Xander, a blonde god, heartbreakingly beautiful.

He owned my heart. Once my hero, my best friend, my lover. Now quite possibly my enemy. I thought I could vanish, disappear until I found the strength to move on, find the will to survive after he incited a war in which there could be no winner. But I should have known, should have foreseen…there was no hiding from Xander.

Sin, the devil incarnate, wickedly sexy.

He demanded my soul. Dominating as ever, Sin is relentless, but I refuse to relinquish control, vigilantly protecting the shattered remains of my heart in an effort to keep myself safe. Yet safety proves to be an illusion. A victim’s revenge escalates, the hunted now the hunter, forcing me back into a dangerous life I desperately wanted to escape and soon the killer isn’t the only one intent on drawing me out.

Torn between heaven and hell, I was powerless against them.

Both men are demanding a decision. An impossible, life-altering choice I’m too frightened to consider, heightening the tension until it explodes without warning. Blurring the lines between the two men, Xander strips me of my defenses, leaving me breathless and begging for more. As the killer’s horrific conspiracy develops, Sin is just as merciless, his wicked games intensifying. Driving me to my knees in a desire so all-consuming, I’m left drowning until one terrifying, soul-shattering moment in time changes everything.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: This book is intended for mature audiences due to explicit language and sexual content. Sinful is a ménage romance that's all about the girl. There are NO M/M scenes.

Shameless is NOT a standalone.

The Sinful Surrender Quartet should be read in the following order:

Sensuous (Available Now)
Scandalous (Available Now)
Shameless (This Title)

About the author

Katherine Hawthorne

Katherine Hawthorne is the sexier, erotic side of a bestselling romantic mystery author. She loves sexy alpha males and books that come with warnings. By far, her greatest guilty pleasure is ménage romance, which is exactly what she writes. Shucking off the last vestiges of her oh so proper Ivy League education, she traded tedious academic writing, combined her favorite genres, and found her greatest joy in writing suspenseful erotic romance.

When Katherine isn’t writing, you can find her racing down the ski slopes in the winter and relaxing on the beach in the summer, most likely lost in a book. Married with four children, three of which still live at home, life is a never-ending crazy thrill ride, one she quite happily embraces.

Great ending to a stellar series

The romance between Sin, Xander and Belle has been almost as complicated as the series of crimes they have been involved in and are investigating throughout these books. Just when you think they have everything wrapped up, something else happens. Of course, the crimes are involving human trafficking, and there are always more even if one is solved. But the the author was able to transition from one crime to another throughout the series and tie them all together very nicely.

At the start of this book, Belle had left both Xander and Sin because she couldn’t choose one of them and so she decided to choose neither. However each of them thought that she chose the other and were separately torturing themselves with the thought that she was with the other. It isn’t until something happens with Xander that they finally get together and figure out she left both of them.

Like the other three books, this one has a ton of action, mystery and suspense. Sin’s two brothers Rafe and Kade played big roles in this book. Cade is Belle’s “Knight”, so named because he first introduced himself as her “Knight in shining armor”. He has been watching over her throughout these books and helped her to get away, with the promise not to tell Xander and Sin where she was. But he watches her through cameras to check that she is alright. They don’t have any romantic relationship but he is sort of like a big brother to her. Sin was unaware until the end of book 3, that his brother knew Belle or vice versa.

I really liked how this book flowed and I was really surprised at a few points. I love books that are unpredictable and keep you on your toes. I won’t spoil anything but I really liked how it ended and I hope the author Katherine Hawthorne’s next book is about Kade and has these characters in it also. Rafe is just as interesting as he is an FBI agent, so a book about him would be good also. Whatever her next book is about, I plan on reading it!

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Finally, things are coming to an end. The crime and suspense are escalating and we finally get some closure. It was an intense read but like in 3rd book it seems like it was stretching way more. It should have ended earlier.
I liked that the main characters finally matured enough to get over their differences and we get some hot menage scenes from it.
The crime seemed a bit unrealistic with Renee being such a mastermind and the final ending wasn' cathartic.
Overall it was a good series but I think it should end earlier.

I’ve been with this series from the very beginning, and I think that this was a satisfying end to the story. There were a couple of moments where I was a little bit confused as to who the characters were referring to, and I had to go back into the earlier books to search for those people, just so I was reminded of their place in the story, but I didn’t mind that. It’s to be expected when there are four books in a high-action plot arc. I thought that the revelations about both Sin and Xander were intriguing. Belle continued to get on my nerves with her flip-flopping, and frankly, I’m not sure that she’s good enough for either one of them! But questions were answered, and the plot came full circle. It was a good series, and someone reading them all in a row might really enjoy. This review was based on a complimentary pre-release digital ARC of the book.

Shameless by Katherine Hawthorne is a MFM Ménage Romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Lacy Laurel, Connor Crais, and James Cassidy. This is the fourth and final book in the Sinful Surrender Quartet series.

The book comes with an author's note: "This book is intended for mature audiences due to explicit language and sexual content. Scandalous is a ménage romance that's all about the girl. There are NO M/M scenes."

This is the first series of Katherine's that I have read and it won't be my last. She did a great job wrapping up the series. I loved the relationship between Belle, Xander, and Sin. I really enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book.

Lacy, Connor, and James did a great job on the narration. They really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like MFM Ménage Romances, Erotic Romances, or Romantic Suspense.

Finally! The last part of the Sinful Surrender Quartet. What a ride! Katherine Hawthorne has done an outstanding job in creating yet another part full of suspense and plot twists. Just when I thought I knew who the bad guy was, the story changed direction and I was caught off guard by another suspect.
Of course, the steaming hot, melt your panties scenes with the big bad alpha males made other parts of my body also very happy. But the intense drama, the fear for the lives of Sin, Xander and Belle are awesome and keep you pushing to read on, well past midnight. And then there is the mysterious Knight. Who is he???
In this final part, the different parts of the puzzle will be revealed. And you will finally know whether Belle will chose for her Heaven or for her Hell. Five out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc. I will be looking out for more series of Katherine. Thank you for this wonderful series.

Yes.... I enjoyed this book and wish there was another book to follow. There was a lot of action, twist and turns. I was really on the edge of my seat wondering what is going to happen next. I will still say that I am team Sin all through this series, but I see why Belle was unable to choose between Xander & Sin. Although they both were different they each brought out something in her and they both loved her deeply. I thought this author wrote an excellent series and the character develop was really good. I look forward to reading many more books from this author.

Good series

I enjoyed reading this series a lot. It had action, suspense, hot scenes, love and good characters. I liked the story line and enjoyed the chemistry between Belle, Zander and Sin. I only wish this last book wouldn’t have rushed the ending. I felt that everything was told in one long last chapter.

5 OFF THE CHART STARS for Shameless ( Sinful Surrender Quartet #4 )

ARC received from Netgalley & author in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed are my own & have not been influenced in any way.

This book is NOT a standalone & I highly recommend reading this series in the following order:

Sinful
Sensuous
Scandalous
& then this title Shameless ...

Without giving anything away I am so ecstatic that the author tied up every single loose end in Shameless. I also have to say this series are top read(s) for me of all time. It's a new to me genre M/F/M & to be honest with each book I was so hoping the author would not make the heroine ( Belle ) choose between Xander & Alex ( aka Sin = Alex Sinclair ) She did choose a relationship with both for love & their collective HEA.

Shameless does pick up the story line when Belle has returned from being kidnapped. It's just not possible for her to deal with everything that has happened - so rather than be forced to make a choice she flees & hides out for several months trying to come to terms with her life. I loved that Xander &
Sin give her some time to heal mentally & physically - then go after her. It's not until they do that Belle realizes they were never forcing her to choose between them & all they ask is that she comes back into their lives to see if they can make a relationship work between them.

There is so much going on in the plot of this series ... we finally learn who killed Belle's parents & Xander's father - also "why" they were killed ... Renee is still out there as well & becomes a threat to Belle ...

This book was one that I had to physically refrain from going to the end - I never do that but I was on edge reading this book. The entire series is so well written & Ms Hawthorne has you on the edge of your seat at times ...

You will come to love these characters & not want the books or series to end.

Highly recommend this book & author !!

5 STARS does not do this entire series justice.

Read this author!!!

It still surprises me that more people haven't discovered this author. I've read all four books in this series, and each book just gets better and better. I know some people avoid menage, and that's okay, but despite the super sexy covers, this series was not just about the sex. There was so much to love in this series, two complicated heroes with vastly different personalities, a strong heroine who could totally hold her own, and well developed secondary characters I can't wait to read about in future books. Katherine Hawthorne is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors.

This fourth book starts off with a bang, literally. We also get a deeper look at the friendship between Alex and Xander. That insight really helped me understand the complexity of their interactions with and feelings for Belle. I appreciated that Belle was not a pushover and really made the guys earn her trust and affections after all they put her through in the previous book. Belle is struggling to regain her confidence after surviving a trauma, but thankfully she has the support of all three Sinclairs, not just Alex (Sin). Seriously, I really need Rafe and Kade's stories!

As this story progresses, the physical relationship takes a while to get back on track as they work through their trust issues, but once it does...Whew! Flames... Seriously! I was team Sin all the way until this book, but Xander finally evened it out and stole his own piece of my heart. In addition to the sparks flying, bodies are piling up, Belle is in more danger than ever, even the bad guy is hot, and nothing is as it seems. This was a perfect finale to this series, and once you get to the end, you, like me, will probably add one more character to the list of people whose stories you can't survive without. (I'd tell you who, but I don't want to spoil it!) Don't miss this series!

This final book in the series gave me the feelings of satisfaction and sense of closure as things came together to what seems like a wonderful ending. I still had the wide swings of emotions as the plot flowed into the final stretch to tie up the quartet but they felt just right. There’s still the hidden twists, the new depths in characters, learning about the backstories just when they need to be experienced to put the puzzle pieces together.

While I had been skeptical at the start of the series, I found that such thinking was premature. The series pulled me into it and made me want to read it to the conclusion even if I had to fight the overwhelming swings of emotions to do it. It was very worth the effort to keep going until the very end. When the final cathartic circuit completes there is total satisfaction and contentment because the reader has now found their perfection.

The emotions I felt over the series have changed as the books progressed. I feel more attachment and investment in the protagonists once I saw their humanity and depth. It took a bit of a struggle to keep going until I found that. It was worth the effort. I’m very satisfied with the series and the author.

I’ll always remember how Hawthorne and her works made me feel. She made me feel powerful, conflicting, overwhelming emotions that despite having strong dislike for them at first eventually felt so very right and appropriate by the end.

I must have a certain feel for a work to keep me wanting to stay with it. This book and the entire series do that for me. As I’ve said in a previous review, it takes a special kind of author and story to do that. Hawthrone did it and does it for me. My emotions and thoughts are completed and fulfilled.

Do we finally get all the answers to the questions????

Shameless is the fourth and last book in the Sinful Surrender Quartet series about Belle, Sin and Xander. This is not a stand-alone series so be warned that you will have to read them all in order, and be ready for the cliffhanger at the end of each.
So yep more secrets are revealed and the relationship between Belle and Sin, Belle and Xander and all three of them is still not what you would want in real life, but for a book it keeps things interesting and exciting. The mysteries and intrigues continue but we finally do get answers and things are wrapped up fairly well. Overall this was much more of a mystery/thriller than a MFM series, even though the book covers and descriptions are more geared towards the naughty side of things. '
For me I enjoyed this series for the most part. There were some things that I was not expecting along the journey of this reading experience and it took me a bit to get through them all, as I would put the books down and then come back later on. I am also going to say that I really would have boxed the ears of Belle, Sin and Xander multiple times because they were so secretive and manipulative that it drove me crazy at times. In the end though it was Belle that I had the hardest time with as she was flipped and flopped all over the place between Sin and Xander. Then add in the fact that she kept making the worst decisions about things, not smart like her character was supposed to be. But that is my opinion only. I know other readers will love Belle.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

This is the pulse racing, temperature raising, heart melting and mind blowing conclusion to Sin, Bella and Xander's epic story. It just doesn't seem possible that things can get more dangerous, twisted and intense and yet they do. As the story picks up, (Yes, you do need to read the other three books first!), both hearts and trust have been broken (Both mine and Bella's). Yes, I will admit that my own life experiences combined with the actions of this series characters to make me have doubts that these characters that I was so invested in could recover. I am beyond thrilled to say that these fears were unfounded because the author did a remarkable job of concluding this series. As much danger and suspense as there is in these books, for me it is all about the drama and emotions and in this book they both run DEEP! I loved that there were no quick fixes or easy answers to what had been broken in this relationship. Just like in real life, there was plenty of work to do and time was needed to heal. I'm sorry to say goodbye to these characters but I am thrilled with how things ended. I can only hope that Kade and Rafe possibly get their own books. I would love that. I think they deserve it and there is so much potential there. I am freely posting an independent review.

Fully enjoyed this whole series! Action packed, full of love, heart break, suspence, ups and downs and hot steamy times. For being a 4 book series it never legged, moved at a great pace and kept you at the edge of your seat. Belle is a lucky lady to have the incredible love from Sin and Xander and I loved lustening to their relationship bloom. Highly recomend the audio books. Its really amazing to have a book with 3 main characters have 3 different narrators. Connor Crais is always outstanding and always delivers an A plus performance! James Cassidy was perfect for Xander. Hes a newer narrator to me and I love his deep, growly voice with so much emotion! Ill be looking for more books narrated by him for sure!  Lacy Laurel did a fantastic job too, however Im not a fan of her "male" voice. Its like an accent all of a sudden appears and its kinda odd.
I waited a long time for Shameless to release in audio before I started this whole series and I was glad I could devour it all at once. A couple sleepless nights to finish it lol. Highly worth the credits! Katherine pulled off an incredible series!

This has definitely been a wild ride start to finish, and while I *really* wanted to like this final installment as much as the first three, I have to admit that for me this was the weakest in the bunch. If I'm going to be honest this one just dragged for me and I'm not really sure why. The central romance is as hot as ever and the confounding twists and turns to the mystery are finally mostly explained but I still feel like I have a few questions. Part of that may be my fault as I really had to force myself to finish the last third of the book.

Taken as a whole, even though I was somewhat disappointed with this last outing I was impressed with the majority of the storyline and the quality of the writing. A few quibbles with editing but just the fact that there was actually a story behind the menage and it wasn't just a token story surrounding the sexual aspects was great. I definitely look forward to reading more by this author in the future!

Thank you to Netgalley and BooksGoSocial for the opportunity to R&R, the opinions are my own.

Shameless
Sinful Surrender Quartet, Book 4
By: Katherine Hawthorne
Narrated by: Lacy Laurel, Connor Crais, James Cassidy

What a series! I loved this romantic suspense! From start to finish, I was captivated with the romance, but the mystery and suspense truly captured my attention. This last book in the quartet has us wondering the future of Sin, Belle and Zander. Not only is she not choosing between them, but the friendship between Sin and Zander is exceptionally strained. The danger is not over either! We still are on the edge wondering who master minding the human trafficking ring as both reputations of Sin and Zander are destroyed. It's fast paced, suspenseful, passionate and steamy. The results are unexpected, and I loved trying to figure it all out! This series is a favorite!

Finishing out the narration, Lacy Laurel, Connor Crais and James Cassidy bring it all to a head. They are so good together, understanding their characters and using their nuances to bring out the fear, love and frustrations! It was fantastic listen!

Belle is left reeling after what she just experienced and finds herself unable to handle the push and pull between her and Sin and Xander so the only choice she can make is to not make a choice. Both men are left floundering as they believed she chose the other so when that information comes to light they are determined to claim the woman they love and do whatever is necessary to prove they all belong together.

Not only are they dealing with the challenges of their relationship the suspense part of the story begins to escalate. There are so many twists that has them questioning who they can trust and who their enemies really are whether they will be able to emerge with their lives and each other.

The chemistry between is hot, the plot is complex and Sin and Xander have very different personalities who together give Belle exactly what she needs in her life. The narration was flawless as they brought to life all the aspects of the story and the characters. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession

This is the fourth book of our amazing quartet. What a book and FINALLY an ending! But holy sweet moley this story is so not done until the very last page. I was back and forth on whether I was Team Sin or Team Xander. But really why should a girl have to choose? I know the saying goes 'you can't have your cake and eat it too' but seriously, why not? Belle will pull right along with her as she goes through all the challenges, feelings, thoughts and pitfalls that she considers why making this decision. However, we have a killer out there that is not done with her and only adds to the drama, action and suspense of everything else. I highly recommend this series as these books are so much more than their sexy, fantastic covers. I cannot wait to read more by this author. Will some of these secondary characters get their own chance to tell their stories? Goodness, I hope so!

What a conclusion!!

This is book 4 and the conclusion of this series, books 1-3 MUST BE READ FIRST! Sin and Xander are done playing games, after realizing that Belle deliberately mislead them both into think she had chosen the other the men are determined to win her back, TOGETHER! But Belle is not about to give in so easily risking further heartbreak. Add to that the killings have not stopped and it looks like the men are now targets. Heart pounding, heart wrenching and a spectacular HEA. I hope to see more from this author involving Rafe, Kade and even the mysterious Luka Petrov. Spin off series, (I hope)?

★ An incredibly intense, stormy, and twisty ride of a series ★

—>>> After all these three have been through, Xander, Sin and Bella are put through yet more trials as they chase the party responsible for their ever-present taunting through the twisted and carefully planned killings left as their calling card. As things were left from Book #3, we catch up with Bella as she tries to distance herself from the two men vying for her possession, unable to decide between them, but not having the courage to trust her heart in an all-or-nothing relationship with both. This was an incredibly intense, stormy, and twisty ride thus far, which all ends here in a more-than-perfect ending for all three characters.

Absolutely Riveting

Explosive doesn't even come close to describing this final book in the Sinful Surrender Series!!!!!!

This has been one of the most interesting , insane, and intense series I've had the pleasure of both reading and listening too. It has a plot that keeps you guessing. It seems to change villains with every book and the plot thickens and intensifies, and that's just the murder side of it. The other side with Belle, Sin and Xander story is even more interesting and intense!!!

Kudos to the author for bringing two of my favorite genres together for a powerful combination that left me both speeches and breathless!!!

I have voluntarily read this book and I'm voluntarily leaving a review for it. Reviewer for Nook Books and More Blog.

This series is full of mystery lies, secrets. suspense, betrayal, and revenge. Katherine Hawthorne has written an excellent. crime, action-packed thriller. Sin, Xander and Belle's relationship is hot, steamy and toxic. Sin and Xander will do everything to keep Belle alive, even if it is against the law.
Who to trust? People are getting tortured and murdered. Sin, Xander and Belle are a target in this multi layer plot, that kept me on the edge of my seat.
I can't express how well the narration is. Lacy Laurel, Connor Crais and James Cassidy show all the raw emotions, of love, anger, despair, and rage in this story. I could picture the performance in my mjnd. Just as each chapter unfolds in a movie. Bravo very well done.

I read fast but…
I read fast but never have I read four books in one day but with this series, I could not stop. This is the final book and it is the icing on top of the cake. If you have been reading the series you know that Sin, Bella, and Xander have had one thing after another thrown in their paths and now what happens will tear at your heart. The author has written an outstanding series full of intense drama that will keep you on the edge of your seat. What is really nice is that Ms. Hawthorne has ended it in such a beautiful way. All I really can say is WOW!!! This is a must read all the way. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

Yes!!! And NO!!!! I could not put this series down at all! Such a fantastic read. I have a hard time getting engrossed in a series as some book are not as enticing as the last or the next but this series was wonderfully written. I am sad to see the series end but it ended on such a good note and I felt my heart fill with love joy and many other emotions. I was very curious as where Katherine Hawthorne was going to take the story line and she didn’t disappoint one bit. I loved where it went and why it went there.

If you are looking for romance, steam, heartbreak, suspense, thrill, and much more this is the series you need on your shelf!

I will start off saying I ended up buying the series because the story line with these was amazing! It was not all about sex as the cover may make you think. I cannot review just one book because they all flow together and leave you with a cliffhanger every time. Belle, Xander and Sin all have a tie into what happened to Belle’s parents and why they were murdered, each book pulling you in a little more. Lots of twists and turns you never see coming! I could not stop reading! Amazing books.

For those wondering, the sex is thrilling as well, each man alone or together will have you squeezing your thighs while you read. 😉

If you haven't started this series yet, you really need to! Well written, solid and compelling storyline full of intrigue, action, adventure, betrayal, violence and suspense wrapped up as a sweeping romance between Belle, Xander, and Sin. What a page turning event that was complex and detailed with twists and turns that were hard to keep up with. Not a book to skim through, but to enjoy each word at a time!!

The conclusion of one epic story, that has you tied in knots the whole time, don't think about the next day, because everything changes by the minute which makes this such an explosive read. Belle has left but who with, how could she pick Sin over Xander, or Xander over Sin, when the truth comes out punishments are on the table, but before that the horrors of everything that has taken place and what more is to come. Katherine Hawthorne has delivered the perfect story.
