When Mallory Gennaro, otherwise known as romance novelist Zoe Wilde, whose experience with romance is entirely fictional, arrives in England to assist British Ph.D. Dexter Harrington in his study on "Sex and the Human Species," her research unexpectedly leads her into the arms of Dexter, where she discovers undeniable passion and love. Original.
Before she discovered romantic fiction, Melanie George was the CEO of an executive-search consulting firm. Her most important job, however, has always been that of mother, to both a much-adored son and two precious dogs.
When she is not writing, she is trying to restore her hundred-year-old house and has come to the conclusion that paint speckles will more than likely be a permanent part of her person.
I read this book a few years ago and I really liked it. It’s ridiculous but so fun. I would have liked to have the point of view by Cummings and Freddie.
The description of the book I am listing below is from the back jacket of the book. I'm adding it because I believe the one on the Goodreads page does not depict this story.
"You've reached Mallory Gennaro, aka romance novelist Zoe Wilde. I'm not home right now because, believe it or not, a British Ph.D. named Dexter Harrington offered me an all-expenses-paid trip to England. He thinks "Zoe" can contribute something worthwhile to his paper on "Sex and the Human Species," and who am I to argue with a man who went to Oxford? Okay, I haven't exactly told him that my experience with romance is strictly...well, fictional. The funny thing is, if this were one of my books, we'd fall madly in love..."
Cuando una portada y sinopsis te seducen probablemente la lectura será todo un viaje, básicamente de esto se trata El juego de seducción, es una historia sencilla, pero que te seduce desde la primera línea, al menos este fue mi caso...
