I am malignant.
I knew it the moment I saw her—pure, beautiful, and so sweet to taste.

They hid me away, thinking they could cure me. Locked in the darkness, I was forced to forget her, but I couldn’t. Not even for a moment. When I turned eighteen I was taken from what I’d become accustomed to, and shoved into a life I never thought I’d have.

She was my light. My everything.
But she couldn’t be. It was forbidden in the eyes of the world.
Each time I pushed, she pulled.

The monster goaded us, he taunted us.
I tried to be strong. I tried to refuse what was burning inside me.
But I’m merely a broken man. One that needs her more than he needs his next breath.

I need to make a choice—break the rules and devour her, or run far, far away and break the last remaining part of me, my heart.

I will NEVER ever read or help promote anything by this author again. Not after the way she behaved towards me over a 3 star review I left. Bashing a reviewer and acting like a spoiled princess is NEVER ok.

It might be my slumpy mood I'm in right now, but this novella was lot better than I thought. I'm tempted to up one star on this...

However, trigger warning for you cautious reader.

Although I still don’t know exactly how this family is related to Pater, they definitely have the Greene blood flowing through their veins! I was thrilled at how different this book was compared to all the other novellas in this series. Yes, there is the typical Greene family “love“, and the father is just as sick and twisted as Pater, but the ending is totally, wholeheartedly unexpected!!!

There was a ton of things I absolutely loved about this book, but there were also a couple of plot holes and things that had me confused. For example, there‘s a scene where the father says, “If you move, I’ll make you hurt” followed by him beating the character with a belt, obviously causing pain. I loved the darkness throughout this book, and wished all of the scenes had been explicit as some were fade to black or confusing. For example, I never figured out what the sister threw down into the oubliette in the prologue or how In addition, there were a couple of missed commas, a few words that weren’t capitalized that should’ve been and few typos (for example, LYING instead of LAYING). Regardless, if you crave more Greene Family debauchery, you’ll enjoy this disturbing family!

🛑 NO RATING. *SPOILERS BELOW* This isn’t romance, it’s a fucked up story of generations of incest.

Look, there was a warning. It’s listed taboo. It is. Thank the heavens it was given a warning. PERSONALLY, I see ZERO romance in this book. It’s a story about a fucked up family of incest.

The dad makes the daughter give oral sex as punishment. Fingers her, spanks her. He performs anal sex on his teenage son.

As little children the daughter was taught oral sex on the father and mother! The mom sucks the son off and he fingers her. Later when he’s older the dad makes the son fuck his mom why he jacks off!

W H Y ?!!!

It’s 3 FUCKING GENERATIONS of INCEST!

At the end, the son and daughter “marry” and are having babies so they can pass the love on 🤮

Oh and the dad, yeah he knocked some prostitute up and she had a daughter that’s 8 I guess.... he’s there now. Gonna kill the prostitute like the mother (his sister) from his other family. Why would he kill an adult, SO HE CAN MARRY THE LITTLE GIRL AND HAVE BABIES WITH HER!

This story is a taboo treat without a doubt, when I started Trenton and Ginnie's story I had an idea where the story line was heading but never expected it to go as deep as it did. Sharing in the POV of all three of the main characters made them feel more realistic to me, getting inside each of their heads created a deeper understanding as to why they felt the need and desire to act and respond the way they do. I was shocked with the ending, I literally stopped for a moment and just stared at my kindle with my jaw dropped.

Just finished this second, standalone, novella in the Inferno World series and Dani Rene has sent me into shock, I love pitch black taboo storylines and she more than delivered.

I am currently lost for words to go into more detail, other than to say you will not be let down, the writing is flawless, the storyline keeps hitting you with blow after blow.

Be warned: This is an epic twisted, sick taboo story but fits into the Inferno World perfectly.

There are no words. I thought there would be a deeper plot. My bad. The fact this doesn’t come up on a search through the app should have told me everything I needed to know.

3 stars...cuz, while this was not my jam...it held me enthralled wondering where the fuck the plot was going. Sadly, I think it needed either 40-50k more words or to never be written. Take your pick.

Well well... if you pick up this book you probably already know what to expect. I don’t think any of these are as fucked up as the first four Inferno books. I mean, in this story Padre/Papa was abusive at times but I don’t think anything compares to Pater. 😆 So for that reason I guess there was a sweetness to it with how Trent and Ginnie felt toward each other that I kind of liked. But I could feel at the end that Trent was about to become more like his father... yikes.

This whole Inferno world is just cray cray. That’s all I gotta say. I still have more books to get through so we’ll see what kinda insane stuff happens in those.

Overall I’d give this a 3.75⭐️ because I really enjoyed the writing, multiple POVs and I felt pretty into the story that I couldn’t stop reading.

Wow just wow. In all honestly I’m not gonna be able to give this the review it deserves.

This author delved into the darkness with Trenton and Ginnies story and she did it so well.

Reading this is like watching tv behind a cushion. Your afraid of what’s gonna come next but you can’t pull your eyes away.

Malignus is not a story for everyone so heed the warnings. I absolutely loved it and can’t wait to read more of the Inferno world.

First, I started reading it as a standalone. I didn't know Ms. Yolanda's Inferno World series.
Second, READ IT WITH AN WIDELY OPEN MIND AND BE WARNED. IM BEGGING YOU BE WARNED IT'S HIGHLY TABOO READ THAT NEEDS TO BE READ WITH CAUTION.
that being said - time for review.
Ms. Rene blew my mind with Malignus! Yes - certainly I don't know what I just read. Only that I devoured this twisted dark and disruptive read as I mostly do with this author works.
Read it on your own. And enjoy feeding your twisted dark side! And the relationship was so sweet between MCs that I enjoyed it even more!

✨ DREAMY’S REVIEW ✨

Malignus is one of those books that will push you past your boundaries, will make you feel uncomfortable at some points, will have you question a lot of things, and yet, within all of that, there is a beautiful story being told.

I’m a no limit reader and so when I heard this is an extremely taboo, forbidden, and darker romance, I was all over it!

And it’s written by Dani Rene? I AM THERE, ALL THE WAY!

Malignus is extremely taboo, forbidden, and filthy.
It’s raw, real, and gritty.
It’s one of those stories where you think about love, how to give it and how to receive it.

Padre, Trenton, and Ginnie.

“We already have the perfect family.”

Dani René truly captures the essence of a pure and raw love story between Trenton and Ginnie.

Their story, their love is utter perfection.

It start of ominous and eerie, almost like you know what’s going on, but then you don’t. You sit there and questioning the actions of some of the characters, and you continue to wonder... what will happen next?

“It’s cold. It’s silent. But I’m stronger, more alert than ever before. He told me it’s the best for me down here.”

Trenton has spent a good amount of years thinking he is sick, a monster.

“I’m sick. I’m broken.”

He shouldn’t be taking part or pleasure in the things that he’s forced to do, but he does.
He shouldn’t want Ginnie, but he does.

“She does things to me that I know are wrong.”

Ginnie is so obedient and in love with Trenton, and with that, she will do anything to be in good praises of Padre AND Trenton.

I couldn’t HELP but root for these two, even with how wrong and taboo everything felt. It only felt natural for them to be together, under their circumstances.

Even Padre thought so, actually, he insisted on so! No matter how cruel his ‘punishments’ were, it was for them.

“Love lives in our home. And it will always be here as long as I have anything to do with it.”

You must dive into this taboo novella to see the whole picture, to get it. There are triggers and if you are a reader with that, heed this warning.

I love how it wrapped up in the end so nicely. It’s why I love Rene’s work and I’m a huge fan!

But if you’re willing to take the chance on something beautiful and unique and a love so pure and raw, pick up Malignus now!

Rene writes in a such way that speaks deep into your soul, no matter what subject matter she touches! She does it with such beauty and eloquence, you can never pass up a book she’s taken part of writing!

mind buggling read! still trying to wrap my head around theme/what I just read.
I wont do review justice because of the relationship twist, but if I took that out of the equation then this book was dark but hot??writing was amazing, got lost in this world but.......I will give some books as a warning on theme here. Took be a few days to come out of that world, my brain was in a different place to be honest and that's such a mind fuck.
***My rating is based on the amazing writing/imagination of the author***

If you read these books and was ok with reading then proceed with reading this one:
Hale - K Webster
The Wild
Flowers in the attic/petals in the wind - cant recall which book the situation at hand existed its been many yrs since I read those
Forbidden by Tabatha... cant recall full name its been yrs since I read.

The father in this book was dark, twisted monster who was also twisted up by his own father. I was drawn to the h/H in this book and even though twisted I was routing for them, hoping relationship not what I thought but still routing for them, almost want to read a follow up book to find out if they changed and didn't continue this messed up theme with own kids.....I will be reading the other books in series though different authors.

I know to most likely expect the worst kind of triggers from an Inferno World book but still I find myself being pushed to the limit and beyond. If you have never read any of the other books in the series this has triggers galore.

I wonder where this family fits in the Greene family tree. I was hoping they would give an indication who Padre's dad was. Is his father Pater or Pater's son? Someone further down the family tree? How do they have money to live? Do these sadistic dads ever work? Always guessing right in the stock market? Do the children ever get birth certificates and social security numbers?

I was rooting for Trenton and Ginnie. Of course HEA is a warped concept in the Inferno world. There are no good guys. There's bad guys and victims. If victims survive long enough, they become the bad guys and are rewarded with new victims.

After reading all Yolanda series i thought no other book can be more horror than hers..
but i was wrong, the things happened in this one are....insane, i couldn't believe in the sickness going on in this one...it's.... mind f*ck.

I don't even know how i enjoy reading this books, but the curiosity of how darker can be, make me keep up.

The thing i really like about this one was their true love , even if they were raised in this sickness at least they truly love each others, and i'm happy for them, also i'm glad it was only Trent all the way with her.

The things happened here were disgusting , but my mind is detached , for me it's like seeing another realm...

Whoa😱

This book I have to say was absolutely amazing and so taboo and damn what a helluva ride Dani takes you on.
It is one shocking, depraved, twisted and dark kind of a read that'll grip you from start to finish and leave you wondering what did I just read while also showing you a deep love between the 2 character's Trenton and Ginnie.
This book is not for the easily offended and if you have triggers do not read it, but if taboo is your forte' definitely one click it.

This is just my opinion and my review.

My mouth is hung open just wow. Now if your not into extreme taboo books at all don’t even bother reading this book. It’s a book that made me angry at times but I couldn’t stop reading it.
I’m sitting here in complete shock but damn it was so messed up but I loved every page. Come to Trenton and Ginnie’s world with a opened mind. Cause Papa will show you how truly it is to be a family.

You have been warned Trenton and Ginnie's story is as dark and taboo as you can get. If that's not your thing then don't read this book. Reading this is like being on an unstoppable rollercoaster you want to lose your eyes but you also don't want to miss anything. A dark twisted addictive read.

Told in multiple POV, 1st person, it happens in the "Inferno World" and can be read as a standalone. Malignus is a short read, EXTREMELY taboo, and DARK, a twisted and crazy read.so if you’re gonna read it, proceed with caution. Read it with an open mind and remember it’s only fiction and nothing more! This book shocked me, I know my boundaries, or I thought that I know! This book put me out of my comfort zone and I didn’t know that I would hate it or like it at the time but in the end, I enjoyed it. Overall, I had a good time reading it and hope you like it as well, and yet again remember it’s extremely…

Another great story in the Inferno World series.

The Inferno World books is a series of stories that are dark, depraved and come with some well deserved trigger warnings. Such depravity should not be read by the faint of heart, because trust me when I say theses books will push the limits of what some people consider right and wrong, then they'll blow right past those limits and keep on going. These books are wonderful reads and I am making sure to enjoy the entire series!!!

Do not take lightly...

This book was depravedly dark and very taboo and yet I couldn’t put it down. It touched on a bit of every taboo there is. If you like dark reads, look no further. Besides the first Inferno books by Yolanda, this is as dark as they come.

This book is so taboo and good. I'm in a state of WoW with this story. I loved it. A son is always just like his father and got and Trenton learned his behavior from him. A fantastic taboo dark story
