One night, one fantasy brought to life...throw away all your inhibitions and just live in the moment; who cares about tomorrow, when you have one night to live it up...

Talk about being in the right place at the right time, Ginny comes face-to-face with Ash, Black Halo’s lead guitarist, who wanted to forget that his band all but imploded tonight, with their lead singer going AWOL after announcing that the band is over, he needs a little distraction and Ginny is the right girl for the job, fishnet stockings and all.

Just her luck, the night ends with her holed up in a hotel room with three rock gods, but only one sets off her need like no other. Ash doesn’t do relationships; he’s all about her pleasure making sure the fans are kept happy, but Ginny, she’s different wanting to please him just as much as he does her, she trigger some feelings and reactions that has him at her mercy.

All Night Long is a short erotic read about living your fantasy and making memories. Definitely insta-lust as the whole story is told about their one night but in that night we got to know the characters, saw their flaws and their skills and got in their heads. The story was well told, making it a very enjoyable read. Even though there was a sense of a HEA, there is more to the story but highlighting a different band member where we can catch back up with Ash and Ginny and see what trouble they find their selves in next.

Brings his friends..

and then a WHOLE LOT OF LOVING!
Ok not loving. a whole lot of fucking.
a teeny tiny smidge of a menage.
but basically 2 people exploring each other.
for one night...

I can't wait for the next.
But if a lot of sex and dirty talk isn't for you. Don't read this.

5 Flaming Guitars!

Warnng: Great fast paced read, hot rock stars, and steamy sex scenes

So if you have an Aversion to any of the above stop now! If not grab this book and read!

Ash returned to his dressing room uptight and pissed off at the bands lead singer ,Xane for imploding on stage in front of an audience then walking off; after announcing the band was breaking up; and found himself in the company of a beautiful women, short skirt, high heals , fishnet stockings all up is aisle. Ginny was waiting on the band , truthfully any member she was up for a quick shag or two and a bucket full of memories, what she does not expect is to be offered all night long, but she will take it!

Ash does not do relationships, call him relationship phobic, getting burned once was enough he refuses to open himself up to the possibility , so when he finds himself drawn more and more to Ginny he fights to put the walls up and keep this a one night stand , but every sexual act, every orgasm , imprints her more strongly on his heart . Ginny doesnot just want sexual satisfaction for hereself but for Ash too, something he is not use too! Though he has sex with several women a night, no one bother to make rue he is satisfied , but Ginny does. In fact she prides herself on it.
Ash and two other and members wind up back at her hotel room sinc the mob at the stadium prevented them from getting near the bands hotel . Turns out Ash shares well, up until Ginny gives him his second orgasm of the night , uncommon for him. Over the course of the night, Ash is thinking maybe a relationship is possible, unprecedented thinking on his part .
Ginny admits that she feels a connection , pushes him to admit it too, can these two maybe try for a real dateanda second night together?

So looking forward to the next book. And more Ash and Ginny, and xanes story!

This book had loads of naughtiness so of course I loved it! I loved Ash, "you're going to knock me over? Babe, I'm twice your height. I could probably bench-press you." Ginny she's so sweet, "don't you run away from me. You haven't come," she insisted. Like he needed the fact spelling out. "You didn't earlier either. You need to." She likes to make sure her man is taken care of, "they'll see your naked arse in the glass." That possibility didn't seem to hurry him up any. "Come back to the room with me. Please I'm sorry I overstepped the mark. Let me apologize by working off come of the tension I've caused." I can't wait for book two!

This book's events are parallel to Come Undone and describe Ginny and Ash meeting each other. It was a fun, quick, read with sassy banter and provocative, hot sex. I also loved the rest of the band, and can't wait to read their stories. They are such an interesting bunch!

Ginny Walters is a live in the moment kind of girl. Looking for a night of fun with hard rock band Black Halo, Ginny sets out to hook up with a band member for the night. However, the night that she picks is one where the band publicly splits, leaving Ginny in the middle of the drama and pandemonium that ensues. Returning backstage after lead singer Xane announces the band’s demise, lead guitarist Ash Gore stumbles upon Ginny and the sparks fly instantly between the party girl and the player.

On the down side: Ginny doesn’t seem to be all that discriminating. The fact that it was Ash that happened to be the first one to come backstage seems to be just dumb luck, as any member of the band would suffice. In addition, the origins of Ash’s reluctance to pursue any type of relationship was alluded to, but it was never entirely fleshed out. He just kept going back to how he was hurt before, but there wasn’t a whole lot of detail describing how or why. For an issue that was the crux of the story, I thought it should have been explained a little better.

On the plus side, Ginny and Ash were both likable and fun characters who were honest with their feelings, and the heat between them was palpable. And the sex between them (and the other participants!) was kinky and naughty and HOT HOT HOT!

This book reminded me a lot of Olivia Cunning’s One Night with Sole Regret series, just with a British twist. I had to reread some things twice to make sure I understood what was being said based on some of the expressions used, but it still made for an entirely fun and dirty read. If you’re into fast stories with rock bands, gorgeous guys, hot sex and… more hot sex, then this is a definite yes.

When I read the notes at the end of the book, I expected there to be a teaser to other volumes that would include the other band members Xane, Rock Giant and Spook. It wasn’t until after I read this book that I realized a lot of what is referenced actually took place in a previous book by the author, Come Undone (Rock Hard, Book 1). In addition, a third series is referenced containing follow up adventures with the band. I am a little confused by the different lines that these stories seem to be heading in, but regardless, I am hooked and ready to go along for the ride!

I received this book from NetGalley in place of an honest review.

You don't know how much I'm glad that I read the book Come Undone from this same author. I got to get some background on this book. and I have to say that this book should really come with the warning of EXTRA HOT! If this book doesn't make you wanting some really cold water then you need to reread the book again. Not saying that you will love it as much as I do.

Ginny Walters goes to the Black Halo concert, She knows that she will have a one night stand with someone in the band. As soon as she runs into Ash Gore it just so happens that there is a hot connection between them. She's also just found up from Xane that the band is splitting up. You know a lot of girls dreams were let down.

I'm not quite sure if Ginny would've had a connection with anyone else in the band or not. All she wants is to live for the moment and sometimes a minute could be just one night. Both of these characters are not telling each other promises that they can't keep. What you get here in this moment in time is what you get.

I really hated it when I had reached the end of the book because it felt like all the magic was gone. I could have read this book over and over again without getting tired of it. I like this authors writing style and how she can keep your attention. You might not get completely into it but you will some. The characters were cool and you didn't have to worry about any lies.

I will be looking for more books by this author. I hate that I read this last year and I am just getting my review done. Next time I promise to not take so long.

Well, where do I start? This is not your average "rock star meets girl" story and although I enjoy those usual story lines as much as the next girl, this is different and better.
All Night Long kicks off in spectacular style, immediately filled with steaming hot sex and a good helping of drama!
Meet Ash, lead guitarist for Black Halo. Outwardly, he's got the usual cocky rock star persona - he's hot, sexy and confident - but as you delve deeper, you'll realise that he's really struggling with his inner turmoil. That inner voice that makes him doubt himself and brings all his insecurities to the front of his mind.
When he stumbles across Ginny, he knows it'll be the usual groupie routine - "f**k 'em and chuck 'em" - but she's about to set his world on fire!
Ginny is strong, confident and sassy and all she's looking for is a no-strings attached, one-off night with a blazing hot rock star. What she gets is something entirely different. She gets Ash, who she seems to have a particular connection with when she's able to read him like no other.
Will either of them acknowledge this connection - going against their agreed one night? Could it be more than simply mind-blowing sex?
This is a beautifully written story and although I could easily read more, it's ended at just the right point.
As this is the first book in the Black Halo series, I look forward to reading the other band members stories', particularly Giant Rock's and Spooks'. There's only one other rock star series which I enjoyed this much. 5 stars from me.

I'm awfully confused. I read Come Undone first and then All Night Long, and I feel a bit backwards. Does that mean we are getting more books in each series? The chemistry between these two was insanely hot, and I'm a bit of a rock star fanatic. I felt this one had such a good plot, and I got sucked in real fast. It felt like only moments before I was at fifty percent, and it was panty dropping hot! Overall entertainment at its best!! Five stars for me. Ginny enjoys sex, Ash doesnt do strings attached. this makes for a good attraction for a great night of sex and a lot of dirty talk!
the book was fast paced but you were able to stay right a long with it. the writing was good especially for all the hot scenes. a lot of times that can get lost in translation. was a good mix of characters. the writing was smooth and solid.

I really liked this one! Mostly because Ginny is an ABSOLUTE LEGEND, so therefore I really enjoyed her love story with Ash.

Although this book is the first in the Ash-and-Ginny cycle, called "Black Halo," this is the second installment in Ellis’s combined “Rock Hard” series about the band. This one covers the same timeline as the first book, Come Undone, just from the POV of other characters – primarily Ash and Ginny. This one asks the question, what happens when acknowledged band slut, guitarist Ash, meets Ginny, the sexy superfan who’s down for anything?

Overall, this book delivered on that promise, describing a (semi) wild night with some participation from other band members Spook and Rock Giant, even while focusing on Ash and Ginny falling for each other. Ginny’s not phased by anything sexual, and her egalitarian ways end up overcoming some of Ash’s insecurities, leading to some smoking hot scenes with…yes, real feels involved?! And then we have to wonder if all this goodness can really last more than one night, which neither Ash nor Ginny has much experience with.

It was the characters for me, in this book. I really liked Ash’s brash posturing but cotton ball underneath, while Ginny was just a sexy powerhouse who wasn’t afraid to get honest. And yes, it was interesting to see “the rest of the story” from COME UNDONE.

In this story we have Black Halo’s Ash who sounds like a total jackass and Ginny who sounds like an air head skank. Her skankiness doesn’t disappoint as she winds up having sex with Ash as the rest of the band watched. But Ginny had a sweet caring nature that Ash needed and she gave without reservations. This leads to reverse harem situation at her place and confessions only a rockstar can come up with. Ash had issues and I felt for him. This story started out as a romp but Ash & Ginny were so hot together that my Kindle almost exploded. It’s a short hot story and I’m giving it five stars, I highly recommend it.

What starts as a quick few hours of fun, turns in to a whole night of fun.
These two are drawn to each other but are both against relationships in their own ways.
Due to this, they're slow to realise that they could be having the beginning of something great.
But as the night goes on, they realise exactly how much more they feel for each other and start to believe it could have a future.
But doubts still exist and they need to slay them first.

I received this book via Netgalley for an honest review.

This book is not at all what I expected to be, and unfortunately it’s not a good thing for me. Usually, I’m all game when it comes to read a hot read, but I need real characterization for it to work and unfortunately, I don’t have what I need in a book here.

I know many people already rated it high and are raving about it and I totally get it. It’s the kind of book you read when you want something hot, not very deep or heavy on the characterization. If you want something that is mainly about sex, then go for this one and you won’t be disappointed.

I’m not one to enjoy only sex scenes after sex scenes. I like it when the authors bring in a plot some high stakes and more importantly a characterization that could help me to like or care about the characters. Here, I totally missed that.

The author is a good writer so that’s really not the issue. I just think that this plot isn’t for me, that the too fast growing attachment between Ash and Ginny puts me off and that I couldn’t warm to the story for even a second. I was bored and wanted to finish it fast, which isn’t a good thing.

Like I said, the only thing I want to pride the author for is her writing. That’s why I rate it still above than what I first intended to. I’m harsh, I know, but I’m really disappointed.

Writing such a review is hard for me as I don’t think I am that difficult with books, but once in a while it’s not working for me and I’m left trying to find words to explain why I didn’t enjoy reading a book.

All I can say is that the premise isn’t original, the characters aren’t developed enough to actually help me to put into perspective their true self. Even Ash’s hang-ups are too downplayed or not enough developed to actually see how difficult everything is for him. I have a feeling that I was kept to the surface, but was never allowed to delve in.

The plot itself being on the span of one night doesn’t help either. I thought the major part would be about that one night-stand and then the story would be happening on the span of a few days or weeks, so it also explains why I’m not buying it. I really don’t like it when characters ‘’fall’’ for each other so fast. More often than not it doesn’t work for me.

But the sex scenes are really hot. For that, you won’t be disappointed.

I’m really sorry for this review, but we all know that we can’t love the same books even though we all are book lovers. Sometimes a story doesn’t click with you while it clicks with other people.

Who read this book already? What do you think about Ash? And the other band mates?

Welcome to the world of the badly behaved, sex-on-a-stick, rock & roll & hard loving band, Black Halo, & all of their deliciousness!

Ginny Walters wants 1 hog wild, anything goes, "PULL THE FIRE ALARM" night with a rock star from the group, The Black Halo. So when Ash Gore, lead guitarist, walks into the green room, she feels her girlie parts quiver, shiver & get wetter as he gives her that PANTIE DROPPING smile, he is so famous for. Ash is pissed that Xane, vocalist, quit the band on stage, walked off & disappeared with an unknown woman, but when he sees a gorgeous woman in fishnet stockings, he comes a proud man whore & WANTS! They begin a wild night with some other band mates, Spook (who only takes pics) & Rock/Paul, that begins to engulf Ginny's world. Ash is only okay with only sharing her just a tad with his mates, but her va-jay-jay is all his. Ash has never connected with a woman on such a sexual & emotional level before & it scares him, so what does Ginny do, PUSHES back. Ginny pours all her love into each stroke, lick, kiss & all his happy endings & Ash's soul starts screaming, YES! What happen when Ash walks out the door? Can Ginny make him see their rightness & help drive out his inner demons?? Will Spook & Rock get their "IT" girl next? Could Xane be with Ginny's missing roommate?

This is my 1st rock star romance, also my 1st Ms. Ellis read, but I am hooked to her Black Halo world with all the deeply flawed band mates, the "always gives 100%" Ash, the quirky Spook, the muscle-bound & tats galore Rock/Paul, the seriously psychic Elspeth, the self centered Xane & the yet to be unveiled, Steve the drummer. Seriously flawed characters are my personal favorite because of all their layers, that are slowly peeled back & we the readers get to go on the ride! Poor Ash was always used by others, like when he gets women all warmed up & then they would move to Xane. Ginny is a good girl at heart & I loved it that she embraced her inner HO, but still lead with her heart in all things wicked. Since it's a romance, let's chat about the STEAMINESS of this dirty indulgence that Ms. Ellis has written & just say, you will 'CREAM IN YOUR UNDIES" with all its naughtiness & misbehaving! I can't wait for the next adventure with all the Black Halo members as they take us for another ride, as get their crap straight or not. Ms. Ellis wrote a down & dirty, guilty pleasure with inner demons, some therapy, a great BROromance & wrapped it all in a nuclear meltdown of good old fashioned loving. Ms. Ellis get my score of 4 fingers up & 8 toes for this white hot hormones driven romance.

NetGalley ARC given for my honest review.

Overall Rating: 3.75 Rockin’ ★★★☆

"He didn't get emotionally attached. He didn't need that kind of baggage, much preferring to remain a free agent, not beholden to anyone else's expectations, and luckily for him there was always at least one willing girl at each venue - frequently more - willing to show him a good time."

"She was right. It was more than that, there was a connection, and he did feel it as ardently as she did."

Black Halo Book 1, All Night Long is a book about taking chances and taking what life has to offer. This was a great story with a hot and steamy Ash Gore and an equally vivacious vixon, Ginny. Consumed with passion and fearless want, the couple are thrust together by a chance meeting which shuttles them into a tumultuous relationship that caught them both off guard. The characters were well developed and I felt their desires and needs right along with them.

Ash Gore, the lead guitarists of the Black Halo band is a womanizer, who was heartbroken years ago and never wanted to take the chance of being hurt ever again. He liked to play around without consequences. Although a one time tryst leads to more than a one night stand and he can't seem to get enough of one Ginny Walters.

Ginny Walters, a nymphomaniac in her own right, was longing for a chance encounter with any "Rock Star". Little does she know that everything is about to change for her and the way she views relationships.

Will they take a chance on love and putting themselves out there again, or will they succumb to the desires of the heart, body and soul? I recommend that you read the book to learn about their story. I really enjoyed the feelings this book provoked in me. It took me on a journey of sensual, sexual need and want, as well as delivered a great plot. Job well done, Madelynne Ellis! Grēta

A girl out for a good time, a guitarist whose lead singer just walked off stage in the middle of a concert, throw them together in a backstage dressing room, and the scene is set for a wild night where anything goes.

Ginny is throwing caution to the wind, letting her hair down, on the prowl for a rockstar and a night of fun, when Ash Gore walks in his dressing room. Ash is known for his staying power and is a favourite with the ladies, and Ginny is the perfect candidate to help him forget all the drama that just happened on stage. They instantly connect, literally, each not looking for more than what this one night will offer.

Ash Gore has relationship issues that he covers up with night after night of meaningless sex but after their first encounter, he realises that there is something different about Ginny. She doesn't fawn all over him like the regular groupies. And not like other groupies, she wants to please him just as much as he wants to please her.

Ginny Walters was just in this for a quick hookup, a night with a rockstar, no strings attached. But she sees past Ash's cocksure exterior and knows there is so much more beneath the surface.

When they start to make a deeper connection, they both start to question whether they can say goodbye after one night.

As this is a novella, it gets straight to the point. The sex is hot, the antics wild, brash and bold, the banter is fun, the characters full of spunk. All of the characters were easy to connect to and they were entertaining and engaging. I really enjoyed seeing the connection between Ginny and Ash develop. They were both likeable and although we learn a bit more about Ash than Ginny in the opening chapter, it really was appropriate for who she was in the beginning. We learn more about each character as the night goes on and I could have kept reading more about them. It was a great read that I didn't want to put down. I'm looking forward to the next books in the series.

At the end of this book we are given a few tidbits about the next books in the series and I realised that Come Undone is Xane's story in which the timeline seems to run concurrently to All Night Long. You don't need to read Come Undone first but I will be going to read that one now so I don't miss anything in this bands' story's.

I've been on a Black Halo marathon. Having met Ash and Ginny in Come Undone, I was excited to see where Ms. Ellis would take them. They too met the fateful night of Black Halo's possible demise. It seems as though the night might have brought a little luck to the band--at least a few of its members.

Ginny Walters is Dani's flatmate and joins Dani at the Black Halo concert with the sole intent of meeting a member of the band and enjoying a night of debauchery. Lucky for her, the band member she happens upon first is Ash Gore, lead guitarist and player extraordinaire.

Ash is distraught over what transpired at the concert. With his and the band's future uncertain, he simply wants to lose himself in a woman. But as I said, this was a fateful night and fate might have more in store for these two than just one night.

What I'd wanted in Come Undone, as far as relationship development, I got in All Night Long. And that's saying something considering this story takes place in a single night whereas Come Undone happened over the course of several days. There is definitely a connection between Ginny and Ash but they're both commitment-phobic for their own reasons. Ash is very appealing in his vulnerability. He feels as though he's always playing second fiddle to his bandmates, especially Xane. He tried not to show this side of himself to Ginny but couldn't seem to help himself. Ginny is much more self-assured and realistic about what this thing between her and Ash is. But they both want more.

In All Night Long we get a better idea about the personal dynamics of the band. I liked this quite a bit. We spend time with both Rock Giant (Paul) and Spook and see how they band all fits together--who the lynchpin is and who the glue is. This added dimension to the story. Of course, the steam factor is present. This is erotica after all. *fans self* Ms. Ellis delivers in the smexy scenes but again, she shows vulnerability in the characters and it makes for even steamier steam.

All Night Long made me fall for this band of guys, and its two leading ladies, even harder. I'm anxious to continue this series.

Ash Gore only wanted to forget, tonight was not the time for worries, tomorrow would come soon enough. His emotional battles were pretty well described through out the night, I was able to understand, relate and love Ash. His weakness and his strenght were very well described by the author.

Ginny Walters only wanted to have some fun. She were looking for an "all night long" with a rockstar. She got a lot more than she wished for. Ginny found steamy sex and an emotional ride. She may not have got what she wanted, therefore found what she needed. Ginny was a believable heroine, without TSTL moments and a positive attitude that I could relate.

Ms. Ellis created a hot new rockstar series. She was able to portrait her characters flaws and qualities within a one night frame. It was a fast read that grew accordingly in intensity having it's climax almost at the end. It's a believable rock star world with several hot scenes. The heat was great and the description really well writen.

I have enjoyed the originality of the story built in one night only, with conflict, solution and climax all in the same night. This is the key fact that Ms. Ellis brought to her story, the fast-paced well writen plot, with lots of great sex and characters emotional development.
There is a small cliffhanger at the end introducing the next book, but the book still provides a nice ending to the reader.

All night long is a rock band story with lots of sexy scenes and great emotional development. I read it in one big gulp and enjoy the story a lot. I'm looking forward to read book two in July. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes smut reads with rock stars.

When I read the synopsis for this book, I was really looking forward to reading it. In my opinion, the story was nothing like what the synopsis suggested or what I was expecting it to be like. I thought it was going to be a rocker romance book. In actuality, for the first half of the book, all there was was sex. Don't get me wrong, I like my books hot but seriously, Ginny and Ash met and within 5 minutes they were fucking with other band members watching. It was so not how I was expecting this book to begin.

Disliked
~Lots of things that happened that just didn't seem realistic or believable to me.
~The band knows nothing about Ginny, for all they know she could be some psycho fan, and yet they are happily bringing her along with them and stay at her hotel room.
~The biggest thing, which made me think "seriously?!?!?!", was how quickly Ginny and Ash fell for each other.
~This book takes place within like 48 hours, in which these are the series of events: Ginny and Ash meet. They fuck, enter band mates who then watch. More fucking. More fucking with band mates watching/joining in. More fucking. Sleep. More fucking. They part ways. This is all that happens and yet by the end, they're practically in love.
~You get little back story of the characters or band.

Overall I was very disappointed with this book.

If you are wanting to read this because the synopsis appeals to you, be aware that you most likely won't get the book you are hoping for. This isn't a romance book, it is just sex.

2.5 one night stars

Okay so this book was okay and I don't know if it was because the words were different as in I knew the author wasn't from the US immediately. At first I didn't know what the hell was going on then it slowly started to make sense.

I thought this book was OK. There really wasn't much to it and I didn't think it would literally only be one night. This whole book is based on one single night between these two people. I was going to rate this book 3 stars but when I look back I see that it was pretty unbelievable especially when it came to the ending and what ended up happening between the two main characters.

The sex scenes were pretty hot but the book didn't have much to back up on. You got a brief understanding of the characters but thats even hard to connect because this all based on ONE NIGHT. I think the story had potential and the synopsis sounded promising but it just wasn't my kind of read. I wanted more of everything and I didn't get that.

I can understand why someone would enjoy this read but for me it was a low 2.5 stars. The reason it even got this much stars was because I like the not-hiding-behind-the-bush the main characters showed and the hot guys. Once I got use to the writing it sailed a bit better.

Me personally , I dont think I would recommend this book to someone but kuddos to the author.

I received this book as an e-ARC free from Netgalley. Below is my review.

Even though the blurb suggested this book was on the edge of my comfort zone, I was intrigued enough to try it. Sadly, I should have trusted myself and not gone with it.

Neither Ginny nor Ash felt real to me in any way. Ginny is just looking to get laid and I guess if I understood the groupie mindset, I would have gotten her. But, I don't.

Ash and his bandmates (minus the ones causing the drama) seem TSTL, frankly. As a big name band, who the heck drives off with some unknown woman on her say so to some unknown place? Who doesn't bother to call security? Who believes they won't be recognized? And it's not just Ash, it's all the bandmates. Not one of them is thinking rationally.

The lust triangles are too funny. Ginny goes to get laid but can't seem to figure out who she wants more and then when Ash sorta, kinda lays claim to her, she decides Ash it is.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Holy Hotness!!!! This book will make you want to take a cold shower just saying!

Ginny Walters isn't looking for love all she wants is one night full of passion with a sexy as hell rock star, Black Halo’s lead guitarist, Ash Gore. There is something strong between the two of them. Will she let it go just one night or try to get him try something more?
Ash Gore afraid of getting his heartbroken hasn't found anyone he is willing to risk it with. Being a rock star he is never left without a companion or three a night. But Ginny is different he cannot get her out of his head. So different from the woman he is used to. Will one night be enough for him?

This book is Hot!! This story drew me right in. I could not put it down i was up till 4am needing to finish this book! The chemistry between Ginny and Ash was awesome to read. Their time together was sexy as hell. Ginny has a big of a freak in her and i loved it. Ash has his issues but i loved his character in this book. He was a little closed off but seemed to slowly open up for Ginny.

This is a must read book! You do not want to miss out on this sexy read!
