Rogue werewolves attack the White House!Nate, king of all shifters, not only has to deal with the werewolf threat, but he must also deal with the consequences of being outed to the public. No one said being the king of all shifters would be easy. No one said it would be this hard, either.
Meanwhile, Bess finds her mate in the queen's kitchen. Learning he's a dragon is almost too much. Bess doesn't need a man to be happy. Especially not one who keeps his foot in his mouth.
As the only dragon on Earth, Magnus never expects to find a mate. When he sees Bess, he knows she's the bear for him. But she won't have anything to do with him, and everything he does seems to shove her away.
Lynn Nodima learned to love telling stories from her tall-tale telling grandfather, her story-spinning father, and her mother’s round-robin storytelling games. Spinning yarns is in her blood, and she happily continues the family tradition.
The main difference is that Lynn writes her stories down to share with people she will never meet. Lynn writes urban fantasy, paranormal romances/adventures, fantasy, and science fiction.
After working as a computer programmer, a college instructor, and a freelance editor for a traditional publisher, Lynn decided to embrace the writer's life.
Omg! “Wolf’s Guard" is another amazing, fresh new story from the phenomenal Texas Ranch Wolf Pack series! I was blown away from the start and glued to my seat not wanting to stop when I had to! ... I love the relatable characters, some new & some larger-than-life recurring favorites :) but always showing love of family & friends, and their diverse pack with positivity & pulling together in times of trouble that is refreshing. Awesome descriptions, witty dialogue, and scenes with some page-turning suspense & new twists, and yes there’s inferred romance but it is not spelled out to keep it clean :D I highly recommend this book to adult fans of fiction (PG-13 & older YA) and suggest for maximum enjoyment to read each fantastic book in order, tho each plot does stand-alone. Now I can’t wait for more from Ms. Nodima, but I will as usual :)
Poor Nate can't seem to catch a break since becoming King of the were. Rogue vampires are coming for the POUS to make humans think the wolf's are doing it. They have kidnapped young male wolf's and trained them to do what they want them to do. A spell they are under makes them obey. Nate has to do King stuff again. I enjoyed reading this with old friends and new ones. I definitely recommend reading the stories in order so you understand it all. Great storyline and characters!
Fantastic storyline, so much happening. Great characters to enthrall the reader. Join Nate, Janelle, Mangus and all the others on an adventure than will never bore you.
I have really enjoyed this series and am saddened to hear that the last book is almost here. Keeping up with all the twists and side lines only made this series more enjoyable to read.
The last 3 books were great. I had many issues with the first few books but I loved the storyline so kept on with the series. The issues I had were resolved & I have enjoyed the last 3 books. I rarely give 5 stars but the last 3 books of this series deserve 5+
The action and twists and turns in this book kept me reading until I finished it. We have plots to attack both the ranch and the white house, a dragon that hasn't gotten used to our century yet, and a baby wolf growing into her powers. Read these books in order, they're so much better when you know who everyone is. Clean, action packed, and fascinating. Definitely recommend.
Lots of things are happening in this book and there is plenty of action to keep your attention. Back on the ranch after the holidays, life is moving forward to Nate and the pack. Still trying to find and eliminate the rouge vampires, the General and his men always find empty bases, until at one they find some disturbing intel. Magnus, the dragon shifter and King's protector is baffled by this new world he finds himself in after his long sleep. And he sure didn't expect to ever find his mate, but he does in the bear shifter Bess. But he repeatedly puts his foot in his mouth leading to some laughable moments. When rogue werewolves attack the White House in mass and attempt to assassinate the President, Nate and Magnus come to the rescue, but its too late to stop the public's discovery of Were. Having been raised by vampires as their own personal army, these Were are surprised when they find themselves accepted by the pack. But the rogue vampires aren't done yet, and an epic battle ensues when they attempt to kill Nate at the ceremony naming his heir. With the Were's secret out in the open, I'm looking forward to seeing where the story goes in the final book of this fantastic series.
The story of Nick and his "Wolf pack" continues. Vampire trained teenage Wolves attacking the Whitehouse, Possibly outing all the shifters. Nick saving the day and the innocent human bystanders, are just adding to the pack numbers. Magnus the dragon of the pack finds his mate in Bess. Excellent read. Well written, story flows freely. Best read in order to understand the dynamics of the "Wolf Pack"
I love this series! Nate is still the king and the were are all still fighting rogue vampires. Lots of action and tons of romance. Magnus is doing his job of guarding the king and other previous characters are still present. Love how these characters are so well developed that they feel like family. This newest book is another great addition. Love these shifters!
