I’m the small town good girl. He’s the rebel, the hot, growly, tatted-up biker.
I’m nineteen. He’s twice my age.
He’s belongs to the Hell’s Heathen’s MC, and in this town, that’s bad news.
I shouldn’t want him, but I’m drawn to him like a moth to a flame. I know I’ll end up burned if I get too close, but I can’t make myself care.
We’re from two totally different worlds, but from minute one, it feels like we belong together.
Until a secret from Vicious’ past threatens to tear us apart and destroy the heaven we’ve somehow begun to make.
Our love seems unstoppable, but danger’s coming, and by the time it’s through with us, trouble may be all we have left.
***Trouble is the first novel in the Hell’s Heathens MC series. It’s a 36,000 word older man/younger woman standalone chalk full of instalove goodness and a dash of kink. Vicious is an over the top alpha biker from the wrong side of the tracks who’ll do anything to keep his small town girl. No cheating, no cliffhanger.
As a young girl Raven Dark dreamed of being abducted by a savage alien warrior, whisked away by a brutal pirate, or rescued by a cape-bearing hero. When none of these men came to claim her, she brought them to life in her stories. Then twenty years ago she met the man of her dreams. He doesn't wear a cape, fly a spaceship, or wield a sword, but sometimes she swears they've mind melded.
Raven lives with her dream man in the Mundane world's version of Ontario, Canada.
DNF 40% Caveman insta-lust on steroids. The characters are seriously disappointing. They have absolutely no chemistry and apart from the H thinking the h is beautiful there’s no reason at all for me to think they should be together.
Anne is immature. Viscous is only a few cheesy sentences past being mono-syllabic. Their age-gap speaks volumes but apparently a random spanking will fix everything. I expect more in an MC romance.
One of my favorite tropes and the heroine ruins it by being a bitch for no other reason then the Hero being good looking and calling her beautiful. Because god forbid someone be called beautiful 🙄 meanwhile her inner thoughts of him consist of him being a hottie and her nipples jabbing at her shirt.
This is a good story. It's a quick read but keeps you interested. Vicious is part of the MC world and when he meets Anne a young struggling waitress he falls for her instantly. The attraction between the two is off the charts.
Overview: If you are looking for a bold new spin on MC romances, this is not the book for you. This story rehashes the classic tropes in the sub-genre. Be warned: it is written in first-person POV.
It is an okay read, with moments of humor. There are snippets of text which are very good. I found fewer than a handful of editorial mistakes, not enough to draw me out of the story. There are some ancillary characters which are clearly intended for sequels.
*Spoilers*
The heroine (h) is a 19-year-old college student named Anne. I don't remember what she's studying, if it was mentioned. I don't remember her going to class. But she does work in the diner her overbearing, and judgemental, mother owns, a diner Anne may or may not take over.
The hero (H) is named Vicious. He's the 39-year-old Sergeant-At-Arms for the Hell's Heathens MC. I don't understand how he got the name 'Vicious.' He doesn't seem like a bad guy. But no explanation is given. You don't name a guy Vicious just because it's cooler than his birth name, Charlie. There was a incident in his past for which he was sent to prison. But that was explained away quickly and was certainly not a situation that calls for the road name he's been given.
The H and h are both likeable characters but the motions happen too quickly and without relaying any real depth of feeling. Anne is working and H walks in. *Love at first sight ( Or, what I assume is love. H expresses this throughout by using the phrase "You're mine.")*
H and h spend time together. *Poof* they're a thing. Or, maybe they were a thing from first glance.
The most interesting scene occurs in the a bar, where Birdie, a club girl, has a go at Anne.
There are the usual misunderstandings that occur between H and h, which can be solved with conversation.
There is an epilogue, which I suppose is intended to wrap things up. The H and h are married and have a baby. Okay.
My biggest issue is that there's no real conflict this couple has to overcome to make me root for them. I just didn't feel invested in these characters. The mom conflict wasn't fleshed out. The manslaughter charge was dealt with too quickly.
The story is a tidy package, too tidy, I think. It needs more.

I loved this book! Such a sexy, sweet, and engaging story about an older biker who falls in love with the younger innocent woman her meets. The story is engaging, sexy as hell, and fun despite the obvious obstacles to overcome from those who have their own prejudices. Written well and flooded with great imagery and just enough angst. I can't wait to read the next in this new series. Highly recommended!!!

A short story that I really enjoyed from Raven Dark. I love MC stories and this was right up there. Anne and Vicious are perfect for each other and the age difference didn't bother me in the least! A sweet and quick read. I'll be waiting for the next book!!
This is a quick read. Vicious is 20yrs older than Anne’s 18. He is part of a motorcycle club and has spent time in jail. Anne is a small town girl, takes classes and lives at home with her mother. On paper the two should never meet. But when they do it’s instant chemistry. Vicious claims her as his. The story moves along quickly. Short conflicts with a happy ending.

Eh the book was okay wasn’t a huge fan of the main character, she just always brought up the same thing over and over again 😭I liked Vicious but he’s definitely not a favorite 😭🤷🏼♀️
I have read a lot of MC books and this one was not nearly as good as others. Parts were okay but for the most part it was hard to stay focused on the book.
Irritating whinings of a teenage girl about her crush. It's so cringely immature that I wish there was away to blacklist so called author's like this, who aren't real writers, so they don't show up on my amazon book searches. The female is so childish and immature that there is no way a forty year old, hardened biker, would go for her.
All her teenage droanings on about how "He hasn't been around, she hasn't seen him, he hasn't come by, he hasn't.." bla bla bla and "How without him my life anymore it will unbearable", it not only gave me a migraine it had me saying seriously she's only know him for a couple of hours!
It's so bad it's ridiculous! The author completely skips all the development, having them thinking things like that, and, "He was always so wonderful to me, never did anything bad, always treated me like a queen", again seriously she's only known him hours! Awful rubbish.
As for the writing, it is very amateur. There are missing words, missing punctuations, huge grammatical errors, sentences are not complete. For example, "her boyfriend is the quintessential rich prep", ??? Is missing the word 'guy' on the end. There's a lot of unfinished sentences because if missing words. And many other problems, again all in the first 30%. Not good.
Question, why are 70% of the fmc in biker mc books waitresses? Do American women have no other occupations? I swear I'm sick of reading about yet another waitress meeting a bad boy biker. There's thousands of other jobs women do but by far a waitresses job is the predominant occupation. What is it with this fixation on this occupation? We don't get it in any other genre. Dont you think thats strange or is it a social commentary on women who waitresse?
As for the book: corny, predictable, boring, no depth, no edge and so cringe worthy I ended up skimming the book.
Virtually no biker culture in here so it literally tells me the authors have jumped on the mc bandwagon.
Anne is a pathetic immature 19 yr old who for some unfathomable reason has the SAA Of a biker club fall insta in love/lust with her n claims her. Hes 39. Yeah what is it with older guys and young girls? When she's 40 he'll be 60, 50, he'll be 70. How's that work?
And of course he has a dick the size of her arm blah blah boring blah.
Honestly its like a condensed mills n boon version of a biker book crossed with ya.
Vicious is part of a MC and finds his one a young girl working at the cafe. But with everything going on there relationship will have its up and down . Nice story.
When her mom tells her about a bank robbery in their small town her mom says they got a million dollars and she thinks its the He;ll Heathens MC. She tells her daughter she should have sold the diner years before but then she tells Anne what to do while she goes to an antique auction. As Anne picks up a tray with dishes a man puts his hand on her shoulder and says something she drops the tray breaking the dishes. She looks up into beautiful eyes and a gorgeous face hes wearing leather with a diamond with a 1% sign in it and a Help a Heathens name on the back. She should be scared but he is so manly it turns her on.He keeps calling her beautiful. She stands up and says something smart to him an he laughs. Will she end up going out with this gorgeous older man? When he tells her she belongs to him she snarks at him an says she belongs to him. What will her mom do?There are so many twists and turns to this story that will keep you riveted until the very last page and leave you begging for more.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes and makes you feel their emotions and their pain.I can hardly wait to see whats next by this multi talented author.

Fun, fast MC romance. I really enjoyed this insta-love story. I wasn't sure what attracted Vicious to Anne, but it's clear from the beginning that he falls hard for the quiet, small-town girl, and who wouldn't love the rough, possessive, incredibly hot biker? I agree with some other reviewers that Anne's mom is over the top, but having seen helicopter parents in action when it comes to bikers and their daughters, I found this believable. There were a couple of places where the plot was a little too pat (why did the bad guys try to rob Anne and her mom when they had so little money in comparison to the big bank robberies? why did Vicious and his brothers suddenly show up during the robbery when their clubhouse was hours away?), but those points didn't break my willing suspension of disbelief and I was able to enjoy the whole story start to finish. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
Trouble is Raven Dark's newest entry to the MC world, and it is a good one. It's a fairly short read, but one that I really enjoyed.
The story is of Anne and Vicious. She helps to run a local diner with her mother, while he is a member of the Hell's Heathens. When he sees her for the first time, he knows that she is his, and she knows that he's going to be trouble.
I really liked both Anne and Vicious. She's a very loving person, and she wants to be loved in return. Her mother has basically smothered her, and she wants to break free from that, but she still loves her mother and doesn't want to hurt her in any way.
Vicious had things in his past that lived up to his name, but he was very careful with Anne and making sure that she felt loved and safe with him. I really respected him for that. It must've been hard for him to do at times, I think.
All in all, a very good story, and I'm really looking forward to the next one in the series.
Anne is 19 and works with her overprotective mother. Local stores are being robbed and her mom suspects the local MC club is responsible.
Anne is working by herself and just having a lucky day when in walks an older man with a cut and has his sights in the "beautiful" Anne. Vicious is about to bring the bad girl out of Anne. He sticks around and asks when she's done with work and takes her on a ride she'll never forget.
With an overprotective mother, Anne is convinced it's a one time deal but she don't know how determined Vicious is and he means what he says...she's his.
There are some surprises in store when we learn about Vicious' secret. Also just how vicious her man will be when someone tries to mess with her and her mother.
Insta-sexy. Love a man who knows what and who he wants....then get ready to meet Vicious. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

Older Man/ Younger woman Another much older man and younger woman trope, set in the MC world, sorry I tried and retried, to get through this and failed, I even sent it back as I got it through KU, then went and got it again, after reading other reviews, thinking maybe it was just an off day with my choice of book, but no again I did not finish, We have a very very sheltered young lady, an overly protected mother, and a much older biker turns up, decides she's his, and she just goes right along with it, drops her draws the first chance she can get. I mean I've heard of repressed feelings and living but this went the other way. I have no idea if the book got any better, The minute she dropped her pants for this dangerous much older guy, I didn't want to read anymore, I have nothing against that kind of thing you only have to look on my wish list or kindle to know this, but please make it believable, I just can't see a young sheltered girl doing all that. Hence the 2 stars
This is my first Outlaw MC novel and I enjoyed it enormously. It's advertised as an older man/younger woman story, so no false advertising there. I did appreciate that the heroine, Anna, was *not* a virgin, just young and as such a bit inexperienced. I can't really speak to the older man/younger woman kink being as I've kinda aged out of the "younger woman" category some years ago, but the 20 year age difference between hero/heroine was certainly wasn't a hindrance to either the authenticity or romance of the story in any way.
Vicious is that certain kind of alpha hero that is completely incendiary in fiction but would likely be flashing red light creepy in real life. But, lo--"Trouble: Hell's Heathens: Book One" is sweet, sweet fiction, and I love it.
I look forward to continuing with the author's next entry in this series.
I love a good romance between an older alpha male and a younger naive female, and when you throw an MC into the mix it's even better! This was a pretty quick read, but quite refreshing. Vicious and Anne meet at the local diner and Anne is initially skeptical about the bold and beautiful biker because she's grown up in a small town that is leery of their local MC. But while Vicious does his best to win Anne over and battle drama related to his club, Anne finds out some info that sends her running for the hills. There is a little bit of emotional upheaval when you're wondering whether she'll come to her senses or keep it moving, and it all comes together to make a fun addictive read. This was my first encounter with this author and I'm anxious to read more from her. The story itself was really well-written.
This was an exciting start to the Hell's Heathens MC series . Anne lives in a small , boring town with a mom who is controlling and overprotective , but when a few crimes start popping up and Anne comes face to face with Vicious . Will she listen to her mamma or has her heart already been taken ? Anne is a very relatable character, because everyone wants to break free and venture out on their own when they are young . I got her, especially the rebellion when she meets that older man who is everything her mother warned her against . Vicious is That sexy older man with that edge every woman craves . I loved the angst , drama and these two characters together were smoking hot. I cant wait for more especially if Anne's mom gets a book of her own .
Trouble was a quick, instalove age gap love story with a hero who is in an MC and a sweet, good girl heroine. Instalove and MC’s are not tropes I read a lot of because I prefer lots of relationship development and in depth world-building as a general rule, but every once in a while I like to cleanse the palate with something quick and dirty. Vicious and Anne have hot sex scenes and of course I love his alpha/dominant personality and dirty talking. In this case the story really centers on the couple vs the MC world, which provides a background conflict for the couple in various ways. The style reminds me very much of Alexa Riley’s quick instalove stories, so if that is your thing definitely check this out.
Wow, what a book – an amazing start of the ‘Heathens MC’ series! It is absolutely fantastic and quite the page-turner! This story hooked me from the beginning and kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. It is well written with a well-developed plot and moves along at a brisk pace. The suspense, action, witty and colourful banter, differences between the characters, and humour kept my heart racing from all the excitement. The characters are amazing and perfect together; their chemistry is instant, potent, and off the charts. I can hardly wait to read book 2. Definitely recommended!

Anne works in her mother's restaurant. When a sizzling man in leather walks in, she can't take her eyes off him, but she's heard things about the bikers and is a little nervous to be around him. When he talks to her, she can't help but agree to anything he wants. What will happen when Anne finds out about Vicious' past? Will she believe what everyone else, including her mother does or will she be able to see the the past for what it is and look to a future? This is a steamy read about a ruggedly handsome biker that lays claim to young girl the moment he sees her. Enjoy

A great fun read that for all it is set in the MC world and is an older man younger woman book is really just a good old fashioned sweet romance. If this is any indication of the rest of the series it will be a winner
Anne is a nineteen year old good girl she never does the wrong thing and she knows that you have to stay away from the Hell's Heathen's Bikers So why when she meets Vicious he she so drawn to him even though he is a biker and twice her age. Vicious knows he should leave her alone she is too innocent for him and his life but he is drawn to her and doesn't want to let her go Can their love have any future you will have to read to see.
