Step outside of time at the order of your queen in order to stop a traitor…or to keep an assassin from destroying the future. Or travel forward into the future in order to kill off timelines to save your son…or backwards to halt an accident to save your relationship.

Schubert, R.K. Nickel, Marie DesJardin, and Christine Lucas as they defy time and warp space in order to define what it means to be “temporally deactivated.” So get ready and hold on tight.

This was a really good anthology about things that are outside of time or which involved temporal manipulation. I especially enjoyed Faith Hunter's story about the Everhart witches, Angie in particular, and the vampire Edmund from the Jane Yellowrock series. Misty Massey had a good story about an independent, calm-under-fire, quick-thinking, female custodian that I quite liked. Some stories, such as Schrödinger's Fractal and Compassionate Retry asked moral questions about what lengths someone would be willing to go to for loved ones. Neurons Lost and Found stuck with me as an interesting, post-apocalyptic, sci-fi story about the horrors of war and long-awaited revenge.

Outstanding anthology! Highly recommend. Usually in anthologies there will be a few that are good, and at least one by an author I know that grabs my attention, but this one surprised me.

This batch of stories were just wonderful. There are some by writers who I know and love, while I was introduced to several others that I will now start to look for. I also really appreciate anthologies that are all new material, and not simply republished stories from other publications.

Very well done set of short stories all dealing with some respect of time being deactivated or broken. Except for maybe the last one. A good story but I think it pushes the premise a bit. There are fun tales, more serious ones, some quirky. Some fantasy, some science oriented, a steampunk tale. A couple done by well known writers such as Faith Hunter. Others by not so well known writers but who are still good.

If you like short stories skillfully written I fully recommend this book.

Not bad

I bought this primarily because one of my favorite authors, Faith Hunter, has a story in it. As has been my experience with anthologies, I liked only a few of the stories but I love 💘 Faith's! Her story for me made it worth it buying this.

A Fascinating Collection of Odd Temporally Deactivated Tales

I enjoyed each story as I read it and think my favorites were Faith Hunter's and David B Coe's, but they were all intriguinvg. It's an anthology of weird worlds, each unique and fascinating.

Interesting concept

Interesting concept. Loved Faith's story the best. Seeing Angie's powers develop will be a fun ride. Will have to check out some of the other authors in this book

Love the concept premise of basing stories on a sign upon a phone booth - Temporally Out Of Order. Really enjoyed the anthology. It's great to see how the authors interpret a single concept differently.
