How could I possibly resist one night with the hottest Daddy alive?
Walker Delaney is a soap opera legend. He turns every head when he walks down the street. He's distinguished, bold, and hot-as-sin. They even put him on the cover of Oh Daddy! Magazine.
Most women have a secret fantasy or two about him, and I'm no exception.
I thought I was seeing things when I walked into that bar. But it was no illusion; it was really him. He offered to buy me a drink, and well... I guess you could say I was smitten at first sight.
Don't judge me. Just look at him. You would do the exact same thing.
I knew it was only one night, but I made the mistake of falling in love...

Are you ready to meet Walker Delaney? He's the kind of man that could charm the panties off a Nun. You don't stand a chance. When he tells you to call him Daddy, you're gonna do it with a smile on your face.

Can a Soap-Opera "Daddy" become a "Daddy" in the real world?
If you are into "Daddy" stories then this a cute one to read. This is the first time I have read this author and was pleasantly surprised that the story was not a hard-core Daddy book but instead lightly touched on it with a bit of spanking and some spoiling but nothing heavy.
The basis is a first year college student, Lauren, meets an about to be out of a job soap-opera star, Walker, in a not so great bar. She is 19 and trying out some fake ID with her roommate (who ends up getting her fake ID thrown away by the bouncer), and Walker is 45 and trying to drink away his issues at being written out of his job by writers going after a younger demographic. The twist is that Walker's soap-opera role is of the shows family patriarch who be a seducer extraordinaire "Daddy" who is the villain.
I liked their initial meeting as it was fun and flirty, with some "fangirling" added in, but did not end up with her melting for him. In their following interactions she continues to show a bit of her back-bone and does not just allow Walker to take over everything as her "Daddy". There is a bit of spanking and some spoiling, which all Daddy's seem to do. But there is nothing intense or outrageous.
I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the previous 2 in this series. I did deduct a star due to bad proof-reading with a number of missing words and sentences that did not make sense.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own
Walker is a soap opera legend turning heads wherever he goes but his relationships never last. Laureen is nineteen and is shocked when she meets him and sparks fly. Will these two end up falling for each other? Fast-paced read with plenty of drama and great chemistry. Walker is a great character with lots of depth and more than just meets the eye. I liked it.

Walker Delaney is a soap opera legend. After giving 20 years to the soap opera the writers are going to kill him off. Walker was not happy so after working off some energy he goes to his local dive to have a drink. This is were he meets Lauren. She looks young too young for him but when he sees her taking a photo of him on her phone he makes his way over to her. She can take his mind off the mess of his day. But Lauren isn't a easy lay in fact she is a virgin who has used a fake ID to get in the club. But he sees something in Lauren so gives her his phone number if she changes her mind. Lauren was all work no play. studying at college putting 100 % into her work. Her best friend gets them fake ID's in the hope of getting into a club. It works for Lauren but Madeleine got her ID crushed by the bouncer. Lauren decided to have one drink then she would head home. What she wasn't expecting was to see Walker Delaney aka Jamison Thorn from the dangerous thorns soap opera. He was hot and he put dirty ideas in her mind. But she wasn't going to just go home with him. But when she gets home she cant get him off her mind. Her body was betraying her so she ends up ringing him asking her to take her out on a date. Well the chemistry is off the dam charts. This book is soooooo hot. I love the interaction between Lauren and Walker. This is a great book I really enjoyed the storyline and the characters were brilliant. this book made my heart sing to see them over come the issues. a Fantastic read!!

This is the 3rd entry in the author's "Once Upon a Daddy" series, and the set up remains the same: teenage college freshman lands a 2X+ her age daddy to spoil her.
My enjoyment level is starting go down with the series, I think, for two reasons: 1st: Only one spanking here. (Hope that's not a *spoiler*, folks.) 2nd: There was such genuinely interesting emotional dynamics going on here with Walker & Lauren that the formulaic setup simply wasn't needed. Why does this character need to be 19, as opposed to mid-to-late 20s (or +)? What does that, as well as her virginity, do to advance the verisimilitude of the story being told here? If anything, Lauren's age and experience detracts from realism of the tale. (I know, from personal lack of experience, that lack of experience sort of dis-enhances a girl's understanding of the location of her G-spot & her early-adopter status of porn-level oral talents.)
This is particularly disappointing because I was interested in Walker's emotional journey. Lauren felt a little flat to me, and please, please, author: if you want to make your female character empowered and in advancing in her career: *don't make her pregnant at age 19*!
I always feel guilty leaving critical reviews. If you've liked the other entries in "Once Upon a Daddy", I do recommend this book. I'd just like to see the some branching out of both the "daddy" and "little girl" ages, experience and life situations going forward.
Ms. Kelli Callahan has been a long time favorite Author of mine. With her innovative storylines; to her realistically crafted characters, you know that you are in for a treat whenever she releases a new book. Distinguished Daddy is such a delightfully delicious book and Walker is a man of many talents. He is a 45 year old soap opera star that has trouble connecting romantically with women (hence the ex-wives). Everything changes for him, upon meeting Lauren, in the best way possible. She's a 19 year old college student that is mature beyond her years. Upon their initial meeting, she is devastated to learn that the devilishly handsome man she grew up watching, is nothing more than a player. After reconsidering his offer, they meet up again, however, this time she gets the opportunity to meet & connect with the 'real' him. The Walker that the World doesn't get to see and as they begin to fall for one another, what could of been, falls apart. Can they get it right? Can Walker find a way to be himself and leave his character at work, where he belongs? I have been devouring romance books for years, and it was a pleasure to see that in this book... it is the teenage woman that was the more mature and optimistic one. Another wonderful job by Ms. Callahan.
I received an advanced reader's copy of this book from Bad Boy Update in exchange for my honest opinion and I highly recommend reading this book as well as anything written by Ms. Callahan.
Walker is a soap opera legend and has dedicated his life to his career. When he learns that his character is going to be killed off because he is drawing in a certain age demographic he ends up at a bar. Lauren is out with a friend using their fake ids however she makes it into the club but her friend doesn't she doesn't want to make a scene so she goes in but plans to come back out after a few minutes. But after she orders a drinks she recognizes Walker across the bar. When Walker catches her trying to take his picture he comes over and offers to buy her a drink which she refuses because she isn't that kind of girl. So he write his name and number on a twenty and gives it to her. Lauren never really thinks that she'll call him even though he has been a fantasy of hers but the next day she calls because she can't stop thinking about him. They ended up spending an incredible weekend together but when he was told that his character wasn't being killed off he started to pull away from Lauren. Was he going to be able to have everything he wanted?
This is an amazing story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is explosively hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this story. I would recommend this story to any book lover.

In this book we meet Lauren and Walker Delaney. Lauren is out one night with her friend and roommate testing out their fake ID's. Lauren's works just fine however Madeline's not so much. She encourages Lauren to go ahead and have one drink and they will go after that. While inside the bar Lauren sees the man that has stared on a soap she has watched off and on over the years and she can't hardly believe it's him. Walker has just gotten devastating news his long running character is being killed off. They believe that due to the me too movement his character is dragging down ratings. After hearing such news he thinks that getting drunk is the thing to do that night. When he sees Lauren he thinks if he can just pick up this girl then maybe they are wrong about him. When that doesn't work he sinks lower. What happens though when these two meet up again will they find a HEA or will their hang ups and old baggage get in the way?
This is another great story by this author. It does have its ups and downs that I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
This is a great read and I highly recommend it for all those who love a good taboo romance. Walker plays the head of the Thorne family in a daytime soap opera. He is known for being a distinguished daddy on TV. When he gets some bad news he heads out for a drink at a local bar where most people know him and just let him be. He catches a beautiful young woman trying to snap a discreet picture of him and decides to throw out his rule about never dating fans out the window, well at least for the night. When Lauren is approached by one of her favorite soap opera stars after she tried to take a picture of him she's embarrassed, but Walker reassures her it's fine and they talk a little. He acts like a jerk and she gets way turned off and decides to leave. He gives her an autograph and his phone number, but doesn't really expect her to call him. Grab this book to find out what happens when Lauren actually does call Walker. Is he a true jerk or was he having a bad day? Read this story to find out. It's a great read!!

This is my first book from this author and I have to say I like her style. Seeing that I dated older men when I was young, I can relate to this story. I believe that age doesn’t matter if there is maturity in both parties. This story is about Walker and Lauren, he is the distinguished actor who meets Lauren in a bar the night he was told that his character will be killed off the show. He believes his charm is going to pick her up to bed her that night, but she doesn’t fall for it and is insulted by what he thinks. He gives her his number and she does call him the next day to see if they may have a date. One things leads to another and before you know they spend an entire weekend together. Unfortunately, his character is not killed off as he originally thought and decides that he cannot have a relationship with her due to his career, but it backfires as he is lonely and only thinks of her. What makes him realize that she is just what he needs and does she actually forgive him after breaking her heart? It is a cute story and a must read.

This is the third book in the Once Upon a Daddy series, each book is a standalone read. This is a story of an older man and a younger woman style romance between two great characters. Walker is an actor and is a long time character on a soap opera. This distinguished character has become a part of himself after so long but he has been informed that his character is going to be killed off. This wrecks Walker and he finds himself in a bar that evening. Lauren is at said bar and recognizes Walker, she watches the soap that he is on. She attempts to snap a quick sneaky picture of him but he catches her. Walker has a rule of no dating fans but its been a hell of a day and he decides to break that rule. Walker leaves her with an autograph and his phone number. Even though Walker gives her his number, he doesn't believe he will hear from her again. Lauren calls Walker for a date. This becomes a really enjoyable story that unfolds these two characters quirks and brings them closer together. However, like all stories this is not a smooth ride to a HEA but is it a ride worth taking?

When faced with a career change, can you handle it with grace? Or with a mid life crisis? Walker, a soap opera star is about to be killed off of the show, heads to the bar to drown his sorrows. Lauren having a girls night out, sneaks into a bar, but her friend doesn't get in. She recognizes Walker and tries to take his picture. His character is one who pursues younger women, uses them then leaves them. He reaches out in character and she's having none of that. They exchange digits and Lauren ends up calling him and they enjoy a fun weekend. Then he finds out his soap character is saved, his life is not changing and so he no longer needs Lauren, right?. Can he really disgard her so easily? Does he do a self assessment? Does he grow up a little? Can Lauren forgive him? This story deals with real life concerns about career identity and how to handle a personal life. Nice story. I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.
Lauren decides to embrace the college life, gets a fake ID and goes into a bar by herself because her roommate and friend doesn't get in. There she spots her biggest fantasy, Walker Delaney aka Jamison Thorn, the star of the daytime soap that she grew up watching with her mom. She attempts to secretly take a picture of him, but the flash gives her away and before she can die of shame, he walks over to meet her. The first impression does not live up to her fantasy, but that still doesn't stop her from reaching out to him to lose her virginity. Walker surprises her with an actual date and the sparks start to fly. The characters are simple in their complexity making them relatable and believable with their feelings, thoughts and drive. The storyline is passionate, intriguing with some difficult ups and downs. I really enjoyed this book.

Distinguished, Delicious, Delivered! Distinguished Daddy written by Kelli Callahan was an older man younger woman storyline set in Los Angles, CA. Soap Opera Star, Walker Delaney meets College student Lauren at a bar and what starts as a weekend fling digs deeper into psyche but he walks away due to past failed relationships. Will he figure out how to do things differently? Will she give him a second chance? I liked this story as I was engaged right from the beginning and remained so until the end. The author allowed Walker to continue to grow and show he had depth and not remain a Hollywood caricature. Lauren was not an airhead college student but intelligent. So I’m definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure. I am leaving this review for your consideration. Peace.
Made me reminisce on the Soap Star crush in my younger days Really enjoying the 'Daddy' stories. They are full of romance and love with sassy, sexy romps. The age gaps aren't what necessarily defines the story. They really take a backseat for me. It's all about the relationships. The highs and the lows that can occur in any relationship. This story reminds me of fantasies of my younger days, when I had the steamy crush on a Soap Star. Walker is that soap star. Hot, older and all man. Lauren is the young woman that had those star fantasies so when they meet it's a bit awkward, overwhelming and Walker's a bit of a jerk but he gets a second chance. Lauren believes in what they have starting and is willing to work for it. If only she can get Walker to let go of his past relationship sins. Light BDSM (spanking, Daddy play)
Well written, well built and very hot. I chose this book because I like this author even if I do not really like the stories of "daddy" in general, but it is very well built, with a realistic beginning. The meeting of the characters is credible: a 19 years old woman who goes to a bar to drink alcohol even if she's underage for that, and who meets one of her childhood's idols who works on a soap opera who is trying to change his mind because his 25-year-old character in the series is going to be killed. He is quite a jerk when he meets her and she leaves him in the bar, but he still managed to leave his number on a twenty dollar bill. Now, she has to decide what she wants to do. The story is extremely torrid, in the atmosphere of the soap operas’s system and with self-discovery at all ages. It's a very good story. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
ONE HEART POUNDING TREAT!!! OH MY LUCKY STARS! Talk about drowning in wonder. Man, this is one sappy, panty melting, heartwarming delight. I'm in a puddle. Yep, I melted right then and there. A whirlwind of unexpected activities and surprising events launch a full range of swirling emotions into play front and center. An amazing wild ride that keeps you on a razors edge as everything falls into place with such perfection it totally rocked. The characters are authentic, engaging and so realistic with depth and personalities that blend and play off one another in such a smooth flowing rhythm. The scenes are so graphic and detailed it paints a fantastic backdrop that really makes the storyline pop. All the twists and turns really bring this little gem bursting to life perfectly. Amazing job Kelli, thanks for sharing this awesome read with us.
Our heroine spies her TV idol across the bar and can't resist grabbing a picture. She ends up getting much more than just a snapshot.
This is ah older man/younger woman romance. This is also book three in the series, but all of the books are complete standalones, so no prior reading required. Of the early books in the series, I think this one is one of my favorites. The characters are well developed and realistic and they have really good chemistry together. I also like that the heroine stands up for herself and that makes for a much stronger relationship.
The story is well written, with a straightforward plot and lots of steamy scenes. Overall, I found it to be good weekend read.
Highly recommended.

Walker has been a main character soap God for 20 yrs when the studio tells him he's being killed off for a younger focus. Lauren goes with her roomie to LA Dark bar only she gets in, and there she meets Walker. She grew up watching his soap and is enamored with him. But after the day he had, he comes on to strong and arrogant and turns her off. But he gives her his phone number on a 20 dollar. She calls him the next day and sets up a date. She ends up staying the weekend. He blows up their relationship when the soap changes their mind to keep him and he feels they will fail like his past relationships. This is not a Daddy Dom story. He takes her shopping once, spanks her and she calls him Daddy a few times, but it seems light compared to most Dd/sub stories. Love the ending!!
This book had so much more potential in my opinion, but it was still a nice story to read. A Hollywood Soap star whom looks far older than his actual years approaches an incredibly young woman at a bar. What follows in this story was often confusing and cringe-worthy, but was still interesting in its own way. I'm not sure that I would have read this story if not given the opportunity to read it for review. I do enjoy Kelli Callahan as an author, and most of her other stories, but probably would have skipped this story.
Please note that I did receive an ARC of this book, and the opinions expressed are my own.
Walker Delaney has played Jamison Thorn on the soap opera since before I can remember, but I know all about it becaused I watched it with my mother everyday after school and she still keeps me posted when I call every Sunday now that I'm off at the University. What she doesn't know is that I met him and fell in love with the man 25 years older than me. Too bad they didn't kill him off in Dangerous Thorns so he could be the man he wanted to promise me, rather than the one he'd been acting for 20 years that all the 'Me, Too' people hated! Now, Mother will never know! I am volunteering this review after reading an ARC.
This is a story of how fantasies do sometimes comes true. Lauren met Walker; her TV actor crush, whilst she was on a night out, but went home alone at the end of the night. They met after that night and embarked on a whirlwind romance, that came crushing down around them. However, they realised they couldn’t live without each other, so finally got their happily ever after. This book is a wonderful, romantic story, with a bit of drama but also makes your heart sing.

Soap legend meets young college student? A recipe for success. Distinguished Daddy is book 3 in the Once Upon a Daddy Series. After reading this book, now I plan on going back to read the first two. Lauren, a college student meets Walker, a soap star after at a local bar. Lauren grew up watching Walker as leading man Jameson Thorne. Walker is a bit of a jerk at first because of learning of his character's fate and Lauremn turns down his proposition. Unable to get him off her mind, she gives him another chance. The chemistry between Lauren and Walker was incredibly hot and I definitely recommend this book!
Another great book from this talented author she is currently in the daddy romance phase and let me tell you they are working
This is the story of Lauren and Walker She is a nineteen year old who has sneaked into a bar he is a mature aged tv star who has played the same role for the last twenty years A role where he has women calling him daddy Now he has his eye on Lauren and gives her his number When they do eventually get together he begins to wonder why his marriages never work and he slowly realise that he has been carrying his tv role into real life will he really feel with Lauren and so they have a future together you need to read to see
This is the story of an ageing soap star Walker Delaney. He has been married and divorced and does not think he can truly sustain a relationship. Then along comes Lauren a student. They strike up a friendship although tentative at the start. Walker does not believe his luck in meeting her but is very cautious. Loved the characters and their slow smouldering relationship. Plenty of misunderstandings but that just adds to the story. Would have loved a bit more of an epilogue as I did not want to say goodbye to the characters. A good story.

Walker Delaney was a soap opera actor for 20 years and he finds out they are planning to kill his character off the show. He heads to the bar for a drink to take his mind off his troubles. He meets young Lauren there and sees something in her and gives her his number. Lauren is a college student and dedicated to her studies. She gets into the bar with a fake ID and decides to have a drink before leaving. She can't believe her eyes when she spots Walker Delaney and snaps a picture. These two were hot together and this was such a cute Daddy read.

He's a a sexy silver fox, known as a Daddy that every lady wants, but the producers wants to kill off his character; so he heads to the bar to drink and wallow in his sorrows. A chance meeting at a bar. Lauren meets the soap opera legend. The attraction is instant. Walker wants her, Lauren tries and fights the attraction.
I really enjoyed the interaction between the two, the chemistry is hot! The plot fantastic and draws you in. Will definitely make your panties melt! A definite must read.

What a delightful and charming story about a young woman falling in love with an idol, who happens to be older than her, and whom she has admired on her mother's television soap opera shows for years. Imagine running into him in a bar, in his lowest of days, and he is just like his soap opera character, brass, crude, unpleasant. So Lauren walks away, not wanting to deal with that character. Walker thinks he has seen the last of her and moves on with his weekend, but surprised when she calls him because of the autographed $20 bill he left her with his phone number on it. Very pleasing Daddy story, with minimal drama, and lots of fun times!
