The Hero: Ford - he is a vampire and best friend to Wake, a wolf shifter from the first book in this series. Ford knows who his mate is and has been waiting for her. He dated her a long time ago, but she left him for another man, who has recently died. He is 109 years old and his brother Solomon is 1500 years old. They live together.
The heroine: Sienna - she is a fox shifter and was dating Ford but was brought up by strict parents who thought vampires were abominations. They thought shifters should only mate within their kind and they set up an arranged marriage for her. She mated her husband, and they were true mates, but he died in the pack war. Since then, she has been in mourning and though she does feel a connection to Ford, she can’t believe she could have two life mates, so she worries her connection to Ford is some sort of affront to her feelings for her husband.
The Story: Basically Sienna feels that Ford is her mate, but she is afraid. Ford has been waiting for Sienna for a very long time and has been in love with her since they were young. Ford was a great character in the last book and I really liked him and you had to feel for him because of his situation with Sienna.
The world building and character development is great so far in this series. I love a world where a bunch of different paranormals exist and are friends. There are some great supporting characters in this series as well. The story is good, and I was glad they didn’t linger too long on the reasons they couldn’t be together. Though, like the first book, it is kind of a slow burn romance. Ford definitely doesn’t want to complete the bond before he knows Sienna is truly ready.
This audiobook was told in dual points of view via dual narration. It was narrated by Sarah Colton and Troy Duran. Both of these are terrific narrators and I really like both of their voices. Sara has a youthful sounding voice, and she speaks at a nice tempo. Troy has a deep voice which is perfect for any romantic Hero, and he always does a great job.

I love this series, characters and plots and how they blend together smoothly and close-knit. An epic love story that begins with desolation, heartbreak and leads into elation & witticism. With just the right dose of suspense swirling through the narrative. I adored Ford and Sienna and relished in their journey. The writing style is captivating & draws you in. Looking forward to listening to the next audio in this supernatural series.

Oh my dear Ford. My love for you has been unwavering since first meeting you in the Ariane Trilogy. And your own story just solidified it for me. I have no problem sharing you with Sienna now. Ford will always be mine but hey, a girl has to let him follow his heart! Back to the story at hand. Finding a love like the kind that Sienna and Ford have is one of a kind and gut wrenching. The kind that you only wish of finding in your lifetime. What Michelle Dare did with these characters in this story, giving Ford and Sienna their voices, has you falling in love with both characters and rooting for them the entire time.
While we barely got a glimpse of Sienna in prior books regardless of the role she played, you really do not get the feel of what is going through her mind until now. With Ford’s Fate, you really get to delve into what makes her tick, why she ended up the way she did with a different mate at the time and walked away from Ford. The pain and raw emotions that she goes through are heartbreaking and earth shattering. I can relate with her so much because of the feelings of being guarded and scared. But the connection of her and Ford is just something amazing and honestly unbreakable. She is just as much a victim as Ford was because of the doings of others. Ford, for all his humor and sarcasm, is really shattered emotionally and mentally because of everything with Sienna. As the story progresses and they both get their crap together, you really can feel the bond that these two share and how unbreakable it really is, regardless of what is thrown at them. While before you may have wanted to see Sienna obliterated, once you read this book, you will see why and understand so much more and will love Sienna as much as I did.
I have to say, out of all the books so far in the series, This one had me laughing more than all the others. Ford always has a way to sneak in his comments but this one just had me in a fit of giggles. And it just wasn’t Ford! It was Sol, Kylest and Sienna dishing it out! Between asking if the brothers were five years old to flying lunch meat, you couldn’t help but laugh between all the seriousness this story entails. Between the unique story concepts, the amazing character builds and how fluid these stories flow, you need these stories in your life! Now please bring on Sol, Kylest and all the others because I want to see these boys knocked on their butts!

In the second book of the Paranormal's of Avynwood, we get Ford & Sienna's story. Ford, is a vampire and Ariane's BFF from The Ariane Trilogy, he's in love with Sienna a fox shifter, who was also Ariane's BFF, when they were little girls until her parents moved them away from the area. A bit of background that happened prior to this book: First, Ford & Sienna dated for a bit before Sienna's parents convinced her to marry another fox shifter, Eli. Ford is very torn up over this, he knows that Sienna is it for him, his one true love/mate. Sienna was also torn up because she loved both Ford but set him aside to love & marry Eli. Eli has since died and while Sienna loved him, she feels guilty that he's gone as well as guilty over still loving Ford. She's still working thru her grief and loss of Eli yet knows Ford is 'around' keeping an eye on her.
That brings us up to speed for this book, we catch up with our characters trying to live separate lives and pretty much failing at it. Sienna is still grieving and Ford is trying to respect her wish for space. From here, the story continues, showing us how they both grow and come together. There are some great appearances by some beloved characters from the series. Ari & Orion, Wake & Paige but more importantly we get to know Ford's older brother, Solomon. We finally learn more about him, what makes him tick and his relationship with Ford. We even get more information and to know Ford & Solomon's parents a bit better, I especially enjoyed this.
Once I got into the book, it was so easy to sympathize with both Ford & Sienna. Each of them was doing their best while working from a difficult place, yet still in love with each other. I had a hard time putting the book down as I just felt they deserved their happily ever after, together. The plot and pacing were both good and believable. While it would be easy to be mad at Sienna for taking so long to come around to realizing she still loves/cares for Ford, it would short change her growth. What I love about Ford is he KNOWS Sienna is it for him and really sticks to that.
I've really been enjoying this YA Paranormal Series. Michelle Dare is a conscientious write with captivating stories to tell. Her writing is enjoyable because she doesn't just tell you a character feels a certain way (or acts a certain way) she SHOWS it to you. Really giving the reader a chance to understand the characters and 'walk a mile in their shoes'. Something else I highly respect about this author is her attention to details, no grammar or context errors make for a smooth read.

FINALLY FORD gets his own story!! I've been in love with him since the first time he was introduced!! Love his sense of humor and his cockiness! He's handsome, a great friend to Ari and is so in love with Sienna. Although, they dated earlier on, she found her mate, Eli, and left poor Ford. He was so in love with her and was/is crushed without her in his life.
Fast forward... Sienna's mate, Eli, died and Ford hopes he'll get another chance with Sienna. But, she sends him a letter and he knows it'll never happen. He knows there's a bond there, if he can just get through to her. He watches over her every night. If that's all he gets then that's just what he'll have to be happy with. Solomon steps up to be a great big brother to Ford, because he doesn't like seeing his brother in so much pain. Solomon is equally as funny as Ford, love him!
Sienna tries to distance herself from Ford, but she feels there's more to her and Ford than she's willing to give in to. Eli hasn't been gone long and he was her mate, she thinks there's no way she could have two mates in one lifetime. Can she? When Sol tells her how weak Ford is because he doesn't care about anything, she takes a closer look at her life.
I loved this book so much!! Ford and Sienna's relationship had me devouring this story!! There were so many twists, turns and I found myself with a clinched jaw, so afraid something would happen to Sol, Ford, Ari, Orion, or Ford..all my favorites!! All the characters were amazing, but Ford and Sol's mom........she was AWESOME!! Great story, as always from Michelle Dare!

It’s the understatement of the century if I say I’ve been excited for this book. I’ve been dying to get my hands on Ford’s story since the very first time I met him four books ago. This vampire that combines sweet protective caring with lethal bad@#$ery in a way that makes him so incredibly easy to fall in love with has been through so much throughout the Ariane Trilogy and now the Paranormals Of Avynwood series he seriously deserved to finally get his happiness.
If I didn’t make it clear enough already that I’m a huge Ford fangirl, I’ll break it down why he’s perfect. At least in my eyes. It’s ok if you don’t agree, you’re entitled to your wrong opinion. Ok, but seriously, there’s so many layers to Ford that build him into this incredible character. Each part of him coming together and making him more and more lovable. His lighter sides full of fantastic humor and sweet moments that make you go “aww”. His protective side that defends those he loves so ferociously. His sensitive side that will have you crying for how much his heart has gone through. See? Perfection.
Sienna, however, I went into this still in the fence about her. I honestly wasn’t sure is I’d really end up liking her but I really should have known better. Like all of Michelle Dare’s characters there’s more than meets the eye when it comes to her. The more I read and got to know her the more I genuinely began to like her and before I knew it was was totally #TeamSienna.
These two have quite an emotional journey with all they have to overcome and heal from. Along with some surprising twists and a bit of action that has you biting your nails. Ford’s Fate is a book that you will not be able to put down.

FORD...We finally get his story and I couldn't be happier.
From the moment he showed up to help Ari in The Ariane Trilogy, I knew this one character would be special. He's always been there for his friends, his family, and I wanted to see him get his own happiness.
Sienna was his first love. The "one that got away" and it was neither of their fault. Will they get to be together this time around? They go through so much and I hated seeing him in pain. He was so good at giving others advice, but it was so hard for him to know what to do about his situation. He tried everything he could to get Sienna to come around, but she was obstinate. I could understand her position and I felt for her too, but I just hated to see the suffering Ford was subjected to.
Was he able to get her in the end? You will have to read this second installment of the Avynwood series, but you won't regret it.
We do get to see our favorite characters from the previous books and what a treat that was. Solomon, Wake, Ari, Rion, Paige, Kylest, and even Ford's parents. Boy, do I love his mother! That is one tough woman :-)
I can't wait to see what's in store for the rest of these characters I've come to love.

I love Ford's story!!!
I must admit that I only wanted Ford for myself... but after reading his story, i have realized that Sienna is the only one for him! They are perfect for each other. Despite everything that they have been through, their love is so strong and true! This is what i absolutely love about Author Michelle Dare's Paranormal of Avynwood series so far! Love is everything, it can conquer all!!!!!! Of course there has to be alot of struggles and pain, and heart ache, Lots of emotions pulling on the heart strings, but in the end everything works out for the best! I won't post any spoilers, but i will say, this story was GREAT! And now i can't wait for Kylest's story next hahahaha... now he is the one i definitely want for myself, but apparently it's not meant to be either... *pouts* maybe Sol...? hahaha wishful thinking on my part of course! Anyhow, i can't get enough of these stories! Can't wait for the next one! Highly highly recommend this series as a must read as well as the other series first: The Ariane Trilogy!

This story follows the Ariane Trilogy, and then Wake's Claim - but works as a stand alone just as well. Ford has loved Sienna for a very long time, and when her mate is killed in the clan wars, he hopes to win her back, He has never loved anyone as he does her. But Sienna feel guilt and wants to be left alone - she feels that if she returns hi love, she is disrespecting Eli's memory. When she is attacked, she has no idea who is doing it, but Ford knows he must do everything in his considerable power to keep her safe - even if her mother hates him, and his family despises her because of the pain she has caused him. Will they ever be able to sort it out? Loved it, and cant wait for the next story in The Paranormals of Avynwood series!!

Ford is a vampire who could have everything and everyone he ever wanted. He thought he found love before but she was not his mate. He realizes who is but both families disagree and she believes she found her mate only to loose him. Now Ford finds a note telling him to stay away from her that Sienna no longer loves him. Sienna is confused and conflicted. How can she have two mates and is she cheating on her true mate. Ford is broken but soon they find themselves together again. Will Sienna and Ford find there well deserved happiness or will it end. I continue to love these books and I have to admit Ford has been one of my favorite characters from the beginning and glad to see him get his own book. I truly recommend this series and read it from the beginning

Ford’s Fate by Michelle Dare is a paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sarah L. Colton and Troy Duran.
This is the second book of Michelle’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. This is the second book in the Paranormals of Avynwood series. The books can be read as a standalone but I definitely find it more helpful to read in order since reference to other characters in previous book. I cannot wait to read the third book in the series Kylest’s Reign to dive into Kylest and Ravens love story.
Sarah and Troy did a great job on the narration. They really brought the story to life.

So many things to love about this story.

The next installment in the Paranormal of Avynwood series and its Fords story and its incredible. Fords always been an anomaly with the women. Able to get them but always had the one that got away, but in the fight Sienna helped and came into Fords life and he can't get her out of his head. There journey is not ending but beginning with considerable problems and hassles. Fords fate is fabulous. We see a different side to Ford. I couldn't put the book down. Looking forward to our next friends story xx

I really liked Ford's character as he was A breAth of something else compared to the other characters.
At first, I loathed Sienna as she had messed with Ford and no one gets away with that! She was hurting as well and Ms. Dare had unfolded her story to us in a really emotional way, piece by piece. Will Sienna manage to overcome her own mourning that was A big part of her recent life? What about mating after being the mate of another one?
Ford was just Ford here. He was everything that we lived in him in the other books.
Join those two in their way of finding themselves and what is their fate in the world after being broken!

With each book in this series, it gets better and better.
Ford and Sienna's story is filled with so much emotion, and the author has a way of writing that will make you feel everything that the characters do. This is the second book in the series and book one is a must read before hand as well as The Ariane Trilogy as the characters cross over. In this book you have every type of fairy tale you could imagine, shape shifts, vampires and fae.
There is not much else I can other than this read book, you will be hooked for the first page right to the last.

I can not wait till everyone reads this book!! Michelle Dare pulls you in piece by piece until your apart of her book. You feel Ford's heart break when Sienna writes him a letter but at the same time Sienna is hurting just as bad!

Once I started reading this book, I could not put it down. Love how the book built up the relationship to where it went. Ford's first bite of Sienna was something else. Wasn't a big fan of Sienna, but don't mind her to much. Really, loved the seeing the brothers relationship and their interactions. Even the parents role in this book. Not giving anything out to readers, highly recommend this book. Looking forward to more books.

And like the others in this series and the Ari trilogy, it’s a nice light read, some parts rip your heart out and leave it in pieces on the floor, and then you get the warm fuzzy feelings, I enjoyed Fords tale and look forward to the next.

Ford Fate is the second book in the Paranormals of Avynwood and its the story of Ford and Sienna that we get to know a bit in the Arianne Trilogy. Work well as a standalone but it really follows the event in the other serie.
Really enjoyed reading more about the past of this too caracters and that Ford is trying to get Sienna back.

I’ve been waiting for Ford’s book and I can honestly say I am not disappointed. Ford & Sienna will give you all the feels. From the moment you read their story, you won’t want it too end. Another amazing read and I can’t wait for Kylest’s story next.

Wow what amazing read that will have you hanging on to every word and hooked to every page as this is a love story that ford will fight for because he still has the love for his fox that has never gone away. Ford needs his fox and will keep watching over his love when he was younger. This man will show the fox that he can love her differently and that their love is still strong and epic. This is a very heart warming love story that will have you needing more for this story.

May 22, 2019I loved Ford’s book. From the beginning of the Ariane series I’ve loved Ford and this book did not disappoint! At the beginning I wasn’t sure I would like Sienna however Michelle Dare does a really great job showing us her internal struggles and how they are worked out . I liked getting to know the Verascue family better and can’t wait for Sol’s book!

I loved the story of Ford and Sienna coming together. It had just the right amount of suspense and love! It is a very fast paced read that leaves you happy at the end wanting to learn about the pack of supernaturals and their mates. I can't wait for the next in the series and hopefully Sol's soon!

This book will put your heart through a wringer. Emotional turmoil, angst, drama and heartache are the big players in this heartwrenching read. Sienna and Ford truly broke my heart. I'm so glad they got a second chance at a HEA. Of my own accord I am posting a truthful review.

Every book in this series is awesome. This book is no exception. I was hooked on page one. Warning though, once you start this book you will accomplish nothing else until book is read. Highly recommended.
