, just scary good wow.

I don't read superhero books often, but this one was different than your normal superhero stories. I can easily recommend this book especially with the fact the characters are relatable. I really love the female sidekick, hehe. I heard the author is coming out with book 2. I look forward to it!

Very imaginative, fantastical, and action packed! This book is the ultimate battle between good and evil! A lot of twists and turns, the last few chapters especially were spectacular and it has me looking forward to the sequel. Can't wait to find out what happens to Tanya and Crystal. Great story and character development!

This author does a great job with detail and sucking you in. He makes you feel like you are right there with the characters. I really like how he evolved each character within the story. I had a hard time putting this book down. I can’t wait for the rest of the series! Great job!

This is one action packed paranormal adventure. Plenty of demons, possession, and people touched by the light. Except, they don't know the rules. Written in the first person, you are John, a teenager who is ripped from school life into a battle between good and evil while suffering through a first love.

This is book one of a series, so don't expect the loose ends to be tied up...you'll have to wait for a later book.

I enjoyed it. It's a page turner...and there are lots of pages to read.
Can't wait for book two.

This book was amazing. It's a shame I can't give it 6 stars. The author has created an immersive world, successfully tapping in to the teenage psyche, creating a compelling landscape in which to pit the forces of darkness against the forces of light. In hindsight, I wish I bought the entire series and read it straight through. I can't wait to dive into the sequel.
