Finishing our first year at Witchling Academy brings a wave of new experiences. Now with Semester Three approaching it's time for me to decide what path I want to walk as I enter young adulthood.
I, Brianne Marie Harlow, am now dating the Notorious Four. It's still quite a shock in my mind, but to be surrounded by my supportive family and friends, it's become something life changing for me and my four amazing boyfriends - Jax, Connor, Finnick, and Kaito.
With summer break, brings moments of adventure and exploration, as I begin to figure out what I want in this group relationship and deal with my own insecurities. Adding my new familiar to the mix and having two amazing best friends to help me figure out the goods and bads about dating, summer goes by like a breeze.
Semester Three is where things start getting messy.
When the professors warned us about the change in dynamic with year one to year two, we never would have thought it would escalate to magic battles, car chases, and end us in the middle of a magic crime case.
Adding the continuous bullying, old memories, girl jealousy, and issues developing within my own team, we're going to have to stick tightly together or we'll be pulled apart forever.
Thankfully, I won't let that happen. If I'd have to be the middle ground to keep my Notorious Four from tearing apart, I'd do it right here and now.
All in the name of protecting the people I love.
Now let's all pray this goes as well as it does in my head.
Quick Info Standalone/Cliffhanger?: Standalone Part of a Series?: Yes ---------------------------------- Meeting the Characters Brianne Marie Harlow ---------------------------------- What happens? Brianne is on her third semester. Shes grown in more ways than one and is looking forward to a semester with her best friends and boyfriends. However the man that killed her sister's partner shows up and it becomes clearer she is there for bigger things. Final thoughts 4 stars feels too much but 3 seems too low. This is a good read but, Brianne is still very immature. The boys don't seem to take her seriously and this feels very YA in feeling rather than adult which is kind of what I assumed this was at the start. I'll keep reading this series just to see where it goes but this is the third book and nothing really happens aside from the last few chapters. The gay issue is a side thing and while interesting to see addressed not very exciting in terms of what this author should be bringing to the world. I do think that the whole multiple partners and them being not all the same gender is very interesting and I do enjoy that part of it. I'd have been curious to have Brianne with a girl as well as the boys but that is just personal preference. Would I read again?: Yes Would I read this author again?: Yes
Bri is really coming into her own now!! We pick up during the summer break after semester 2 with them all relaxing, recovering, and spending time together before school starts again. When it does oh buddy does the drama start as Elijiah and Elisha just cannot stop. Add in some bad guys and an epic final exam to get one explosive story that you won't be able to put down. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
Better than book 2 , however I still can’t understand why the inner monologue since the MC says all what she thinks not the opposite, too much preaching and repetition of the same dialogue with other characters, I don’t feel the academy since the actual lessons are not mentioned ?

Welcome to Semester Three with Bri and her harem of boyfriends, her two best friends, and her adorable familiar Elsa. It's a break in between the semesters so everyone is enjoying themselves and having fun. Brianne is getting closer to her guys and enjoying her time with her two new best friends and their familiars. While everyone is having a good time it's not all sunshine and happy times. Problems are brewing inside of the crew and of course when school starts back...the drama hits full force from all sides. As there is more to come to the question arises...can Brianne and her boyfriends handle this and come out the other side? I thoroughly enjoyed Witchling Academy 3 and I am pleased that there is some development with Brianne as a character. She's still pretty "naive" but with some help from the twins, she's learning a few things and coming out of that a bit at a time. I loved that I got to learn more about the guys in this book. Jax's history and a story about his sister come out as well as the truth about things with Elisha. There are absolutely some heartbreaking moments in this story, but they help to balance out some of the more juvenile aspects of it as well. I'm so happy that Elsa and Luna don't have tiny roles in this story either. They are so cute and I love how the author has them interacting together so well and caring for each other. Also, I know it's silly as it's literally a blip in the story but the fact that the author has Brianne use a song from BTS as her routine...I nearly fell out I squealed so hard. I'm a huge fan of them and loved that the author incorporated that into the story regardless of how small it is. While Brianne does grow a bit in this story, I'm still a bit annoyed at how naive she is. She's almost 18, but she doesn't act like. I think I'd get it more if she had led a sheltered life, was home-schooled and kept in a bubble, but that's not the case. There is a lot of drama in this story, and a lot of truth comes out, but we don't see the aftermath of it. I'm a bit disappointed because it feels like there is a gap in the story because of it. The author puts a lot of focus on it the scene, but then nothing comes of it. There is a lot going on in this book and not all of it has to do with Brianne which I really liked. This book is full of drama and crazy situations, but I'm looking forward to more and less of "naive" Brianne. I'm honestly hopeful that we'll get to know some of the fall-outs from a couple of situations the author gives us and then walks away from. I am rating this book 4.5 out of 5 stars. Brianne is still a bit too naive for me to be believable, but I love how so many of the characters bloom and how karma comes back for a couple as well. I'm looking forward to more of the new characters added in and hope that they and the twins won't get sidelined. This book does end on a crazy cliffhanger so just prepare yourself. I can't wait for semester 4!
three books in a day. i'm innocently giving this book 2 innocent start because the female lead apparently is so innocent. the entire book is filled with i innocently looked, i innocently asked, i innocently this, i innocently that. way too many innocents.
reading the fourth book only for finny. i wanna know why he's dropping out. poor guy.
This series has kept me on my toes since the first book. Every time I think I might know what happens next, a twist happens that throws me off. I am loving this series. I just wish this book had been longer.
What an exciting semester of the Witchling Academy. Bri is back and growing into a beautiful young woman. There's love, laughter, and an exciting ending with a cliff hanger leaving you wanting more. Looking forward to semester 4.
Very Stilted Writing But A Good Story!😒💔😢🙏🌹 (Read using Kindle Unlimited)
I've really enjoyed this series so far & this Author's writing in general. In the first 2/3 of this book, however, it's flow was very stilted, almost disjointed as though it was it was being translated from another language & not quite getting it right!!😔😕 I don't know what happened as I haven't had this issue with any other of the Author's books?! It did smooth out eventually, thankfully, but it definitely affected my enjoyment of the book.
The majority of the story focused on Brianne & her guys getting emotionally closer & with Jax especially, physically. This is a snail's pace slow burn RH as Brianne is portrayed as extremely naive for her age of seventeen. I'm totally on board with going at everyone's individual pace, especially as she has zero experience. I do get frustrated by her complete lack of knowledge on any topic that isn't academic or about Sailor Moon though.😳 Even her own physical responses are a mystery to her - Thank goodness for Miya & Mia!!🙌🙈
My heart broke for Fennick throughout this book 😭💔 I hope they can all step up & help him!🙏💘 I loved the pace once they returned to school & look forward to the next book!🌟
I don’t mind when an author tries to build morale through her book with her audience. But this book had way too much dialogue about how to deal with bullies, suicide, sexual peer pressure etc. etc. My problem was that it wasn’t internal dialogue many of the times. The lead kept preaching to other students and people. And they just stood there and listen while she went on and on. It’s just not realistic to me. I honestly don’t think teenagers have the attention span for all that. The author is trying to speak to so many different types of audiences about the many different pitfalls of youth that I think she is alienating them at the same time.
I think author should dial it back a little bit. Lets the reader enjoy the storyline and the characters more. Instead of telling us why suicide is bad, bullying is bad, and peer pressure is bad etc.
This RH series is a slow burn. This book Brianne started getting more confidence and broke out of her shell some. Enjoying the slow buildup to her relationship with N4. Really great book, excited for the next one in the series.
Halfway through and I was just bored. A bit of dating, some hanging out... I guess it did show a bit of the slow build of her relationships with the boys and her new best friends, but... yeah. The most interesting bits were the underwear-stealing kitten and a kiss between two boys.
Way too much boring crap about clothes and makeup. And cheerleading ffs. Could it get more cliche?
Yes. Yes, it could.
So suddenly the girls are just so HOT and everyone wants to date them! Cutesy twin names. More bullying, this time anti-gay rather than slut-shaming. Then a cheery anti-bullying reversal. Because the popular yet scary football player said he was bi and pretended to kiss his friend! And so everyone can love whoever they want!! It isn't anyone else's business!!! YAYYY!!!! And we're not going to spread mean nasty rumours anymore...
Yup.
And the finale? I skipped over a lot of it TBH. Overdramatic and ridiculous.
The only part that really touched was the part where the guy was struggling with his private life and loss.
Enough. What started as a fun light NA read is really teenage bumf 😒
SYNOPSIS (of Books 1-6): This story is set in a world where magic and non magic users all live together. The FC is a strong witch with a gift of mimicking other‘s magic and travelling to places. The Books cover the FC, Brianne, and her best friend going to Witchling Academy together and the FC meeting 4 MCs for whom she falls. The Books cover the development of the FCs relationship with the MCs and the issues she has with the resident mean girl, her best friend and being bullied. As they progress they go into the deeper reason for the existence of the Witchling Academy and the existence of Gods and Goddesses.
🌶️/🍆🍆 - there are minimal sex scenes and those that there were I found to be quite cringeworthy I‘m afraid.
The story is fine and there are not too many typos and editing issues. My main dislikes were the juvenile dialogue and the characters who came across as very young. I enjoy academy books and maybe this is just aimed at a much younger audience.
The men are passive and there‘s a lot of new man crying and male angst. I‘m afraid I like the MCs to be strong and more alpha and these 4 MCs were the opposite. The FC is portrayed as very innocent to the extent that she apparently doesn‘t know anything about sex and is completely ignorant of when people like her. Considering she is 17 to begin with that just comes across as nonsensical. With books, TV and everything else no girl can remain so ignorant of sex. The result, I found was that the FC just came across as completely unbelievable and not very bright. As examples, a group says about Elijah and Elisha “they’re going to do it” and Bri’s internal monologue has her saying “Do What? … don’t tell me they’re going to do that whole “where babies come from” thing?” (cringe); In the same scene she’s called a who%e and her internal monologue has her asking what that is and “is that similar to that slut word?” 🙄
The relationships are insta like/love with yet another FC suddenly considered the centre of the MC‘s universe simply because the author says so with no evidence given to support why. There‘s alot of emphasis on bullying and how damaging it is but the author doesn‘t really seem to do anything more than go on about bullying with at least 2 of the main characters suffering from it.
The author also seems to have a thing about twins and those twins having almost exactly the same names - what on earth is that about? There are 3 main sets of twins called Mia&Miya; Akino&Akono; and Kito&Koyo - seriously? It’s as if the author wanted them to be one dimensional and lacking individuality.
Whilst the books are well written I lost interest around Book 3 and skim read more and more before giving up at Book 6 when things just became too confusing and, for me, ridiculous when you discover the deeper meaning to Jax & Brianne and Witchling Academy.
Our little innocent heroine is becoming a butterfly in this book. Her relationship with the guys are getting better but I spoke too soon when I’ve read the ending.
So, we get to see the Park twins more and I loved the way they support Bri and her them especially when Bri helped with hooking them up with their own men. I know that there would be a story for them and can’t wait.
Back to Bri, so not much happened in the beginning but just their relationships and with the academy being in the middle. There was still some bullying going on and we learned something about Elisha and I hoped she gets whatever punishment she deserves.
I actually though I would see some positive developement between Finnick and his first crush but it would probably take until the next book due to some ongoing problems which I don’t like to spoil. I felt for Finnick with his current situation especially more at the end. I hope the gang does something about and his first crush would finally confess or kiss him back especially knowing about his older sister. I had an inkling about Starlight but I am very happy for her.
At this point, Elijah would probably be just a supporting character and not be part of Bri’s harem and I’m happy to say I’m fine with although I hope they would at least remain friends at some point.
So, there’s more for Bri than the academy with that small tidbit mentioned. I can’t wait to follow Bri’s journey and hope for an upgrade with the steamy scenes with guys especially with Finnick and his other crush.
I think this kind of books Fetishize m/m, is like they are a hot scenario for some people. I really don't know why someone will read a RH to see the guys together. If i wanted that, i would read a gay book. It always feels like a excuse, like a reason for the relationship to work and it is not like that even in the polyamory world. Polyandry is real guys.
I was liking until the m/m in the third book became, and the fist 30% of that same book is so overly emotional, teenage thing is just too realistic and too late(she's 18 at this point). I don't know if stops, i will not continue.
It is not a perfect series but what i didn't like i was able to ignore until this point. I was having more fun than i was being bother, the m/m it is really what ended for me. So i leave here the warn i would have liked to have received.
The erotic literature is mostly homosexual and that's ok. What is not is that this is obviously a book intended for women why can we outrun the homosexual theme? Why a woman will be interest in share? boy or girl? That's the fun of harems right ? That's the fantasy, be shared without share, and if is not and i am the only one who see some ideological problems in it. Well just warns and i will not loose my time.
It is always hit or miss with me, and i don't like that it goes with my luck, right now i'm in a miss wave. Is there a place where people informs themselves about m/m? I really want to avoid. Help!
“I love your tattoos, and I like how you love sweets and unicorns. When you wear your unicorn slippers especially, it makes me want to hug you like a teddy bear." ——————————————————————————————————————— Wow, this book was such a ride. I absolutely adored the characters, the world, and the storyline. To be honest, I was not sure what to think about this book when I first started it but as soon as the story got to the academy I was hooked. I read the first three books back to back and literally could not stop. I did not want to sleep. ——————————————————————————————————————— What I loved about this book was how the men in this book were not the stereotypical men that I am used to reading about. All four men were manly but they all enjoyed bright colours, unicorns, dancing, and so much more. Two of the guys wore unicorn and kitty slippers and I loved it. I do not think I’ve ever read a book were the men are like that. We need more books with men like these guys. It was refreshing to read a book that had men like this. They were truly themselves and did not give a shit about what people thought about them. I fell in love with Jax, Conner, Kaito, and Finnick. These four guys own my heart. ——————————————————————————————————————— Avery Song did an amazing job writing this book. This book and the next two books in the series gets 4 stars from me. I’m looking forward to reading more by this author.
First of all, this must be stated! Best book of the series to date! 💕 I really enjoyed the other books in this series, but Avery took this book to a whole new level!
In this book, Brianne found her strength and confidence to become the strong female leader that her men needed her to be. She quit accepting others feelings and opinions on her growth and maturity and started to listen to her friends and loved ones. She finally feels comfortable in her own skin, and at almost 18, that’s a huge feat for anyone, much less someone who has been sheltered her whole life.
Her men are also changing and growing, thanks in part to the addition of Brianne to their group. They each have areas of growth and opportunities to reach them, if they only allow themselves to truly trust and accept the new group dynamics.
As they go through the third year of the academy, they all realize that things are changing; not only with their group, but within their individual families. Some growth has a positive influence, but an unexpected loss has one member of the group teetering on the brink of making a life changing decision that could adversely affect them all!
If you enjoy action, adventure and straight up sexy men, then this is a book you won’t want to miss! Download this book now! Then find a quiet corner to hide in, this is one book you won’t want to put down!
Okay, I could(and really want to) just sit here and gush over this entire book. BUT instead I’m going to sum up exactly why it deserves to be way more popular.
1) Healthy relationships. From boyfriends, to best friends, to sisters and soon to be mother in laws? *suggestively raises eyebrows* All of Bri’s relationships and built on trust and respect and NOT ONCE has the miscommunication trope been used. Mad respect for -uh...all the respect.
2) Period rep! It is already a good day when a book character even mentions periods. But for Bri to actually sit and have a conversation with a GUY about them?! And it wasn’t an embarrassing thing, it was just the two talking and it made my soul happy.
3) Different sexualities rep! Bri’s whole speech about loving who you want? Connor stepping in and saving Finnick, not caring if others judged him for his personal decisions? UMMMM-YES.
4) Very hot guys Errr...I mean a great magic system! It didn’t t feel dumped on you, and it actually aided the plot without overpowering it. And I Love Bri’s power. Brings me back to being five and playing make believe and proudly announcing: ‘I have the power of all powers!’
PLEASE.PLEASE.PLEASE. READ THIS SERIES! They are pretty short too! I promise that if you have taste you won’t regret it!

What can I say about this book?! I am wordless. The Witchling books are growing in pace with Bri, so we see more mature attitude and themes occurring in this story. I loved that the start was about summer time and spending time together relaxing, going on dates and learning about each other. When we really start semester 3 Bri is more confident in herself and her boyfriends, the N4. Also, thanks to her BFFs the twins she is learning a lot of new things. We get a glimpse in what I guess the Twin books will be about (how many hot twins a school can have?). In more serious topics, we learn more about Jax’s sister and what happened to her, also more bullying happens this time related to sexual preferences when a rumor start in the beginning of the school year. The way Bri is dealing with each guy differently, shows how incredible she is. She is always trying to be present and helpful towards her friends and is more active against Elisha (loved that part, by the way) and others bullies. The action at the end was thrilling and raised a lot of questions about her power and capability, can’t wait for more. Can’t finish before saying yet again what a bunch of lovely familiars, Elsa and Luna are supper cute and powerful.
~REVIEW🖋 The Quick and Dirty: We continue to follow Brianne as she makes her way through Witchling Academy and is now dating the Notorious Four. She's made some girlfriends and we're slowly seeing her evolution to a less blindly-innocent teenager. The first three-quarters of the book again stems around building relationships, teenage angst and academy life but we finally see some action toward the end that may signal some big changes in book 4 and a change in tone from bubble-gum sweet innocence to something a little grittier. Excited!

Oh my goodness this book makes me happy, happy, happy 😊😊😊. Bri and The Notorious Four are up to their usual. Starting the summer of together at a private island. If only things could continue to go as smoothly. Once back in the real world of Witchling Academy, rumors once more abound and Elijah and his now ex are behind all the nastiness. Not to mention the evil behind the death off Starlight's fiance is on the loose and getting nearer by the second. Bri continues to be her wonderful, cheery, bada$$ self and continuing to speak out for the underdogs and bullied. More than a few things are going to change this semester (including Bri's continual growth spurts). Keep your eyes open for one heckuva magical brawl at the end including The Notorious Four, Bri, Starlight and more. Suffice to say the outcome changes a few things and leaves the reader with our mouth open! That's also a humdinger of a cliffhanger. ::::choosing my eyes and repeating::::::: "please hurry up and release Term 4 " 😉. Yumoyori Wilson and Avery Song NEVER disappoint! I love each and every release! To many more to come!!
It is not terrible. Not very good either, but there are worse novels out there.I mainly had 2 problems with this book. First-nothing really happens apart from last few pages. And second- the pop culture, style and fashion references. The world is supposedly in 3000 and some years, yet references like- Jeffrey Star,Anastasia Beverley Hills,Louboutin, Louise Vouton, Hunger games as well as several Kpop and anime series-get dropped constantly. Am I supposed to believe that in thousand years brands popular nowadays will still be at top? Very few brands are lucky to survive a century and most are forgotten in half that time.Author in her wish to connect with reader, harmed the story.Humans and technology have advanced, yet teenagers still gush over YouTube beauty bloggers. And books and movies. Please show me an average teenagers loving thousand year old books. It is so unrealistic that it actually made me cringe.Mistakes like that are unforgivable in world building. Other than that, there is no impression from the book.Yet it was easy read. Not the most entertaining, but passable.
That ending threw me, but had intrigued me enough I’m annoyed I am writing this review. I need to know how this will be fixed or will they just have to let it go? I loved how the guys stood up for everyone, including the fmc coming out of her shell. There might be a redemption for her ex best friend despite all the nasty crap he spread I can understand being lost without your bestie. Severing ties is hard especially if you grew up with someone. The guys were her support and this book you could tell the fmc was more confident, and didn’t sink to those low depths when there was hurtful gossip about her being talked about. I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next. The biggest issue I find in their relationship is that they hide really personal things you should share with those that love you. So they can support you to the fullest. The fmc learned that the guys were always supportive of her, whether it was about the bullying, schooling, just being the best guy friends they can be. I hope they can figure this out.
Our sweet Bri is growing up and it's such a fun and fierce journey to take with her and The Notorious Four! Semester 3 starts with summer break and I loved reading about all the connections and relationships strengthening. Especially with the addition of the twins, Bri finally gets a supportive and loving circle of friends, family, and boyfriends. Then school starts and our girl still has to deal with the typical bullying nonsense, buy she stays strong and true! When personal issues arise, she's supportive without being clingy and as Bri finally hits 18, we really begin to see her growth. There's plenty of action packed adventure as the team closes in on exams and real world dilemmas, and the courage written in the page is inspiring. With a curve ball thrown at the last minute, I can hardly wait for Semester 4!
First can I just say I LOVE Sailor Moon and need to get me my own jammies! Loved it since the 90s! So glad it got remade and is more like the manga!! Second is WOW!!! This book needs like 10 Stars!!!😍 I think this was the longest of Witchling Academy so far but it felt like it ended too soon!!! I need more!!! Book 3 blew my mind! I cant even think right now! I'm in major book hangover right now!!! I mean serious emotional roller coaster going on here! Not just me but I mean the book too! I cried for Finnick. Laughed at all of Briannes Shennigans. Felt excited that the twins may have found their own guys. And felt complete shock for that ending!!! Why do you do this to me Avery!!! Why!!! Now I gotta wait for book 4!!!
OMG....cliffhanger!! Okay, so this continues Bri's story with her guys. It starts off during their summer vacation where we get to learn more about each of them and their families. We then progress to the school year, where the bullying seems to have slowed down but not stopped. Elisha is still up to no good but I think Bri puts her in her place. Jax is still having problems with his magic overload but Bri seems to help. Conner is still her loveable teddy bear who stands strong for them all. Finnick finally faces his fears and confronts his first crush. Kaito is still confused and trying to work things out in his head. Overall, I loved this continuation and cannot wait to see what happens next! Will we be losing one of the notorious 4???
I love seeing Brianne grow up and gain confidence. Getting to see Brianne and her guys become an even stronger unit, not only in school but in battle was fantastic. I love going on the Journey with Brianne changing from and innocent person to a confident woman that stands up for herself. These changes that she is going through really describe the mindset from a teenager to and adult and how confusing it is. I like the realism in friendships turning into enemy wars and gaining new friends. I can’t wait to find out what happens next! There are some serious Loose ends that need to be tied! The sexuality fights and arguments and prejudices are a hard reality to swallow but I love The mixture. Avery Song you rock!
