He never broke my body. Instead, he shattered my heart.
After five years, I was about to see him again.
I may no longer be the scared girl that he saved seven years ago.
But he still had ways of making me weak in the knees.

In my moments of weakness, I allowed myself to miss him.
His touch.
His smell.
The way he made me feel.
The way he chased away my demons.

I can’t let down my guard now.
Not when everything I worked for is on the line.

But I can’t stop my heart from fluttering each time I hear his voice.
I can’t stop imagining his strong hands on my body.

The closer I get to him, the more irresistible he becomes.
The more I’ll have to remind myself:

I may be tempted to give him my body.
But there’s no way in hell I can trust him ever again with my heart.

Savage Angel is a standalone motorcycle club romance about a strong alpha hero and his second chance at love with the strong sassy woman he thought he lost years ago.

Features suspense, action, adventure, romance, and strong language. Contains situations that some readers may find triggering. You have been warned.

Not your typical MC trope. The heroine meets the hero when she finds herself running from a group of school “boys” she was involved with when a party got out of hand ie she was the “party”. Knocking on a random door of a house for help, he is there. He helps her, she heals, he teaches her how to trust again and very soon they are inseparable. At this point all of this is flashbacks, there is a o.5 book available but I mistakenly thought the publishers may be generous enough to put it in this book...not the case.

He is an enforcer at this point but as with any MC the club comes first and she couldn’t handle playing second to the club. Once he is promoted to President it doesn’t take long for her to loose patience and although they love each other she leaves him. That was five years ago. Seeing this is a second chance with five years gap what did our hero and heroine do in this time? Well the hero wasn’t celibate but we only see one of his club girls once early on. We don’t know whether the heroine had her itches scratched in five years. She does however start her own MC and is President. She makes it her mission to disrupt the trafficking in her territory which she believes his club is supporting.

Throughout the first part this is promising. This changes the second she reconnects with him and unrealistic situations occur eg one raid the women shoot one of his men dead and rescue a woman. However he claims he didn’t know and then they join forces...this sounds unrealistic as I’m sure there are plenty of brothers who would want payback.

Once they are back together it’s just annoying, she loses herself to him and lets him in, only she doubts herself when things go wrong. If you had a successful club full of badasses does that mean you wouldn’t be aware some security crew has installed cameras? What about burning your clubhouse down? Where are the women when people are accessing their property? This was frustrating to me because they are supposed to be badasses?!

I won’t be reading more of this series the author is too heavy on punishing the women and not having anything happen to the guys!🙃

Still as unrealistic as usual ( it is, after all an MC book), but very entertaining plus there is a female badass MC president!

An awesome start to a new MC series. I am so excited to read more of this series and the added dual clubs. I haven't found a story that has a women's MC and that in itself made this a must-read book/series.
The main characters are both stubborn, strong, love/hate relationship and the Presidents of their own MC.
My opinion this is going to be the best series yet from this author.

~REVIEW🖋~
The Quick and Dirty: Kristina has done more than enough to prove she's not just a "club girl". She started and has been the President of her own MC for the last 5 years. All seems to be going well until she crosses path with the man who broke her heart, President of the Rough Jesters, Rex. They might be rivals, but they'll have to work together to be able to take down a common enemy and in the process, discover that the spark between them never really died.

Such an interesting novel and a quick read. I have never read an MC book where there was a female club, let alone where the main character is the President of her club. Kristina is a class A bad-ass. I loved the interaction between her and Rex and how she and her club were able to hold their own against the guys and the cartel. The chemistry was HOT and @BrookWilder has set us up for an SOA-level-drama type series with a cliffhanger ending for the next book in the series about the Rough Jesters' road captain, Ironsides, and a certain member of the Hell's Bitches. Can't wait!!

LOVE MEANT TO BE

Dear Readers ,

A worth it Book .. love the journey of a head strong lady .. even if it makes me crazy when people refuse to work things out by talking instead of remaining quiet.

The loss of five years in this story . It’s romance books like this that remind people .. communication is key . To living in harmony and bliss .

Life is to short to ignore the desires of the heart . Never throw one love away for another love . Instead compromise. Give others a chance to work it out .

Books that resemble real like issues .

Note - I read the sample of book two ...

I have to say .. I had books they use rape scenes or give the characters such brutal events to overcome . When they already had a shitty start or past in life . I will read the rest since I already read the description in the sample .

FYI - new readers ... it mentions that the kidnappers of Jessie have her for 6 months & he passed her around to his men . From hours .

I will never understand why Women write books with rape in them — thinking other women want to Picture that Violence in our minds .

The shock factor in many indie books ., have caused me to be very Leary reading indie books . There should be warnings ⚠️ regarding RAPE . Even if it’s not described detail . The fact she is held for 6 months.

There are many bad to the bone MC book series with out RAPE IN THEM .

Dear Authors , remember your target audience is Women . Most women do not want to imagine women being RAPED .

It’s not romance or it does not add juice to the book . It’s a turn off for many .

JUST SAYING

I have some favorite author .. now I am very cautious of reading now . When alerts were not given . I do not like to be Surprised by these EVENTS.

“ MC “does not mean it has to be brutal against Women .

What a great start to a new series! Savage Angel: Rough Jesters Mc Book 1 takes place where the Widow Maker left off as now Rex and Kris embark on a long awaited passionate reunion as these two lovers are still butting heads as Kris believes that Rex turned and is working for the devil.

When Rex finally had enough of Kris's interfering with his club's business, he goes to Kris and has it out with her, but can these two get a second chance at love as neither one can forget the passion and love that have harbored for ten years. When they try to work together as both clubs are in danger, can these two Presidents co-exist and end their rivals or will their love break their clubs apart?. This passionate story is filled with intrigue, danger, drama and murder as you are taken on one hell of a journey! This is a must read and I can't wait to see what happens next. I voluntairly reviewed and advance copy of this book.

A nice little change of pace where there is a ball busting, fierce woman who heads her own MC and matches wits with an alpha male president of another MC. Kris has gone through a lot to make her the woman that she is and all she ever wanted was to be seen as an equal. Rex is old school and wants to protect Kris. However, there is a more pressing matter that both MCs need to address. Can this be what brings Kris and Rex back together and allows for more understanding on both sides? This is one entertaining storyline from beginning to end filled with other secondary characters that add to the richness the plot. I look forward to reading the next book in this new series.

This is a splendid start to a new series “Rough Jesters” & it certainly caught my attention & kept it until the last page was turned. The story-line & plot is well-thought out and written with some interesting & unexpected events. The characters are well-developed with individual personalities & display realistic & believable emotional feelings & moods suited to the situations they find themselves in.
There is: MC riders, various MC gangs, mafia, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, drama, action, secrets, rivalry, feuds, guns & human trafficking, deceit, abduction, danger, threats, enemies, life-threatening incidents, confrontations, manipulations, compromises, sabotage, death, blackmail, blazing gun fights, injuries, declaration, love, steamy scenes & a happy conclusion.

Well it started out good and I thought I was onto a winner but quickly turned into a mills m boon version of a biker book.

Seriously it was bizarre. too smalzy, too corny, too predictable, too formulaic, too cheesy, just too damn much.

If you like your biker books with pink tinted glasses this is perfect.

Never mind the ridiculous plot, the hells bitches shoot a member of another club n the next thing they're all drinking together? There's no way this would happen. brotherhood is sacred. They wouldn't just let it go.

Then the bitches have a member murdered n both clubs are up in arms and ready for war?

Rex pretends to be hard n threatening but is a wimp.

No sorry this plot is just too silly

This is a great read. Ms. Wilder has a way of holding your attention from the first page to the last.
They use to be together, but hurt feelings and secrets, broke them apart. This made her start her own club, that was about strong women, then she started messing with his club business.
When things start to go bad, they decide to work together to straighten up and to cut the cartel out of the business.
Things quickly go crappy from there. Their clubs loyalty and the love the members have for each other is tested.
They take care of business and realize that the years they were apart didn’t go away and is forever, no matter what happens.

A new MC series that had kind of a different twist, they parted ways and she started her own MC with women members. Parts of it were definitely based out of the norm, but it was an okay read. It was kind of entertaining, but I did have a hard time connecting with either main character. It seemed like there was no in-between with her either being a hard-nosed women or a mushy mess. He just seemed to have no issue stomping all over her feelings when it came to "protecting" her. Was ridiculous that 2 MC presidents didn't seem to know what compromise was.

It starts off with a shooting and doesn’t quit. It’s action packed, danger filled, has drama, suspense, killing, kidnapping, gun fights, and the Cartel. This book has it all. OMG the storyline is so exciting there’s always something more to keep it reved up the characters from two MCs and the Cartel to mix it up. I absolutely loved it and the cover picture OMG it can’t get any better.

Great Book

I really enjoyed reading this book. Kristina and Rex were once a couple. Now they are no longer together. Rex is president of the Rough Jesters. Kristina formed her own club Helll's Bitches. She is the president of this club, too. This book is about their rocky journey back to each other. I recommend this book and author. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Female MC heck yeah!

Great idea for this series, I love it. This book also sets the stage for the next with talking about sex trafficking which is a really hard topic to think about let alone read. Brook Wilder does an excellent job writing this amazing story of life with an all female MC. So many things that a lot of strong woman face many times and how hard it is to find a man to share your life with. This one won’t disappoint, Great book ! Happy reading.

Rex and Kris's story. This was a good book full of action and romance. This is my first read from this author and I was a little skeptical at first with a woman MC president until I read she was the president of an all woman MC. I'm not going to tell the story you need to read it for yourself. But I will give you a little background.
Rex is the president of the Rough Jesters MC while Kris is the president of the Hell's Bitches MC. They split up for 5 years and this is about them getting back together and the power struggle they face while going against a dirty cop and the Aztecas cartel.

A second chance romance. Rex and Kristina's story.

Despite their rocky past she agrees to help him in his MC's war against the cartel and a crooked sheriff. He is the president of the Rough Riders MC. She is president of her own MC. As they work together, they realize that they belong together. Another new exciting MC series by Brook Wilder.

Great book

A fantastic second chance biker romance.A couple with a past, reunite in an unexpected way but not without trials and tribulations. Rival motorcycle clubs come together and unite against the Mexican Cartel and a dirty cop, expect plenty of sexual chemistry, action, murder, and enough twists and turns to keep your interest right from the start.

After time apart and many feuds, Rex and Kris are ready to try something new. Could it be a new beginning or will it be what finally brings them all down? Drama, danger, and so much more! Well written and very entertaining! Can't wait to see what will happen next!

Great read

I don't very often get to read female MC books, so to find one with both a make and female MC, where they are written on equal terms was great.

The characters in both were well written and interacted with each other brilliantly. Can't wait to read the next one.

I ended up skimming and then not reading the epilogue. It needs an editor, badly. And its the fluffiest MC I've ever read...which isnt and, just not what I was wanting. These two were lovesick puppies... yikes.

Decent mc

Decent mc book. If you're looking for a mouthy bunch this is it. I've been in a reading slump off and on, so I don't have much to say on this. I did like a lot that it didn't crush the FMC for the big bad man.
