Another cute quickie. Totally safe with likable MCs and insta-love. The blurb pretty much says it all. I liked it but it wasn't any different then the formula used in the first book.
I did like that both Alex and Katy had a bit more tangible chemistry between them and that they spent more on page time together. Loved the ending it was sweet and the epilogue tied everything together with a cute rosy bow! (Side note: it's become a pet peeve that we don't get any solid confirmation of ages for the MCs, not a deal breaker but it does stick out for me, every time.)

Something bad comes something good, I really enjoyed these two. Alex was having a bad day but it turned out to be for the best. And vice versa for Katy she wasn’t looking forward to that day in the least but it was the right timing for her when she comes across Alex.
The narration was great, I loved the character voices for Ray and Alex they were distinct enough to know who was talking without telling us. Again his female narration isn’t overdone or forced thank goodness its subtle enough to know the character is female.

This is my third book by Adele tonight and they are all consistently the same. Quick, sweet and sexy. Good reads if you’re looking for something lighthearted and safe.

This was my first read by this author and I'll be looking for more. I quite enjoyed it. I read it in about an hour, so it wasn't super long.
-no virgins
-no talk of past OM/OW
-no cheating
-no abuse
-dual POV
I say insta-almost-love because although they were taken with each other from first sight, I'm not sure I can say insta-love. Still, they were only together for a few days before the separation, but the H couldn't stand the distance & made her see they could be something.
Very good read. I liked both characters. I don't particularly like when the h is a begging doormat and thankfully this one was not. She was strong on her own & I liked that. Give this one a try. I'm glad I did.

Alex is a lawyer that is going to a small town to do a favor for a lawyer friend. His car breaks down on the way and he loses cell coverage and its only by luck that Katy is passes by on her way to the courthouse. Alex rides with her since he was going there anyways and on the way he learns about why she is going and offers to help her. Alex ends up needing a place to stay for the night so Katy offers her home. Things heat up between them and even though they come from different life styles Alex wants to continue seeing her. However when she stops returning his calls he doesn't know what to do. Will Katy win her case? Can Alex convince her to give him a chance?
This is a quick story that will draw you in from the first page. The chemistry is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

"Wrecked Was Worth the Bill"❤❤
This wrecked was worth the bill. "Wrecked" was written by Adele Niles and I really enjoyed listening to the book. It's part of a five book series that are all standalone. I've enjoyed book 1 and now book 2 so far. Adele has made them amusing, full of laughter, romance, and definitely full of SEX. If you are uncomfortable with actual sexual part then this may not be the book for you.
Randi Johnson is the narrator for all five of the books. He does an Impressive job with books 1 and 2. His old man job here in Wrecked was very hilarious to me. I recommend this book two others and I'm moving forward to book 3 "Bet You're Mine."

Who knew a blown tire would lead to a HEA. When wrecker driver Katy sees Alex's car with a blown tire on the road she stops and offers help. That help leads the lawyer to help Katy in return. Sparks instantly fly and passion ignites only to have Alex go back to his law practice in another town. But can he leave Katy behind? Although this was short and sweet the book was a great read. I am enjoying this series and look forward to more.

Randi Johnson did a good job, I just did not like the story. It had potential. It started off well then just took a dive, sorry. In a short book, when you just can't even take the last 10 minutes, that's telling. I really wanted to like it. I up'd this to 2 stars because of Randi and really, he got 4 stars on Audible. I won't be reading any more of this series.

This is an enjoyable, short and sweet romance. Adele Niles has a wonderful writing style and a way with words, she fits a lot of story into her novella and Randi Johnson brings it to life with his awesome narration. Her characters are nicely developed, they are realistic and ones you can relate to. Alex is driving to Cartersville to work on a case for his parter in their law firm. It is his former home town and he is not thrilled to be going back. Making the trip even worse is that his car breaks down where there is no cell service. Finally someone comes driving by and just his luck it is a wrecker truck from a car repair business. He is surprised to see that it is a beauty of a woman driving the truck and even more surprised that she is heading to the place he needs to be, the courthouse. I really liked Katy, I admired her determination to fight for what is hers. I loved the chemistry between them, also love how everything played out, from him helping her with her case to their hot encounter, to how he could not stay away and then the great twist in the end. I highly recommend this sweet story, a great way to spend an hour of your time. Adele Niles, thank you for this great story.
I listened to the Audible edition, narrated by the talented Randi Johnson, he a wonderful voice performer and an entertaining storyteller. You can hear how much heart he puts into performance as he brings these characters and their story to life. He sets the perfect tone for the story and a nice flair of drama to enhance your listening pleasure. Thank you for another awesome listen🎧

I love these short listens in between my long angstier ones, as they really give me a quick jolt of fun. Adele Niles is a great novella writer and I am loving her Slippery Curves series. Well developed characters, realistic circumstances, and I am thoroughly enjoying myself with this one. Alex breaks down on his way to town, and Katy stops with her tow truck! What unusually wonderful circumstances to meet someone. Insta-lust and we are off with our story. I love how these two mesh, how easily the story flows and how it all ends up. I was pleasantly surprised how Niles pulled it all together in an hour!
Randi Johnson's performance just adds to this story. His deep, raspiness adds to the tension building between Katy and Alex. I found his voices easier to distinguish in the episode and am really enjoying his performances. Will definitely be watching for more of his releases.

This is a novella sized read which packs a lot into it.
The author is not kidding when she warns us that this is a very fast love at first sight story.
With that said I was a bit worried because....REALLY? Love at first site?
Yet, I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, it was fast and even far reaching at times but come on, we warned. Over all it's a fluke meeting between two people who fall in lust/love when spotting each other. Him while broke down heading to a town he never wanted to return to and her on her way to court to fight with her evil step mother. LOL! I know it sounds crazy but crazy is what makes this work. Don't take it so literally, just sit back and enjoy the fast, crazy, hot love story.
It's meant to make you feel good not to over think it.

As the story progresses a connection is made, sparks fly in more than the courtroom, and victory could come for them both. This quick insta-romance read follows Stay For Me in being somewhat light on the romance but thorough on plot and originality. I am liking this author and the series and am wanting to read the next book in the series.

I thought this was a 5 part series, to find out its 5 short stories all with the same plot, which I enjoyed very much.
Author Adele Niles (may she r.i.p.) (passed this week) did a really great job with this book. It's a "this could really happen " book.
Randi Johnson the voice artist did some of his best in this book. He started doing female voices I. this one and you did wish it was done via dual narrator

Wrecked by Adele Niles is a great story to read. This is book number two in this great series that I really enjoyed reading very much. I recommend this story to everyone who likes reading about erotica romances in their stories.

Didn't think I'd like these short listens, but they're perfect for stolen moments. I love that Adele didn't stay with in the gender role norms and made the FEMALE the mechanic. Randi's narration is great! I love how he doesn't may over feminine voices, but still makes his tones and inflections distinctive enough to know which character he's depicting.

I'm loving these short, inst-love stories by Adele Niles. Alex and Katy's story was very sexy...hot attorney meets curvy mechanic. Randi Johnson does a fantastic job with his narration. You can easily tell who each character is. Kudos Randi!!

I like that this series is instalove with some substance. It’s still a bit wham bam jarring but they gave more heart then a lot in this genre. I especially liked Katy’s unconventional job that she maintained even after the hea.

Cute little HEA with all the requirements of a cute rom com. Narration was great, still a little odd to hear a man read the woman’s side, but nothing distracting from the story.
