Indecent Arrangement

After starting her first semester of college two years later, Brookelyn’s creative writing became more of a hobby and something to do to escape the stress of midterms and finals. Now in her 30s as a freelance writer, penning short stories and novellas is her everything. While her experience with writing has evolved for the better, her undying love for creating fiction remains unchanged. Brookelyn's focus is on creating contemporary women's fiction with characters based in urban settings. Her stories chronicles the emotional journeys and erotic experiences of women today through her characters and the scenarios they're thrown into.
The motivation behind her brand of writing has a lot to do with what she discovered storytelling provided for her - an escape. Her goal with her work is to create characters and urban worlds that offer a great escape for fiction readers looking for a break from the daily grind of adulting and who prefer to relax with good books and short stories. This was good! I didn't expect the story to take the turn that it did. It was almost as if I was watching a movie. Loved it!

I enjoyed the short when we were introduced to Joelle and Jordan and looked forward to this read. I knew these two would be something else, and test my patience, but was not expecting this wild ass ride! 🤯
Cameron was just a waste of space, and a piss poor husband! Joelle had put up with more ish from him than she should have, for him to have the audacity he had. 🤬 A lot of this is on you buddy! 👀
That damn Jordan was a chameleon, and had poor Joelle fooled. Him being charming, handsome, and dripping with money, blinded her to all the red flags he was waving. The twists and revelations had my mouth on the floor, okay? But Miss Lita, girl..... Lil thing was smarter than she looked and came up with a masterplan that blew everything out of the water. Ma'am you wrote the hell outta this thang!! 💪🏾❤️ Really enjoyed it. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Talking about didn’t see that coming
I sure hope Brookelyn decided to write some more urban suspense because I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Sexy, unhinged, drama, and shock value galore! Yes to it all! Read this after you read that first group of short stories called Forbidden and you will definitely be in for a treat!

Simply awesomeness
I loved the book it was such an suspenseful read but yet filled with a lot of spice that I loved. When I first embarked on Joelle’s I had no idea that it would unravel into this masterpiece. They say the grass is never greener on the other side and definitely be careful what you pray for because Jordan was the devil incarnate. It was so sad to see all Joelle friends idolize her marriage and just didn’t know the hell and the sacrifices she suffered through silently. This book definitely touched on some subjects of marriage that many don’t explore and I love it. Definitely can’t wait for what’s next Brookelyn never disappoints.

A Rollercoaster
This story was an amazing rollercoaster. Cameron is one of those men that can dish it but can’t take it and the way he sold out his wife for money was so disgusting. He was never ok with Joelle sleeping with another man until it was beneficial to him and I really don’t know how to feel about that. And don’t get me started on pretentious Jordan. That man was a lunatic. This story is living proof that the grass is not always greener on the other side and that people pretend really well. Lita was a clever woman kudos to her. I loved this book. It was quite different from what I am use to but I loved every second of it. It was a real page turner.

This book was crazy as hell...Jordan was crazy as hell and it took a turn that I wasn't expecting. Like Whew. Brookelyn never disappoints. Her writing is top tier and I am shocked that it has taken me this long to come across her books. Down the rabbit hole I go. So, first of all, this lady to please her husband is willing to allow him to cheat for one night out of the year. They knew of the rules well going into this situation, but she let her guard down and broke them. In turn things took a turn. This book took me through several stages of shock. It is def a must read.

Different from the Norm
This was different from the usual Brookelyn Mosley stories but I enjoyed it. Jordan and Joelle were first introduced in Chateau Lux and I was eager to read more about them. This story definitely didn’t disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed this suspenseful journey that showed that everything isn’t always as it appears. This is hands down one of my favorite one of Brookelyn’s stories and I can’t wait to read what she releases next!

First time reading a suspense romance and I was not disappointed. The way Jordan was acting towards the end of the book reminded me of Fatal Attraction and Cameron was such a hypocrite. Without giving too much away I will say that karma was served to both the Jordan and Cameron and you were thrown with a loop for Joelle and Lita. Nice quick read that gave what it was supposed to give for s suspense romance with plenty or spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️.

So Unexpected
I enjoyed this story from the anthology. I'm glad to see the author continued it but I wasn't ready for everything to unfold. It was well written and these characters really became alive. The characters were well developed. I will definitely read more from this author. Can't wait!

Not what I expected!
Even though the title is The Forbidden series, I was not expecting the direction this story went! And beyond that, the ultimate outcome was just as shocking! This was a very entertaining read, with a little bit of everything from suspense, to drama, to heat and betrayal. But I definitely enjoyed the ride!

Top notch!
Indecent Arrangements had a little bit of everything to make it just right! In Book 2 Joelle and Jordan are once again drawn to each other like moths to a flame. And boy do they burn! I honestly wasn’t expecting the book to go there but I am not mad about it. It was sexy, yet intriguing.. conflicting but also riveting! Point is, it was really, really good!

Couldn’t Put it Down
This is the first book I read by this author and I couldn’t put it down! The twist and turns were soo good I definitely couldn’t predict what would happen next. Brookelyn has gained a new fan in me. I’m looking forward to exploring other books in her catalog.

Sooo I read the Forbidden anthology series of shorts and I was rooting for devil in disguise. I am no spoiler so all I’ll say is read Forbidden first and go along for the ride cause it’s AMAZING 🤩

Whew chile!! Jordan was a mess with himself wasn’t he!! That goes to show you everything that’s glitters isn’t gold!! Sometimes packages are just nice to look at and not touch. Lita turned out to be a nice surprise.

This was unexpected
Not at all what I expected. I wish there was more punishment for Cameron in the end because they're getting divorced but they don't have a prenup. I'd like to see more of Joelle and how her story pans out, as well as, Cameron really getting his payback.

This story had a lot of twist and turns. Some of which I did not expect. Great read. Joelle deserved better than Cameron. Jordan got exactly what he deserved!!
