This book was an enjoyable read. The one thing I liked about it the most was that it was a realization of an idea I myself once had for a novel I began writingin 1972, but never finished.
The only disappointing thing I found was the editing of the book. Apparently, there might have been time constraints with regard to proofreading and, as a result, the second half of the book was full of typos. Hopefully there will some day be a second edition where all of the mistakes will be fixed. One can hope!
It's all a dream, or is it? Coma trope, MC is transported to fantasy land via car accident. Non-descript fantasy land mid war needs wizard to win. MC trys whole book to make magic staff work with few results and then the book just ends abruptly. No sequel, no true conclusion.
