I write paranormal cosy mysteries with heroines who are quirky, kind, and love to right wrongs and get justice. Superstar

Well Lily goes out on her own for this case. I like that the new girl is here to stay. I don't like Lily and Will not being together. The case was good. Lily helped an actor find justice.

Ich glaube Dir, auch wenn es sonst keiner tut...

Lily erhält den Auftrag die Feier zum 80. Geburtstag einer netten älteren Dame zu fotografieren. Dort lernt sie den berühmten Schauspieler Jeremy Frazer kennen, den Enkel des Geburtstagkindes. Die Feier beginnt auch ganz harmlos und Lily macht tolle Aufnahmen, während sie die Gäste, besonders Jeremy, näher kennenlernt, doch dann geht abrupt alles schief und Lily fotografiert eine Frau, die schon seit einigen Jahren tot ist und augenscheinlich von Jeremy ermordet wurde. Doch der beteuert seine Unschuld und keiner außer Lily glaubt ihm.

Während Lily alles riskiert, um Jeremys Unschuld zu beweisen, gehen die Ermittlungen der PUB gegen Dana Lam und die Regula Pythonissam weiter. Und auch da scheint das Glück nicht auf Lilys Seite zu sein.
Nichts desto trotz macht Lily immer weiter, denn um die Mörder ihrer Eltern zu finden, fehlen immer noch die entscheidenden Spuren. Aber reicht das alles, wenn sich die Schlinge um Lilys Hals immer fester zu zieht und sie auch noch ihren Freund zu verlieren droht?

Jetzt ist Lily endlich mit ihrem Agent Griesgram zusammen und schon muss Will auf eine Undercover-Mission von unbekannter Dauer. Wie heißt es so schön: Erst hat man kein Glück und dann kommt auch noch Pech dazu.

Man spürt auch wieder diese Zerrissenheit bei Lily und wie weh es ihr wirklich getan hat, als ihr keiner geglaubt hat, auch wenn sie es nach außen hin leicht nimmt, merkt man, dass es sie sehr verletzt hat und deshalb ist es auch absolut nachvollziehbar, dass sie Jeremy um jeden Preis helfen will.

Ansonsten ist es immer wieder schön, zurück nach Westerham zu kommen und der PUB einen Besuch abzustatten. Ich mag die Charaktere der Serie einfach. Allen voran Lily, die ihr Herz auf der Zunge trägt und einen fabelhaften Sinn für - teilweise sehr schwarzen - Humor hat.

I LOVE Lily so damn much. She is fierce and passionate, and so very human in her witchiness.

The author's style makes me feel like she and Lily are catching up with me over coffee, and wine, and yummy food, and telling me her larks and tales. Breaking the 4th wall works so well for her voice. It makes the series an effortless read.

The series plot is evolving beautifully. Some great decisions have been made, while Will’s path makes my heart ache though. Brilliant call by the author.

I loved this story’s plot. Jay is a great addition. It was fun (maybe not the right word) that this book felt a little edgier with the more gruesome descriptions. It really helped mix up the narrative arc.

The author describes this series as fitting in the "cosy mystery" genre. That's an apt description. Easy to read and enjoy in one or two sittings.

The characters and their relationships are definitely building, as well as witch skills emerging and intensifying for our heroine, Lily. It's so refreshing to have these powers exercised in contemporary circumstances, such as through a digital camera.

i thought the quality of writing for this series would improve but by book six it is still full of inane filler, characters that don’t know the plot revealed four books ago,and really very little plot. the only benefit is how quick they are to read.
self publishers should note they still need to work with a real editor. if only for their readers sake.

killer Witch is a Killer!

Fun book! Love Lily, who found out she is a witch on her 24th birthday. And, so is her brother and their parents!! She is learning about mastering her powers while confronted with another murder. She is fierce and funny and loyal and smart - and I am looking forward to No.7. Highly recommend!

Wow! Starts as an 80 year old grandmother's birthday party at which Lily has been hired to take photos, and winds up a battle of witches. Any more and I'd spoil it for you, but if you like cliff hangers, you'll enjoy it.

This is a very good book in the series. I especially like when Lily is told she can not do something and she decides no one makes the decision of what she can and can not do. I enjoy watching Lily grow in her magic power every book.

This story pace felt a little bit slower from the previous books in the series. Overall it was still an enjoyable read with moments of suspense and curiosity triggers. I will definitely continue with the series, the characters are great and fun to follow around.

A good read, but

I really enjoyed this book, it had some nice twists and turns, but in the end, Dionne had telegraphed the outcome, which robbed the book of some of its joy. Still, I look forward to the next book in the series.

Taking a job as a photographer at sometimes birthday should be an easy job? Yeah not for lily lol....She meets Jeremy (a famous actor) Liv is swooning but lily isn't, she has Will. Ok so she swoons a little 😂.

Everything seems to go from bad to worse as lily uncovers a serial killer case.
