Saving the Pack (Woodland Packs Book 3) by Amelia Shaw
Description.......
I've been shunned by men for years... And now I'm pregnant to an Alpha wolf and the bear shifters I live with, have sentenced me to death. I was born to a family of bear shifters.... or that was what I believed.
But it turns out it was all a lie.
How did I find out? When it was time to find a mate.
No-one wanted me... they all said I smell strange to them. Wrong.
So I drowned my sorrows at a bar in Little River and met a wolf shifter.
It was meant to be one-night-stand until I found myself pregnant.
Now the bears want me dead and I must find the Alpha wolf who gave me my baby.
But the Alpha is not alone. He's one of a three wolf pack... and miracle upon miracle, his Beta and Omega want me too.
Will they let bears follow through with their punishment, or will the triad of super sexy wolves save me? This story is a standalone novella set in the Woodlands Pack world, can be read in or out of order. A steamy Reverse Harem wolf shifter romance with no cheating and a guaranteed super sweet, happily ever after.
For readers who love Alpha men, and women who fall hard and fast.
My review .......
Celeste had only ever known hurt and rejection. So she was use to it, but it still came as a shock when the bears she thought of as family passed a sentence of death onto her. (She had cooked and cleaned and was practically their slave, but she still thought of them as family) so she’s gotten a little drunk a few months ago, so she’d met a stranger and had sex with him, and yes she’s gotten pregnant by said stranger, but that didn’t mean she was to die!! And what about her poor little baby? It wasn’t their fault, so Celeste did what any sensible female would do.... she ran!!!! Tayte is the Alpha of this little triad. He met a sweet little human in a bar a few months ago, but was too drunk to realise he had his fated mate in his arms. But now he has her, and she’s pregnant. He just needs to keep her safe from the bears that will surely try to take her back!! Over his dead body, his little pack will keep her safe, and if need be, the larger pack he lives with will come to his aid if need be. But why did the bears take her in as a child? Did they know she was meant to be a mate to a wolf? The bears and wolves have never really gotten on, but to keep her away from them, did they have some ulterior motive? As Alpha of this group, he needs to find out, and fast!! Dane is the sweet omega, he’s use to being the caregiver, the homemaker (although cooking isn’t his strongest point, he’s happy if his little pack is happy.) So when Celeste comes on the scene, yes he’s happy his family is complete, but having his mate already pregnant with the alphas child, Dane is a little insecure as to his role in the pack now, what if she doesn’t want him? What’s he to do? Sam is Tayte’s Beta, the second in command, but with Celeste in the triad now, all manner of feelings are being stirred up, jealousy that it’s the alphas baby (with a triad it could be anyone’s baby, so all will have a vested interest) nerves, what if Tayte and Celeste don’t want to be in a triad? And hurt, Celeste didn’t even seem to worry when he and Dane left the bedroom. But he does know he will do everything in his power to keep her safe, she may not want him, but he’s bonded to her already, he would give his life up for her. Finding their mate was great, finding out she was already pregnant with their alpha’s baby, not so great, Sam and Dane felt a little left out, what is Celeste only wanted them because they came as a triad? What if their Alpha didn’t want to share Celeste? This book was a little different from the others, Celeste already knew about the shifter world, what she didn’t know was that she was fated to be a wolf mate and not a bear mate. With the other two books in this trilogy the human females were unaware there were shifters in the world. So they took a little more convincing they were mates to three wolf shifters. I did find it a little harder to connect with this triad and their mate, only because of the instant love Dane and Sam had for Celeste (with the other two books it was a little slower in forming) also some of the sex scenes seemed a little forced (a good story doesn’t always need loads of unnecessary sex) but I did like the fact we had more info on why the bears were trying to find and keep human females away from the wolf packs. And I enjoyed catching up with the other two triads from previous books.
This is the third story in the Woodland Packs series. You don't have to read the stories in order to understand this one, but you would understand a bit more if you did. I enjoyed reading this story because I like the way Amelia Shaw creates her characters so you feel that you know these people. You feel for the packs that they have no females and haven't had any children born to the pack since they were born. She created this world where the shifters know about each other but keep their secret from the humans. So far in this series, they have always had problems with the nearby bear shifter group. The bears keep trying to kill the humans who can become wolf mates. You find out in the second story that the old bear Alpha thought it was fate that the wolves would die out since they haven't had any children. What nobody figured out was that the bear Alpha had been plotting to keep the potential human wolf mates away from the wolves.
Celeste has been living with the bear pack since she was a baby. She knows about shifters but isn't one herself. She makes Cinderella look like she is at Club Med. Everyday she has to clean all the bathrooms in a 47 unit apartment complex the bear pack lives in. She lives in one of those apartments with five other bear roommates and she has to clean that entire apartment every day too. She is treated like skum. Everyone has always verbally abused her and she has been beaten and cut her whole life. This story starts with her finding out that she is pregnant from a one night stand. When her roommates start harassing her because the kitchen isn't clean, they smell that she is pregnant, not only that but she is pregnant by a wolf shifter. She is sentensed to death in the morning for being such a trautor to the pack. She escapes and leads them on a merry chase. She had heard that there is a doctor, Claire (story 1), that works at the hospital that lives with the wolves so she ends up there, looking like she escaped from a hostage situation. Claire wasn't there but a nurse who knows Claire was there, Nevaeh. Nevaeh also lives with the wolves and understands the story. Nevaeh (story 2) had dated Trevor, the Alpha's son when she was younger and he kept stalking her after they broke up. Nevaeh takes her to Claire who understand what is going on and calls Tayte, the baby daddy, to her house, along with his small pack.
Tayte, the Alpha of his small pack had gone into town with another pack after Nevaeh came into the pack. He was lonely and was hoping to find someone to make him feel better. After getting drunk, he picked up Celeste and they slept together. He kept thinking about her, but being so drunk he couldn't remember everything clearly. When Claire calls his pack to her house, he doesn't know what to think. When he, Sam the Beta and Dane the Omega show up, they are all stunned when they see Celeste. They understand what she is and are amazed. When Tayte touches her, she passes out, and Claire tells the others to go ahead and get it over with and touch her too while she is passed out. She knows that when each of them touch her, she will pass out, so get it all done at once and get on with life. When she comes too, they explain it all to her how she is their mate. She shares that she is pregnant with Tayte's baby, thinking that they will be upset or mad about it. They are thrilled beyond it all. They take her to their house and tell her that she can/will stay with them. She is thinking that they are only doing it out of pity and only because she is pregnant when they are over the moon happy not only to find their fated mate, but that she is already pregnant in a society that hasn't had children in the past generation.
You will want to read the story to find out on how a lack of communication and trust almost kills a couple of the major people in this story.

Celeste had a rough, traumatic start to life being a human brought up by a bear pack who made her life a misery until she got one night to forget about everything going on in her life. Weeks later she found out she was pregnant & when the bears smelt that it was to a wolf pack they sentenced her to death hearing this she escaped running remembering that the man she met who she met in the bar told her if she ever needed help to go to the hospital & ask for Claire. She kept going until she realised the bears could track her scent so she stripped off her clothes & carried on running until she got to the hospital Claire however. Neveah was on duty seeing this distraught, terrified woman saying she was told by someone to see Claire if she was ever needed help. As Nevaeh was Claire's friend she realised there was more to this womans than just needing medical help. Getting her to open up to her Celeste told her about the night she spent with Tayte in the bar knowing who her was & that he was one of the Alphas in the wolf pack she phoned Grayson who was Claire's Alpha telling him about Celeste & that she was bringing her home. Knowing this mean't she was Tayte's packs mate he quickly went to their house waking the pack up telling them to meet at his house to explain. When the got there Tayte seeing Celeste remembered that night finding out she was pregnant with his baby Sam & Dane the other members of the triad pack immediately felt jealous knowing that Tayte had already mated with her. After telling them all about her life with the bear pack she went home with the 3 of them she had overwhelming feelings to Sam & Dane but knowing how the triad pack worked she felt that they did not want her or her because she was pregnant with Tayte's baby. The way her life had always been she thought that her life was going to change for the better being their pack mate & was scared that they did not feel the same about her they all talked about the way they felt then thinking it was because she had not been with the other 2 she wanted to show them how much she felt for them aswell. After making to love with them ALL their connection proved how strong, suddenly she was in pain & thought she was losing her baby so the guys took her to the hospital where Claire assured herthe baby was OK, lthough glad as she was about this she thought that Sam & Dane would probably be happy if she did lose her baby as Tayte was the father & they wanted a baby by all them. They quickly told her that was not the case that they still loved her & her baby. Everything with them was perfect until they found out the bear were going to attack. Celeste thought her life was perfect never having anything to do with the bear pack but she had no idea that this was now going to have a new serious impact on her life with the drama & hurt follows. This is another book from Amelia Shaw that you definately have to read.
Great ending to the series Celeste is a human that grew up in the bear den. Abused and treated as inferior her whole life. She escaped for a night and drank away her sorrows and then hooked up with a wolf shifter. 8 weeks later she is pregnant and terrified. When her alpha finds out she is sentenced to death. All Celeste has wanted was a family of her own. She escapes and goes looking for Claire the doctor Tayte told her about, the human mate to a pack in his village. Nevaeh is just getting off duty when Celeste show up. Tayte, Sam and Dane are surprised to be woken in the middle of the night by their friend Gray. Finding Celeste. Learning she is all their mates and a baby on the way is overwhelming. Sam and Dane can't help but feel they are after thoughts. Celeste is accepting of her new situation, though can't help but feel that eventually they won't want her any more. They go through a lot of growing pains before settling into a comfortable family life and waiting on their baby. Trouble is brewing. The bears are lurking around. Learning from Celeste what they are up against. The wolf packs face the real possibility of being destroyed. Dex, Gray and Tayte have a plan. Trevor proves difficult, he wants Celeste. Tayte has to make an agreement that goes against everything, but has not intention of keeping to it, he just need to buy some time. As the saying goes eavesdroppers never hear any good of themselves. Celeste thinks Tayte has betrayed her and puts her self and the baby in grave danger. Sam and Dane blame Tayte and won't even give him a chance to explain. Celeste rejects him. Tayte has lots everything. He loves his pack and he will do anything to protect them and his community. Fast paced and steamy. Celeste had a lot of esteem issues. I really felt for Tayte. He did the only logical thing he could to protect everyone and buy time. Everyone was hung up on what he said and unwilling to listen to the reason behind it. Great ending to the series. Nice epilogue to wrap up Tayte's pack story. It would be nice to have a series wrap up epilogue.

Celeste has lived a long time with a group of bears. However when she learned that after spending a night out with a guy that she was pregnant she knew the bears wouldn't be happy. She just didn't know they would sentence her to death. It seems the guy she slept with was a wolf shifter and it was his baby she was carrying. So when she knew they were asleep she broke out and snuck away to the hospital where a wolf shifter's mater worked. Knowing it was the only way she and her baby would be safe. Tayte is the alpha of his triad and when he is awakened late one night about an urgent matter he doesn't understand what he is being told at first. He thinks they are being force to take his ne night stand as a mate because he told her about them being shifters. Yet that's not the case because one him and his pack touch her and she passes out they see that she their fated mate. Celeste is different from the other fated mates because when she comes to she doesn't fight being their mate and she is pregnant by the alpha already. Will they be able to protect her from the bears? Will the bears leave them be?
This is another great installment in this series. Once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.

A pregnant woman sentenced to death by the bear shifters. A daring escape to a group of wolf shifters and a reunion with the baby’s father. Can her life really change? She has hope but there are Significant obstacles to overcome if she Is to get her fairytale ending.
This story is a standalone novella set in the Woodlands Pack World and a wonderful book of love and acceptance. It is a paranormal erotic reverse harem romance about wolf and bear shifters. The characters are well crafted and engaging with distinctive personalities complete with strengths and weaknesses. The story is told from different character’s points of view, allowing access to their thoughts, feelings, past experiences, motivations and actions. The dialogue is interesting and the erotic scenes well done. They add a lot to the storyline. This is a rollercoaster of emotional drama as the characters deal with their pasts, internal struggles and everything the world is throwing at them. The storyline is fast paced and smooth, filled with drama, danger, love, erotic scenes and touching romantic moments. If you love books about shifters, love at first site, books that pull at your heart strings, and reverse harem stories, you will enjoy this one.

This is the third installment in the series of triad wolf males and one human female to complete it. The wolves were almost extinct with no female werewolves left. So far, two human females became a true mate to two groups of three males in each. Celeste has been with the bears since they found her wandering around. None of them would touch her since she was human and kept her around as a slave. One night she got out and mated with a wolf…now she is pregnant! The bears discover this and want to kill her. She escapes and finds her triad! During her pregnancy, she overhears her Alpha declare the bears can have her back after the baby is born! What will she do? She is torn asunder and cannot believe what she is hearing after everything they shared and told her. She is going to leave and not come back! What is the real story? What will it take to convince her she is wrong? Will the bears get her or will there be war? Who will survive and who will not? This is another reverse harem shifter story with a HEA and steamy scenes. I received this book via Booksprout and am leaving a voluntary review.
This book is amazing! I couldn't put it down. Celeste has been living the with bear shifters since they found her in the woods as a baby. But to them she is worthless as she is only human. A chance meeting in a bar with a wolf shifter changes everything as she finds herself pregnant and at odds with the den. She runs away to save herself and her baby and finds herself running into town and into the hospital looking for Claire, a doctor whose name she was given by Tayte, the father of her baby. She is sent to the wolf shifter town and Tayte, Sam and Dane are amazed to not only find their fated mate but that she is pregnant. There is trouble ahead though as the bears come looking for her and won't give up until they get her. She hears some things she shouldn't when the wolf Alphas meet with the bears and runs off. Finding out what Tayte has said and done sends him away from his pack to offer himself to the bears. Just in time though, his town Alphas arrive to save him from the bears and himself and he and his pack finally get their mate and their happily ever after.

This is the third book in this series and once again it is a triad but this is a little different than the others as there is a bond between the alpha and the human first
Celeste may be human but she has lived her entire life with a bear shifter family she may think of them as family but she is actually their slave as she does all the cooking and cleaning A few months earlier she had a night out and met a wolf shifter one thing led to another and now she is pregnant and the bears have sentenced her to death. She isn't going to let that happen after all her baby is innocent so she sets of running looking for the alpha that is her babies father. She soon tracks down Tayte he was so drunk the night he met her he never realised she was his mate Now he will do whatever he needs to keep her safe as will his triad pack mates Dane and Sam They may love her and want to protect her but adding her to there triad as shaken them all and they are all trying to find their new roles. Will they be able to keep he safe why are the bears stealing wolf mates and will they all stay together after the birth You will have to read to see
This is a quick read. It is number three in the series. I haven't read the first two but I understood what was going on easily. So if you have an hour or two and just want something short, yet entertaining than this would be an okay read. Celeste was found as a baby and taken into the bear shifter pack. When she didn't shift years later they knew she was human. But even before that knowledge the bears treated her as a slave. She had to clean for them, cook for them and anything else they didn't want to do themselves. When they figured out that she was pregnant after a one night stand they sentenced her to death because they could scent that she was impregnated by a wolf. Now she must run for her and her unborn babies life. She goes to someone that her one night stand Tayte, told her could help her if needed. She then finds out that Tayte is part of a triad family. Dane, Sam and Tayte are Beta, Omega and Alpha they are only missing the female in their family. But even though they may have found her, it doesn't mean they will get their happy ever after anytime soon.
Celeste has been reared by the Bear pack but is treated like a slave. She is not wanted by any of them because she is meant to be a fated mate for the wolf packs. Celeste finds herself pregnant to a wolf she had a one night stand with and the bears sentence her to death. Celeste runs away before she is put to death. She makes it to the hospital to find Clair who Tayte (the wolf she slept with) told her about. Celeste meets up with Tayte who is the alpha and his pack who are her fated mates. She has trouble trusting them that she wont be pushed aside once the pack are tired of her as she is used to with the bears. Celeste hides out when the wolf pack and the bears meet up and she hears a plan which makes her believe she has been betrayed. She runs away and falls down a cliff and ends up in hospital giving birth to her baby early. The wolf pack end up going to war with the bears to end the conflict once and for all. Everything works out in the end and there is a HEA.

Another amazing read in this series. This is book three and I can't for the next one. This feels like a modern day cinderella feel. Celeste has lived all her life with the bear shifters. She was a human and on the bottom on the tote pole. She cleaned all day long. She decided to go out one night and she met up with Tayte, who is a Alpha wolf shifter and they had one magical night. She finds out that she is pregnant and the bears have decided to kill her so she must escape. She ends up at the hospital to seek out Claire who lives with the wolves and ends up meeting Nevah instead and she brings her to the wolves. She meets up with Tayte, Sam and Dane her fated mates. Once they realize she is the one for them they will stop at nothing to protect her and their child. The story touches on the previous stories, you don't have to read them before this but it can give you a more in depth background on the story and characters. They chemistry between the characters is off the charts. Another great hit.

Celeste was a member of the Little Rock Bear Den she was human so no bear wanted anything to do with her and to pay her rent she had to clean 64 apartments, all the bears frowned on her and they were verbally abusive towards her but now she is pregnant and her adopted uncle was sniffing her they knew and she would be punished for her mistake. Her uncle said that she smelled like wolf but she was being taken to the alpha bear but as soon as she could Celeste would run and she knows where she will run to. Tayte was woken up by banging on his door his beta Sam and his omega Dane wanted to know what was going on it was Grayson another alpha he told them to get ready and go to his place, when they arrived Tayte remembered Celeste he was very drunk when they had a one night stand but seeing Celeste standing there he knew that she was his mate but Celeste has an even bigger surprise for him and his pack of 3 wolves. Fantastic story I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
Third book in this series that tells it's own story as well as bringing the conflict with the bears to it's conclusion. Celeste was raised as a human slave to the bear clan. When a one night stand results in a pregnancy, she knows her only hope of survival is to find the wolf pack and the wolf that is the father of her baby. But when she does, can she trust that the love and acceptance that she finds is really true, or only an illusion. Tayte never imagined that his one night stand would turn out to be his family pack's mate. But Tayte, Sam, and Dane don't have an easy road ahead of them convincing their mate that their love is real and that they really want her forever and not just for the baby she's carrying. A misunderstanding leads to a dangerous confrontation with the bears that just may break this family apart before they really ever have a chance. Filled with action and emotion this story will have you glued to the pages to find out the fate of this pack.
Celeste, a human, has lived in a bear clan for years. She was considered lower than low being a human. She had gone out for a night out and met with a wolf, named Tayte. Eight weeks later she;s trying to hide that she;s pregnant but being bears they smell it on her. The bears she works for and considers family take her to the elders and theirruling is to kill her in the morning. That night she flees and makes it to the hospital where Claire and Nevaeh work. When she tells her story to Neveah she takes her to the wolf den. There she meets her triad. Now she is learning how to be a mate to a triad but will the bears come to find her to finally put her through her sentencing. Will her triad save her or will jealousy that the alpha had her first without them make them turn their backs on her? Another fantastic read and story in this series!

When you hear the phrase, 'sentence to death', RUN! Celeste lived with the Den of Bears for her entire 23 years. They found her in the woods. She was treated badly and made to clean all the toilets in the apartment building, cook and be a general servant disrespected, ignored and dismissed. She met Tayte in a bar in an attempt to drown her sorrows, had a one nighter the ended up pregnant. The bears smelt the wolf on her and condemned her to death. Like any smart woman, she ran. Did she run to a safe place? Did the bears catch her before she reached her destination? Did Tayte welcome her? Was he living alone? Was she safe? Good story. Celeste was damaged raised as she was and her esteem was extremely low. Can she be built up? Surviving living with the bears took a lot of grit. Choosing to run when she did took intelligence, courage and the high instincts of a survivor. Nice story. I look forward to reading more about these characters. I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.
Celeste had been sentenced to death by the Bears so she runs to the the wolf shifter Tayte. Celeste had been found by the bears in the woods as a child and when they were unable to find who had lost her they kept her and she had grown doing all the jobs others were adverse to doing. When they found out she was human they shunned her but kept her slaving for them. She crept out and got drunk one night and had an encounter with Alpha wolf Tayte. Weeks later she is being sick and knows she is pregnant but when the bears find out they sentence her to death so she runs away. She goes in search of the woman Tayte had mentioned who works at the Hospital which leads her to Tayte and his family pack but the bears with not leave it at that.

After reading book 1, “The Pack Mate” and book 2 “Claiming their Mate” I was ready to read book 2 “Saving the Pack”. The book is an entertaining tale, well-written with a smooth flow. The MC Celeste, Tayte, Sam and Dane were enjoyable to get to know. I loved how Celeste had started to grow stronger and more confident after the abuse she endured. Tayte, Sam and Dane were the perfect mates for her. The other wolf alphas and their mates from books 1 & 2 added their spice to the story as well. I hated Trevor the bear shifter alpha for his ignorance and lack of tolerance toward Celeste. I highly recommend this book.

A very fast paced entertaining paranormal. This is the 1st book I've read by Amelia Shaw and I'm impressed. It was easy to jump into, tho I understand it's not the 1st of the series, and kept me turning the pages. Easily read within a few hours. I'm boggled with the concept of 3 hot men, each with their own spin in life, but making a whole when paired with 1 true mate. The scenes were hotness! Drama and action for the whole pack rounded it out to give all the feels! The many POVs did get a bit much for me as I had to stop and remember whose POV I was reading at times which stops my imagery flow, but for the most part it read pretty seamlessly. I received an advance reader's copy from Booksprout and am voluntarily giving my honest opinions and thoughts.
Celeste is a young 22 year old young woman that just found out that she is pregnant by a one night stand. Celeste has been raised by the bears. Celeste has been slaving for the bears all her life. They have just informed her that she was going to be executed for sleeping with a wolf and getting pregnant by one. Celeste has decided to run away that night to save herself but her unborn child. Celeste remembers the night that Tayte told her about Claire being a doctor at the hospital in town. Tayte, Sam and Dane get a rude awaking when Grayson comes knocking on there door. I enjoyed reading this book. I loved the storyline and plot. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
"Saving the Pack" by Amelia Shaw had some interesting elements, but ultimately fell a bit short for me. The premise of a struggling werewolf pack and the protagonist's determination to help them was engaging, and I appreciated the author's world-building.
However, the pacing felt uneven. Some sections dragged, while others rushed through crucial plot points. The characters, while likable enough, lacked depth, and I found myself wanting more emotional connection. The romance, a key element, felt a little underdeveloped and predictable.
There were definitely flashes of potential, and the writing was competent. But overall, "Saving the Pack" felt like it needed more polish to truly shine. It's a decent read for fans of the genre, but don't expect anything groundbreaking.
I'm going through a phase now and I'm reading a lot of wolf shifter romances. This book was a pleasant surprise and I'm glad that I gave it a chance.
Celeste's life has been harsh from the day her adopted-bear shifter-family found out she's human. They've been nothing but cruel to her and keeps mistreating her and have her as their slave. After an one-night-stand she finds out that she's pregnant and flee to save herself and her baby.
Tayte is the stranger that changed her life. As an Alpha wolf, he's responsible for his own pack, his Beta Sam and his Omega Dane. Celeste is going to change their dynamics and complete their family.
The book has the right amount of drama. It wasn't over the top and kept the story interesting. I really enjoyed the book and I wanted more. I'll be checking out the rest of the books as well!!!

This is an intriguing reverse harem shifter romance & I really enjoyed reading it. The plot is well-written & suspenseful with some life-threatening events. The characters are quite well-developed & interesting. There is: a human female (Celeste) sentence to death by the bears shifters, the three wolf shifters she gets involved with (Tayte, Sam & Dane), bear shifters, wolf shifters, fated mates, a wolf triad, self-esteem issues, threats, danger, enemies, deceit, betrayal, desperation, confusion, eavesdropping, misunderstandings, compromises, torture, confrontations, conflict, violence, injuries, apologies, love, contentment, some steam & a satisfying happy ending.
Saving the Pack by Amelia Shaw is the third book in the Woodlands Pack series. This book is about a human named Celeste who had lived with and been treated badly all her life by the bear clan. When they threaten her life she runs away to save herself and this changes her whole future. This is a wonderful, surprising, and sweet paranormal romance. I found this book to be an especially exciting and compelling reverse harem romance between Celeste and her triad of wolf shifter mates that ends with a perfect happy ever after ending. Saving the Pack is the perfect, romantic, feel good, shifter romance.
All three books were good, and had an excellent polt/storyline. But throughout all of the books they seemed very rushed, I get that they are dated mates but I would have liked to have seen the human mates that didn't know about shifters struggle a little more with accepting that 1) shifters exist and 2) that they now have three mates. I also would have liked to see a little bit more about the best shifters, maybe see why their alpha believed what he did, and if it was due to that was what he truly believes or if it was in fact due to some type of psychosis. But other than that it great read
This was my least favorite. I hated the FMC. At least the bear problem was solved? I think? Anyway, how tf were the wolves losing to the bears? The bears were unorganized, cowards and lazy...they also didn't explain why they hated the wolves so much. There's also no real explanation as to why there were no she-wolves anymore or how the bear just believes the wolves were meant to die? It felt inadequate to me. Like there must've been a bigger picture there but none of the three books actually explained anything and was just focused on the 4 characters all together? I'm just being picky here, but I don't like it when world building is skimped on...
