This is a complete why choose romance series for 18+ readers. ORDER OF #1 Steps #2 Strokes #3 Strings #4 Symphony
Each of the first three books in a series covered one male character, and this one tied everything together; their pasts, their demons, their healing, and their future. All mysteries resolved, all loose ends tied up. It had a bit of a fairytale ending, but all in all, it was a nice wrap-up to the series.
I am not sure I can honestly put into words how amazingly satisfying this finale was. I think Bea Paige blew it out of the water and created such an emotional rollercoaster, that the readers will fall in love with these characters even more and root for them on their journey to find a happily ever after. I am extremely sad to see the Finding Their Muse series come to an end, but its hard to be super sad when an author finishes a beloved series in this way.
Symphony starts out with the readers seeing how Rose, Anton, Ivan, and Erik deal with the aftermath of Ms. Hadley shooting Rose and trying to ruin their relationship. It wasn't an easy battle to overcome, and there are multiple things working against them, but the four band together and fight for what they want....each other. Bea Paige weaves in even more twists and turns into this story, which I thought wasn't really possible haha.
We get to see the evilness of certain characters, the darkness that was tamed start to creep back in for some, and the power of love that can overcome even the toughest of circumstances. I wont give anything away because all readers deserve to be surprised and not have anything spoiled for them, but I did have to take a break once or twice to not throw my reading device against the wall because of some of the vile things people have done to characters that I care deeply about. Yes, I know they are fictional, but Bea has made me care for them over the last 8 months and I don't want to let them go or see them hurt 😂.
One thing I will say is I wasn't expecting all the cute and aww moments. I mean, based on books 1-3 there was a lot of gut-wrenching moments that left me a tad wrung out. In this case, we still have those moments, but we finally get to see the characters come out of their inner turmoil and live for once. We get to see the happy moments bloom and their relationship take that next step. I couldn't stop smiling after reading some scenes. So beautiful and amazing!
I also really enjoyed the easter eggs that Bea left in this story. She ties in 3 different series (1 previously completed and 2 to be released later this year). Since Bea started writing RH in 2017, I have seen an immense growth in her work and this is just a testament to that. She is making these amazing worlds and weaving them together seamlessly. I honestly cannot wait to see where these new series go.
This series has to be by far the best work of Bea Paige! One of my top 10 favorite RH series of all times. There was something for everyone in this story that they could relate to. A lot of it wasn't pretty, but that's life, right? Bea does a phenomenal job showing us how resilient people can be, despite all the darkness that tries to consume them on a daily basis. You have to work to get what you want, and you must rely on those you love and love you back to get through the darkness stronger than before. Like I said, this whole ending is bittersweet for me, but I know this series will be on my reread list for years and years, and I will be devouring these books when they come on audio (I AM SUPER EXCITED TO HERE ROSE AND THE GUYS!! 😍❤️). Thank you Bea for the amazing emotional ride you put us through, I loved ALMOST every second haha. My heart blames you for some palpitations 😂😉
100000% recommend this series. Just be sure you can handle the feels if you are reading in public (I made that mistake once while reading at lunch!). Bea Paige needs to write in this dark, gritty, angsty lane, she is the queen of dark and master at making the readers emotional wrecks that keep coming back for more!
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
I have been attached to this series since the very first book and I can admit that I almost did not want to read this just so I could draw it out. In the end that was impossible though as I just had to see how this would all play at and wrap up for us. It was so much more then I ever could have expected!!! Paige has done one heck of job at writing when it comes to this emotionally charged series. Getting the answers to all of our questions just made it that much sweeter even if I did wish it was going to continue. Superbly written with a finale you can love. Total must read!!! I loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
This was an exciting series involving four broken people who come together and change the course of what would have been a devastating and self destructive existence if not for each other. This series got progressively better with each passing book, completing the journey and transformations of each of them individually, as well as together. This series had trauma, loss, discovery, growth, and love. Add in a few backstory reveals that leave you stunned, all coming together in a satisfying and well rounded package. This was a good read, a little dark, fairly mild in that and in the dom/sub scenes, but the characters were unique and I enjoyed their story. Upon completion I discovered that another series follows this which revolves around characters introduced in this book, so if you're not ready to be done with those characters, there is plenty more to delve into.
This is the final book of the series And while the 3 first are absolutely to add to your TBR, this last one is optional to me. It unravels some plots, you didn’t know existed. But it was a bit too long and a bit repetitive. It also introduces you to the next series of Bea Paige though.
So you can read it and also you can pass on this one, since the third has an ending for me.
And what a finale! The whole series has been gripping, but this last book really tops the lot. Lots of twists and turns, the love the main characters have for each other really shines through. And as a bonus, more characters are introduced who will have a series of their own (can't wait!).
A word of warning, Symphony may leave you with a book hangover!
While Finding Their Muse had an intriguing premise, the execution left me disappointed. The series attempts to blend dark romance with artistic obsession, but instead, it often feels repetitive, overly dramatic, and lacking the emotional depth needed to make the story truly compelling.
“I’m the girl who once upon a time submitted to a beast. I’m the girl who danced to forget, who danced to survive, and I’m the woman who is stronger than the demons of her past and the ones that live in her heart.”
The protagonist, while meant to be a complex and broken heroine, comes across as frustratingly passive at times, making it hard to connect with her struggles. The love interests, though intense, often blur the line between darkly alluring and outright unlikable, with little real development beyond their initial possessiveness. The romance itself leans too heavily into toxic dynamics without enough depth to justify the emotional pull. Additionally, the pacing drags in places, with long stretches of internal monologue and circular conflicts that don’t seem to push the story forward. While the artistic themes could have added a unique touch, they often feel underdeveloped, serving more as a backdrop than a true driving force of the narrative. Overall, Finding Their Muse had potential but fell flat for me. This series did not deliver for me.
I was not emotionally prepared for this book. Steps was my first foray into the dark side of this genre, and it absolutely blew my mind. With each book, I became more and more emotionally attached to the characters in this series. I was so mad at the end of Strings because of what had been done and how Mrs. Hadley had essentially gotten away with shooting Rose. It took me a while to process that one, but this book more than made up for that. It healed a heart that I didn't know was broken for these characters. Rose, Ivan, Anton, and Erik have carved themselves into my heart and it is difficult to let them go. This book contains some of the most beautiful, real, and emotional scenes that I have ever read. It brings closure to the ends that need closing. It gives us a new twist that we didn't see coming. It gives us a sense of satisfaction when those that deserve justice finally get it. It also introduces us to new characters whose stories have not yet been told. I have enjoyed this journey with Rose and her men, and though I am sad to see them go, I have a feeling that they will pop up somewhere again. Very well done conclusion to an amazing series.
So much perfection in this book and series! This book touches on every loose end and gives us everything we need. These characters have my heart and I’m so glad for how their story ends. I also like the touches of the other series by this author. I’ll miss these lovely people.
A glorious finish to a dark, thrilling, passionate series
I am bereft. This series has completely captured my imagination and my heart and now it is over and I am all alone, but smiling widely. This book is everything I wanted and hoped for. Bea has pulled out all the stops and given Rose, Ivan, Anton and Erik the symphony that they deserve. I could not be happier with their story. The ending of Strings was heartbreaking and this book takes up the story from that shocking event. Rose and her men all have to pick themselves up but they are hurting and each struggling alone to find their equilibrium. The men are all feeling guilty, each blaming himself for not seeing the danger looming over Rose throughout Steps, Strokes and Strings, and their behaviour is causing Rose further distress, while she is trying to heal both physically and mentally. There is a lot of healing to be done in this book but, this being a Bea Paige book, further revelations will not make that healing easy. Although there are shocks, nothing is contrived for dramatic effect but is all bound up in everything that has gone before, flows naturally, and is all part of the story arc. Ivan, Anton and Erik are all such different characters, having so many demons in their past, so flawed but so perfect, each needing Rose for their salvation. Rose is perhaps the strongest of them all, but her past haunts her too, though in these three beautiful men, she is finally beginning to believe that she can be happy. All four of them have grown so much in this series and I loved them more and more with each book. I was filled with apprehension, turning each page hoping for the best, dreading the worst, not quite able to breathe until I reached the end. So many shocks, so much heartbreak, so much passion, these characters took over my life yet again. When I had to put the book down, even for a second, I felt such a compulsion that I could not do anything else but hurry back to see what fresh undeserved tragedies had been heaped on these four broken, complex, wonderful characters. Bea put the four of them through the wringer and I felt every single emotion along with them. Bea has an undoubted talent to get inside her characters and make them so real, I feel as though I have actually met them. They are friends and I will miss them so much, but I am not sure that I could have taken much more because I think I ran the gamut of every emotion and I was completely drained by the last page. Bea has cleverly introduced us to characters in her next series, Academy of Misfits, and I am looking forward very much to reading about them. I also want to hear Fran's story because I know it is going to be one hell of a ride too. There was also mention of another family that we already know and I hope that they feature in the new series because I miss them, just as much as I will miss the Sachovs. Bea has proven yet again that she is a master storyteller and I cannot recommend her works highly enough. Every single one of her books is worth shelf space because you will find yourself gravitating towards them time and again. In my mind, the name 'Bea Paige' is synonymous with 'reread', because that is exactly what I have done, and as there are so many books out there, I find no need to reread but I can't help myself when it comes to Bea's books. They just will not let me go. They are the sort of books that creep into your heart and nothing will dislodge them. And the paperbacks look beautiful on the shelf.
Ivan the beautiful dancer. Consumed with guilt over the suicide of his wife. She is his Domina. Anton the brilliant artist tortured by his inability to see color. She is his muse. Erik the master violinist tormented by the abuse he endured. She is his savior. Rose. She came into their lives; opened their hearts, showed them color, accepted their demons. Her strength saved them all. They need her. They love her. In return, they freed her from her own darkness, unlocked her heart, and gave her a life worth living. All four are beautifully flawed. Together they are simply beautiful. But there are still demons to be fought. This time the demons are not within their souls but are living and breathing. Humans who were supposed to be safe; who were meant to love and protect them. Twisted, evil humans. But these humans do not have the power to destroy what these four have created together. "They will weather the storm together. Until the Storm breaks".
I am afraid to write this review. More than any other series I have read and reviewed I feel that I cannot find the proper words. I will be haunted by its dark beauty. This series is a rarity. It's dark, twisted but unlike any other. The characters captured me and wouldn't let go. Their stories, individual and together moved me deeply. I think this series was masterfully created, written, and executed. Bea Paige deserves accolades for every single touch. The titles Steps, Strokes, Strings, and Symphony have an undeniable simplicity and elegance that only hint at the depth. The setting at Browlace Manor is ideal. It also undergoes a transformation beginning as a cold, stark manor with halls as haunted as the greatest Gothic manors of literature but by the end is a home filled with warmth and light. The characters begin as fragments, each embodied by pain. The pain was palpable throughout each book. It leaped off the pages. Pain suffered, pain inflicted by others and by oneself. It could have been prevented makes it even worse. The healing journey was agony in each book sometimes making it difficult to turn the page. I alternated between dread and anticipation. For each step away from the demons, I felt a sense of victory like the battle was my own. Never have I wanted characters saved and redeemed like these. But equally important, I wanted it to be true to their story. I didn't want the characters cheapened in any way. There could be no cheating, no quick fixes. This is not a story of butterflies and rainbows. It is a story of sunshine breaking through the deepest gloom. Pure. Perfection.
I knew it. I knew she had a hand in it the old hag lol. And you could sense the evil of the father. And just a thought i thought she was 29 and ivan and them were like 30/31. Why would she say a young 20 something girl could be their daughter i dont think so. Im pretty sure it said Ivan was mayne 2 years older then her. Anyways not important..I'm so glad that they got the healing they needed. Although I don't find Rose and Ivan an accurate Domina and sub they were what they needed for each item. As a Dom you can not break the rules and she did. But they got past it because Ivan loved her so much. Rose has taught them so much and brought them out of the darkness as they did her and taught her what love was. I was heart broken and Sad for Erik's story and had the most to regain but he did and so did Anton. Anton may always SEE the darkness what with his brothers and Rose by his side he can LIVE in the light. Erik can live outside the glass box. No longer needing it to protect the ones around him from himself. He gets to live FREE they all do. And Rise finally broke the walls down and learned to love. I really enjoyed that there was a cross over the Misfits and even the mention of the Freed Brothers I've read both those series and also The acadamy of dance, the Dancer and the Masks duet and the grim and beast duet. Loved them all and loved this one too. I've bought on paperback haven't had a chance for the others and so you know I love them. I only buy them if I love them so much and I will these as well if available. This author is one of my favs so please enjoy.
I have loved this series from the beginning. Every single one of the guys has captured my heart. Getting to see what makes them tick, their love for Rose. Their journey is one that is messy and rough, but a beautiful Symphony none the less.
Ever since Rose stepped into Browlace Manor, and was introduced to Ivan, Anton and Erik. We have been thrust into their dark world of a stunning dancer, who with guilt over the death of his wife would punish others. Until his Domina taught him the true meaning of love and trust. Anton, an amazing artist, unable to see color. He has found his muse, who makes him see the world in color. And then we have Erik, a violinist, affected by the abuse he endured. He will find his savior in a beautiful package that ground him. Finding Their Muse is their story. It is dark at times, heartbreaking, sad, but also hopeful, freeing and loving. All of theses emotions you will feel as you go through this series. I would reccomend reading this story from the beginning, as their tale is a long and hard one, each character gets their own book to tell their tale.
Symphony is the last of their story. Here we deal with aftermath of Rose being shot. Now they need to band together and they fight for their love. This was a hell of a story and a great ending. I hope you enjoyed their journey as much as i did.
"Our kind of fairy-tale doesn’t exist. This is real life, it’s messy, it’s brutal, it hurts."
"To truly live you must feel everything; pain, regret, fear, rage, sadness, joy, love."
How true are these two lines from this wonderfully dark, emotional, brutal series full of pain, love and healing. I've loved it from start to finish. It's really not for the faint hearted, there are a host of potential triggers including PTSD, suicide and abuse, but I felt the author treated it all with respect and care. I absolutely recommend it if you can look past the brokenness of Rose, Ivan, Anton and Erik and see their strength and beautiful souls underneath the armour and defences. It's a hard fought journey for all of them and I had no idea to start with how they would all fit together with such differing needs. It just worked and the final book Symphony tied it all together perfectly. Loved it!
No spoilers of any kind included. I absolutely loved this book! I was sucked in before I had even finished the first chapter and I could not climb out until I got to the end of the book, where I was left wanting and needing more but unfortunately this was the last book in this series and that makes me a little sad because I don’t want this to be the ending of Finding Their Muse. Bea Paige just has a way of hooking her readers with her story weaving skills that you just don’t want any of her books to end! Anyway it’s going to be a big HECK YEAH I most definitely do recommend this book because I really enjoyed reading it and I think you will too, but if you haven’t read any of the books before this one then I highly suggest that you do because otherwise you will miss a lot of things and be very confused with what’s happening.
Bea Paige always has been absolutely captivated with her books but in the forth book in this series she has upped the level of emotion you can feel for a book full of fictional characters. By the time you have read the other three books you are completed invested in Rose and her guys, and in this book they just start to become more alive and more real as you read the story. There are so many twists and turns throughout the book and the emotion and love the characters feel just come through the pages. Bea wrote a stunning conclusion to a captivating and heart wrenching series. I am always a little conflicted at the end of a series - on one hand so sad to see it end but on the other hand so happy to see how it all concludes. This is truly highly recommended series that you must read in order so that you can fully understand what is happening. A series that can be re-read over and over!!
This is a wonderful ending to an amazing story of four broken people finding their place in the world. In the author notes for each book, Bea mentions finding her inspiration watching Sergei Polunin dance to Hozier’s “Take me to church”. Well I finally watched it and everything between Ivan, Anton, Erik and Rose fell into place.
Whilst this series is dark and twisted, and deals with serious issues - rape, PTSD, child abuse, drug addiction amongst others - it’s really about human strength and love overcoming everything in the end. It’s an ode to honour, loyalty and family.
There’s also a brief mention of Alicia and her boys from Bea’s “Academy of Misfits” - another must read from an extremely talented author. This is as solid a 5 star read as you’ll get. Strongly recommend this whole serious if you like your read with grit.
I have made it to the end of this series & let me tell you, it was a ride. This book is full of so many twists & Bea Paige has done another amazing job of weaving this story together.
I have not been able to put this series down, at all. I need to know exactly how this all ends. I also love how this series is set up, each of the first 3 books focuses on Rose's relationship with one of the 3 men of Browlace Manor. Each man has a very different need from Rose & by focusing a book on each of them it really helps to focus on each relationship she has with each of them. In this final book of the series, we get to see these 4 as a complete group instead of focusing on each individual pair. I loved the growth of these characters so much.
This series was definitely a ride & I am so glad that I hopped on!
Wow 😮 what a great 👍🏻 ending to an awesome 👏🏼 series 😍 , it blow my mind completely 😊 I sat for a good 10 minutes thinking 🤔 omg 😲 it was everything I knew it would be and more ... Rose 🌹, Erik ,Ivan , and Anton got the symphony they deserved , after all their struggles , hardships and evilness 😊 And boy was I pleased certain people got what they deserved.....? If you want to read a great 👍🏻 book 📖 series then go for it you want be disappointed , you will be trapped in your own movie 🎥 whilst the words move threw your head , I loved 💗 it so much 😊 can’t wait for the next books of Beas to come out and I love how characters from her new series are cleverly mentioned ... even the freed brothers get a mention 😍 high 5 ✋🏻 and 5 ⭐️
Symphony is the last in the Finding Their Muse series and it’s such a great ending for a great series.
I’ve caught so much feels reading this series. This one was really about healing not just physically but emotionally as well. The characters development is fantastic, with each book they grow into their own so much more. Now that the series is completed I can read them back to back and enjoy them so much more.
Ms Hadley and Viktor are a pair, I’m so glad how it turned out and they deserved everything they got.
The storyline is great, I like how the author has tied things up and also a cameo of the character in her next series is pretty cool too!
Usually I do not have a hard time writing a review. This series was dark, emotional, full of suspense and heartache. The finale is no different. Not only have our characters been fighting their inner demons thru all of this. But now they fight and deal with the people that are supposed to love for them and care for them. More plot twists I didn’t expect. The betrayal and guilt that is felt will have you feel it as well. It truly has been an emotional rollercoaster for Rose and her men. I’ve never wanted to see someone get their happily ever after more than these characters. One of the most well written series I have ever had the pleasure of reading. I feel as though my words aren’t expressing the amount of emotion this series has made me feel.
I had a book list lined up, one included the second book of this series. When I finished the second book I just couldn't stop reading. My reading list pushed to the side, I continued this series in two days. It is so deep and dark and perfectly developed. But this last book has me writing a review! What an excellent end to a wonderful read. Everything is revealed and fulfilled. I like how the characters stay true to themselves and are not altered completely yo fit into what is conceived as norm. I also found out I share a birthday with Erik, which is pretty cool.
the finale of the wonderful series at it's finest. is it cruel to say I want a novella at least of their future. like do they start a family together? to see those men and their protective nature will little kiddos running around would be a pure joy to read.
secrets are unfolded and the past is laid to rest, all four characters finally mend as one, but that's not to say without heartbreak and pure courage that all have to attest too within Symphony. This is a must read series by far and one that I won't forget!
This series is one I’ve seen recommended many many times. I put it off because I never had the desire to read some contemporary dark story about ballet, which is all I thought the story was. I was so very wrong. Not only did this series take my breath away with it’s troubled but beautiful cast and story but it ripped me open in a way no other series has before. I completed the whole series in two days because I just couldn’t stop. I don’t even have the right words to accurately describe how the story made me feel so I’ll just say thank you. Thank you so very much.
This final story from Brownlace Manor was filled with so much intense hope and closure that it was a pleasure to indulge in. As all 3 men and Rose connect and grow as a family, tearing away insecurities and fears to strengthen as a unit and individuals, the outside world threatens to take it all away. While unraveling the mysteries of the past and fighting like heck for a happy future, Symphany was an exceptionally written, deeply touching love story. This series will be kept in my reread pile.
All i can say is is wow! What a great way to end what is an amazing quartet of books. Ive loved every book in this series. Yes they are dark & not to everyone's taste. I was in two minds about reading them when id read some of the comments about them but im so glad i did. The characters are flawed but in that theres a beauty in their flaws. It makes some parts in earlier books hard reading but it gives the reader a satisfaction when you get an ending like this one. The perfect ending. A absolutely joy to read
Read this book if you want to see the villains of the story get their rewards
With each of the previous books, our main characters had tremendous growth. This book was watching them struggle to maintain the ground the gained and continue down the right path together in the family in the face of adversity. The rest of the secrets are revealed and the two villains of the story get fitting rewards. It was a good read, but I would say it is not as intense or moving as some of the other novels and clearly sets up two future series.
***this book was provided to me on exchange for review.*** I think this book was nice because it wrapped up the series in a neat little bow. I appreciate that the author didn’t try to imply or convey that the characters had lost the darkness in them necessarily. Rather they overcame the oppression of their pasts. If I had to make a note, it would be that the writing itself read a little less naturally and realistically compared to its predecessors. That said, I definitely enjoyed this book, and this entire series. I’ll very likely revisit it in the future.
