Colorful pages, a beloved character, and low amount of text make this board book a win for you toddlers with short attention spans. There are quite a few pages with sound words “nom nom! Crash! La la la, etc) which are fun for little ones. The first half of the book was good but then it went into quite a few pages about Cookie Monster playing instruments which doesn’t seem to actually be a part of his character from my knowledge. So it felt a bit random because of that.

I feel that this book is fun, but doesn't fully explore cookie monster. There are about 4 pages about him playing musical instruments. uh im not sure that's really exploring what we love about cookie monster and feels more like filler. However as first mentioned still a fun read.

Cute, simple, easy to remember. My 2 year old could basically read it to me after looking through it twice.

One of our favorite boards books of the year. just long enough to hold a 1 year old's attention.

While there isn't a whole lot of text in this board book spotlighting Cookie Monster, it has the same chaotic energy as this beloved Sesame Street character does and my toddler loved it.

Goofy random book—The book uses brilliant colors and everyday activities familiar to toddlers, capturing their interests and holding their high attention.

This one was an easier read than Grover’s book. Probably a good starter for my son once he starts to learn reading on his own but for now, I’ll enjoy reading to him while I can

Teaches you not to eat phones. Cookies are probably not best to glamorize.

Smaller number of friend cameos in this one - no Bert, Ernie, or Count, for example. And Mommy doesn’t love that Cookie sleeps with his cookies! But there’s a great page acknowledging that “fruit is yummy too.” 🤣

This book series is so sweet! A dear friend bought us the elmo book and somehow we have ALL of them now. Between Elmo and the Count, we read those two easily 100 times each and then needed to have a few other books in the rotation.

I like the Cookie Monster book, but in comparison to the other stories, this one and Abby's story are just a little too simple. I wish they would've given them a few additional words, and a bit more meaning. I have a feeling our toddler would've liked the story more then.

It's simple, and we don't even watch Sesame Street, but Heather loved it.
