Meh

I'm still reading so I guess I'm still into the story. I only encountered a little over a dozen editing so we're up to 3/4 assed instead of half assed writing.

Love this series. Books tend to be very big so it’s nice to take a break for another author. Then onto book thirteen.

First and foremost - I am hooked on this series, and the side-stories series, and the back stories books. But, I have to deduct a star only because of typos, misformatting and other gaffes that should have been caught by the beta readers. Yes, we are a somewhat rabid fan base - more more more please of Marc and Angela's adventures and the ever-evolving new world, but not at the cost of readability.

Despite the typos, etc, the book is still worth reading, advances the story line, and leaves you just panting for the next installment.

Amazing!

I’m not even sure where to start with this. Angela is amazing and it was great to see that Marc has finally come around to being the leader he’s meant to be. I hope Kendle gets someone else in her life, the way she follows Marc around like a lost puppy is sickening at times. Adrian.....still haven’t decided what I think about him. Great job Angie, this book was amazing!

This book was really good, and as always, it was quite the emotional rollercoaster. I would find myself crying one minute and laughing the next. I can't say enough good things about the series, it is the one series I recommend to everyone I know. I get so wrapped up in the characters that I love them and hate them at times. This book was a real tearjerker though. I can't wait to find out what is going to happen to the survivors next.

This is one of the best books you can get. Angela White has a wonderful way with words. All her books are long and allow you to really connect with the characters and the way of life. All I can say is that the whole book is great. It starts as post Apocalypse and gradually the plot includes a great deal of magic. Something that is usually missed in this genre. You are guaranteed an exciting and pleasurable read.

each book keeps me fascinated

Every time I get a new book in this series I think Angela White is going to run out of something new. But each time I get caught up and can’t put the book down. Yes the people are the same but never get to be the old same. Instead they evolve and something new comes out and each story adds someone new to the mix. I am thrilled to say each book stands alone but each adds to the history of survivors in a new and ever changing world.

Well, Avoiding Fate was really a good read, however, sad that so many lost their lives due to radiation illness. I have to say even with all that this book was one I really enjoyed because of the lack of so many sexual overboard scenes and the lack of cuss words. I really don't need bedroom scenes and a lot of swearing in the books I read. Another fact, this was book 12 and it's finally been one year since the war ended things as we know them and these so called descendants arrived in our midst. Makes me think I am reading the Book of the Month..................I like your books Angela, they tend to be long and involved, thereby allowing the reader to get invested in the characters. I just wish you would start to let all the "love" be like that of mystery, we know what it involves, however, I as one am not interested in the full description of events. I know people cuss and all the evil that runs rampant in our society today, lets see more like this read with less of the above abounding everywhere. Would love to say more, but do not want to spoil the read for those that have not arrived at book 12 as yet. Looking "For the Future" to arrive. Another Alexa's Travels book would be nice also.........Book 12 says she is in a lab...........we know differently as book 12 is in 2013....................it's now 2019 here. Write faster Angela, Please.

This was another detailed story set after a devastating war where survivors struggle against the elements and each other. Nothing is straightforward and I do like the fantasy concerning the descendants. There is an arrogance regarding 'the sheep', are they really worth saving if so useless?

I was intrigued by the 'gamblers' and that part of the story. I liked how the story switched between characters /groups of characters and how various plots were revealed.

A complex and engaging read as always.

The continuing saga of LAW

I’ve loved the storyline from the beginning but it seems like all the leaders are becoming corrupt and that I don’t like. Especially the storyline with Neil being a bad guy from the beginning. I hope the next book finds the survivors having some good moments.

Engrossing storyline of Angela’s/Adrian’s Eagles and the refugee camp after having left American shores.
They are met with adversity again, this time from the environment, not humanity (or what’s left of it).
Numerous editing errors that detract from the story.
