This biography is true to its title tag line: just the facts. It is an excellent resource for dates and events in Twain's life. There isn't much personal context but I found it helpful in clarifying for events alluded to in other biographies.

This is the one to use if you are looking to discover or confirm dates and factual events without any emotional slant.

Totally acknowledge that this biography is for kids. Would prove interesting for them as an intro to the author's life, but nothing terribly earth-shattering in here if you already have the basics down of what happened in his life. Full disclosure- since this was already in my personal library, I read this for the quick, easy read and as a way of shamelessly whittling down how many books I have left to read for reaching my year's goal of 40. Let's see if it happens...

Mark Twain
The red-haired boy lived in the Mississippi. The boy thought his hometown to heaven. His name is Sammy; Mark Twain. As you know, a few years later, he became very famous writer in the United States. He remained a lot of books. One of many books is well-known to us by the book, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, in 1885. In that time, a lot of the boys’ nighttime adventures took place in the cemetery. He made the younger boys dig for it while he learn against a tree, smoking a corncob pipe and watching them.
