**I did not read the entire book, only parts of chapters** What I did read, I found to be helpful and informative. I would recommend this as a starting place for anyone looking for a landscaping resource, especially DIYers.
Excellent book for concepts, ideas, detailed information and simply aspirational pictures of the area around one’s home. While I am not a person with DYI skills, this book provided helpful ideas and information on building a deck on our house, resolving a drainage issue, and plants that can set aside our home. The pictures were especially nice, and tips were easy to follow.
The most complete landscaping book I've found to date! Ponds, pools, decks, arbors, drainage, selecting plants, dealing with slopes, creating a design- yes, this book covers that!
It seemed to try and encompass all things you may want to consider for your home landscaping. Lots of suggestions, even some decent plans for many projects.
