Thanks to Sammi for recommending this book to me it was quick pace and a good book!! Plus CURVY GAL AS THE COVER!

I love both Mcs even if Cassie did tiny bit annoy me she didn't stand up to her parents sooner instead of letting them gamble more and drink more.. i love that she did talk back, she was smart, sassy. Guess her only flaw was being a pushover by her parents.. Liam's flaw i didn't think he had a flaw really he was a great book boyfriend bossy, protectiveness, caring i love him!! He only provoked a problem between the two when he did a background check on her parents.. (low blow on trust) beside that they had some great chemistry and steamy sex ;)

Why i rated this a 4.5 no epilogue.. if it had that it would be a solid 5 star book for me!!

No ow/om drama, No cheating, dramaish, sexy times, not a manwhore & Virgin gal..

A nice little smut read to pass the boring time of my day. Office romance with the boss, so taboo, but they can not help themselves.

Our heroine is in her first job, trying to get out of a debt foisted on her by her irresponsible parents. When she corrects her boss, she gets his attention and things take off from there.

This a short enjoyable workplace romance story which includes the obligatory virgin and billionaire. And while that may be a bit of an overused trope, the author manages to make the story fresh and enjoyable nonetheless. The story is well written with minimal angst and good chemistry between the characters. My favorite part of the story is when our heroine stands up for herself. I love to see character growth and that is very rare in a short story.

Highly recommended.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of a young woman named Cassie who starts work at a new company and stands up for herself, even with her boss. Cassie is a curvy girl who is used to people staring at her and she is tired of it, she just wants to be noticed for her abilities. When she sees a man at the office and he tries to tell her she is wrong about something she knows is right, she fights him, and manages to impress him. Liam is the boss and he is intrigued by Cassie. Liam asks her to work directly for him and soon they have trouble fighting their attraction to one another, but Cassie is a virgin and she wants to submit to LIam, but she is scared it means nothing to him. I liked this story. I liked how Cassie fought for herself and stood up when she knew she was right. I think Liam really cared about her and thought she understood that, he thought he didn't need to tell her. Good one.

Cassie hasn't had the best up bringing. Her parent are drunks and gambled away every penny they could get there hands on. But now they have gambled and lost Cassie's college savings so she has had to leave and get a job to pay off their debts before the loan sharks come and hurt her parents. Cassie is a good girl hard working and a virgin. She was too busy studying to take notice of boys.
She goes to work at a company and meets Liam. Who she believes is a co work and tells him some home truths only to find out he is the owner and he wants her to come and work for him as he needs someone who will tell him as it is.
The chemistry between these two is off the charts. so hot so raw I loved it.
I cant wait to read more from Darcy Dawes.

Cassie is a strong confident woman and is working at a new company. When a co-worker bumps her and files fall and she has to re-organize them before filing them she doesn't have a problem. She does have a problem when someone tells her she's doing her job wrong when she knows that she isn't. Liam is impressed by Cassie and wants her working for him so makes it happen. Sparks fly between them and its not long before he is making his move on Cassie however she isn't making it easy on him. Will Liam Claim Cassie for his own or will she leave him?

This is a great story. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very well written and entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

The story is well written, but after a thunderous start, I was disappointed not to find the point of effrontery of the heroine Cassie. Her first confrontation with Liam is quite direct and she is insolent without knowing that he is her boss, but afterwards, from the moment she is attracted to him, she she seems to lose this insolence and their relationship evolves more towards a sexual initiation dominated by him, only in her willingness to fight for what she wants.
In addition, I was annoyed by her denial toward her parents's behaviour.

This is a quick get to point steamy read. The writing is good & considering how short it is the characters are fairly well fleshed out& developed: Cassie (h), an young BBW woman who is forced to leave college after her 1st year in order to dig her irresponsible selfish parents out of debt. And Liam (H), the owner of the company by which she is employed.
And then Liam offers Cassie a much better position working directly with him, in more ways then one . . . .
The writing was good, there were light splashes of humor amid some intense steamy encounters, very low level angst & no OM/OW drama. This is a good short spicy read for when you don't have the time or interest for a full length book.

This was a great read and I highly recommend it! Cassie is working to pay off her parents gambling debts. When a new guy comes in and tells her she's doing her job wrong, she tells him off and then finds out it's the owner of the company. Liam decides he wants this sassy little spitfire to work directly under him and he gets Cassie to agree. Of course Liam wants her to work under him in more ways than one. Grab this book today and enjoy the ride.

A well written and enjoyable fast pace older man / younger woman romance! It is well developed, emotionally deep, witty, and intriguing. Loveable characters; their chemistry is intense, instant, and off the charts; the sex scenes are well described, steamy and HOT! It is a very exciting read and comes highly recommended.

This was a good short story. It was hot and full of passion. Cassie had to quit college and get a job to pay off her parents gambling debt. She got a job at Rush Recruitment as an assistant floor manager. That was until the CEO of Rush Recruitment, Liam Rush, offers Cassie a job she can't refuse...to be his personal assistant. But who would of known it would quickly become much, much, more.

Loved the book the story was well written and the characters were interesting. Cassie droped out of college because of her parents, she ends up finding work. Liam is the owner of a company, he really likes Cassie to work for him.

Short story of damsel in distress met knight in shining suit. Office setting with short hot steamy romance. The smuttiness was definitely there, but the "chasing" was lacking. I was expecting a bit more wine dine and flirting part, but I'll take what I can get. A good short read, though i could be better with more depth on the story.

The idea and the way this story is told is good. I like Liam and Cassie. It wasn't a submissive type of book. More of him giving orders and her kinda listening. I gave it this star rating because the errors in this book completely through me off. I actually stopped reading for a day. Almost didn't finish it. This is the second book I have read by this author.

This is the first book that I have read by the author it was a fun quick hot read o did enjoy it and liked the characters a lot but I think the book needs a bit of fine tuning and an epilogue to complete the full affect of this hot romance.
