When I think about a sentence, about the rhythm in which its spoken and the melody of its words, I never thought I would apply that to my own life. I was never a metaphorically spoken person but then again, I also wasn’t the type of person that anything extraordinary happened to. That was until Tracey dropped into my life. Literally. The girl dropped from somewhere above me onto my car and my life was forever changed. My world became something I couldn’t envision without her in it. Which brings me back to the sentence thing. The beauty of her life collided with mine in the most awful of ways. The most painfully brutal of ways, but there was still a beauty there. She couldn’t see it…but I could. A lot of times you’ll read a sentence and you’ll be so sure of what it will entail, of what’s just around the corner that you’ll plan for it, prepare for it when it’s needed only to find that what you thought was going to happen...didn’t.That’s the beauty in a sentence. Until that period…you never know how it’s going to end. This is the story we never expected. This is the life neither of us saw coming in the moment someone decided to end theirs. This is the story before the period.
It took me a minute to get started on this book because, well, life. Once I got started, I had a hard time putting it down! I had to keep reading to find out what would happen with the main character, Tracey! It was a great book; I would love a continuation of the story between the 2 main characters.
