Dare Wild Child is the first of the Dare series that Christy Mckellen has written, with being my first book from the Dare collection. Although Dare Wild Child is Christy’s first Dare book, she has published many other titles. Dare you to read on? Yes of course you are! This story is hot and high on providing Maya Darlington-Hume as a powerful sexual young lady. Maya needed to steal time to pleasure herself in her bath, but what she didn’t bargain for is to be watched by a stranger, Benedict Chivers. What Maya wasn’t aware of is that Benedict is her fathers business associate and her new boss. Maya Darlington-Hume was to work as a market leader in Benedict Chivers multi -million pound software company. Of course there is a reason why Benedict has agreed to Maya working for him. I loved Maya’s wild child character, she doesn’t like being ignored and will go to any lengths to get Benedict’s attention. I really enjoyed every page reading Dare Wild Child, I’d recommend it to all Mills and Boon fans or for any reader that likes reading hot under the collar books. If you find that Dare are your main choice of Mills and Boon books for reading, you can belong to the Mills and Boon book club and receive your new titles before they hit the shops and further more you get them sent directly to you free of postage.

Maya didn't know that the man who walks in while she is in the tub pleasuring herself is Benedict Chivers her fathers new business partner and the man that will teach her to how to run a business. Her father needs to go away so has asked Ben to work with Maya before he lets her use her trust fund to start up her Jewelry business. Sound simple but not really as Maya has lots of issues. She is distant with her family as she believes her sister April hates her over the death of her mother. As she works with Ben she finds out that all is not what it seems with the relationship with her sister. So many misconceptions but lots of steamy moments between Maya and Ben. A scorching hot lovely book you won't want to miss.

I love the DARE series. These books are ones that you can just curled up with on the couch or a beach and just fly through it and enjoy every second of it.
Wild Child is such a fun book that is filled with drama, attraction and more.
Maya is a party girl. She is trying to get her distant fathers attention. She wants him to take her jewellery business seriously. The more he ignores the more she her party antics get out hand. After Benedict walks in on her, she agrees to work at his company to prove to her father that she is good enough to start her own business with her trust fund.
Benedict is Maya's fathers associate and also her new boss and she wants him. She turns up the heat every time they are together and Benedict feels the attraction. He wants her as much as she wants him. As time passes Benedict finds out more and more about Maya, the Maya she hides from everyone, her true self. She is afraid she will loose everything but, is she willing to try it all for the chance at happiness and finally having her dreams come true?
I love these characters and just enjoyed every second of it! Maya is willing to do anything to get what she wants and isn't afraid to be loud about it but, behind that she is someone who is scared and constantly blames herself for her mother's death and wants to get her fathers love.
This book is a page-turner and one that you won't want to miss. It is fun, drama filled and of course quite steamy. If you love other Dare books you will LOVE this one!

This is Christy McKellen’s first book for the Harlequin Dare line and what a story it is, it rocks, sexy, steamy and really moving, this one is a page turner and if you like some hot sex with a great story then this book is for you.
Maya Darlington-Hume is the life of a party, she has her reasons for being so wild and this tends to push her father a little bit but she wants to take a different path in her life and her father is pushing her to learn, to be a little more like her sisters, but when she is naked in a bath tub and a gorgeous stranger walks in on her, her life is about to change you see Maya is drawn to this stranger like she has never been drawn to man before.
Benedict Chivers has worked his way up from the bottom and he has no plans to go back there again, but he needs help from Mr Darlington-Hume to put his IT company on the map, but when he walks in on his daughter the beautiful and feisty Maya, he is hard pressed to keep his hands off her, and it is a fight of emotions as to whether Maya will convince him to live a little.
This is one hot story, keep a fan at the ready but the emotions that fly off the pages are just so moving and Maya and Ben deserve to have the best, they are a match made in heaven and when cupid fires that arrow nothing is going to stop them from reaching that tower of love together, this is a story that I highly recommend, and I do look forward to Maya’s sisters stories. Thank you MS McKellen for a fabulous story.

Steamy sex and a story with a lot of heart! It's all supposed to be sex between them, but each one has a back story that draws us deeper into their lives and enriches their connection. A fast read loaded with lots of fun!

Wow! Talk about HOT. From the very first paragraph, this book starts off with a sexy scene, and then they keep on a-coming. (heh-heh... that really wasn't intentional...)
BUT... it's much more than that. The characters are well-developed, (and I don't just mean their bodies) the plot's captivating, and parts of the story may even break your heart a little and make you cry.
What can I say? This definitely isn't the kind of Harlequin romance I read forty years ago, but it still has the same warm and fuzzy feeling. Just with a little... no, make it a lot... more heat.

Christy McKellen’s first Dare romance is explosive! Benedict and Maya fit together like puzzle pieces. The author paints a seductive, madly riveting picture of her characters that grab you instantly. I savored every moment of this story and never in my could I wrap my head around the fact that Ms McKellen also writes sweet romance for Mills & Boon Cherish! Wild Child is the perfect escape read and one I highly recommend!!
