This is a great book. A nice history of the NTS, showing lots of photographs of artifacts left from the hey-day of nuclear testing, as well as other historical activities (like testing the moon buggy). The unfortunate thing about this is that most people will never see the stuff in the book, even if they go on an NTS tour.

I HIGHLY recommend also visiting the Atomic Testing Museum in Las Vegas if one is interested in this topic. It is definitely worth the price of admission.
