This is the first book summary I have read. I have usually shied away from these but someone recommended this book and I didn't have the money to purchase however the summary was on Kindle unlimited. I finished this in less than a day and I have a good feel for what I can do to make some positive changes in my life. I am in early recovery for addiction and I can say from personal experience I did the first 3 items on the inverse habit formula and it has worked. How to make the effect undesirable is up to my HP I guess. If you are short on time or funds and want to implement positive and healthier habits this is the book for you.
This was the summary and I listened to the audio and took notes!! It is essential that I fine tune some habits moving forward and this book summary helped clarify the meat of the establishment of better or more productive habits.
If you have ever moved away from a bad habit and implemenred a good one you'll find no new information here. However I found th summary informative and exactly what I expected from it, straight to the point without too much fluff. Glad I picked it up! If you are forming new habits go pick the actual book, you'll need it.
Atomic Habits is that sort of book that gets one asking "Where have you been my whole life?" Because it got me feeling "how I wish I had read it before now." It is an awesome book. Very practical; especially the part where it encourages us to make our habits obvious, attractive, easy, and satisfying as these steps will generally help us maintain the habits we are trying to build.
It is a book I'd recommend to anyone especially my children(when I have them and they come of age 😁).
I love it and James Clear did a fantastic job. I was so hooked I got a little emotional when I got to the conclusion part. I wished it didn't have an end.
Useful book with obvious but useful insights. The cue, craving, response, reward loops is something I used to help patients looking to break bad habits that leads to worsening of their clinical conditions.
The habit hacks of ‘obvious, easy, attractive and satisfying’ and habit stacking / temptation attachment are all useful things!

After hearing about this book from several different people, it was nice to find it on Kindle Unlimited. Practical steps to implement or remove habits. Appreciated being able to take notes from this “cliff notes” version.
You can easily find a topic through this summary book and memorize its main points. It also provides some real examples to explain the rules and solutions.
Cue, Do, Reward, Record. Pavlov and Skinner couldn’t have said it better. Or wait, maybe they already have? The amount of repetition in the summary made me glad I didn’t read the whole book. Still, overall worthwhile.
I think I already had part of the book already embedded in my life without thinking about it, it makes sense to have the other part in, good one i can already see a difference when trying to build up habits
I think the 1% better everyday rule is highly effective
This summary of Atomic habits provides enough tips to get going on improving your habits. It’s the systems we utilize that fail us, not our goals. Now I’m off to read the full version!
On summary, the notes really helps me through my way of thinking everyday. To manage what should I do, and what I shouldn't do, especially procrastinating. Not 100%, but it helps me slowly at times.
Great refresher if you’ve already read the book. But falls oh so short of the full text. I highly recommend not reading the summary your first go at this book.
I listened to the audiobook for this one just to warm up. While I am not crazy about self improvement/ time management books, I found some very useful info while listening to it
