What’s better than one crazy book character?! ✌🏽‼️ And that’s exactly what you got with the Donaldson twins Kareem and Naseem! These two were certified!! 🤣🤣 yooo I never laughed so much reading about their antics. I haven’t read about a crazier duo since King and Tristian and they were saints compared to these two! Stori was forced to grow up at an early age when her mother decided she wanted to sign over guardianship of her 7year old sister at the time when Stori was only 18. She provided financial assistance but she did not want to be a mother and instead wanted to follow behind her rich husband. Stori and Toi were the definition of my sisters keeper. These two were inseparable and I pity the fool *Mr. T’s voice* that tried to come between them. Stori had her fair share of loveless relationships and it definitely came back to haunt her like a runaway train as she got older. After her husband Gavin’s betrayal was exposed he freed up space for her forever n*gga to snatch her up and Nas did not play about Stori. They had more drama from ex’s than the law should allow and with Nas’ twin Remo dating Stori’s bff Kalani, they had double the drama. This was an entertaining *ss book and I expect nothing less from Chenell at this point. She will always get an instant click from me! I love her writing style and how the story flows as one continuous event. I find that I prefer this over the story being told from the characters POV. I can’t wait to see what else her catalog has in store for me.

Whew was this book messiness & drama but I loved it. Stori is that bxtch & made sure no one fckd with her. I loved Stori trigger happy ass. Stori relationship with Toi was adorable,I loved it. Gavin bxtch ass should have gotten worse. How did he think he was going to hide a whole baby from his wife all while her sister was babysitting the baby; just trifling. Now to the BDE Nas & Remo identical twin brother..whew they were both crazy as fck but I loved it. Remo ass was crazy toxic but nobody was having Kalani and he made sure everybody knew she was his. He reminds of Laike IKYKY. Nas made Stori his and put her in position to be boss she is. The sign language between the twins was also adorable. Milan and Corey got exactly what deserved. I lowkey want a spin-off with Toi & Eric.

this book was definitely a page turner that i do not regret! so many laughs & never a dull moment. in the end everyone got what they deserved (death included).

Amazing

Worst Case Scenario was so good! I can honestly say I have loved every single title by Chenell Parker. Her pen game is dope! Stori is a strong female lead and no one does strong female leads like Miss Parker. I loved the way she cared for Toi and rose to the occasion when Lady dipped on them. She didn’t take no mess for Corey and she didn’t hesitate to dip when Gavin’s secret was made known. I absolutely adore the bond between her and Kalani but my favorite bond is those Donaldson twins. Man they were two alpha males and crazy about each other! I enjoyed eating them settle down with Stori and Kalani and love them just as crazy and hard. This book was entertaining from page 1! I laughed so hard at times and I was anxious trying to prepare myself for the worst case scenario!

This wasn’t a bad a story. It was kinda long and drawn out, but I am grateful that it was all in one book and not a series. Props to Stori and Kalanni for dealing with men as crazy as Nas and Remo. I wouldn’t, couldn’t have done it.

I usually don't read books about where i live, i don't know it just takes away something from the story to me.. But let me tell you I'm going looking for Nas and Remo tomorrow lol... There is not that many barber shop \salons on this side with identical twins for owners lol... I know they not cross the water , but I'm going to still go over there and check lol...

I loved this story only two things i didn't like was Toi not giving her mom a chance once she came back and started trying to be a mother to her after apologizing and realized her mistakes she just was looking for a second chance

The fact that she slept with Nas the same day, waiting a day would've been good lol... But other then that I loved it

Great read...I just felt like it was unnecessarily long. And the twins weren't Alpha's to me. They were just bossy and it got a little irritating for me. I liked that Stori was good with handling guns. It was unexpected lol I do agree with other comments that say Chenell recycles storylines so it's almost predictable. But it didn't take away from being a great entertaining read.

This was so good, so real, so funny, so oh my god, so everything. I couldn't stop laughing and stop smiling and stop from reading and stop from thinking about it...
Nas and Stori, oh wow!!! I want a Nasseer for sure...where can I get one... Man, he was the epitome alpha male, bad boy, gangster, hood boss man and kingpin. He was intelligent, beautiful and very well endowed and down to earth. He don't play and no body crosses him or his brother. He is the MAN to know...
Stori, wow, what a gal... Chick was as strong, as alpha, as intelligent as Nas and she was the right one for him... Bonnie and Clyde ain't got nothing on these two.. She will go to war for her love one
Remo, man oh man oh man.... If I can't have Nas, I will take him in a heart beat, fault and all... Keliani was the perfect one for him. Corey and Milan got exactly what they deserved. Am so glad Misty moved one and Lady came back around. Gavin needed to get a bigger dose of his own medicine but he learned quick. Toi was so sweet and gentle. Jarvis was so funny...
This story was so different than anything I have ever read. Take a hood, gangster, dope dealing crew but it's Kevin hart and eddy Murphy the lead characters and you got yourself with the worst case scenario with Nas and Remo.... So good!!!

What a great read!

I loved this story! Nas and Reno were out there willing but Stori and Kalani games then men to a certain extend, they still did what they wanted. Gavin was a silly man and then Milan and Misty straight up a mess! The story was really good and Chenell did her thing as usual! The moral of this story is you can run and do your dirt but karma always comes back around. Also, anyone can change for the better! Loved it!

I just read this novel again in preparation for Chenell's latest read and it truly didn't disappoint! Nas and Remo had me cracking up again! Stori and Kalani didn't understand they were locked in for life with these two! Corey and Milan were playing with their life and got dealt dirty! Gavin still is out here talking reckless, he better watch it! Still a 5 star novel! Loved it!!!!

Dangerous Twins

WOW!! This was a excellent story!!
Where do I start? I loved the way that Stori took charge and raised her younger sister Toi, I didn’t like her husband Galvin he needed to find his own identity, so glad his Karma came back and slapped him in his face. I loved the twins Nas & Remo they were Always down for the cause!! Milan and her sister Misty we’re straight up sack chasers. I loved it!!

This was a pretty intense read... There was lots of drama, lying, cheating, stealing with a big side of crazy... This storyline kept me entertained the whole time... Then just when everyone was setting down... Here comes the reincarnation of all the crazy that we seen...
Stori was a beautiful smart young woman... She had to take on parenting at a young age after their mother up and left them to take care of themselves... She had to now raise her little sister Toy... I will say that Stori did an amazing job with Toy... Stori was out here making moves making sure that her and her sister are okay... I will give it to their mother in making sure that she held things down for them financially... But with the way that Stori is... I know that no matter what her and Toy would have always been good... With how strong Stori was... I just didn't understand her choice in men... She always ended up with men that were no where near her level... It was like she had to be the man and woman in the relationships... The worse part is that these men knew this and tried to take advantage of the type of person that Stori was... But in the end we see where that eventually got them... Stori only had a couple of boyfriends... One when she was a little younger named Cory... He had it good and got lazy and comfortable... Then there was Gavin... Him and Stori got married even though Stori was not in love with him... But they were making it work... That is until Gavin started trying to be like other men... He thought he was all that because he had Stori locked down as his wife and all the men wanted her... But all it took was a major mess up on his part and all of his happiness was snatched away quickly... See him being sneaky got him caught up in some mess he could not get out of... Trying to fit in where he didn't belong cost him his happiness... Stori was an amazing woman... She always took care of home and her man no matter what... So it was really a big loss for Gavin... But the next man knew what he had...
Then we have Nas and Remo... They are twins and let me say they are super wild and crazy... They are super close and have that twin intuition... They have been living carelessly wild all their life... But all it takes is the right woman... Nas was married to an ex stripper named Milian... She is worthless... She married Nas thinking that now that she had him locked down he would change... Well he used her for what he needed when he needed... She knew this yet still thought she was really the one... He actually told her that she wasn't and she still didn't believe him... That was until the right one happened to come in his life and man did things change... Milian had so many chances after this yet she still kept playing with her life time and time again... Even after being warned and given passes...
Remo was more wild than Nas... Nas was more quiet and patient while Remo was hot headed and moved without thinking some times... Well Remo had the right woman... He just could not do right by her...Kalina is Stori's best friend and the woman that Remo is in love with... But he just can't stop cheating on her so she finally walked away... But no matter what she did... He would not let her move on... He was out here doing him and expecting her to just sit and wait for him to be ready to settle down... Well she showed him...
Stori and Kalina were very strong and independent women... So crossing paths with Nas and Remo was really a battle... But once these women let it be known that thry will not accept just anything... That act right kicked in... Trust me... A man knows when he has found the right woman...
It was good to see that the right woman can really change a man without even having to put in extra work to get him there... These men knew what they had and made the changes needed to make sure their relationship was locked... This only made them better men...
Well onto my next book to see what this author has on deck...

Twin brothers there off the chain real Alpha males but kinda crazy 🤣🤣🤣 They both ain't playing no games about there women at all or there ex's

Happiness and falling in love is what they want
But a little of drama ex's don't know when to let go

I really Enjoyed the Relationship Stori have with her sister Toi Raising her when her mom choose not to be parent.
And like friendship Kalani and Stori have as well.

But then you add these twins Nas &Remo Get steaming relationship and mixer of drama

Then Jarvis there big brother and Wife who raised them took very good care of them But once his Nephews were born especially on his birthday he doesn't play no games at all but Ill say they gonna give Nas & Stori a run for there money....

Now let's talk about Gavin he was a follower didn't not have a mind of his own at all he 30 years old but couldn't not do things on his own keep calling a grown man your friend but didn't recognize Nas didn't see 🙈 him the same way and..He was wrong telling other men bragging about your wife sex life anything that pertaining to there relationship should never be spoken on instead of bragging and being jealous of Toi who was a child scandalous part to me when he letting Toi watch his daughter knowing it could eventually come out and it did what you do in the dark 🌑 always come to the light...
Now he has a girlfriend say move on.

Misty knew did wrong eventually got herself together to.
To bad Milan her sis could not do the same thing lost her life because she couldn't let go and Corey was just sad dude period mad because he let go Stori dropped you but was Jealous because Nas was getting bread so Corey choose to steal. I'm going to say most certainly awesome read this story.... You will not be disappointed at all I'm recommended this Author!!!!

I forced myself to finish this. I hate DNFing a book.


I found myself skimming the majority of this book. & it got worse towards the end. I definitely was reading to finish this book. I don’t know, it gave boring. Besides the twins, no character stood out. The twins were funny, unhinged and enjoyable to read about it to an extent. Some of the crap they did were very questionable.That’s it tho.

I hate how the story read. As a reader you knew exactly what was going to happen. Nothing surprised me at all. Also the author over explained too much to the point where she was re explaining things she already wrote about.

Gavin was trash. Cory was trash.

Remo was trash. Why Nas couldn’t have friends??? At one point I was looking at him side ways like bro you love love your brother what the heck?? It was too weird.

Stori was trash. Who marries somebody they don’t love? Your whole husband and she never called him bae, baby etcc??

Also you waited until after they hooked up to explain that Stori & Nas were been feeling each other? Trash writing. I’m over here thinking she only ever saw him as her husband friend the same for Nas but naw the moment they got together all of a sudden boom they been wanted each other. Naw should have been let us know that before they hooked up.

They made Gavin sound like a hater towards Toi but Stori did only cared about her sister wants & needs more than her husbands. She even said she ain’t really like that man so why stay in the relationship???

A Worst Case Scenario That Didn’t Deliver

This book was just okay for me. A little too, for lack of a better word, ratchet. This was actually a Book Babes pick, chosen by one of the girls after seeing it hyped on TikTok—so I went in with an open mind.
While I’m usually fine exploring different genres, this one just didn’t hit for me. I didn’t feel like it broadened my horizons or introduced anything new—no elevated storytelling, no fresh vocabulary, and honestly, nothing that felt memorable.
I kept waiting for the plot to go somewhere. Was the message about winning? Survival? Power? I’m still not completely sure. It felt like the story centered around drug dealers and killers “winning the game,” and that alone wasn’t enough to keep me invested.
I really wished for more twists, more turns, more “wow” moments—something unexpected that would make me pause or rethink the direction of the story. Unfortunately, those moments never came. Because of that, this one won’t be a favorite or a hold-a-classic for me.
Overall: Not terrible, but not impressive either. It just didn’t give what I was hoping it would.

Bomb read

This is my first time reading from this author and I must say that it was a really good book. I love books that has me laughing, yelling at the characters but all around keeping me intrigued. When I read that Lady was leaving Toi with Stori, I thought she would leave them struggling but it was the opposite. No she wasn't there for the important things but I honestly believed that she knew Stori would take care of Toi with no problems. I liked that she taught Stori ways to never be broke, the hustle is always important. Now Remo and Nas are two types of psycho. Yes their patience levels are different but they don't go around bothering people but I must say they do finish things. I love there ride or die attitude. Kelani was definitely the friend we all wish to have. She there when you need her and even when you don't think you do. She brings that balance to Stori's life as well as Remo's. This was a really great stand alone!!! I will definitely be reading more from this author.

The Stori of twin

The twins drove me crazy just by reading this, so I can only imagine how they did Jarvis. Gavin has to be the absolute dumbest married man ever. Friend's or not, you never let the doors of your martial business open to anyone. The book describes him as a follower and that's exactly he is. A dumb one at that. And salty....just dumb and salty to the very end. Stori is a straight savage. Having to go through what she went through I don't blame her. Her instincts from day one was to protect; which is why Toi turned out to be the respectable women she became. Toi's character was very pleasant, I like that she wasn't a snotty kid. The story is full of idiots who never get right. The twins are ruthless but they always make sure their families come first. Remi is nutcase, he does not have a calm bone in his whole body. One thing I liked was the displayed affection with Remo and Nas. Remo really loves his bother, like no one gets in the way of that relationship. What would really be interesting is to see their replicas story play out cause they BAD BAD.

Mannn listen. This book is so good. Like sooooooo good . From the first to the very last word, I was hooked 🫶🏽 Stori & Naseem🤌🏽 Kalani & Remo 🤌🏽 Lady and Jarvis 🤌🏽 heck even Toi and Eric 🤌🏽 I really could write a whole four page essay, getting in-depth on every single detail that I loved and enjoyed about this read, but I’m not going to do y’all like that lol. I can’t spoil anything with this review, but trust me when I say that this is a MUST READ 🗣️(multiple times) ! The only instance in this book that I couldn’t hear to read was a forceful situation that you will understand when you get to it. Besides that, this is truly a Masterpiece 🤌🏽 Buckle Up for the ride, because these twins did not come to play about their women or their offspring. And the women most definitely did not come to play about either. Thank you for such a great read ! As always Ms Parker delivered

I gave this story 4 stars because I enjoyed the story and characters. I loved Stori, she was sweet, loyal and no nonsense. When she needed to be stuff she stepped to the plate. Her love for her sister Toi was endearing. I even respected that even though she didn't love her husband she remained faithful. Gavin was weak and stupid so I didn't feel bad for him when he lost Stori. I loved Remo and Nas but at times I didn't understand the need to make them do too much like the restaurant scene with Kalani and Remo.....too much.....to unbelievable. The hospital scene and Remo again too much.....didn't add any value to story. But other than a few try unbelievable scenes, I enjoyed everything else about the story. Stories and Nas were great together and so was Kalani and Remo. Everyone that deserved love and happiness had it and those who were dirty paid the consequences. A great balance of love, hate, jealousy, good and evil.

Worst Case Scenario

Nas and Remo were hilarious! They really didn't have an ounce of fear and no cares in the world. I loved their bond and it was long overdue for them to settle down. Gavin was trying to fit in and be a follower which led him to losing the best thing he had. Stori was definitely gutter and I applauded her for doing such a good job with Toi. She could've easily folded under pressure but instead did what was necessary to be who her little sister could look up to. I was so over Corey and Milan being in their feelings and plotting. They kept underestimating not only Nas and Remo but Stori as well. The twins grew up when the right women came along. I felt for Stori and Kalani because their men had a few loose screws. They all showed that you always have to prepare for the worst case scenario because life and the people in it are bound to throw a few curveballs.

Why Won't They Let Us Be Great?

Chenell Parker. Such A good read. When I tell you I love these folk, I really do. Stori , is the poster for mature young women. She was thrown into a situation and she handled it with grace, love and without malice in her heart. Having Kalani and Toi was all that she needed.
With Stories put into her situation she had to drop all dead weight Corey never measured up to his potential. Meeting Gavin Stori thought it would be a god example for Toi. Stori best friend Kalani was in love with Remo. Watching Demo and his identical twin Nas grow up in every way did my heart so good.
Man, these twins were a different kind. But Nas, waited until he could claim his heart, Kalani quit playing with Remo, Nas, handled all the loose ends. Stori, was able to continue being the best Wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend she could be.
This read was hilarious in some parts, emotional in others and just good all around.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

I mean every page was filled with so much passion . like she took her time with this standalone period . love the author and her characters in depth descriptions . she is becoming of my favoritesss . Ms.parker made you fall in love with her the way she writes and elaborates . Loved Nas & Stori . Milan was a bitter ass hoe Gavin was a hoe ass nigga with no heart . he was bitter as well , Corey couldn’t let go for shit 🤣😂 . Only storyline we didn’t get more personal life was Remo and Kalani story . loved her Stori sister Toi she was sweet and innocent . would love to know more about Lady other than her leaving her kids . or a spin off with Toi and the kids older . that’ll be awesome REALLY 👏🏽 . enjoyed this book first book review comment ever .
