Võib-olla säästab kellelgi aega raiskamast: * 70% miljardärist on end ise üles töötanud, mitte pärandanud vara saanud. * https://thebilliondollarsecret.com/ar... * Edu on sinu sisemuses, ära lenda madalalt, vaid kõrgelt. * Ole ambitsioonikas ja unista üleelusuuruselt. * Usu endasse. Ole aus. * Triivijad soovivad sissetulekut, miljardäre motiveerib miski muu elu eesmärk. * Triivijad arendavad ebavajalikke oskusi, aga miljardär arendab õigeid oskuseid: loogiline mõtlemine; inimeste mõistmine; suhete loomine; suhtlemine; müümine; juhtimine * Oluline on toetav tiim inimestest, kes oskavad neid aspekte, mis on sinul puudulikud * Miljardäri harjumused: tõuse vara; hoia oma tervist; loe palju, mine loe voodis enne magama minekut; juurdle - võta aega mõtlemiseks; rutiin ja rituaalid; distsipliin * Visioon. Tegutse.
Wow! Like many people I've started my own business and have had trouble making it work. I wish I would have had this book first. But even if you're like me, and have already started your business, get this book and read to it over and over.. "The Billion Dollar Secret" can make the difference between success and failure, great success and just getting by :)
Till now, there never was a book that would contain knowledge of not a single millionaire... not even one billionaire like Steve Jobs or Elon Musk... not even one corporate CEO like Jack Welch or Tim Cook... but of 21 (twenty one) BILLIONAIRES, all condensed in ONE book. Rafael knows personally and befriended 30 billionaires, but dropped 9 of them from this knowledge base just to focus on SELF MADE people here! Whoah. This is an outstanding feat. This is a must read for every manager and entrepreneur out there
Fantastic book. It allows breaking stereotypes, even those that have been theoretically broken. I recommend it to anyone who wants to look into the mind of those who achieve the greatest business successes in the world.
A book worth reading. This book written by Mr. Badziag, expresses how much potential one has and to realise the same one has to be totally invested. The way the journey of these self made people is described in the boom is truly amazing! This book is a must read. It'll fill you with motivation and energy to follow your mind.
If you ever thought, is it possible for a struggling, hardship prone, having no influential or rich family background individual to become super-successful or super-rich? The answer is YES. This book has no speck of fictional words but pure experience from real-life living entrepreneurs themselves, the legends. It's a MUST READ for all inspirational / motivational / entrepreneurial / real - life success story book lovers.
Mind-blowingly good book ! The interviews are boiled down to the principles of success and to the very facts one needs to realise to be able to step up their game. Regardless of where you at with realising your ideas and dreams, this book will be a great source of knowledge and inspiration for you.
Since I read Think and Grow Rich I have not been so affected by a book until now. The Billion Dollar Secret includes interviews with 21 self-made billionaires, and includes practical steps, strategies and mindsets for you to take to lead a more successful and happy life. I was struck by the fact that all of these billionaires without fail believed that you had to work in something that you loved, and they all were driven to change the world. The practical advice and specific steps should be taught in every University and I can't wait to implement this advice in a systematic way. This isn't advice only for people who want to be billionaires, it's advice from the most successful business-people in the world for anyone who wants to generate more success in their lives. Highly recommended!
Great principles and going beyond what's taught in business schools. As a beginner in business, I find it encouraging and thought provoking.
So far, the book is jam-packed with insight and knowledge about the things that actually help us become successful (not just monetary success).
The stories are very inspiring and go beyond what can be seen on media and written by Forbes etc. so you are learning something new page by page. The book is structured so that it reads like a story all together and doesn't feel like there's work to be done (which there is!). Enjoying it so far and recommend.
This is yet another great book from Rafael Badziag. He spent 6 years on this amazing project, travelling whole world and meeting billionaires to get insights on how to do a large scale business. Successfully. This book is compilation of 20 principles - kind of "Entrepreneurship Know How" which will help you to earn decades of various experiences, avoid mistakes, and show the most effective path to be successful in business (and not only) Learn from THE BEST. All in this book. Definitely a well invested time and money! Andrzej.
Absolutely loved the book! I find it very interesting in terms of personal stories and examples. The author has structured the book very well on different topics and provided examples from interviews. This is not a standard interview-based book which makes it engaging and easy to read. Looking for inspiration and having huge aspirations? This books is a perfect start for those who feel like a Ferrari, can "drive" their life on a high speed and for those who do not see sky as the limit. Well done to the author!
This is a book about difference in big and huge; and difference betwen sucess and phenomenon.
You will be surprised to know gigantic difference between milionaires and billionaires. millionaire owns one hotel; billionaire owns 200. . This book describes few of billionaires around the world at present and tries to find out what they do differently. What makes them so successful over such a long time and what they will like to share with all young minds around the world who will stumble upon this book. . Principles discussed are common but when endorsed by billionaires they become more clear and solid. . Best part of the book is its simplicity. There is no boring data or research or repetition. Book is structured into clearcut chapters. . Author has selected big billionaires and then he has scrutinized their common qualities and then he has mixed them to produce informative and readable content. . Although I would have liked different millionaires featured in different chapters instead of spread over all chapters. But still book structuring makes sense. . life stories of billionaires is inspring and relevent practical wisdom is shared. . I liked and learnt a lot about all the personalities covered in the book. . All aspects of a winner personality are discussed which are useful for reader even if you don't want to learn business. . Definitely recommend as a practical guide for any young mind to get a peek into the minds of mighty and successful. . Thanks netgalley and author for review copy.
I'm disappointed with this book. I can see the real value in first hand information about billionaires, what they consider important and that's the strong side of this book (and I do agree it does better job in terms diversity than Napoleon, and obviously it's more up to date). What I didn't like though is the general format of this book where in each chapter author tries to extract some life tips that he extracted from the interviews. While many of them sounds like decent thing to thing about, they don't seem to be anything new, and reading it sound like 'cheap self development advices of do this and that and that'. I also have an impression, based on what I learnt about the author that his personality is suited to these kind of advices (fight, compete, be strong, try hard, be hard) - these are traits but I fear a bit of potential confirmation biases that could work in the interviews (but hopefully not). At the end of each chapter there is summary of what 3 categories of people does in context of given chapter, and these catagories are "Drifters" / "Millionaires" / "Billionaires". Drifters description are mostly negative yet it's 99% people on earth and I found this not nice treatment, and cheap oversimplification. I liked the chapter about happiness. In general I'm clear not I do not want to be a billionaire. And that I can learn some things from them anyway.
Rafael Badziag’s book “The Billion Dollar Secret” is a must-read for anyone who wants to go another level in their business. There is a wealth of information to be garnered from hearing first-hand how billionaires think and what steps they took to get there. The book encourages the readers to learn to take their destinies in their own hands and to quit making excuses. Don't put limitations on yourself
Life Changing and Excellent. If you want to build incredible wealth or want to know how it is done, this book has practical first-hand information. I only wish this book would have been around when I started out in my journey as it would have saved me time, effort, energy, years and mistakes. I am applying many of the practical concepts Badziag presents in his book to investments and companies. I give this book my highest recommendation.
I am shocked! Rafael, "billionaire hunter" gives us a way of thinking from twenty one the most effective entrepreneurs. This book is unique, no one has done it before. If you want to learn, you should learn only from the best.
This was a very inspirational book, as the author spoke with billionaires that created well-known businesses on what made them successful. The advice that they give can help anyone that is starting their own business.
I am an experienced entrepreneur looking beyond the wisdom of millionaires.
"The Billion Dollar Secret" caught my attention on NetGalley as it compiles first-hand wisdom of BILLIONAIRES, in contrast to all the books about how millionaires think. The author managed to convince 20+ self-made billionaires to work together on this book, including five World Entrepreneurs of different Years (out of 8 billionaire World Entrepreneurs alive!). This is the Champions League of business. I never thought anything like this would be possible and I have never seen a book on this heavy-weight level before.
I am not a fast reader, especially in English. I need time to digest and enjoy a book, but this page-turner read really quickly, probably due to easy language and many stories, and content that absorbed me completely.
The book is packed with well organized thought patterns, behaviors, attitudes of billionaires and backed with surprising examples, first-hand quotes and inspiring stories. It feels like you were sitting at the table with the author and talking to world's best entrepreneurs, and they were telling you their secrets as if you were friends. I was astonished how exciting business careers of these business tycoons were. You learn them from their human side, their minds, their hears, their souls.
It is kind of insight view of a billionaire mind. You learn what make billionaires tick on a personal level. You learn to understand them emotionally and you can follow these thoughts and emotions to show corresponding behavior in your business.
The quality and weight of knowledge and business experience gathered in this book is sensational. I don't know any other book with this much entrepreneurial excellence and wisdom condensed on 300+ pages.
I am pretty excited to apply what I have learned here in my life and business.
The only drawback: The title. IMHO the book should be called "The Billion Dollar Mindset".
This book shares some real insights into the Entrepreneurial Mindset of Self-Made Billionaires. Definitely more than just another bullet list of habits and top tips. Instead we have the personal backstories and very real rags-to-riches success histories of 20 current stars in the business world. These non-conformist entrepreneurs are intensely driven, committed, self-aware early achievers who have a compulsion to be in control and stay in control of their own lives and futures. The surprising thing for me was to discover how much they loved their work - they truly believed that they were delivering solutions to real problems in the world. They loved the process and many viewed their business as a fun game they intended to win! No wonder they are never complacent or willing to settle for second best! The main takeaways from a business and start-up point of view are nothing new, but reading the personal motivations and drivers of these individuals is new and rare. This book is clearly the result of years of investigation by the author.
This has to be one of my favourite books of this year that I have read. To get into the minds of actual billionaires and get facts straight from them on sales, business, lifestyle and life is truly inspiring.
Anybody who wants to achieve success and wealth this is a book that you must truly read.
If I wanted to read a series of LinkedIn posts about wealth and success I'd go to, well, LinkedIn.
I understand what this book is trying to do in principle, but by trying to include the perspectives of so many billionaires (and kudos to the author for being able to interview so many of them), it ends up being super generic and unspecific.
The fastest way to move to the next level is Learning from the top 1% of your field. This book is the best secret from the best people who can both making great thing and making great profit.
1) the book could’ve been half the pages, it is full of duplicated lines and stupid hashtags 2) it says 21 interviews were made, but usually are mentioned like 5 guys 3) I find it quite annoying that not a single successful business woman was mentioned
