I felt really unhappy with Daedalus because he pushed his nephew off a cliff.

I felt quite in the middle of happy and sad when Icarus fell because Deadalus pushed his nephew off a cliff and the gods made his own son fall like Deadalus nephew.

I really enjoyed this one. This retelling also includes the story of King Midas and is different from other versions that I've read. Perfect to use for a KS2 myths topic.

A good retelling. Easy to read - accessible for the children and used it for storytelling sessions, children retold it with actions etc. Was good fun!

Easy to read. Children into real life stories but a bit different to the original would love this book.
